This place can be a little bit of a wait so don't be surprised if there is a line! The food her is fantastic I love every dish I ever had and the portions are huge! I love in traditional dishes like green curry they give you the option to have a choice of protein such as crispy pork belly. Definitely do the crispy pork belly you will not be disappointed. The cocktail menu is extensive and delicious. They have certain drinks that are service inside of the fruit which is a fun touch. The decor is cute very island floral inspired and the bathrooms have always been clean, which is a plus in the city!

price - $25 including tax and tip food - 4/5 service - 5/5 ambiance - 4/5 I ordered the chicken pad see ew lunch special and it came with spring roll salad, edamame, 2 slices of orange and a complementary drink of the day called sunset lemonade. the food was pretty good considering that the lunch menu price was $15.95 for chicken pad see ew. [[HIGHLIGHT]]the service and ambiance were both amazing as well![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]on the contrary, there was no air conditioner when I went in 100 degrees weather so sitting indoors with only a fan made me feel a bit uncomfortable.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] besides that, I think if you check out the restaurant when it's much cooler, you would definitely have a better experience! definitely check this place out when you get the chance!

Had dinner at Lemongrass on Court St in Brooklyn with my little one. Ordered the crab fried rice--on its own it was nothing special, but once I mixed it with the sauce on the side, the flavor really came through. What worked well for me as a parent: I could scoop out a plain portion for my kid first, then mix the sauce into the rest. One dish, two ways. The clam soup was quite savory, no fishy taste, and the clams were tender. The broth had that Thai-style sourness that wakes up your appetite. The shrimp the server brought out was crispy with a creamy sweet glaze--enjoyable to eat. The short rib was tender and well seasoned. Also tried two non-alcoholic drinks--the mulberry one leaned more fruity and tart, while the rose one had a noticeable floral aroma. Neither was overly sweet; both were refreshing. Overall a comfortable meal, the kind of place I'd go back to.

I loved everything about this restaurant! We love Thai food and we're so excited to try this Brooklyn Thai restaurant. The staff were so great and helped us order some amazing dishes. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor is so cute with lemons everywhere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] All the food was amazing! We didn't have anything that wasn't delicious. Can't wait to go back soon!

Haven't been here in years! But last Sunday I decided to stop in around 8pm to grab a bite. It was so packed when we arrived, I didn't think we were going to get a table but luckily we were able to snag a table right away since it was just 2 of us. The service was good, nothing too spectacular or overly friendly but it was quick and efficient. We had a young lady that was training, so she was being guided by someone else but she did a good job. Drinks: w head the cha-ba and the passion fruit margarita. The cha-ba was a big miss but the passion fruit margarita was great! Food: we had the shrimp roll to start. It came out piping hot and was flavorful and the sweet chili sauce complimented it well. For entrees we had the pad Thai noodle with chicken and the pineapple fried rice with chicken and shrimp. Both dishes came out hot and fresh. The pineapple fried rice was a big serving and it was very good! The pad Thai serving was more on the smaller side. I wish I would've asked if they could make it spicy because I requested chili oil after to add to it but they didn't have. Spice aside, the flavors were great!

Lemongrass Brooklyn never disappoints in their detailed presentations!!! Their summer cocktails served inside fresh fruit were such a fun touch and felt like we were on vacation. The Watermelon Margarita was refreshing and the Piña Colada was the perfect tropical treat. We started with the Lychee Shrimp and the Thai Grilled Beef salad, both packed with flavor to kick off the meal. For our mains, my favorite order was the Whole Fried Branzino with spicy choo chee curry on the side. My go-to order stole the show as it was crispy, tender, and spicy. The Khao Moo Dang my friends mentioned was both tasty satisfying. The Brooklyn Steak came sizzling and was juicy and cooked perfectly Of course, we couldn't leave without dessert. The Mango Sticky rice was the perfect ending to our Monday

