Egg rolls and crab rangoon were very stale. I should have know better, especially when the egg rolls are at my table in less than 1 minutes after ordering. I ordered the beef and broccoli and orange chicken double combo. Beef has a rubbery texture and non beef like taste. Orange chicken flavor not so good. The freshest item out of my entire meal was the broccoli. So out of everything that was served I ate all my broccoli with rice. I will not be coming back to this place. They would have gotten one star if they would have managed to botch the egg drop soup. I would recommend you drive an extra 5 to 10 minutes to Golden Wok for fresh food even though it is a little pricey. At least then you would get your money's worth read more

Wish i could give them a negative 2 for the stars, i have eaten here a couple times before and it was pretty cool. Today was a horror story . First off our tea was pretty much water and when we ordered our food it was out in less than 5 mins . Rice had no flavor and was mad cold . The delivery was fast the food was okay I got the general tao with fried rice. One thing I would say is that they need a small portion of the string beans because it only comes as an entree but really who needs that many string beans?! I have been ordering from here since 2000. Portions are great. Food is usually pretty good. The problem is the consistency and rotten food being served. I have had a number of occasions where some of the pork in my sweet and sour pork was rotten. Having worked in restaurants, I think they may be mixing the old pork with the new or perhaps not using dates on the food. One time I actually threw up due to the rotten pork. The fried rice is usually very good, but sometimes, when I order the quart of fried rice, it's like they just got the cheap stuff that goes on the dinner specials and added a little to it. Other times it is awesome. Love that they have fresh mushrooms and will add them to my rice though. They used to have a really rude older lady who would answer the phone, I got so mad at her one night that I told her to cancel the order. The only place open to get Chinese food nearby was Golden Wok. They had canned mushrooms. Egg rolls aren't that great, but okay I guess. I have tired the crab rangoon instead of egg rolls and they were extremely over-cooked and horrible. For the most part very good. They really need to work on not serving rotten food though and not serving the cheap fried rice when someone orders it as an entree. read more

We came in the evening for dinner and my wife order shrimp egg foo young and I order chicken almond ding, egg roll and egg drop soup. Both were well made dishes, good tasting and plenty that we had to take it home. Being Chinese, from Chicago, I had been here in SA for a year and finally found a real Chinese Rest. that cooks the food the right way with the right ingredients. Only complaint I have is the sweet and sour sauce for the egg roll was not made made correctly or it was mass produced and shipped in jars. It usually is blended from peaches and water to give it a nice taste. The place is very nice and clean. The service was great and the price was very reasonable for the amount of food. I have been coming here for years, but tonight truly was puzzling and made me want to reconsider coming back. We phoned in our pickup order, got confirmation from the cashier, and then were told to arrive in 15 minutes. Chinese restaurant located very close to the medical center. Uses a TON of MSG - I'm typically fine w/ MSG, but this place REALLY overloads the dishes. Interestingly enough they have a Chinese menu and can make a few, more "authentic" dishes, albeit badly. Lots of filler in their dishes. The therapists where I go say they love this place, but my delivery order was very disappointing the other day. I did a hot&sour, pupu platter, and beef and broccoli with fried rice. The hot&sour was bland with no bite to it, the eggrolls were this tough unfresh/oversteamed chewy, the crab rangoons were way overcooked. Beef and broc was okay, and the ribs and the skewers in the pupu platter were excellent. I may give this one more try but at this point would not recommend. read more

My son and I ate during lunch. The food and service were great. The restaurant was clean and attractive with lots of windows. We were seated immediately, and were offered out drinks.
