Undercooked wings and odd tasting fries. Tasted like the food was spoiled. Avoid at all cost.

On a beautiful early summer day with warm sunshine and gentle breezes, it was a pleasure to sit at…read moreone of the outside patio tables, overlooking the colorful flower garden and the lazy river -with food and service that lived up to this restaurant's positive reputation and its 5 star reviews. Food: 5/5 We decided to try a leisurely lunch. The menu is not large, but it has enough variety to be interesting. Everything we tried was delicious. The smoked salmon appetizer portion was large, but the best part was the great flavor. I can see why this choice has been on the menu for years. The Vidalia onion soup will be a surprise for the non-Georgians who expect it to be similar to a savory beef broth like French onion soup. Georgia's onions from the Vidalia area are sweet and tasty enough to carry the soup without the help of a meat broth and the green pesto sauce offers a nice additional touch. The salmon on fresh salad was done perfectly. The panka-crusted cod with mashed potatoes and spinach was outstanding. Both were seasoned so lightly that the true flavors shone through. The portions were generous enough that dessert at the time would have been too much, but others can do as we did and take home one of the dessert choices. Next time we plan to try their sandwiches which looked yummy at other tables. Service : 5/5 Service was excellent from the pleasant greeting, through the entire meal. Our server, Clayton, couldn't have been more helpful with the menu, as well as being very efficient and amiable. He made sure our food was served promptly and our beverages glasses were full, and our requests were met quickly. Facility: The facility lends itself to the riverside experience from the canoe in the entryway ceiling to the flowers and bird feeders just beyond the patio tables. The white tablecloth ambiance informs you that this isn't a fast-food experience. There are tents set aside in a more private are of the garden as a lovely venue for special events Location : This isn't a quick roadside stop next to a 6-lane highway. Even though the restaurant is convenient to dine in an Atlanta suburb, the roads to the restaurant wind and meander for a short distance through one of the prettiest neighborhoods, with a canopy of large old trees, with lovely fences, hedges, and gates lining the road. There is courteous valet parking at the front door. The restaurant is not inexpensive but it is well worth the prices paid, in our opinion.

The hostess was welcoming, and we enjoyed waiting by the lake before being seated. When our table turned out to be directly under a cold air vent, the staff happily moved us to a more comfortable spot. The onion soup wasn't what we expected based on the menu description, and my salmon arrived much rarer than anticipated. After sending it back, it was cooked perfectly, though the flavor was just okay. My husband loved his entrée, and the complimentary birthday dessert was a thoughtful touch. Despite a couple of hiccups, the beautiful atmosphere and attentive service made for an enjoyable evening. I'd definitely return and try something different next time.

Our server was Robin. He was pleasant and had really good service. He told us to relax and not worry about the restaurant closing. That made us feel better. Maya and Robin told us to come back for brunch so we did. The food during during was amazing. We got the ahi tuna tacos and the edamame and shared the burger and the salad. Everything was colorful and full of flavor. There isn't one item that left us disappointed. For brunch we came back and had the tuna tacos again. My husband loved them so much he ordered them two more times. We also had the bao Benedict and the tuna toast, which came recommended by Maya. All amazing. Also try the fruit salad and the nachos! For drinks we had the cold brew martini and the Caribbean Coffee made by Jess who was also very kind. I told my husband that the good, colorful food combined with the ambience and amazing service made me feel like I was on a vacation. I love this place and have added to one of my favorites. Cheers!

We took an Uber, so I can't speak to the parking. When we arrived, they gave us special seating because we were celebrating our birthdays, which was such a nice touch. It was a Friday afternoon and not crowded, so the atmosphere was relaxed and we could really enjoy our lunch. The Baked Crab Dip with pita chips was delicious, and the mussels were really good too. Everything we had was flavorful and enjoyable. Our server, DeAndre, provided excellent service and took care of us throughout our visit. They finished our meal with a little birthday ice cream, cookie and candle, which made the celebration even sweeter. Overall, good food, good service and a nice atmosphere. The special birthday treatment made the experience even more memorable, and I would definitely visit again when I'm back in Atlanta.

We managed to shift gears quickly and made a reservation on OpenTable. When we arrived, there was a crowd and a slight wait. Once seated, we were greeted by Landon. She was great! She was very personable and made our dining experience enjoyable. We were very hungry, so we didn't hesitate to order. We both got pancakes; I chose the buttermilk pancakes, and my husband went with the cinnamon cream pancakes. He also added a side of crispy potatoes, and we both swapped the bacon for chicken sausage. Additionally, we enjoyed an old-fashioned, a boozy salted caramel Cappacinco, and a St. Cecilia mimosa. Everything was delicious, and we also listened to the violist performing during brunch. The live musical performance is always a plus during brunch. Saints + Council is always a reliable brunch spot! They also validate parking for two hours. If you're looking for a great brunch option, be sure to check them out!

If you're unfamiliar, the restaurant serves a standard, pre-fixe menu of bread , a salad, frites, and steak. This is where things fell flat for me. The bread is a hard loaf in a paper bag. Maybe an ode to traditional serving, but no one offered to cut the bread nor were we provided a bread knife... my dining mate didn't want to work that hard to get any bread... inconvenient and wasted. The salad... I wasn't at all a fan of the dressing. It was very vinegary and pungent... not at all balanced. The frites were cooked to pure perfection; however, they lacked seasoning. The steak... this is where I was totally disappointed. While the steak was cooked to the right temperature (medium rare), it was sooooooo chewy, no marble... I found myself spitting out tough parts. Maybe Whole Foods' grass fed ribeyes have me spoiled, but this wasn't at all what I would expect of a restaurant that specializes in steak. My beverages (tequila daisy and traditional margarita) were uneventful. I also didn't feel they were balanced. The customer service was excellent. They create a warm and welcoming environment... this is a very romantic venue. Maybe come, enjoy the frites and a cocktail and stare into your lover's eyes

Steak can be cooked to each person's preferred temperature which is also nice. It's definitely got a nicer atmosphere, good for a date night or celebration, and I would definitely come back.
