This is by and far the favorite place of my Husband and I in Ocean City. The drinks are delicious, the food is awesome, and the staff is one of the best in the OC. The crab dip is our go to appetizer. It is served in a bread bowl with crackers for dipping, and we always manage to eat the whole thing, bread bowl and all. I had the Rockfish Tacos and they were so good. I'd definitely order this again. We were in on a Wednesday and they had at DJ playing. There was no cover and the place was packed. A lot of people were up dancing and the place had a cool dock party vibe. We will come back every trip-guaranteed. read more

This was my families first time here. After dinner we decided to have a couple drinks at MR DUCKS bar. We were seated at the bar for 30 minutes waiting patiently for service. After seeing these workers serve everyone else around us who have been seated for a minute (like a girl who couldn't even stand) like shouldn't you guys cut people off? I guess not. Well now we start to get angry. So finally about 35 minutes later this big bald white dude in grey shirt (unsure if manager, seemed it was) & bartender (wish I knew this girls name, short with short brown hair) comes to us so rude and disrespectful in my sisters face I was so appalled. Like this is how you all make your tips? This is the kind of manager y'all have there? This is how you talk to customers? Bunch of unprofessional people. Maybe you guys need more people behind the bar if you can't handle it then. We won't be back. read more

Ocean City just opened outdoor dining this weekend. My friends and I decided to go here for a drink at night since it is outside. No one was wearing a mask and people were crowding around the bar. I was mocked multiple times by the fat, old, biker-looking bartender for being the only one wearing a face mask. He proceeded to make fun of me and served new customers before serving me. I finally got to order my drink but had to take my mask off because "he couldn't hear me." Guess who didn't get a tip tonight??? So disappointed in M.R. Ducks and hope they straighten up their management. Forever going to Fish Tales where you get respect and COVID regulations are taken seriously. read more

Would give 5 stars but we were asked to leave because we had someone that was only 20 with us which I understand. We had just gotten off the OC Rocket and were ready for lunch. MR Ducks is literally right there so we stopped. We had a table right beside the water, which was beautiful. I think this place would be great for drinks, but overall the food was not very good. The fish tacos consisted of 2 small tortillas with what looked like a fish stick in each. The mango salsa was good, sweet with a kick at the end. The Crab and chicken sandwich also had a problem: the crab dip topping was cold inside. I was also upset to see an upcharge on the bill for fries- I had just been asked, 'Chips or fries", no mention of extra charge. The music is good, it has a good view of the bay and all the boat action by the bridge, and the drinks were decent. However, the food is not worth coming back for. read more

We stayed in ocean city for 2 days and came here 3 times. It's a very cute bar with the most friendliest courteous staff In ocean city! Probably the best drinks in ocean city. Granted it was a Monday night, it was pretty late (9:00), but it's the summer! There was no one to greet us and the rest of the staff were huddled together paying no attention to us looking for a table or some service. When we got service, it was good and our server was friendly. We're ordered the tuna on crispy wonton as appetizers and i ordered the crab cake sandwich for my entree. My wife ordered the fish and chips. For the price we paid, the crab cake was pretty small. The fish and chips were... well, nothing spectacular. The app was amazing though! Okay... my pet peeve: cleaning agents while I'm eating. Sure, they have to clean tables, but look... the place was empty. When the table next to us left, they started spraying the table with a cleaner that was very strong. It was so close you could taste it in your mouth. Seriously? It was a late Monday night. There was really no one there. We were literally the only ones dining there. Couldn't it have waited? Or at least spray it into the cloth to wipe. Yeah, probably won't be going back there again. Assateague Adventure: Six seniors booked the trip and had a great time. It was a gorgeous day for a boat ride. The guide was very informative about the history of the area, and wildlife. We saw the horses on Assateague Island, and we loved the "hands-on" wildlife demonstration on board with the kids and adult volunteers. Just a wonderful experience! read more

We decided on MR Ducks because it seems like a "cool" place and I was with 2 twenty four year olds... and we'd just gotten finished parasailing at that pier. SO, MR Ducks it is. The food was "eh" and the service about the same. We ordered crab dip - not very good. One kid got a kids meal - Mac and Cheese - "eh". One got smoothered fries which she didn't love and hubby ate most of, but he said it was "eh". My son and I got the Island Chicken Sandwich - and the honey mustard was yuk so we both scraped it off. The rest of the sandwich was tasty enough - not great, but OK. The fries were grease sticks. My son's girl friend got a chicken tender sandwich that was huge and she said not very good. Hubby enjoyed his burger, however... so 1 out of 7 dishes were good. The other 6 were edible and did fulfill our need for food. As for service - it took forever, and every time we wanted something we had to find our waitress. We didn't tip well...we did tip, just not well... and she should know that it's because we tipped what she earned. "Meh. I've experienced better" is about right. I think this place would score higher for drinks on the bay - but we weren't drinking at lunch time. read more

Stopped in for a little day drinking. This place was perfect! We were seated quickly and sat outside overlooking the inlet, had some great drinks and a couple of appetizers. Our waitress provided us with great service. I ordered a duck call with light rum, coconut rum and pineapple - so refreshing. I also had a pina colada and this was a great one - nice and coconutty. The steamed clams were nice and small and tender and the crab dip was delicious too. This is an iconic restaurant, so if you're looking for a nice casual place to have good food and drinks, M.R. The food is mediocre at best. But that isn't really why you should come here. I like going because there are always nice patrons and the staff is always friendly. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer, and was extremely attentive. But again the food is ok. I'm pregnant so couldn't drink, but had a virgin pina colada which was delicious! I've been in the past as well and there is always fun music and just a good crowd to be around. It's a nice change of pace from the Seacrets and Fagers crowd! Food is great, drinks are even better. Amazing location right on the bay and no better place to watch the sun set. We love going when there is live music in the summer and there is a wonderful atmosphere around. There is also a shop there where you can find some unique little souvenirs and clothing. read more

But last night was a different story, after being yelled at and accused of walking out on a tab from a date that I wasn't even in town (smart phones track your location) i was in DC. And even after saying that we were told to "pay this tab or get the f* out". It wasn't even my tab. I was disrespected and humiliated at the bar over a tab that wasn't even mine. Even after explaining that to the bartender and showing the manager my location i STILL had to pay that tab, so whoever's drink I bought you are welcome or I guess somehow I ordered a drink from 3 hours away. ‍. read more

Not one of my favorites we went to in Ocean City. I had the mild wings which were okay, nothing out of the ordinary. My boyfriend had the fish sandwich which was a little too on the crunchy side. Eat here and not on the ocean side. Loved this area of ocean city. All the people who worked here had so much fun energy. My husband did the Chug-a-Duck. It was disgusting but fun. We did not get seafood but we did get the crab dip covered grilled chicken and hamburger. The hamburger was over cooked but the chicken was selfish. The side included chip covered in old bay. Ordered blackended shrimp taco, it was horrible. Worst taco i have ever had in my life. They use store bought tortia, which smells. Then use store bought ready made cheese, on top of that they serve their taco cold, it was a joke for anything named blackened. Nice way to watch the water and boats. Nice breeze. Waitress was good too. I believe the food was mediocre at best. Mahi tacos were good. Fried rockfish dishes we got seemed frozen and not fresh. The grease was leaking out off the pieces of fish and when you picked up the fish, the grease ran down your fingers. The burger was way better than the rockfish.
