Finally made it during opening hours! I enjoyed the attention to detail and care/time the baristas took to make the drinks. Honestly, it shows as soon as you take a sip. I ordered one of the signature drinks- Snow : $8.50 (iced) Matcha, mexican vanilla cream top, house-made snow garnish The Mexican cream top was delicious and the matcha itself was great. It was a perfectly balanced drink. I really enjoyed it. Next time , I'll check out one of their espresso drinks.
I'm a sucker for coffee shops that make everything in house and that's what this place does. I was intrigued by their Cloud Menu. I ordered the Magnolia which is their espresso cloud drink and my husband got the Balboa which is their matcha cloud drink. The coffee was good and I enjoyed the house made Mexican vanilla cream top. It was very creamy and not as sweet as I thought it would be. The staff were friendly and professional. Inside is nice and they have a little bar top area. This place gets very packed. There was a line out the door when we went. Parking isn't the best. We had to find a spot in one of the residential areas nearby.
Came by around 8 AM on a Monday and was surprised that there was no line. I ordered the Balboa with almond milk, which brought my total to almost $10. My drink came out super fast. While it's definitely on the pricier side, I have to admit, it was really good. The drink was creamy, flavorful, and not overly sweet, which I appreciated. Even though I can't justify spending that much regularly, I do think it's worth trying at least once. I'll definitely be back to try some of their other drinks. There isn't a ton of seating inside, but there is outdoor seating available. Parking is either street parking or in the surrounding neighborhood, so I can see it being a little tricky during peak hours. Overall, great service and a delicious drink. Price aside, I'd come back again.
Stopped by after my yoga class and to my surprise the place was not busy as usual. I thought they would be fast considering there were only 2 people ahead of me but it took a long time to get my drink. I ordered a praline coffee, which was yummy but my drink which had milk and a praline cream top, sat in the to-go cup for at least 5 mins before the baristas poured the espresso in it. The odd thing about that is that the cream top wasn't at the top of the drink but at the bottom?
every time i visit a coffee shop on ventura i feel like im cosplaying the super ultra wealthy botox infested influencers (im a broke college student on ebt) ANYYYYWAAAAAYS.... does that mean I should spend $9 on a cup with milk and ice? YEA!!! the LA cafe culture is NOT ur regular latte... they're desserts that spike ur blood sugar that we use the "coffee" as a guise for excuse. almond milk is healthy, duh. bad financial decisions mean trying all the homemade syrups and unique flavors combos and UGH CREAMY FOAMS??? the praline coffee was so hazelnutty and ugh i love toffee/caramel flavors. the brown sugar syrup added the perfect sweetness and they even had decaf YASSS (5pm latte). The snow matcha was also perfectly potent, smooth, and THE VANILLA FLAVOR DOESNT PLAY!! And don't even get me started on the SERVICE. the staff are INCREDIBLY SWEET and made me feel so welcomed i wanted to stay there forever. will be back to buy a latte instead of using EBT on food!! :P
Today's coffee adventure brought us to Lynx Coffee. We've been hearing for a while that they have amazing drinks, so since we started our morning early, we decided to stop by right when they opened. I ordered the praline iced coffee, and my boyfriend ordered "The Snow" a matcha topped with Mexican vanilla cream. Let me tell you... these drinks are not only beautiful to look at, they taste just as good too. Both were creamy, flavorful, and perfectly crafted. You can really tell they put care into every drink. One thing to keep in mind it gets busy quickly, and street parking can be limited. Other than that, the drinks are absolutely worth checking out if you're looking for a cute coffee spot with quality drinks.
Great coffee spot in Sherman Oaks. The coffee is high quality and you can tell they really care about their beans and drinks. I tried one of their iced specialty drinks and it was excellent. The place itself is very clean with a nice modern vibe, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. They also have pastries and light food if you want something to eat, and there's seating outside if you want to sit and enjoy your coffee there. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to.
Stopped by Lynx Coffee this morning to check it out and had a really nice first experience. I grabbed a mocha latte and a blueberry muffin --both were solid and definitely hit the spot for a quick start to the day. What stood out most, though, was the ambiance. The space has a really cool, inviting vibe that makes you want to hang out and stay awhile. I was just in and out this time, but next visit I'm planning to sit down, relax, and take it all in a bit more. Overall, a great first impression. Looking forward to going back and trying more before giving a full stamp of approval!
Snow Matcha 8.2/10 -- as a strong matcha lover, the matcha was just a bit too milky for me. But I would get it again if I'm feeling my sweet tooth come on. Snow Praline 8/10 -- definitely that nutty flavor takes the forefront on the palate. The ambiance and the intentional spirit of this shop is why I'll come back. The baristas are dressed like Masterchef, there's free lactaids next to the sugar and napkins, and the baristas show exceptional care to each beverage they curate.
Yes, the line is sometimes long (but honestly show me a drink/food service where it is not amazing that is not long!). Yes, you will have questions about your order (because everything is fabulous:). Yes, you might need to find some parking on your own (that's city living in Los Angeles). Yes, you may experience a longer wait time for your drink (every drink is made with the highest amount of care and accuracy!). Yes, you will be greeted with a smile, given kindness when you place your order, and be asked for clarity about your item - because someone actually is invested in the quality of your drink. Pricey? I'm not so sure given all of the effort, the uniqueness, and special brightly lit/clean environment indoors and out...you get what you pay for: a magnificent coffee drink like you won't find anywhere else. I love it here...a special way to love myself in the way of a coffee drink.
Im always excited to try a new spot, a love a bev and a sweet treat. This place is pretty good, but over priced in my opinion even in LA. $9 for a little matcha that is mainly filled with ice. I was also disappointed that they ran out of all their pastries. It's a pretty small place, but does also have outdoor seating. Overall nice, but not super impressed.

