    The Classic Breakfast.

Ate a late breakfast here today. Enjoyed their Chicken Fried Steak and Eggs. The eggs were Scrambled and fluffy the way I prefer. Also enjoyed it bicuuit and fresh fruit. I really like their fresh fruit because it consists of good fruit like blueberries, strawberries , and bananas! Great service and they offer Apple Pay.

So I've been to this location before and had a wonderful Reuben sandwich along with excellent service. Today was not the same experience at all. I ordered the same exact sandwich and for whatever reason there was a massive amount of cheese on it. I love cheese btw but this was TOO much. It was over powering & making both sides of the bread soggy. When my waiter Bryan A came after like 15 minutes of already receiving the food, he asked how was the food. I let him know my dissatisfaction with the sandwich and he said absolutely nothing. He didn't offer to have the sandwich remade or if I would even like another item. He just walked away and presented us with the bill. He even had the nerve to ask if I wanted a to-go box as if I didn't just tell him how disgusting my food turned out. Terrible experience. Won't be back again.

Breakfast for lunch, always a good idea. Menu has traditional & some not traditional items, great choices for anyone. Upon arrival I was greeted immediately & was seated, the hostess kindly took my drink order & asked if I needed a anything while waiting for my friend. The waitress was checked up on my twice as my friend was running late. All the coffee & jam offerings were readily available at the table. I had the chorizo skillet, it was good but a bit greasier than I expected. I know that chorizo is greasy but it seems like a bit much, the cheese could have also played a role in that. The chorizo was also pretty salty, I'll be back but probably wouldn't order it but time. The eggs were delicious! My friend had the peanut butter chip waffles with a side of sausage, it was good but not a huge wow factor. I noticed that staff was so attentive, friendly, & quick. Latrice was our waitress, I just about died with laughter because when I asked her what her favorite was meal was she answered in half a second with such excitement in her eyes! From the hostess, to the waitress, to the busboy the service was extremely wonderful & they are so warm towards everyone. This is a huge plus because there are a lot of elders that dine here & all of them were treated with such care. Prices, you can't beat. We both had waters & our total was $27 with tax but before tip. We were pretty happy with our lunch choice!

Nice location. Good parking. Decent amount of seating. Nice servers. Breakfast was very ordinary, nothing we couldn't make at home but we were lazy. Blueberry pancakes were a bit underwhelming for the extra charge and the bacon looked crispy but tasted reheated in the microwave. For the amount of food, we spent more than we were expecting. Next time we'll just eat at home.

My Cousin's come here all the time after Church. I was excited to dine in and see why they enjoyed this place so much. I can see why the like it. It's nice and clean, the Wait staff is friendly and personable. Their Breakfastt is good. I got a Shortstack of 3 Pancakes for $8.00. That's like $2.67 a Pancake. They were so large, fluffy and sweet. Then when I added the syrup, it was even better! If your looking for a small friendly cafe with a tasty breakfast. Then I would come here.

Went to another place for breakfast but they were not open. Yelp recommended this cafe for breakfast burritos so stoped in. 3 orders to go but because this is a cafe I could order different things to make everyone happy. Burrito for my brother in law, Omelette for my wife and steak & Eggs for me. All of it delicious and very fast for a to go order. Great service.

First off our staff, our waitress Mari was amazing. She was so polite and on the ball and made sure everything was taken care of. Very impressed. The food was also amazing. I had their Monte Cristo, which is actually two pieces of French toast with ham and cheese in between and egg. The scrambled egg was perfection, the fact that it wasn't totally deep-fried, but still had the powered sugar and eggy Goodness of the French toast was perfect. The ham had been cooked on the grill and it was just delicious. I also got a stack of pancakes to go with it, which is just their typical buttermilk, with butter and maple syrup. They were really delicious. And then iced tea. Which if done right is awesome. And they do it very well. I also liked the murals of Texas our local Arlington area in the entertainment district and bluebonnets, very pretty.. I can't wait to go again.

    Skillet

Lonestar Cafe is a fantastic brunch spot that truly captures the essence of Texan hospitality. The moment you walk in, you're greeted with a warm and inviting atmosphere that sets the perfect tone for a leisurely meal. The menu offers a delightful variety of classic brunch dishes, from fluffy pancakes to savory Benedict's, all made with fresh, high-quality ingredients. One standout dish is their signature skillets! It was packed with flavorful ingredients that leave you craving more. The coffee is rich and robust, making it the ideal companion for any meal. The service is attentive without being intrusive, ensuring that your dining experience is enjoyable from start to finish. Whether you're catching up with friends or enjoying a family outing, Lonestar Cafe is the perfect place to indulge in a delicious brunch. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience!

