Our service was great! A group of our family went for Mother's Day. They had a family style menu for the day, and we were worried we wouldn't have enough food for 10 people. The manager assured me no one would leave hungry, and boy he wasn't kidding! So much food and all of it was delicious. We had 4 households that were each able to take food home because we couldn't finish it all. It was my daughters graduation, she booked a table for 9 people. We get there, and for some reason they make us wait while big parties 10 and 20 minutes after us were seated. Then one of our family members heard the 2 hostesses talking that they made a mistake with our table. All they were offering us was sitting outside. I'm already freezing and they put us outside. I was cold the whole time. Even with a heater my legs and feet were freezing and I had to eat dinner with my jacket on, what was uncomfortable. The family Members sitting the furthest away from the heater were all cold. I went out to talk to the manager and he's lying into my face, they did not made a mistake. So I asked him, he's telling me my family is lying!? I saw those 2 hostesses being uncomfortable because they made the mistake. And then to find out later in the reviews, that they do this on a regularly. I told the manager he can tell this anyone he wants but not me. I'm not backing up and believing his lies. Well my husband ordered Spaghetti aglio olio, that's the easiest meal someone can make. It comes out with a meatball on top we did not order and it was not oil and garlic. There was butter in it. Who puts butter on this dish. Well he did not eat anything. This is anything but Italian. Overpriced, place, that tries to give the customer the fault for what they do wrong. We left several hundred $'s at that place and all he does is give me a $25 Giftcard after we paid. I will never use it, because I will never set a foot back into this place. read more

