What an amazing little gem of a juicery! @karmaappleaz popped up on my Instagram feed, and I immediately went on to Yelp, but was surprised they were not on Yelp yet! It looks like they just opened a few months ago, so they are pretty new. I have only positive things to say about this place. I drove from Old Town Scottsdale because I saw the mermaid smoothie bowl in an Instagram post and was intrigued because of the blue color, which is a result of the E3Live Spirulina that is added to the smoothie bowl. I regularly make my own smoothie bowls at home, but I wanted to be treated, so I decided to try Karma Apple. KAJ has bottled juices, smoothies, smoothie bowls, chia puddings, bars, coconut matcha tarts, and more! They only use all organic and vegan ingredients. They will make any smoothie into a smoothie bowl for $2 extra and they also sell juice cleanses which are $60 and come with 5 juices, 1 mylk, and 1 immunity shot. Smoothie Bowl: *Mermaid Smoothie Bowl* E3Live Spirulina gives it the blue color, blended passionfruit and banana, topped with pineapple slice, strawberries, coconut flakes, and sliced bananas, and a cute little umbrella completes the island-mermaidy bowl. I had the mint chip smoothie bowl and it was sooo delicious! Beautiful presentation too. Love that everything is organic, raw, vegan and gluten free here. This isn't Jamba Juice, they use high quality superfood ingredients. It's pricier than other juice and smoothie shops, but those places don't use the same ingredients. They also carry Canyon Coffee which is my all time favorite coffee brand. Highly recommend! read more

The staff here is top notch! Anisa checked on us multiple times to see if there was anything else we needed and was so kind, and even replaced the cheesecake we got that we didn't realize would melt sitting outside chatting for an hour! Food was tasty, beautiful, and pure ingredients. Only recommendation is making the bowl slightly smaller (maybe 20oz) as it was difficult to eat that much without the last part being pretty melted. We had the chickpea tuna sandwich & the avocado toast. For dessert we shared the monthly special smoothie. It was called the heart beet...for Valentines . We also shared the P, B & J smoothie. My absolute favorite place! They're expensive so I don't come as often as I would like to. I usually get the avocado toast but I most recently tried the heirloom tomato toast and WOW it was bursting with flavor! I don't know how they do it but they manage to put the right amount of seasoning on the avocado toast and tomato toast EVERY SINGLE TIME and it's delectable. Thoroughly impressed. You really can't screw up smoothie bowls in my mind but some are way better than others, which I've seen Karma Apple Juices display. They are full of excellent ingredients, stuff I keep in my pantry and fridge and even beyond that. They have great combinations, which I plan on trying them all little by little but the chocolate bowl was outstanding. I love the attention to detail: the edible flower petal as a topping decor and the homemade buckwheat granola are some examples. They took the time to make gluten free granola which is, by the way, the most awesome crunch when you spoon in to your amazing bowl! Now here's my disclaimer. This would not be a regular thing for me to consume, there's is just too much (albeit naturally occurring, not added) sugar in these giant bowls, but if I am craving a treat, this is galaxies better than whatever sweet junk I can get at Dairy Queen or Cold Stone.. Not that that's where I go but just clarifying this is a treat bowl, coincidentally full of so many beneficial and Beautiful things you might be inclined to think it is healthy enough not to be.. I even had them make a snickers cake for my 2 months that I went raw vegan. This place is not cheap, but the quality is great. I absolutely love the concept of a raw eatery, and I think for being one of very few of its kind Karma Apple could be a fantastic place. But I believe they are taking advantage of that fact and charging way to much money for what is being sold there. As a long-time fruitarian and raw eater, I am very aware that this diet and the ingredients are VERY inexpensive, especially so when purchase in bulk as I am sure they are doing. So knowing that, I have a very hard time coming to terms with the fact that I just paid almost $15 for this smoothie that I would guess is maybe 12 ounces, and it's not even full. I love the concept, I think the food here tastes great, and looks beautiful, and I really wish there were more little places like this out there.