Order a matcha and a flat white and enjoy them side by side. Muscovado syrup and vanilla are made in house. The operation feels closer to a Michelin level kitchen than a traditional cafe. It's thoughtful, high-quality, and always busy. Lynx is obsessed with the last five percent and it shows in every detail. read more

came here on a weekend afternoon and the wait was about 25 min. their specialty drinks will run you $8.50 each and it becomes difficult to justify the price at that range. I tried the snow and the praline which were both too creamy and sweet. overall the drinks were what I expected when I ordered and I see the appeal in trying out the cafe but would resort to other spots. read more

From interior design to the making of the drinks, I'm very impressed with the place. There's seating at the bar, two tables, and a seating area (inside/outside). Parking is in a busy area so the usual metered parking. The workers are super sweet and helpful. As for the drinks, my friend and I got the "snow" but we weren't impressed. really cute coffee shop in the corner of ventura blvd. the atmosphere was nice, you can smell the scent of coffee as you walk in which was lovely. it was pretty busy but the service was quick. their menu is minimal which is nice. i am a matcha girly so you know i had to get myself their matcha! i tried the "snow" which is their version of a matcha. it was good, i liked it. you do have to stir the snow on top before drinking the matcha. the only negative thing i would have to say is that for the size of the drink $8.5 close to $9 is pretty ridiculous lolol. i finished my matcha pretty quickly. - minimal indoor seating. - lots of outdoor tables. - street parking read more

The cold brew here was delicious. A new spot in Sherman Oaks right on Ventura Blvd. Parking can be a bit tricky but I had no problem finding one. It has both indoor and outdoor seating and as pretty packed on a Friday afternoon. The ambiance is chill, lots of people working on their computers or talking with friends. Welcoming and friendly service. Will stop by again to try other drinks. read more

I wanted to give this location a try and I was not disappointed. The "magnolia" was well balanced and sweet, just what I was looking for . The place was crowded! 5 stars alone for the fact that they use clover milk for regular orders - this place is truly alllll about quality. You can tell each of the staff knows what they're doing - I couldn't be happier this place popped up. I got the uji matcha - while it is the pricier of the matchas ($10), it's really good. I personally taste more of the nut flavor than arugula (they said it's a peppery arugula, not a bitter or lemony taste). Not bitter at all. Got it with almond milk. 9.5/10, I will definitely come back to try the other tiers of matcha here read more

