This place is really cute way on the west side. Came here for a light lunch before watching a movie with 2 other Yelp friends. We all decided on various types of pho and the custard buns. I was somewhat surprised to be asked if I wanted thick or thin noodles with my pho, I chose thin noodles which turned out to be the usual size. My friend chose thick noodles which were barely thicker than mine. They are not the wide flat chow fun type of noodle. So you can't go wrong with whatever size you choose. I had a traditional beef broth variety which was pretty good although I found the broth to be on the sweet side. The custard buns are totally awesome and recommend 2 per person. My favorite here is half a cornish hen and fried rice meal (seriously good). I chose the taro boba which came free with the meal (not a fan as I had much better). I certainly enjoyed this place. I went to get their ribeye sandwich too for the next day's lunch. The sandwich was as delightful as the cheese cornish hen meal. Tried their lemon grass peppers chicken which was delicious. Not great customer service. They got my order wrong after I asked for no onions on my sandwich. After I said something politely about it, they refused to remake the sandwich or offer a refund. When asked for a sandwich remake, the employee who took my order forgot to tell the manager that I had asked for no onions to begin with. The owner confronted the employee in front of me (classless) and he admitted I had indeed asked for no onions. Owner proceeded to say I'll get my refund and employee would pay for the sandwich. This place has been going down for a while. My friend went in and had a horrible experience with the rude disgusting attitude filled owner. They treat people so rude and expect you to just walk away and deal with it. They can't be bothered with customer service. TeaBo is one of my girlfriend's and I favorite place to get boba. We always get the berries smoothie and the sunrise smoothie. The boba itself has such a good flavor to it. If you also get the Clover app you get a free drink ever 10 drinks. The service is ALWAYS friendly and awesome! It is also a cute little restaurant that you can sit down and enjoy a delicious meal. One of my favorites things about this place is that at the high top tables there is outlets to charge devices. Long story short their food and drinks are EAT AT YOUR OWN RISK! The whole story if you want to read it: Food was alright, not very much fresh veggies but it's catering to a more American style fast food. My husband got the lemongrass chicken and rice which was pretty good, came with some cucumber carrots and rice, the traditional way has fresh lettuce to go with it. Egg rolls here are pretty good quality. I got the chicken and waffle fries which I thought was actually going to be hand battered drumsticks and thigh meat or something of that sort from a picture I saw on yelp here. That was really disappointing, would've been nice if the cashier had told me they changed their recipe and it was just chicken tenders. Waffle fries were really good but overall wasn't really what I was looking for in an asian restaurant. My mom has made battered drum sticks before asian style and it was really good. The last part was what made this place the most disappointing, my drink. They are known as a drink place first and I ordered the Vietnamese frappe with coffee jelly, and it was the WORST I've ever tasted! I'm Vietnamese and have had Vietnamese coffee drinks all over the world and locally here and couldn't believe they could serve me something that could taste this bad. So giving them the benefit of the doubt I was very nice and went back up to the cashier asking if my coffee should be tasting tangy or sour and she said uh... I don't know.. it could be the jelly or boba... I say, I've had Vietnamese coffee before and it's never been sour and have had coffee jelly before and never had it been sour. She asks the worker there and she says well I've tasted the coffee and it tasted fine, I said, do you want to taste my drink? I can pour some out. She says no, it's probably the jelly. This is where everything went wrong. I should taken this as a warning ! I tried my drink again and still it doesn't taste right, even though she gave me a 20% off discount because we ordered entrees but didn't ask me what size I wanted (I wanted the small size since we were going to a movie right after and told her that) 1: it was way too much for me to drink and finish especially when it's Vietnamese coffee which is like huge amounts of espresso, 2: strike too I actually already had their reward app which she didn't even know the correct one to tell me so I could get a reward for my purchase, that sucks, would've been nice to know my options when I was up there decide and new to their place. 3: Now I'm thinking what could cause a drink to be this sour like a lemonade which does NOT go together, and the only thing I can think of is either they used some kind of tangy fruit water by accident or that their milk must have gone bad or poor quality coffee or even their jelly or something that went bad. I've had stomach issues and had to use the restroom multiple time from their place today. NEVER EVER coming back again. Eat and drink at your OWN RISK. I thought well I should give these little shops a try since I don't usually go, and it's the only way to find good affordable Vietnamese food places. Worst customer service ever! Serving me spoiled milk and telling me I'm wrong and you won't even try it or do anything about it?? Wow, you really don't want to be in business for long. Even Starbucks or any coffee place if your drink tastes weird they would find some way to fix it. It doesn't cost that much to fix a drink and Getting 20% off of your spoiled horrible drink was not worth the money or my health! Original Milk Tea- da bomb! I drank that thing up! My mom ordered the Sunrise Smoothie, and she felt the banana flavor was too strong, and it was too sweet. We won't get that again. Next time, I want to try the thai tea! The drinks were way more expensive than other places, so it will not be a regular for me. Very Disappointed The staff at Teabo are warm, friendly, and extremely accommodating, which is why