Lee's is a great place for lunch during Monday - Friday (Currently, they are closed on Wednesday). It's $18.99 with a choice of two proteins. If you need more, you can upgrade to all you can eat for $32.99. It also includes the banchan (fixin') bar with your choice of vegetable to add your grilling experience. Also include some favorite Korean side dishes like Kimchi, kimchi zucchini, and pickled radish along with your choice of sauces. There is two sides to this restaurant (bbq and hotpot). You have to choose when you are seated. The BBQ side is a nice and provides great ventilation. They have upgraded since they were Meats and Meats 2. The place is not filled with smoke from the grill unlike the other place in Pensacola. If you're looking for value, this is a decent Korean BBQ reataurant. I was excited to try this Korean BBQ/Hot Pot in town as there is barely any Korean BBQ in the Pensacola/Navarre area. There is plenty of parking in this shopping center and we came on a Sunday evening. There was a 30 min wait time when we got there. Front host was super friendly. I love the seating here as it made you feel like you were at a picnic in the park but inside with A/C on. There are 2 sections of the restaurant. One section is for the AYCE Hot Pot and the other section is for AYCE Korean BBQ only. So it's not possible to do both at the same time. Side dishes are very minimal and you get it from the bar. There is also a sauce bar as well. We all decided to get Korean BBQ. We also opted for complementary miso soup. The highlights of the night were the following: Beef Brisket, Marinated Short Ribs (must have!!!), and Shrimp. We also had the beef bugoli and spicy calamari but it was just average. The marinated short ribs was the best meat out of all them. The grille itself takes a very long time to cook. The staff here was super friendly but there is just not enough staff here. (Not our super nice waiteess's fault!!) It took over 30 minutes for us to get our second round of meat here. I also had to flag her down for refills and more meat. Our dirty dishes were built up at our table and I had to round them up and take it to the dirty dish bucket. Both staff members just looked at me said to put it there when I asked where do the dirty dishes go. Price is $32.99 for AYCE Korean BBQ for each person. That's amazing is the prices includes a softdrink/ice tea. I have never seen this in GA ever. Price for the AYCE Hot Pot is $28.99. I didn't get a photo the menu as I only had Korean BBQ. There is also sign for 10% discounts for first responders (Fire, EMT, and Police) which is awesome as I have never seen that back in Georgia at a Korean BBQ/Hot Pot ever. The meat portions are massive and although there's not as much of a selection of meats as HQ it's much better quality in my opinion. I have been craving Korean food since getting back stateside a couple weeks ago. The atmosphere, service and food took me back to Seoul. It was lunchtime and dimly lit, which I don't mind. I ordered stir fry tteokbokki (rice cake) appetizer and kimchi soondubu. The food was really good, though a little light on the spiciness for me. The tteok was chewy and flavorful and the soondubu was warm, filling and just what I needed. Comfort food! The servers were attentive when needed to be and left you alone most of the time (in Korea most places leave you alone until you call them over). If I had some suggestions for improvements- offer disposable aprons, most Korean meals are served with banchan, I didn't receive any unless there was a self serve station I missed. I've never done Korean BBQ so I can't compare it to other places but neither of us was a fan. The veggies and rice buffet wasn't maintained, so we had to ask them to refill things and put out more clean bowls. We got short ribs, brisket, and shrimp. The short ribs were mostly bone and fat, and chewy. The brisket was also chewy. The shrimp was shell on; I don't know if that's typical but made them really hard to peel and very messy. It seemed expensive for what we got, even though it was all you can eat. The waitress was attentive and came by often to see if we needed anything. However, our grill was not oiled until halfway through our meal. The tables seemed small for all the bowls necessary. That night one of us (the only one that ate shrimp) had food poisoning type symptoms. The only thing she ate that the other didn't all day was the shrimp. We made sure it was well cooked so it wasn't that it was undercooked. I have no intention of returning. It was worth a shot; we wanted to try something different. read more

