I give luna grill 5 starts because of the variety of options they have. I have the bistro beef plate that is my favorite with the side of salad. I also took my girlfriend to try it and she loved it. This is my go-to weekday lunch spot. I come here almost every Thursday and don't get sick of it. Lol. The food is always fresh and delicious. Friendly service, always the same friendly cashiers when I go in, Nelly and Arianna, which tells me that they treat their employees well. I use the app to order before I leave work and it's ready for me when I get there so I can eat in my 30 minute break. Plus they have a good reward program so I get my lunch for free from time to time. I recommend the Santorini bowl or the modern Greek wrap. Both are delicious. One more reason to come here -- nice open seating area in the front and this is between Habit Burger and Blaze Pizza. First time at Luna Grill! I unfortunately did not eat anything because they were out of HUMMUS and the cashier had a MAJOR ATTITUDE! My son enjoys a good Mediterranean meal and told me he wanted to have lunch here after we went shopping at Nordstroms Rack. We walk in and there wasn't anyone inside on a Saturday morning at 11:30 am. My son had been to the Torrance location and knew what he wanted - Chicken Kabob & Gyro Meat Plate with fries. I decided on the Lunatic Sampler. They young man taking our order told me that they didn't have the Lunatic Sampler! He said it in a condescending tone, "We have a sign on the door that says we are out of HUMMUS!" DAMN! I didn't see the sign on the door, as my son was holding to door open for me. Because of his attitude, I chose not to get ANYTHING! As I reached into my wallet to pay for my son's food with CASH, the young man said, "We don't take CASH! We ONLY take cards! We've been cashless for the last few months!" I told him that this was the first time I've ever been to a Luna Grill and it was my LAST! WOW! Attitude from a cashier, after being open for a whole "30 minutes." No wonder there were no other people in the restaurant! NO, I didn't see the unassuming sign printed on white paper and taped to the door. Perhaps a LARGER sign on the MENU BOARD behind the cash register would be the best to INFORM people that one of the staples (Chickpeas/Hummus) of MEDITERRANEAN CUISINE was UNAVAILABLE! After being in several other Luna Grill locations, I have to say this is now my favorite location. Ironically, this location so happens to be the closest to me and yet I haven't step foot inside here until last week. Located along with Pier 76, Blaze Pizza, and the Habit across from Los Cerritos mall, parking is in the shared lot. Yes you can indulge in the neighborhood eats like Afters Ice Cream or Broth Shabu but if you want dine without the guilt and all the flavor, this is the place for you! The flat cut chicken Kabob signature plate and the ground sirloin plate we got was excellent. It was flavorful, not overly salty, and each plate we got was under 500 calories (but only if you skip the basmati rice which was tasty as heck!) The chicken wasn't dried and and neither was the ground sirloin. Having the meats grill over an open flame, it's the tastiest way to go. We also tried their new Dip-Trio. It comes with sliced pita, carrots, and celery. Got to dip it with the garlic sauce, original or spicy hummus and spicy feta. Super way to start your meal to wet the appetite. I can never get enough of the pita here, I did wish we had more! Their drinks choices are one of my favorite among chains. They have Blue Sky soda on tap. Sweetened with cane sugar, the Blue Sky soda flavors here is not overly sweet and I recommend the Mango flavor. Their house lemonade is good but their Pomegranate lime aid, is a must get! Free wi-fi exists here and neighbor Pier 76. Bathroom is SUPER-clean here (thumbs up!) and there's 2 screens for TV which we saw the Lakers play. We lounged here a bit and it was comfortable, we are for sure coming back again and very soon! read more

We got our order and started eating when one of the workers came over to let us know the dining room was closed. I said do you want us to pack up our food and leave??... she said the dining room is closed. I said what about the other family eating?? Do they need to leave? She said oh well it's okay then.....I mean she didn't notice that before she said something? Or maybe she didn't think I noticed that?? Either way extremely disappointed. If they would have made it very clear that we needed to leave when we picked up our order, that might have saved the situation.