I came here for dinner with my family. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The decor was very colorful and aesthetic.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We ordered the BBQ beef ribs, the lemongrass pork chop, and the char siu and crab over dry egg noodles. All the dishes tasted really sweet for some reason especially the char siu. The portions were large though. Service was friendly and fast. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I think this place seems to be focused more on being trendy than having good food so if you care more about atmosphere, this is the place for you.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

They sure can pack a lot of people into a small space! So don't go here if you don't like crowds! Service was super quick though. I appreciate how quickly everything was brought out. Drinks were fine, a little under sweetened. Food was good, small portions than typical for Thai, but you could tell these dishes were made with higher quality ingredients (the fried rice didn't taste so oily)! Great spot for date night!

Golden crispy wontons = 10/10 literally so good we got chicken Udon ke maw - 9.5/10 very good aswell nothing to complain about but got full very fast Basil fried rice -8.8/10 maybe if I make it extra spicey it would have more savory taste to it and the shrimp tasted plain they had no juicy savory taste to it the one from to be tha the shrimps have a savory juicy taste these ones didn't and I didn't like that - A Lychee ice tea- 10/10 sweet tasted just like lychee no flaws rlly Mango lemonade - 9/10 - A [[HIGHLIGHT]]The service was OK. I feel like the people were moving a bit weird but the ambience was perfect.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

I was taken here on a surprise first date. Apparently, this establishment is well known on TikTok (I don't use TikTok). [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is beautiful. Very quaint place with great food.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] This was also my first time trying Thai food and it didn't disappoint. The staff is kind and the food came out rather quickly even though they were busy. We had missed our reservation time but they were able to accommodate us anyway. I got the basil fried rice (I heard this is a staple) with shrimp and a Thai tea. I liked everything. The food was so flavorful. If you're unsure , Go!

Really good. The service was pretty good and the food was delicious. Definitely would come back for some authentic Thai food. Had a lot of fun and it was nice just sitting outside. The decor was great and the staff was really nice.

Our group of 4 started with a bottle of Pinot Grigio and a few appetizers to share, namely: Som tum papaya salad and dumplings curry. For the main entree, my eyes caught the attention of clay pot mix-fried rice with shrimp, chicken, sweet sausage, and my partner chose shrimp pad thai. Nothing really stood out with the dishes; I found it to be a bit Americanized, having eaten in so many Thai restaurants around New York City. Overall, we enjoyed our dinner here; our food came in timely fashion, and the customer service is good as well, but it's probably not your place if you are seeking a more authentic Thai-style cooking.

