On a Sunday afternoon we waited over an hour to eat. It would have been worth it if the food was good but everything tasted ok. The cold noodle broth had virtually no flavor and I can think of 3 or 4 restaurants in ktown with better cold noodles. The dumplings are large which I guess makes it reasonably priced but it didn't taste that great. The service people were nice but they forgot our order of dumplings and waited another 20 minutes. This place is most definitely not worth the wait but ok for a meal if you happen to be there. read more

After not having a great first experience, the owner contacted me through Yelp and explained that he took my feedback to heart thereby improving the dumplings. Came here to see for myself what the rave was all about. We ordered the chadol sullungtang, meat mandu, and mul nyengmeon. The service was friendly, but the food was just ok. Nyengmeon was not to my liking as it had virtually no flavor. Yuchun is so much better. The best thing on the table was the radish kimchi. I don't need to return here. One and done. read more

We were here with high expectations and were left disappointed. Ordered just two nangmyeons with kimchi dumplings and the nangmyeons didn't come out like what was pictured in the instagram pictures. But that wasn't the problem, the dumplings came out uncooked! It was still doughy, you could see the fresh dough inside because it wasn't cooked through. We called the waitress, she apologized and replaced it for us but still one of them wasn't cooked properly. Then the waitress saw that it wasn't cooked properly and just comped us for the dumplings. But this was crazy to us, because there were a lot of foreign customers and they wouldn't know. They were probably thinking that's how it is and were just enjoying it. Maybe the cook was just off last night seeing how the naengmyeon wasn't like how it was pictured? I will give this place a try again, but that has to be addressed. read more

AMAZING FOOD. I got the Lee ga hot soup (assorted beef with veggies in spicy ox broth) and my friend got the brisket in ox broth). Was disappointed mine didn't come with noodles. But the pickled radish and kimchi were amazing. Wish they gave refills of those. We also spilt kimchi dumplings which were addictive. Highly recommend coming here on a cold day. read more

Authentic, healthy, delicious Korean food! Not only is the interior of the restaurant clean, but so is the food. The side dishes were so fresh and perfectly seasoned. The ox tail soup was so rich and comforting. I added a tiny bit of salt and green onions that really brought out the flavor. I ate every drop of it and did not want it to come to an end.The naengmyun noodles and dumpling skin are made in-house and are perfectly chewy. We were really impressed and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend trying Lee Ga out! We will definitely be returning. read more

Everything I've tried here is solid. The dumplings are some of the best Korean the dumplings ive ever had! (both the meat and the kimchi ones are awesome). The meat in the stone pot is also delicious, and naengmyun is so good. Apparently they make their own dumpling skins/naengmyun noodles, so that checks out. The only thing I didn't love was the yukejang, but tbh that's not my favorite Korean dish so take that with a grain of salt. If you want delicious, home-style Korean food this is the place to go. read more

Our first time here. The service was good okay (knocked off one star) but the food was very good. Came here recommended by a friend and it was worth the drive into Ktown. I came here once. The parking lot is small and tight, spots are hard to find. I got the bibim nang myun and kimchi dumpling combo for lunch. You get a full bowl of noodles and 8 steamed dumplings. My friend got the mool nang myun with dumpling combo as well. I tried her noodles but after tasting a kimchi dumpling (which was very good dipped in the soy sauce they give you) the mool nang myun paled in favor. The bibim nang myun was decent but there are a few other places in Ktown I'd rather go to specifically for nang myun. read more

All the bowls and utensils was metal and not plastic which I appreciated. Gotta admit I saw this place feature on Instagram and had to try it out, and it did not disappoint. If you've tried out cold or spicy buckwheat noodles, you know some places have really chewy almost rubbery noodles right?! The buckwheat noodles at this place is amazing! Not chewy, not rubbery, just refreshing and delicious. Their soup/meat dish was super tender and delicious. I wasn't that fond of their dumplings, it was just okay, not enough to want to try again. The naengmyun!!! Loved that I didn't need to add anything to the bibim naengmyun and I don't think I stopped to eat anything else until I finished the bowl. The noodles were thin, chewy, flavorful, and the sauce was spicy, sweet, slightly tangy. I dropped the dumplings in the leftover sauce and ate them. Dumplings were lacking in flavor, the filling was watery and bland, and did not hold together very well. The oxtail soup, oh man, delicious and enough for 2 people. The broth was rich but not greasy at all, the kimchi was perfect for it soup. Service was good even for being so busy. A little difficult to find seating for more than 4 people, we did have to wait quite some time even though the lunch rush was over. No big deal because the naengmyun was worth it. Prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity. This will be in the book for places to revisit. Delicious! read more