The sucker that I am, I took my family back to Maggiano's again this year for their Thanksgiving feast. To be honest, it was better than last year. But it was not great. Our server was very nice, and gave us good service. His name is Sean. And we have no complaints about him whatsoever. He timed things perfectly; he checked on us often; we liked him. But some of the issues from last year (including some in my Yelp review) remain. The biggest issue is that most of the dishes we ordered came out cold. Not all, but most. The recipe for the creamed corn needs to be shredded and redone. It was really not tasty at all. The mashed potatoes were obviously made from powder. Come on, guys. The turkey was sliced thick and was quite good. The new dish, Rigatoni a la Vodka, would have been very good but it was stone cold. Why?!? The rest of the dishes were fairly good, but largely uninspired. So I will raise my rating from 3 to 4, mostly because of Sean. We heard that the president of Maggiano's was on-site during our meal. Hhmm..., didn't help much. We miss the Maggiano's we fell in love with almost three decades ago. We miss the excellent bread that was served hot, fresh and plentiful. The bread now is blah and never hot. We miss the spumoni, which I think was their best dessert, but now removed from the menu. These things make a big difference. At least to us. And I can't help but notice that no one responded to or addressed my Yelp review from last year. As a Maggiano's customer (other locations, but about eight years at this location) for close to 30 years, I know what they are capable of. Yet for some reason, their holiday service seems to fall short. It just kind of sucks eating a mediocre meal at a restaurant that should be great and used to be great. We went recently with a party of 7, a friend hosting her goodbye dinner. We were greeted right away by a friendly host, no waiting for a 7pm reservation. Our waiter Nick, was wonderful. Very attentive and friendly. Suggested certain appetizers n entrees. The meatball appetizer was a meal into itself with a Caesar salad. Everything was delicious no disappointment on any of the entrees. We did try a few of their desserts and I loved my vanilla bean ice cream. Perfect way to end such a filling meal. You raised your prices significantly, AND eliminated the double portion options for online orders?! You can find better prices and quality at Red Rock Resort's restaurants. This isn't even a hotel and it's more expensive than resort restaurants now. We were regulars for take-away, but not anymore. It used to be $35.50 for a double portion of Rigatoni D. I took 20 minutes to find a spot. The manager basically said I don't care. You can't sit yet and you have to leave at 7:30. I don't care about how hard it is to get to the restaurant. Tough s%#t. We came with a pretty large party at around 9 PM, it wasn't busy at all around this time so we got seated right away. The food was okay, more authentic can definitely be found elsewhere. *Sigh* the Branzino Crab Imperial was DELICIOUS. When I tell you the fish was cooked to perfection, paired with the mashed potatoes in the lobster cream sauce was a literal pleasure to eat. Even the lemon buss with the meal everything on the plate complimented one another great. Then we had the best waiter, he was AMAZING very attentive and made sure that we had everything we needed from sit down to leaving. Which made the whole vibe of the restaurant comfortable, our first time experience ended up being so pleasant, it's the reason we return to this restaurant. This place is amazing! Went with the family for my birthday dinner. First time here. First of all, our waitress, Freckles, was amazing! Totally attentive, friendly, and made us feel welcomed. All of our food was delicious. They have this great deal, 2 pastas with either 2 salads or 1 appetizer and 1 dessert for $45. We all took advantage of that. I ordered the eggplant parmigiana- crispy, tasty, and a huge portion, with the Maggiano salad. I don't like blue cheese, which was in the salad, but I liked the flavors of it all. Other good ordered was; spaghetti and meatball (huge), Rigatoni D, pappardelle with beef and sausage, and sausage flatbread pizza. For dessert we got the tiramisu and creme brûlée, both amazing. For my birthday, she brought the lemon shortbread cookies arranged as a flower with a candle. The restaurant was full but it wasn't too loud. We could hear the music but also ourselves. My party of 3 was serviced at the bar area on a table top. Our waiter was delightful personality wise but a bit on the slow side getting some things for our table. He had asked if we wanted balsamic vinegar with our bread and olive oil for the table but never brought it. The ambiance at the bar area was what you'd expect. Nothing fancy and it was the only seating available on a Friday at 6pm which was pretty lucky for those with no reservations. The table shared stuffed mushrooms which were beyond delicious but definitely not light. I had a center cut filet mignon with mashed potatoes and asparagus. The filet was a bit more rare than I had wanted but still edible around the edges. The mash was very thick and bland and the asparagus was too soggy and oily. Overall it was the leanest option they had so that was good enough for me. I like the fact that they list the calories of each entree and you get to see how much your consuming which is very helpful. The other two people at the table had him a card with angel hair pasta, and the other person had eggplant parmigiana and they both liked it. Overall this was a decent meal but definitely a pricy one. 3 entree, 1 soda, 2 cocktails, 1 kids ice cream + tax was over $130. I believe this was a bit too pricey for not being executed the way I had requested but it is what it is. After this mediocre food experience, I don't think I'll be going to Maggianos anytime soon. But I do hope that the food improves as well as the customer service in the hostess area. Being friendly with a smile and professional goes a very long way-- you'd be surprised. For now I wouldn't really recommend Maggiano's based on this experience but maybe next time-- if there is a next time. read more

The hostess was not at all friendly when the hostess set us at our table it was like she didn't know which table to put us at. Tonight, Saturday 10/05/24, we came here after the misfit parade and the service was abysmal. The food came out quickly but was cold. How someone can mess up baked ziti is beyond me. They were cheap with the meat, the sauce was bland, and overall the dish lacked flavor. I didn't even eat it and wouldn't even pack it for my dog. The kids were ordered grilled chicken, mashed potatoes and broccoli. The chicken literally tasted like a dirty grill. My son just spit it out my daughter would even touch it and ate the salad and butter pasta. The ambiance was just as bad as the food and service. They cram too many people in tight spaces to where you can even have a conversation as it's small and noisy. Overall, the dining experience was absolutely horrible. read more