Lee's BBQ and Hot Pot in Pensacola is the best Hot Pot place that I've tried in the Emerald Coast area. Food 4.5/5. Service 5/5. Ambiance 5/5. As a Korean-American who grew up in Metro-Atlanta, I'm very familiar with hotpot. But I would say this local spot and the Atlanta spots are on different scales and I won't compare! This spot is nice in this area as it has two separate areas for BBQ and Hotpot. I've only tried hotpot and I prefer the "lunch side" or single eater side as you get your own pot right in front of you IN the table. At the tables, you share a huge bowl that is divided ON the table. I don't enjoy that because it isn't comfortable I have to stand or sit on my leg to look at the pot and see what I'm doing. I have to keep reaching and extending my arms whenever I have to put ingredients into my pot and when I want to put things onto my plate. They also have a sauce bar which is simple and has variety. I think it would be nice if they had a like "guide" to different type of sauce combinations. They also have boba which was delicious! I thoroughly enjoyed their black milk tea as I am a boba fanatic and quite picky. The service here is 5/5. The workers are all very attentive and friendly. I remember that I enjoyed my servers every visit! The ambiance is nice as they always play fun k-pop music. I am really interested in the bbq room bcs it looks cool! I haven't gone in though! Tip: Since it is AYCE, I recommend eating the more expensive items like proteins before the heavy carbs like ramen and rice, to get your money's worth! Tip 2: if you put rice in at the end and take out your toppings or cut it into tiny tiny pieces, you can stir the rice until most of the broth boils to make your own type of porridge! Mr Lee's is divided into two halves. The left side is dedicated to hot pot and the right side is dedicated to Korean BBQ. This is a review of our Korean BBQ experience. First observations is the tables are spaced out well. Some of the larger tables have multiple grills. We were seated at a four-top that had one grill. Not a big deal, but the grill was not exactly centered on the table. The table seemed a little undersized considering Korean BBQ requires room for a lot of dishes. Along the back right side of the restaurant is a long self service bar with Korean side dishes (banchan), vegetables, sauces, and rice. Not all of the traditional banchan is represented, but I did enjoy the seasoned bean spouts, pickled radish, spicy cucumber, and the kim chee. We tried Bulgogi (beef and pork), Galbi Short Ribs, Pork Belly, Shrimp, and Squid. The meats were disappointing. In general, the pieces were not sliced thin or cut into uniform size or shapes. Cooking time varied and we had to cut some pieces to make them easiest to manage on the grill. The pork belly was almost entirely fat. The marinades was okay, but the spicy choices were not really spicy. Finally, service was very poor. The restaurant was not full. The staff was young and they seemed to be overwhelmed. I literally had to get up and track down a server to get our miso soup (that is included), place additional meat orders and ask for drink refills, and to get our check. They have hotpot and kbbq again (better quality than ever too) but also an all you can eat sushi menu now that is the best in town and includes unique offerings like ramen. The renovation is lovely, the new booths are comfortable and even the bathrooms are nicer. So here's to not really a new kid in town, but I should say the upgraded version of the old place. Probably a new owner since they changed the name to Lee's hotpot korean bbq. The place is right beside petland and big lot area. The parking is open so theres enough space for everyone. When you go inside, the area is split into 3 different section- hotpot, regular, and the grill station. And so we chose, grill. Now to the main event, something you need to consider. If your party wants to do the grill, everybody needs to do the eat all you can and its not cheap. It cost roughly $33 person it comes with drinks, side dishes and meats. If you choose to grill, everyone needs to do it or else you will be transfered to their regular station for regular entre. The food. Their side dishes comes in various ways- they have the traditional kimchi, seasoned beansprouts and radish, raw carrots, mushroom, cucumber, zucchini, brocolli, lettuce, spinach rice and other garnishment that complimented the entire meal. The only thing thats lacking is the other main korean side dishes such as beans, radish salad, and fishcakes. Now the meats. Theres different spices for every protein. They offer beef, shrimp, squid, fish tofu, pork, and chicken which part of $33. They also offer galbi which is the korean ribs however theres an upcharged of $9 per plate if you want to go big. They will ask you to pick your first 3 meats per table depends on how big your party is and then they will come back and ask you again. They only do 3 meats at a time to avoid food being wasted. It also says on their menu that theres a time limit of 2 hrs. but the waiter said they dont really follow that rule The protein they served were very tasty from beef to pork, the spices they used and how they marinated the meats definitely more than 24 hrs to make it as taste like your eating at a korean home. This place definitely brought authentic korean dishes in town. This place is better than Kalbi korean place around downtown area. If you want to just go on a date with your love ones or go big with your family and friends or any occasion really, their grilling station has a bigger space to fit everybody. Had to think really hard about this review. I have been blessed to have gone to a Korean owned and run Korean BBQ in Atlanta. I will correct this assumption if I find out more information. Even if it is, Lee's is trying but it misses the mark. First the tables are too small, not just the grill but the table it's self. I found my self running out of room with the raw meat and sides. Also getting up and down frequently to get the banchan I banged my knees on the edge of the table. Having a free for all on the banchan is ok and it does help me from having to flag down the girl for more lettuce wraps. She was at our table so frequently asking if we needed more meat I do not think it would have been an issue. The meat was good. The marinated spicy pork belly and the beef bulgogi were very good. I did feel the server was coming around a bit too frequently asking if we wanted more. We had barely cooked through one plate so it felt like she was rushing us. Again having bigger tables and or a bigger grill top. I can't imagine how uncomfortable it would have been to have more than the two of us sitting at the table. The Kimchi was good and most of the veggies on the side bar looked fresh. I fail to understand why they have their hotpot and grill separated. Most places I've seen it's either one or the other or in the best situation both existing at the same table. read more