Every single dish was fantastic and came with little chili sauces or garnishes or spicy sauce etc which brought the dishes together beautifully. The hostess was extremely friendly and kind and gave her recommendation as well. She said takeout would be 15 minutes (it would be hour long wait to dine in at 8pm on a Thursday night). They were absolutely packed despite the time. We ordered the pad see ew with shrimp, the crab fried rice (amazing), the Pak Mor which is a sweet and savory rice roll that comes with coconut cream dipping sauce (drool worthy), and last but not least the Kao Tom Haeng which also comes with a tasty broth on the side. I'd say that the pad see ew was the weakest dish of what we ordered but it was still tasty. I think it would have been nicer with a different protein, perhaps chicken or tofu. My friends and I have never dined in but the ambience looks very warm and inviting. If you love delicious and flavorful food then this is the place for you! Look no further!! Highly recommend!!!! The pork jowl wasn't as crispy as I expected but it was still flavorful and the portion size was huge, considering how it was an appetizer. The sweet fruit with the savory fish worked way better than I expected. · Pineapple Fried Rice - came with shrimp, nice wok aroma, and that perfect sweet-tangy pineapple kick. · Pineapple Lychee Crispy Duck (GF) - duck skin was nice and crispy, and the coconut-based sauce with lychee and pineapple kept it from feeling heavy or greasy. · Branzino Chili Lime (GF) - came out piping hot, classic Thai-style sour broth that paired perfectly with the fish. No fishy taste at all, and the texture was tender. Even the drinks and dessert weren't overly sweet, which was a pleasant surprise. Lunch in Brooklyn during in-between meetings of my professional duties of a Wednesday afternoon…read moresummons Thai cuisine. Pad Kee Mao (aka Drunken Noodles), chicken $15.00 Stir-fried flat rice noodle, bamboo shoots, garlic, basil, fresh chili, onion, carrot, string bean, bell pepper, long hot chili The flat rice noodle quantity was sufficient, but minimal and there were too much onion, insufficient string bean, two paucity pieces of carrot. I dislike bamboo shoot which is not a standard ingredient for this particular entrée. I think the bamboo shoot tainted this entrée. I am a traditionalist conservative which bean sprouts is a good substitute variation for bamboo shoot vegetable including string bean. This entrée is my favorite default and as a caveat, if any Thai restaurant or cafe do not offer on their menu I refuse entry to patronize. This entrée enticed my interest and embedded the lunch meal menu for the reasonable price. I personally despise and do not consume spicy hot foods, but occasionally consume mild or very mild in the smallest measurement of the Scoville scale which I specifically requested, but received medium hot spicy. The waitress forewarned me the intense heat level on the Scoville scale as Thai cultural spicy with two or more bird's eye chilies for a high level of spiciness. The spiciness of chili peppers were, in my opinion, medium spicy. Despite the intense medium heat spiciness, the stir-fried noodles lacked flavor with, tender chicken, minimal vegetables, and Thai basil in a bland taste. I wish I chosen shrimp as the protein. Pad Kee Mao sustained my hunger pangs and ate my fill. When eating Thai intense heat spicy foods, I visualize to think of the TV segment "Niall Horan & James Corden Take On Hot Wings" on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" in March, 2020. High heat spicy foods! Thai ice tea, large $3.00 This was a delight and neutralized the heat spiciness because it contains milk. It was served chilled in a large highball glass. Samyan is a Thai cafe located in Clinton Hill, Brooklyn, NYC and accessible via MTA NYC Transit C local train at Clinton-Washington subway station. This cafe is a independently owned and operated, thankfully. The waitress did check-in with me during my meal for attentive customer service. The atmospheric conditions were a simple small dine-in cafe. There were many paintings, portraits hanging on their walls of white subway tiles. Gold metallic metal chopsticks and fork are provided. If utensils are gold then the interior cafe should contain these "gaudy" feature extensive gold elements, including gilded moldings and furniture. Peony rose are very simply and made pretty table centerpiece decorations. Takeout menu and business cards are available for grabs. I did received my sales receipt. At the bottom of the sales receipt there is a suggested gratuity in intervals of 18%, 20% and 22% where customers do not have to perform math calculation. I paid $23.00 in cash as the waitress' informative knowledge of the ingredients and preparation of the heat level on the Scoville scale.

First off the most delicious group of appetizers. I wished their potions size were more decent. It's pricey for what is offered. Since curries are my favorite I tired those entrees first. Love the masala and green. Like them so tried with different types of proteins. My only draw back to this place or gets too rowdy at times. Also the place is too small . They need to expand so there more movement around. I would come back during the lunch hours to try the noodles and rice. I've seen come out to the kitchen is pretty tempting. If you want to socialize mingle with the crowds of the locals come after 6pm.