This is a $16 "grand slam" 4-egg omelet, which I requested no potato or bread sides.

We landed on Lac Bleu which is just a few miles away (from Globe Life Park) in North Arlington and a cute little spot. I moved from the DFW area about 3.5 years ago and never knew this new little retail strip was here nor that Lac Bleu even existed. I really enjoyed my florentine crepe with mushroom, spinach, cheese, diced tomatoes and hollandaise sauce. My girlfriend had the huevos rancheros and they were really good. They did a great job at seasoning the black beans and the green chiles added even more flavor. The price of $5.99 seems like a bit much for a side of sliced avocados but she got them. They also offer a mimosa flight available for $26 and regular mimosa $8. We didn't partake but good info for the future or anyone reading this. The decor is fresh and fun. Parking is a non issue - free and plentiful. They're pretty strict about seating even a party of two before everyone has arrived which was interesting but a few things were interesting. Nonetheless we enjoyed our food and time together. I would recommend Lac Bleu and would return if in the area.

Due to their location, I didn't know if it was the eggs or the landfill that sits behind it. We stood in the reception area for several minutes, we were observed, but still were not tended to for several more minutes. In total, we stood there for almost 10 minutes. I could understand if they were busy, but that wasn't the case. I was open to going somewhere else at that point, but we decided to stay. They have a weekly mimosa special, you can buy one and get one free. . Elderberry Cocktail: This was very good, I could taste the elderberry and it wasn't overdone. Sometimes, when you add flavoring to a drink it can be overpowered and nothing else stands out. They did a great job with preparing this drink. Breakfast Sandwich (Sausage, egg, and cheese - croissant) - I can't really rate this, it was a sandwich. It wasn't made improperly, it was exactly as described. Believe it or not, the sweet potato fries were the winner, I could have made that a meal w/ fruit on the side. Overall, I like the look and feel of this cafe. Would I visit again? No. There are way too many brunch places that serve better.

And tbh, 100% worth it. We ended up trying their concha, salt bread, cookies, and kolaches and they were phenomenal. The mango sticky rice and banana cream matcha were FANTASTIC. Right amount of umami from the matcha and the sweetness from the flavors didn't overpower the drinks. Perfect combination of sweet, savory, and creamy. Pro tip: get here early. The lines tend to be out the door.

I've never had mazapan, but I liked the sweetness of the peanuts and powder sugar in the drink. The matcha had grassy notes, which I liked. It tasted like a sweet fresh peanut milk drink but not necessarily like peanut butter milk. You can get a regular or large sized drink. Dulce de leche concha was pretty and tasty. It seemed more milk bread-like since it was soft and fluffy. It reminded me of melon pan because the crust was soft and crumbly. There's a small amount of dulce de leche in the middle, which is okay since the top is very sweet and the dulce de leche is rich. Shio pan with cream cheese and everything bagel: similar to a Chinese baked bread (cut almost all the way) filled with whipped cream cheese. The bottom has a slight crust but not hard like a Korean salt bread, and it's topped with everything bagel seasoning (not too salty). Dubai choco strawberry cookie: moist and almost fudgy because of chocolate chunks, topped with fresh strawberry slices. There's a small center of pistachio cream but the usual crispy noodles were already broken and mixed in, so it's less satisfying to me. The chocolate cookie part was like a rich brownie. It stayed soft even refrigerated. The marranito (pig-shaped sweet cookie) was thick and broke like a soft cookie. It's like a gingerbread cookie with less spices. Even refrigerated, the cookie was pretty soft. I'm usually not too fond of this type of flavor, but I liked this version. Ham and cheese bun: fluffy baked Asian bread with thin slice of ham and cheese. Bacon egg and cheese milk bread resembles a thick Chinese bread bun with a bacon-wrapped thick tamagoyaki inside. The egg part looked like it was overcooked. Coffee bun is a soft and high plain bun covered with a thick layer of slightly bitter coffee powder. The bread items started getting drier after getting cut and refrigerated but softened once they were microwaved. There are clean trays and tongs for the baked goods. The line moves along the edges. The bakery had (2) baskets of large umbrellas since it was a long and slow line and blazing hot. The outside line takes up most of the small parking lot. There is some street parking along the 2-way road. I think the bakery was busier than normal due to it being the day after a BTS concert and social media. It took about 50 minutes to get inside, 20 minutes to get through the line, then 15 minutes to receive drinks. There are a few tables along the right side of the inside bakery and a few small tables outside. Even though it was very busy, the staff projected a friendly and competent image. There're clay heart-shaped plates to eat on and plastic forks for splitting pastries. The graphics on the murals, merch (shirts and aprons), big boxes, and cups were cute. The image on the plastic cups are easily scratched off.
