The matcha is honestly one of the best I've had in multiple coffee shops I have tried.

The drip coffee was quite good. They made sure my wife was satisfied with her Macchiato, so they upsized it to a latte. Now for the pastries! The scone was really good & on the + size. My wife scarfed down her croissant, so I guess it was good too. It was quite clean and new looking inside & I figured they have not been open long. The staff knew what they were doing, but seamed to still be working out their process. I will go back. read more

This coffee shop is THE COFFEE SHOP I've ordered the latte, matcha and chai and they are all incredibly delicious! Rich in flavor not like other coffee shops with a lot of syrups and flavorless coffee. And the price it's worth it, it's QUALITY. don't know what else to say, staff is amazing and very helpful. The moment I walked in, I instantly fell in love with the place. Not only is the quality top-notch, but the ambiance is just as impressive. One of the coolest parts was that the owner personally came out to introduce himself and check in with customers to make sure everyone was having a great experience. Went back! The energy was amazing once again. Long line and it was moving really quickly! They are very efficient, which is awesome considering there's no drop off in quality even with the higher volume. Got the snow this time and my friend got the praline. I'm not a matcha drinker but I thought it was fantastic and it may have converted me. Ari, the owner, was really thoughtful. He gave free craft almonds to everyone waiting, and took extra time to introduce himself to tables. Once again, can't stress enough how great of an addition this place is to Ventura blvd. I don't give many 5-star reviews, but... This might be the best coffee I've had in a while. Very clean, bright and modern. You order at the counter but the drinks are prepared at a separate small open-view bar that has some seating. You get a full view of their very detailed, precise drink creation. I got an Americano black and the flavor was exquisite, I could taste all the subtle notes. Also, the temperature was perfect, not lip-burning hot like many places. This place has amazing quality coffee. I'm always looking for a really special cup of Joe and this place be cookin fr. The staff are super friendly and nice and seem very knowledgeable about the coffee, ingredients they use and the process they use to make their coffee. I had an Iced Latte with a Mexican Vanilla Cream Top(hope I'm not butchering the name can't exactly remember) and it was incredible. The praline is really good as well. They don't use those cheap syrups that every other coffee shop uses. I will say, maybe this is an odd critique of the place but the feng shui feels very off in the place. They need to reorganize it or maybe even make a more clear seating section or even add art on the walls. I get that it's a minimalist kind of place but again it just feels unbalanced from a layout perspective haha. Just need to change something about the inside and I'd call this place perfect. I got a snow matcha and it was good but too pricey for the amount they give you. I believe it's a 8oz cup but with the ice and foam on top you literally just get a few sips . Also, the costumer service isn't the greatest, they seem very unfriendly and the guy who "helped me" seemed a little annoyed of me asking questions. I do t think I would be getting back here. A lot of these chic, modern coffee shops all try to do the same thing: make a friendly atmosphere for people to come work and drink coffee. This is one of the few where the staff actually represents that initiative. Very friendly staff, willing to answer any questions you may have. The signature drinks were varied and flavorful. I got the Snow and Praline, a matcha and dark chocolate latte respectively. Small cup sizes may turn people off, but nonetheless I still recommend trying Lynx. read more

The best experience at this new coffee shop! Both our drinks (iced latte with their Mexican vanilla cream on top and the Praline Latte) were both AMAZING. Cannot wait to go back and try the matcha. My god what a gift to the valley! For those of us from LA commuting here for work, Lynx is an oasis. Kumquat and Loquat are kings in LA coffee, and this spot is like a cousin to them. Their matcha is perfection, and the hinata option gives that nice subtle roasted flavor, slightly similar to what you get with a hojicha. What I really love about this spot is it doesn't have the LA elitist attitude. It's like LA quality with Valley vibes. The staff and owner are super friendly but not overly talkative. The drinks are clearly made with so much care and craft. Great choice of light food options. So grateful we have this option. I'm not one to ever leave reviews but I had to create an account just to leave this one. First, with the only positive takeaway, was the friendliness of the cashier (who I think may be the owner) & his thorough explanation of their drinks. Unfortunately, that was the only positive aspect of this coffee shop. I ordered a triple espresso, iced, with a splash of almond milk. The barista, handed me a triple espresso, no ice, no milk. I let the barista know what my order was, she offered me to keep my drink, & insisted they would remake my order for the inconvenience. Not trying to be a headache & being very empathetic at the fact this coffee shop has been open for 6-weeks; I asked for them to just give me a cup of ice with milk. She assured me, they would remake my drink. Seconds later, she informed me that she would simply provide me with a cup of ice and wouldn't remake my drink. Consequently, they went back on their promise of allowing me to retain my drink while remaking my order. I'm not entirely sure why they reneged on their promise, to be honest. Moving on to the next part of my review, the quality of their espresso is utterly disappointing. Espresso is typically characterized by a toasty, roasted, and concentrated flavor. However, this espresso was far too sour and under-extracted! In conclusion, this coffee shop appears to be another trendy hipster coffee shop that is excessively focused on maintaining a social media image and presenting the illusion of high quality. Apple Store Appearance, Huawei-like product. If this place wants to be successful, they should focus on making a good cup of coffee first, instead of prioritizing their lab-like appearance. read more

Ordered a large drip coffee, but they were out of large cups. Instead of charging me for a small, the barista told me to buy the large and just come back for a refill to make up the difference. When I came back, she only poured an extra inch of coffee. If you're going to charge for a size you don't have, the least you can do is actually provide the volume the customer paid for.
