    Vegan Desserts
    Lo B.

A little out of the way, but so worth the stop if you're around! Their vegan food and desserts are super clean, fresh, and made with minimal ingredients. I love their AZ Sunrise smoothie--it even comes with cute fruit on top. I tried the macrobiotic salad bowl; it was a bit bland and could use more of the yellow dressing, but it was filling. Now their dessert section is next-level--rich, decadent, and dense, so whatever you pick will be indulgent. Definitely a five-star spot for thoughtful vegan fuel. Wish I lived closer! 050425

I have not been able to have gluten for many years, and as of a year ago or so - I discovered dairy makes me sick as well. It can be very challenging to find restaurants that have foods available that I can have, but Linden Organic hits all of the marks! Their food is always amazing, the breastfast burritos are a perfect way to start your mornings! The service there is always kind and helpful when asking about the foods they're serving that day in a display case. It's always a very calm and peaceful environment to be in. I've never been inside and felt hurried/rushed, or overwhelmed by other customers. It truly is a wonderful spot for both gluten and dairy allergies, the best part being that you know you won't have a risk of cross-contamination. :)

The tuna sandwich is great. It has a potato base as the tuna and is yummy. The store is nice and quaint with two tables inside and two tables outside. Lots of desserts to try after you enjoy your sandwich. The service is kind and helpful.

10/10 would recommend. It tastes just like a mint chip milkshake! Vibes are immaculate.

I discovered Linden Organic while I was pregnant and was searching for somewhere that promoted healthy organic food and drinks - I'm a huge fan! I like variety & am slowly trying all the smoothies on their menu; my favorites so far are the AZ Sunrise & PB & J. I've tried their breakfast burrito, cheesecake, & double chocolate protein muffin - everything so far has tasted delicious! Their staff is incredibly kind & they have always greeted me with a smile. It's a clean & cozy little smoothie shop & I love that they are open earlier now at 7am so I can grab something on the way to work. Highly recommend for any expecting mamas - their nutritious organic smoothies were good for baby and helped me stay hydrated during our extra hot triple digit summers!

Mindful Matcha, Chocolate Donut, Snickers Bar

I stopped by Linden Organic because they are an all organic, vegan, gluten-free, and refined sugar-free cafe and I've wanted to check them out for awhile now. There are a couple tables inside (2) but it's more of a grab and go. They have a lot of good stuff - including coffee (but I already had mine this morning) so I opted for the: Mindful Matcha Smoothie Chocolate donut Snickers bar Tasty stuff and friendly.

Delicious! Little pricy but great clean and healthy ingredients. Great post hike snack!

Very welcoming folks and a wonderful variety of delicious plant-based breakfast foods, smoothies, bowls, espresso and tea.

What a fun place! The menu is a lot to take in, so I suggest looking beforehand so you have an idea of what you want. The place is quaint, with a few small tables inside to sit down and eat. We went with the Maca bowl (which is easily shareable between 2-4 people), snickers bar, vegan tuna sandwich and their Chickpea salad (in their to go section). I also got their matcha latte with almond milk. Everything was awesome and the owner was super kind and welcoming. The vegan tuna sandwich is clearly the superstar and honestly, a piece of art. I will be thinking about that sandwich for a while, it's so good.

    Heirloom Tomato Toast
    Ali B.

Love a good vegan spot, especially ones with healthy/organic food! This is just a small place, you can order stuff to be made or some premade options. I had a hard time deciding between the avocado toast or the heirloom tomato toast, but I get avocado toast all the time so I went for the heirloom tomato toast! It had cashew cheese on it, micro greens, red onion, and a lemon to squeeze. Food came out in a reasonable time, no complaints for service. The food was so so incredibly fresh. YUM! Was refreshing. Only complaint was that it was really expensive but I guess that makes sense for an organic place. Would def stop by again.

Hidden in the southwest plaza, is a cute vegan spot that serves baked treats, smoothies, food, and of course açaís bowls. I got the original acai bowl with came in one size only and probably be shared with at least two people. Nicely presented, the base had plenty of unsweetened acai, grain fee granola (a bit hard but let it sit in the acai to soften up), fresh strawberries, bananas, 2 thin slices of green apple, cocoa nibs, and topped with coconut shavings. Everything was top notch! Recommended the acai bowls here. Looking forward to trying other ones on the menu. Plenty of parking but can get busy. Tables were clean, they do have a restroom for customers, and the staff were great.

    Black Forest Smoothie

I really love the smoothies here! Everything is gluten free and is labeled as far as soy and dairy. I appreciate that. Small shop with good service. It is on the pricey side but it's to be expected for the quality of ingredients. I love the Black Forest and mermaid smoothies, peanut butter oat bar and "tuna."