This restaurant is a really groovy spot that caters to two different feels at the same time! On one side of the restaurant, they've got all you can eat hotpot and on the other, it's all you can eat Korean bbq. I went for the Korean bbq and it did NOT disappoint. I love that the banchan (side dishes) is a self service bar INCLUDING RICE AND LETTUCE FOR LETTUCE WRAPS! It's nice that I can grab as much kimchi as I'd like instead of flagging down a server constantly for more, like I've been used to. The meats are absolutely delicious and of good quality. I recommend the marinated pork belly, garlic pork belly and marinated galbi as those are my absolute favorites! The pork belly is really soooo good! The layout of the restaurant is nice, however as a pregnant woman the wood chairs are a bit uncomfortable so when the hubby and I go back, I'll be bringing a pillow! Next time I'll try their milk tea as reviews have been pretty good and I'll be trying out the hotpot side when it gets a little cooler out. Not sure how I missed this in the past. Lee's KBBQ Hot Pot has undergon a big renovation and BBQ setup. Went with family and the service was great, the food was amazing, and the five of us, overall had a great time! If you've been missing a casual setting of Korean BBQ, you now have a a place in Pensacola that can provide that. The hot pot, which I'll be coming back for, is on a conveyor belt of noodles in a bowl for your broth. As an additional bonus they have a sauce and sides bar. The food was fantastic and you're guaranteed a large amount of food, that you won't finish. My only complaint is my pictures are terrible as I started eating before I remembered to get a few pictures. I'll be back and snap better pictures in the near future. read more

I'm a little surprised to see all the 'less than stellar' reviews, because my family loves this place! We go for the bbq not the hot pot and there's never a wait. The vegetable bar is always fully stocked with a variety of options, including those amazing pickled radish! The sauce bar is decent, although we're not crazy about their yum yum sauce. The service is quick and there are a lot of meat options. We aren't crazy about the beef options, but the variety of short rib and pork belly options make up for that. You cook everything yourself, so make it how you like it. 1 pro tip - don't try to cook the rice (we burned it every time), just ask the server to bring you some fried rice. I took my friend and her sister here for her birthday, and while she was experienced with using a hot pot at home none of us had ever been to a restaurant that specialized in it. Our waitress was amazing. Super helpful, nice and friendly. I didn't get her name unfortunately. The food was fresh and delicious. The portions were reasonable and we sat next to the conveyor belt so if we needed anything that wasn't meat it was readily available. Between three of us, we still had two soup containers to take home and only did one round. The music was annoying. After about 40 or so minutes the playlist just repeated itself again and it was only poppy remixes. The place was super clean as well. We will definitely be back again. read more

The only thing I would suggest would be is the hot pot broth its a little bland no matter how much seasoning you request, other than that if your new to hot pot do not hesitate to ask how it works all though they may seem busy just ask because if you don't you'll wind up ordering too much and they are strict when it comes to waste! The atmosphere is pretty awesome they have a conveyor belt that displays all the vegetables for your Hotpot, and they have a small menu to choose the meat you desire! If you would like the stuff to go, they do charge for the containers, so be aware of that! Staff is great. They do a fabulous job. read more

You will have to cook your own food and pick what you would like to dump on the broth infront of you. Without question, the WORST food I have ever paid for. The cuts of meat served are very low quality, the pans where you cook your food are not clean or properly oiled, and it is $32 per person for the 2 hour limit all you can eat buffet! Normally 2 hours would be more than enough time to finish a decent meal, but our server seemed to be the only one working tables last Friday night causing hour long waits between orders. This is not her fault, but on management for having 3 hosts standing around doing nothing with one person running all the food. To top it all off, the food is not great, good, decent or even hardly edible. Myself and a friend ordered the same thing and received 2 completely different mystery meats. At first, i thought, because there is not much people, the food won't be good but the food was really good. My wife asked me to find a place to eat in Pensacola that we'd never been to so I did a search for new restaurants and found this place, so we went. We ordered the all you can eat for $33 each. We asked for brisket, marinated pork belly, and marinated short ribs. The short ribs were very fatty and I just wasn't fond of them at all. The pork belly was pretty good, and the brisket was really good. I'm not sure we did things exactly right, so I'm sure that my 3 rating has as much to do with our inexperience with Korean bar-b-que as it has to do with the food. The restaurant was very clean and the service was excellent. We agreed that we would probably not order the all you can eat option if we go back, but we'd order off of the menu instead. The only problem that I have with that is that brisket isn't available unless you purchase the all you can eat option. That's kind of a bummer. read more