I'd never managed to get a reservation at Ugly Baby, but we did make it to Hungry Thirsty and I'm…read morevery glad we did. Service was excellent from the start. My partner was running late, and even though the place is clearly very popular right now, they still accommodated us with a table. The staff explained every unfamiliar dish we asked about, always with a smile. I usually avoid the standard NYC Thai restaurant lineup of pad thai + generic curry situations and look for places that feel more regional and authentic. The menu here had a bunch of dishes I didn't recognize, which immediately made me excited. They even have a spice guide though the icons don't necessarily mean increasing spice levels. As I understood it, different symbols represent different types of heat. Three chili emojis and three meteor emojis may be equally spicy, but they hit differently. They recommended not to order the pad krapow nuer, and honestly, fair enough. Instead, we got the chicken khao soi, which was far better than versions I've had elsewhere - deeply flavorful, spicy, rich with umami. My partner was crying. I, meanwhile, was at "this is perfect and I'm having a great time." One Huge chunk of chicken cooked exactly right. Mix everything thoroughly before eating. Then came the kua kling which arrived with another warning. That dish became my personal challenge to impress the server, and apparently I succeeded because now they've promised that next time they won't discourage me from ordering the nuer. They kept refilling cabbage and cucumber for us to cool down from the heat. The kua kling itself was incredible. That dry curry heat was everything. It builds slowly, then suddenly punches you in the face - but alongside all that spice is an insane amount of flavor. They also recommended to order a non-spicy side dish to have a balanced meal and spice level, but we skipped it because it would've been too much food. Honestly, this is the kind of place where going with at least four people is ideal so you can try more dishes and balance the spice levels. And if you're unsure what to order, trust the servers - their recommendations were spot on. Also: really great ciders and beers. We were really happy with both choices. Overall, even though it's far from the city for me, I'd absolutely go back.

It's a bit pricey, but damn the food is good here! Hungry Thirsty is not your regular Thai spot,…read morebut with more traditional flavors that truly pack a punch in spice. The restaurant is tiny, so be sure to make a reservation. As a lover of spicy food, the spiciness in the dishes really brought out such a great flavor. Since my friend didn't eat as spicy, we found a happy medium getting just slightly spicy dishes which were all fantastic. We ordered the Khao Soi ($33) and Pla Tod Nam Pla ($40). The khao soi wasn't too spicy, especially since the broth has a creaminess and the spicies are on the side before mixing, which you can exclude. The chicken was so tender, but did come with bone so this can be trickier to share. Then the pla tod really surprised me, but I can definitely see why it's the best seller. It is a fried branzino with a marinated fish sauce which goes so nicely with all the crunch. There are a few remaining pieces of bone, so be careful. The fish had a nice balance of fish meat and crunchy skin. If you're looking for a unique Thai spot, this is it. Also, perfect spot for spicy lovers too. They also offer a huge selection of alcohol.

Wait staff was attentive to dietary needs, exemptions and ensured our request was followed to a T. Ordered some Khao Kriab Pak Mor (dumplings) to start along with a pair of mocktails. And an order of Khao Na Ped (smoked vegan duck) and Ginger Chicken (vegan). All served well with good portion. What I personally liked is the 2 dishes took a bit, not slow or long but IMHO taking a little bit always seems it was cared for in prep. Who knows just my thing. The staff has a challenge to accommodate outdoor seating as the bldg doesn't have an inside/back door for them and they must carry food out the front door, down the sidewalk and into the garden area. That's tough but they do it with grace. The seating was okay since it's early enough but bugs showed up - no surprise - not a complaint just the reality of life and online typing in case anyone is considering it and is more sensitive to the same.

The meat was incredibly tender and literally fell off the bone. It could have used a punch more of seasoning, but the texture was perfect. Thai Ice Tea (4.75/5): Perfectly balanced, creamy and delicious without being overly sweet Beef Shank Massaman (4/5): Solid choice; the beef was well-cooked and the curry was flavorful. Pad See Ew Chicken (4/5): Good, though it leaned a bit sweeter than the traditional savory profile. Gai Tod Wings & Pad Thai (3.75/5): The wings were okay but felt slightly overcooked. The Pad Thai was also on the sweeter side, though my friend really enjoyed it. Pla Neung Manow (3.75/5): Usually my favorite, but this version was a bit overcooked and the broth was blander than expected Thai Dumplings (2.75/5): Be warned if you aren't a fan of cilantro! The flavor was overpowering and unexpected