I feel terrible for calling out their food as bland. I really wanted to like Teabo so badly, especially after reading so many positive reviews. However, the food in my opinion just isn't good. This was my first visit to Teabo, and for me the food fell short. On this visit I choose the chicken & waffles ( I actually ordered popcorn chicken and waffle fries but was giving the wrong entrée), Onion Rings, BBQ Pork Buns, and macaroons. All of our selections had very little taste. The bbq pork buns had just a very small amount of pork and the bread was extremely dry and tasteless. The onion rings were greasy and stuck together, the waffles were soggy, and I did not like the taste of a chicken. However, on a positive note the macaroons were absolutely delicious. This place is AWESOME. I especially love their tea and SIGNATURE BOBA. I already tried signature tea, matcha green tea, the kisses, and is going to try many other types. They are all great with their specific taste. The drink is not too sweet, and you can still taste the tea flavor in it. I am not a fan of high carb food, but their RIBEYE SANDWICH is worth trying. It is a combination of the eastern Vietnamese types of sandwich and western type of meat. Their shop is spacious, and not too noisy and crowded all the times. I really enjoy Teobo. They have a lot of sandwich, noodle, and rice bowl options. Plus, the boba teas are very good and have a decent selection of flavor options. The service is and the staff is friendly. The establishment itself is hip and equipped with charging stations for your electronic devices. I really wanted to like Teabo. I really did. The truth of it though, is that it just wasn't as awesome as I was hoping it would be, at all. I love myself Vietnamese style sandwiches and I'm also a big fan of boba teas, and seeings how this place has both, I was excited to finally stop in and try both. The girls at the front counter were exceptionally nice - no complaints there. I ordered our favorite flavor, taro, for the kids and myself and a caramel pork sub. One of the girls brought over coloring supplies for the kids, which was very much appreciated. The boba tea came out first. Very grainy, but drinkable. Then came the sandwich. Quite possibly the worst sandwich I've ever had. It was literally just slabs of fat inside it, no meat to be found. I had to return it and ask for something else. The girls at the counter didn't seem to have a problem with exchanging it, though the cooks in the back seemed to argue/lecture them about it as I returned to my table. I ordered a chicken breast sandwich in it's place. Much better. Still, I left feeling pretty disappointed. This is a really nice hip place. It's very spacious. My friend and I came specifically for the boba. We told them it was our first time and they delightfully gave us suggestions. We ordered two fruity drinks. Although not made from real fruit they did not taste like syrup. My drink was pretty sour though. Maybe add more sugar. As a tip you should add what they call "white boba" which I believe is lychee jelly in ball form. It taste good but remember it's extra. read more

I love this place! It is a little far from where I live but I always find it worth the drive. One of my favorite drinks is The Triple. It's very refreshing and just right. I've tasted a few of the food on the menu and they are by far pretty good. The ribeye sandwich I think is one of the best in the menu. The place is very clean and big. It gives off a nice ambience. The Signature tea was pretty good like delicious good. The Taro was a little too sweet and artificial tasting not my favorite. The food - steamed bbq pork buns and grilled sausage rolls. 3 steamed buns for $2.45 was a real good deal. These little buns are so addicting. Are they made in house? No but still great(i love Dim Sum so i might be bias). The sausage rolls didn't taste good at first but the taste grew on me while eating the second roll specially with their dipping sauce which is quite tasty. Customer Service - the 3 girls in the front were really nice. However the cooks(which im assuming are the owner, assuming by the looks) that would come out of the kitchen would not acknowledge you. They were not very busy, yet I must have waited 10 minutes. Additionally, both times my order was wrong. My order was relatively simple and it was the same both times. Yay! Finally, I found a boba place that serves super yummy, almost perfect boba drinks to my liking! And it's close to where I live. Whenever I have hankerings for their boba drinks, I just make my wonderful hubs go pick one up after his shift lol. So far, I've tried their rice bowl and Pho and they're really good. Not a fan of their Pork buns though... But looking forward to trying other dishes on their menu. I recommend going there for lunch; your meal comes with a free 16oz drink. Yum! read more

It's hit or miss. I love the pork/shrimp spring rolls. Once I ordered them, and what I received was stale, old noodles inside. Like when you leave cooked noodles in the refrigerator for too long and they go bad due to moisture. It took me a loooong time to go back. This was around the time when businesses were shutting down because of the coronavirus 2 months ago. People probably weren't ordering and items were sitting around. That's my only guess because it was out of the ordinary. The BBQ pork fried rice is good, but then they use a poor quality pork. The fried shrimp is good, crispy, but the shrimp are super small, so you lose the flavor. It's a shame because when you make mistakes to save money the food is suffers. DO NOT GO HERE. My aunt took my cousins & I here. We ordered about 13 drinks. When ordering she spoke with the woman at the counter (the manager) asking for a tea, specifically without milk because she's lactose intolerant. My aunt's drink came with milk in it. When she asked if they could remake her drink without the milk, the manager talked to the owner & said they can't issue any refunds or remake the drink. We did not want a refund, just a drink that won't cause my aunt any problems....The manager also blamed the mistake on my aunt, saying that she did not correct her, even though when ordering she had just asked for lactose free.
