The staff are very friendly they greet you as you enter they ask if you have ever been to poke king before and will gladly help if you are trying for the first time. I ordered a regular bowl with white rice, green onion, shrimp and salmon as my protein. I had unagi sauce, seaweed salad, edamame, cucumber, fried shallots and furake on top. Its a Hawaiian poke fast food sort of restaurant. My favorite dish is their Kalbi! I'm not a big fan of the mac & cheese side dish but that's just me. It takes a while to get the food but I guess that's a good sign since it means it's fresh right? It's a fast food restaurant so don't expect much for the ambience. Finally made it to Loco Ono for lunch today! We loved it! I tried the Chicken Katsu with Curry (12.95) - a twist on the classic island dish, panko-breaded, deep fried chicken thighs served on a bed of Japanese curry and two scoops of white rice and a side of one of the best mac salad's I've had! Bella had the Kids Chicken Katsu (6.95) - a smaller portion of the same chicken thighs over a white rice. My girl is super picky, but she loved this! DELICIOUS! Ordered Loco Ono online for takeout for lunch & it was so good! The quality, flavor of the food & portion sizes were great! At first I thought the Kalbi was a little pricey but then when I picked it up and saw the portion, I took back my word on that. They gave you so much pork and rice. The meat was perfectly marinated and tender and not dry at all and it came with lettuce and 2 huge scoops of rice. AMAZING! I am a little picky on my Spam Musubis because I feel like I make a pretty dang good one at home but these blew me away. They were wrapped nicely & had good flavor! Lastly, we ordered a side of seaweed salad because I just love seaweed salad! They gave a great size scoop! I stopped in here looking for a quick lunch on a week day. The staff was so friendly and as soon as I stepped in the door the staff was inviting. The space is really clean and stylish. The employee at the front desk recommended the garlic chicken. It was a huge portion and also came with macaroni salad and two scoops of rice. I regretted getting it to go because it smelled so good in my car, I could barely wait! It was so delicious but easily could've been split into two meals! The price was reasonable, if not relatively cheap for the amount of food. I also got a Thai tea to go and they had a lot of options as well as your standard sodas. I ordered chicken katsu plate, a combo plate that included kalbi beef and teriyaki chicken, 1 spam musubi, as well as 1/2 lb. of the kimchi poke. The service was fast and the size/portions of the food for the price was just right. The food was good, although the kids did mention the chicken katsu was a bit dry and could have used a bit more seasoning/flavor. I think the stand-out item was the kimchi ahi poke. It was so fresh and had the perfect amount of umami flavor to it. I am excited to try their other poke by the 1/2 or full lb. options, so for that I will be back. Your absolutely getting 1 star and really should be a zero when you take my order and have me wait for 10 minutes to be told they are out of rice not sure how that happened since several people ordered after me and didn't have any issues receiving their order. Pretty pathetic the the struggle really began when I requested a refund walked out not knowing if that happened so I guess I get to contact credit card co. If any advice could be given is absolutely do not tip until order has been received (completed) and I would definitely wait to have tried it just based on the difficulty expediting. read more

This place is fantastic! The food is extremely tasty! I got the mixed platter with the katsu and mochiko chicken and it tasted amazing! The staff was very nice and worked very quickly even though there was a long line! There was also a very nice act of generosity towards a homeless person which warmed my heart. Alright... so it has been a while since I've been here. We just got some poke to go & all I have to say is inflation at its finest. I used to get 2 scoops of crab and then if I wanted more you get charged.... Now it's only 1, which is pretty skimpy. Then on my husband's bowl the scoops of cucumber and edamame were SO SMALL, barely 10 pieces of each per bowl we ordered. I spent 40 dollars on 2 bowls that had a sprinkle of toppings.
