It's a very small place but you can easily find seats as a lot of people come in, grab a slice, quickly eat it and head out. You can order a slice only from whatever they have ready, but they have about 8 kinds to pick from. I got the WILD MUSHROOM PIZZA ($5) and it was amazing! Pizza here is palatable, though mediocrity is a prime ingredient in the pizza slices. They have tons of different pizza toppings mixings. I got some cheese pizza with alfredo sauce and other types of cheeses all together. It was yummy but I did not even taste the alfredo sauce whatsoever! I was a bit bummed about that. Although the price and selection is good. I was not as impressed with the pizza itself. It was delicious no doubt. I haven't had many bad pizzas. But it also wasn't amazing where I will remember how it tasted. It just simply wasn't as memorable. Good but not superb! My favorite pizza ever! I used to come here about once a week a couple years ago and haven't been as recently even though I live much closer now. Decided to go last night for a quick bite and to fulfill a craving. The salad pizza is an obvious favorite. For 4.75 a slice you get a huge piece topped with fresh lettuce, feta, some lemony dressing, tomatoes, and huge chunks of avocado. They probably put half of an avocado on one slice alone. Last night I had one I haven't tried before and I'm not sure of the name, but it had pineapple, bell peppers, ham, and jalapenos and it actually is my new favorite. Dipped in the spicy ranch......so good. Spicy chicken, Gypsy Pie, Athens, and BBQ chicken are all also very good. You really can't go wrong with whatever slice you choose, they deliver too! I think you can get an XL for like $30? It may seem like a lot but that could easily feed 5 people. They told me 3 minutes. 20 minutes later I had to ask about my order. They told me 7 minutes after searching in the back for the ticket. 10 minutes later it finally arrives AFTER someone who ordered after me. The mixed seed crust was a pleasant surprise, however the crust itself was lacking the chew and crunch of a nice thin crust and seemed more on the soggy side. I originally intended to give this small pizza joint a better rating and am unable to due to the horrible service that was received. When asked for a certain pizza, they kept responding "no". Instead of stating what options were available or guiding us to a decision, they let us wonder through the board of options (that they were apparently out of on a Friday night at 6) until we just chose cheese as one of the other slices. A truly unique slice can be had here, with their bagel crust and optional salad topping. Full Course: Abbot's Pizza Company definitely does things differently than everyone else. Part of what makes Abbot's Pizza unique is their bagel crust. Yeah, it's a white and black sesame seed bagel on the end of the pizza. The crust can be pretty heavy to eat if you don't take with you some of their special sauce, which might be one of the best sauces I've ever tasted. It's some kind of magical mustard-based spicy sauce, and is the perfect complement to their great pizza (also, as far as I know it has no name, you just ask for some of "the sauce" and they know what you're talking about. If you get a slice, you can also get a salad thrown on top for another buck. Totally worth doing even if you're like me and not really a salad person, the salad is very lightly dressed and comes with a few thin slices of avocado. Not to mention the pizza itself is pretty great. I always order the Spicy Chicken, and the chicken is always juicy and abundant on the slice. Their menu offers the usual options you'd expect, make-your-own, specialty slice, drinks, sides, blah blah blah. I am a regular customer of Abbot's Pizza, and I always go with the specialty slices. They're great, and they have like 15 different specialty pizzas to choose from. You can get a specialty slice with salad on top for just over 5 bucks, and that's pretty much an entire meal. My pictures are an accurate representation of what you get. This pizza is big and messy, it's great. You can't really tell, but there is definitely a triangular-shaped slice of pizza under that mountain of salad. Again, all that is about 5 bucks. I would rate this place a 5 out of 5 not because the pizza is gonna change your life or anything, but considering the value and quality, it's undeniably great. At $5 a slice, it's kinda pricy, but the way I figure it, you're in the Abbot Kinney area, so what isn't overpriced, ya know? The crust was nice and crispy, the vegetables on top were very fresh... not soggy as you might expect them to be. Awesome. I had another slice too (I forgot which one it was, but I uploaded a photo of it), and I loved it. I came with a big group of friends (but we couldn't really eat there because of lack of seating), and everyone loved the pizza they got. Some of my boys and I woulda gone back for another slice of pizza, but the girls we were with wanted to go across the street for Pinkberry, so we just followed them so we wouldn't seem like a bunch of fatsos. I can't believe I haven't reviewed Abbot's yet! I've been coming here for longer than I care to admit once my brother introduced me to his local pizza place when he lived in Venice. What makes APC unique are the great variety of toppings (both your standard types, and some more upscale options), and the famous bagel crust. It's a great place to grab a slice, when you don't want a whole pizza. My typical slices are the goat cheese or the wild mushroom, but I've sampled several of the others along the way and never been disappointed. When you order a slice, the team slips it back into the pizza over before handing you a piping hot piece. The crust is NY style--nice and thin for folding and eating. The real bagel flavor comes out when you hit the crust. Yum. It probably balances out to 3.5 if you dock points for the ambiance: There are two narrow counters with a handful of stools lining the two sides, but it's not really a place to sit back and chill. Eat outside or take it to go are your best bets. But the pizza keeps me coming back for more. read more

I like the feel of this joint. It's super small and hot inside on a summer night, which reminds me of places back east. But, the memory stops there. This place serves the basic cheese or pepperoni pie upon request and hosts a handful of more gourmet options. In line with price increases over my life, this place will set you back a fairly pretty penny for your pie. But, they are paying rent on Abbot Kinney, so one cannot complain too much, especially if they want relatively decent pizza with good ingredients. That said, I would NOT ever again order a slice from here. The slices are blah and dry and terrible in comparison to the fresh-outta-the-oven pie. My boyfriend "LOVES the F" outta Abbot's Gluten Free Salad Pizza! I went to go visit my mom in Santa Monica, and I knew that my boyfriend would be sorely disappointed if I got home, to Altadena, after having been on the west side, without stopping for this mouthwatering pie; especially since he had been working all day on a strenuous project. So I went even further I got him one, I got me one trying their Hot Pepper crust & I ordered a Wild Mushroom Calzone, (because he also has a Calzone thing...) which I immediately came home, wrapped each of the 3 pieces in tin foil & an airtight ziplock bag & stuck in the freezer. Let me tell you! If you want to have the best meal ever, you gotta try this pie! My boyfriend went NUTS & although we are all social distancing & masking up in these crazy times you can love & appreciate being alive with this pizza! Abso-F'in-loutley the best! My night ended with a jacuzzi-bath & the best tummy Love Fest ever!