Hands down, high quality coffee and matcha in the valley! Their matcha has so much flavor and is so smooth. Their praline snow latte was a perfect amount of milk to coffee ratio and was not that sweet. Service was amazing, they walked us through the different kind of matchas they provided as well giving us recommendations. it's simple, clean, and spacious inside as well. parking is street parking :) read more

Lynx is the absolute best coffee I have had. The attention to detail and high quality ingredients are out this world. I want to lie to you guys because it's getting way too crowded lately, but I can't. Lynx has the best coffee in LA, no question. If you know Community Goods, this has that same VS energy. The service is incredible. The team is amazing, and Arian, the owner, shows up every single day to make sure everything runs exactly as it should. Every cup is crafted with precision and care. I'm proud to say I was one of the first people to discover this spot. I knew it was special from the very first sip of their The Preline coffee. Parking? Good luck. parked in the neighborhood and waited in line for a bit but wasn't bad at all. the inside had some tables and chairs, and they also serve food, perfect for studying and getting work done. i got the uji matcha with oatmilk and simple syrup ($10). for the price which is the most i've ever paid ever i was shocked but i think the current yelp menus don't reflect the new pricing (??). think i missed something there... i wasn't charged for the simple syrup and i don't think for the oat milk either so the matcha itself was purely $10. they filled the milk all the way to the top and i was so scared that it was gonna be pure oat milk but somehow someway they got the matcha in and the color was really good, and mixed in super well. for paying an egregious amount imo, they matched the energy well. i would come back maybe for the regular matcha ($7.5) to compare but the uji was good and nutty flavoring. read more

Made an impromptu stop here this morning. Ordered the praline coffee since it was a highlighted drink and it did not disappoint. I was afraid it would be too sweet but it tastes exactly what you'd imagine a praline dipped in coffee would taste like (nutty, slightly buttery and sweet with a coffee undertone and aftertaste). We also tried the espresso and it was honestly one of the best espressos I've had in a long time (they used Finca San Jose Geisha beans and the shot was pulled pretty much perfectly). The shop itself has a very open airy vibe and clean aesthetic, and I'm completely enamored with their coffee bar setup. The staff was super friendly and there was a bit of a wait to get our order, but all good things take time (and the coffee is so worth the wait). The gear and choice of coffee beans alone tells me how dedicated they are to their craft and that's why this is my new go-to coffee spot. read more

This place is truly NEXT LEVEL. I'm pretty functionally minded when it comes to coffee -- as long as it brings me back to life I'm happy. Lynx made me realize although function is important, otherwise how do we human, form does not have to take a backseat in the equation. The care, love and artistry that Lynx puts into every drink is something I've only really seen at places that truly have passion for what they do or make. That all said, I'm truly a big fan of art, form and function and now I can get all of that in my coffee at Lynx. They even took it a step further and built a beautifully designed space you'll be happy to hang out in, drink your coffee or even do your work peacefully. I cannot wait to have The Praline and Snow again, both were delicious treats for my brain, stomach and eyes! 10/10 PERIOD! Terrible service! We are ordering a $7.50 coffee and the cashier looking at me like I own her money and while I'm ordering, she's leaving somewhere, not saying anything coming back, no smile, no sorry. What's that about? I wanna get coffee and enjoy myself I just want to be treated nice when I'm your client and your coffee and matcha are pretty expensive, so I assume has to have a high service standards at least polite. aAlso for the coffee they're not giving you a full cup for some reason my matcha was filled up to 3/4. My new favorite coffee shop in LA and i've tried a LOT! The customer service is outstanding, the owner is there welcoming customers and even remembered my name the second time I came in. I had the praline latte and it is soooo delicious! You can tell they use very high quality ingredients. If you get your coffee "for here" it comes in a beautiful glass with a mixing spoon. The prices are a bit high but you have to remember you are paying for quality beans.. not just a normal cup of coffee from any regular coffee shop. I will definitely be coming back and will probably be a regular here. So glad they opened!! read more
