Fish and chips delicious. Not soggy at all and the fries were great. The clam chowder had a kick to them but they were tasty! The view of the beach was really nice and they have a water dispenser too! Which was a nice touch. The workers were pretty chill and there's a few tables outside where you can dine after you pick up your food. Overall it was a cool experience where you can get a fast casual meal & a beach view.

Cute little eatery right on the beach. Perfect view with your breakfast burritos and latte. Plenty of beach parking and the short rib burrito was delicious. Happy Yelping!

Went here on my birthday to enjoy a peaceful breakfast and listen to the ocean. It was so nice here. Food is great and service as well. There's benches but can get a bit full. Parking is right there and lots of restrooms. After eating you can walk over to the beach.

Stumbled across this place on a Friday for lunch. This spot is literally on the beach! Service was quick and food was good. Would definitely be back if I happen to be in the area!

First of all, you can't beat the location. It's on the sand! There's limited seating but it's not a huge deal because of the quick-ish turnaround. I'm sure many people take their food to-go and eat on the sand too. Parking was fairly easy as well because it's right next to a lot that you pay for by the hour. We were a little bummed that they have a strict cutoff for breakfast because we were really craving breakfast food. To be fair, it's rare for places to serve breakfast until the afternoon. We ended up ordering a burrito, fries, and a soft drink for lunch. It's pretty expensive for a quick beach spot, but the portions were a good size and shareable. Our burrito came with chips but in general, you have to order sides (like fries) separately. You do get a big portion and they offer free drink refills too. I think those 3 items came out to almost $40.00 not including the parking so just take that into consideration. Also, don't rely on the Yelp photos because their menu changes. You can see their menu in person or check their site. Overall, the food was pretty delicious and fresh. And the views were unbeatable.

This small gem posted right on the boardwalk had an amazing menu of food; from cheeseburgers, to fries, to sandwiches. I tried their ceviche and it did not disappoint. The serving size was a little small, but more than enough to satisfy an appetite. The chips the ceviche was served with were bursting with spicy lime flavor and the entire meal was well prepared and fresh. The service was quick, even for meals that required actual cook time. And being right near the beach offered the perfect lunch spot to relax and unwind.

This place is a hidden gem! Well, maybe not hidden, but I just discovered it. Holy wow! Reasonable prices for Laguna and right on the beach. We had a breakfast burrito and the clam chowder and both were excellent. I would literally drive the 90 minutes just for the soup! Such a great place for a quick brunch or if you're looking for a beach to hang out at it this is perfect to grab mid day. Highly recommend!

Very good counter serve cafe offering lots of food options but famous for their popular lobster rolls. They don't skimp out on the lobster portions and they are extremely fresh and delicious. Beware of market price though, each lobster roll was $38, which was double the price of all of their other menu items. The chicken tenders were also very good, crispy and tender. You order at the counter and they have outdoor seating which can be full during weekends. There is a huge paid parking lot that is right by the beach so you can enjoy a nice stroll after enjoying their food. Great location right by the beach and friendly staff.

We wanted lunch with a view. I had fish tacos. The price was perfect. It's a walk up counter and they were helpful.

I love this onsite cafe at Aliso Beach and we were pleasantly surprised it was open on Christmas Day! The food is reasonably priced and the staff is very friendly. I've had the lobster roll and the fish and chips before, it's all very delicious. This cafe has great beachfront views without a pricey price tag.

I had there so called fresh ceviche And two hours later I threw up and found a worm. Really disgusting. I didn't eat anything else either this day so i know it was definitely this meal that I ate. Not coming back again:)

Beautiful location as it was right on the water. Staff were patient and friendly. The food tasted pretty good as well. The only thing is that it was very expensive but, I suppose that's just expected in this area. Great place to grab a bite to eat if you want to splurge a little while watching the waves or people watch!

Food: 4/5 Service: 3/5 Ambiance: 4/5 Paid parking lot with $3.50 per hour. There was plenty of parking when i get there early in the morning. Cafe was full but i got the seat before my order was ready. Location of parking and seating area right by the beach is perfect. Only handful like this on PCH. I ordered avocado toast, which comes with fried eggs, tomatoes, onion pickles, aged Parmesan, with sourdough. It was tasty and the view was great. I can't wait to come back here again. Highly recommended!

What kind of fish do they use for fish n chips?

    Pacific rockfish

Are they still serving LOBSTER ROLLS ? seems off the menu as of now

At this time we only serve the shrimp roll, but the lobster roll will most likely be coming back this summer!

Is the patio dog friendly this time of year October?

    Yes it is!