The bathroom and entire establishment if very modern and sophisticated while maintaining a comfortable casual atmosphere. The service was wonderful, very attentive. I do wish I could remember the name of our server, but she really was great. And the hostess did a wonderful job of seating us with four under four and four adults. The patio seating was surprisingly comfortable for how hot it's been outside. The food was good. A fun and impressive cocktail menu, however since I don't drink I had the privilege of gaining my calories in some great appetizers. (BACON WRAPPED DATES) The kids breakfast was simple, but my kids complained they didn't like the eggs and potatoes because they tasted like nothing, and they were right. So for other kids it's might be just right for them, too, however if your kids have tastebuds, the sweet treats and meatballs do the trick (very garlicky meatballs for me) It was lovely and fun to visit the market afterwards too.

I ordered the Asian salad, and it was absolutely delicious. It was packed with flavor, fresh, and the portion size was just right. The restaurant itself is huge, with plenty of seating and a spacious, comfortable atmosphere. The service was great as well. Everyone was friendly, attentive, and made us feel welcome throughout our visit. My only real criticism is that the menu felt a bit limited, especially for vegetarians. There weren't many vegetarian options available, which could make it difficult for some people to find something that appeals to them. That said, the food was great, the service was excellent, the pricing was fair, and the overall experience was very enjoyable. I would definitely return the next time I'm in Arizona.

My son had ordered food from here as takeout last year. The food taste was interesting, though, I really like the cheese dip for the pretzel bites. The bites were pretty big. Lots of tables at this location, a bit warm. But our party of 14 was easily accommodated. Our daughter chose this place and it was quite loud. My husband and I are quiet people, so if we were to choose again, probably not here because of the loudness and all the TVs all over the place. But for those who like it loud, TVs and do not mind the prices on the menu, have at it. I don't remember our server's name. If she told us, I couldn't hear what she said. She was alright. Honestly, I had a hard time hearing even my son who sat next to me, and hearing my sister who sat one seat over in front of me, I couldn't hear what she was saying. Loudness is an issue for me and I do not have hearing issues. Our bill with tip came to over $700+. That was the most expensive lunch we've ever spent for our party of 14. Typically we're in the $400-500 range. But it was a special occasion. My husband and son got the 36 hr ribs. My husband really loved them. My son said it was okay. I didn't ask my brother and BIL who also got the same dish. I know my BIL was unhappy that he didn't get the side he requested and when they gave it to him (asparagus, I think), it was cold and he wasn't pleased about this. I got the hub burger and it was okay. There was a lot on the burger, but the patty itself, didn't have that much flavor. Some of the "Starters" or appetizers things were salted too much, but the burger did not taste like it had any salt. I had eaten too many starters so when my food came, I wasn't very hungry and took most of it home and ate for dinner another night. My husband and son do not like coleslaw and I ate theirs. THIS I really liked and tasted much better than KFC. I loved the sweetness and that the cabbage was shredded bigger than KFC. The pretzel bites were good. We got wings, and they were so-so. The roasted brussel sprouts were too salty. The deviled eggs were okay, but pricey for 2.5 eggs, which I do pay at Trader Joe's for organic free range pasturized eggs I could've gotten over 2 dozens. But, yes, I pay for the service and ambiance. I really thought there would be more than 5 halves for the deviled eggs. We got the nachos and they were okay. The melted cheese sauce was the best part. My mom got the fish and chips and she seemed to pick at it. She didn't want to take home, so it must not have been that good because she almost always takes a doggy bag home. My sister had the salmon and it was in a huge bowl and didn't look to be that much food. It was pricey. One of my SILs got something I didn't recognize and she said it was okay. No one I could tell was over the moon with the taste of the food and I heard the word "interesting" quite a bit. It's not that it tasted bad, but it didn't really taste good good. You know what I mean? I did bring a special order cake I got at Nothing Bundt Cakes in Gilbert. I asked Culinary Dropout if we could borrow a cake cutter. They didn't have one. Weird. This was a Red Velvet cake and this was absolutely divine. It was moist. The frosting was some sort of yummy cream cheese frosting. The cake was perfectly sized for our party of 14. The cake was the best part of our meal and it didn't come from Culinary Dropout. I would pay this much for a meal at Roy's for lunch for this sized party, but alas, all the Roy's in the valley are closed down. So sad. I'm not saying this place is bad or the food tastes bad. It's okay and pricey. If the food was great or amazing, we don't mind pricey. We have paid over $1K for meals for our big party, and happily do so when the food is equivalent to the price.

There was only one other couple in the restaurant . I noticed to go orders and DoorDash orders were being picked up while we were waiting for our orders. By the time we left, there was a line. It didn't take very long for our orders to be prepared. It was promptly delivered to our table. The first thing I noticed was the lack of meat in my Berliner. It didn't come close to the amount of meat I saw in several photos on Yelp. After I bit into my wrap, all I could taste were the vegetables. It took a few bites before I tasted just a hint of meat. This was very disappointing. I was meat hungry and I wanted something healthy with a good portion of meat. I wasn't getting it here. A total letdown! The first thing my wife commented on her Street Car donor was how dry it was. Where was the sauce? She had to ask for tzatziki sauce. I took a bite of hers and at least she had more meat than I had. She told me I could have her other half. She was impressed to say the least! Did we come on an off day? Was there someone new in the back?