How many hours can the fire pits be rented for?

Do I need a reservation for a table on the patio? Do they serve alcohol? Gracias.... 😁

No you don't need reservations. You just order at the window and sit at any table that is open. And yes, they serve alcohol. ☺️

At what time are lunch items served?

Just ate there yesterday and oh so good. The entire menu is served all day during their open hours.

Do they have parking or do you have fight for parking with Beach goers?

It depends on the weather and weekend or weekday. Just ate their yesterday and plenty of parking. Since it is paid parking I have always been pretty lucky or you can park across the street and walk the tunnel over.

I see beer, but do they have wine?

    Yes

Does this place have gluten free options?

    Yes!

    Is this at Aliso Beach?

yes, it sure is... : )

On this day, our server Edgar went out of his way to deliver outstanding service. My husband asked for something only on the weekday menu and Edgar made it happen - Bravo! He also suggested one of the juices (the carrot and tumeric) and offered a sample so we could try it first (it was delicious). Awesome! That cinnamon roll is the size of a dinner plate, so we split it 3 ways (could have easily served four). The cream cheese frosting isn't overly sweet, so when paired with the candied bacon and maple syrup, it balances out nicely. Yum! Edgar kept my coffee cup full and made sure we didn't need anything. The ceviche is OUTSTANDING. Light chips, fresh fish, expertly seasoned. The addition of the pickled mustard seeds on top add something unique to the flavor profile, so much so that we were googling how to pickle mustard seeds ourselves. Some of the best ceviche we've ever had (and we've had a lot). Could be spicier, but delicious. So the food and service are great - did I mention the view? Sitting on the patio, you overlook a serene canyon and their golf course, and feel like you're in a completely different space. It's so beautiful, peaceful, open, and lush. I could sit on that patio and eat cinnamon rolls and drink my neverending coffee all day long. The ocean-facing restaurants get all the attention in this town. This hidden gem deserves more attention, for sure.

The burger came out first, the salads took an additional 10+ minutes to come out. They should work on time management so all guests receive their food at the same time. Drinks - 3/5 Pilsners were lukewarm for some reason. Arnold Palmer was refreshing and tasty, perfect sweetness and tanginess. Ahba Burger - 3.5/5 It is a smash burger with decent flavor. It didn't really taste or have the texture of a smash burger, no crispy edges. The fries were oversalted. Caesar Salad - 1/5 The dressing was watery and didn't have any flavor. A very plain and sad salad, no croutons just a dusting of breadcrumbs. Wedge Salad - 4.5/5 The creamy bleu cheese dressing was delicious, creamy, flavorful. There was a good amount of topping to lettuce ratio. Chicken - 0/5 Now the worst part of the dining experiencing... the chicken we added to both of the salads. Please see attached pictures. The chicken that came on our salads was ALARMINGLY bland looking. It was a small piece of chicken, pasty, and covered in this wet looking gooey mushy reddish mayonnaise-esque paste. The chicken looked BOILED. We were stunned, it looked nothing like the pictures of the grilled chicken salads from their Yelp. This chicken we received had no caramelization, no grill marks, no sign of browning whatsoever. We are convinced this chicken was cooked in the microwave, steamed, or boiled. This was not restaurant quality chicken. This looked like a science experiment. We asked our waitress TWICE about our chicken and showed her their own Yelp photo of the chicken salad. Her answer was that they used to dry season then grill their chicken by now they use a wet marinade then grill their chicken.... There is just no way. As someone who cooks, there is no way that chicken can be grilled and look like that! Beyond the appearance of the chicken, it tasted terrible. Mushy, pasty, flavorless, it tasted like reheated frozen processed chicken.... Bleu Cheese Dressing Fiasco - 0/5 We asked FOUR times for a side of bleu cheese dressing. 1. While we were dining, we asked our waitress and she gave us a side of bleu cheese. 2. After we finished dining, we placed an order togo and asked the cashier for bleu cheese dressing and he told us they do not carry bleu cheese dressing. He offered ranch instead. 3. We asked our SAME waitress from earlier for a side of bleu cheese dressing and she told us they do not carry bleu cheese.... WHEN SHE LITERALLY GAVE US bleu cheese cheese dressing earlier.... 4. So then we asked a kitchen staff member for bleu cheese dressing and he provided us with a side. Overall - this place needs to work on pacing so that every guest at a table can receive food at the same time, their beers need to be refrigerated until the time of serving, training their staff on the menu and available dressings. AND something, something has to be done about that chicken. We ended up throwing it away. It was disgusting. This was our first and last time here.