I've never been to a Maggiano's but I always heard it was a nice place to have slightly upscale Italian-American food. Actually, one of my former cooks worked at this particular location as a second job for a while and loved it so I had high hopes coming in. We made a reservation for 6pm but we got there at 540pm. We were seated immediately, even though it was quite busy in the restaurant. Our server (I wish I remembered her name) was amazing. She spent the right amount of time with us, explaining things but not overly explaining. She gave great recommendations and she was just lovely. My boyfriend afterwards told me he thought she was the ultimate in professional servers. We had to wait for bread for the table. It actually came out right before our entrees, which we thought was kind of a good thing since we both love and hate filling up on bread before our meal. They have a special where you can buy an entrée and get a classic pasta for $5. We absolutely took advantage of this. They come at the end of the meal, packed and chilled. I actually ate mine for lunch today and was very pleased at how easy to reheat it was. The food was really good. The portions are huge and we did not have any real issues with anything. My boyfriends steak was perfectly cooked and seasoned well. The pasta here is perfectly al dente and goes great with the tasty sauces. I especially loved the dressing on the Italian chopped salad. Chef's kiss! I like the idea of restaurants giving us QR codes to pay nowadays but for some reason it didn't work for me (it never does at other places either for some reason) but our server was quick on the uptake and saw the spinning wheel of death on my phone and I was able to give her my CC and she took care of it. We've already made plans to come back with our families and check out the family meal deal. YUM! If I had any complaints, the hostess stand is in a weird location and I shouldn't have to either wait for entire families to walk past me or brush up against strangers to leave or use the restroom. read more

This location is conveniently located off of 215 in Downtown Summerlin. This is my first time at this location, but I have been to several locations throughout the United States. I made a reservation online. There were two people in my party. We got the Amore meal for two which included two side salads or one appetizer, two wines, two entrees, and two desserts for $90. When we arrived, we were greeted. We were one of six parties that came in with a reservation at the same time. There seem to be plenty of waitstaff awaiting our arrival for dinner. Our waiter was Jake. Jake was awesome. He made sure to answer any questions we had about menu items, as well as making suggestions. What stood out about Jake was that he took the time to find out if any of us had a food allergy. That's something that is rarely asked of customers when dining out. To take it another level of superior customer service, the chef will even come to your table and walk you through the menu to ensure that no one receives food or dessert that they are allergic to. Now, back to Jake. Jake constantly checked on us to see if we needed anything and to ensure that we had an excellent experience. The place was dimly lit to create a quiet atmosphere. It wasn't noisy like it can get at some restaurants although there were people at tables all around us. For the appetizer, we got Zucchini Fritte. The drinks were Pomegranate Margarita and Prosecco. The entrees were the Blackened Salmon and Shrimp Scampi. Cheesecake was the dessert we both chose. While the Pomegranate Magarita is a popular drink, it tasted like some kind of medicine. The Blackened Salmon was spicy and had a little kick to it, so if you don't care for or cannot have spicy foods, then this will not be for you. Also, the Blackened Salmon had a spinach, red peppers, onions, and what looked like jalapeños. The Shrimp Scampi was excellent and came with spaghetti noodles in a lemony sauce. The portion size is big. We couldn't eat the entire meal and had leftovers. We took the dessert to go. I'm not sure how often Jake works but if you have the opportunity to have him as your waiter, you won't be disappointed. I was so impressed with Jake and the care taken with each and every guest there, I just had to let the manager know. Many times when someone asks for a manager, they think it's a complaint. I just wanted the manager to know what great care Jake and the rest of the staff took that evening. If you like Italian food or you just want to try something different, then don't hesitate to give this Maggiano's location a try. You definitely won't be disappointed. read more

This was my first time at Maggianos. I had been wanting to try it for years but for some reason it just never happened. I decided to book us a table for this Mother's Day. I chose this location over the strip to maybe avoid the crowd. When we arrived we had a reservation so we were seated rather quickly. I wasn't aware they were doing a specific menu and at first I was bummed. We were able to pick two appetizers, two entrees, two pastas, two salads, and two desserts! It was honestly the best of everything. I was a little skeptical thinking this place might just be an overpriced Olive Garden but honestly everything was so delicious we walked outta there looking 3 months pregnant! It was also a sort of all you can't eat (if you finished the dish) you could order more- definitely bang for your buck for mother's days. The cheesecake was better than the tiramisu in my opinion and I'm a tiramisu gal. The mozzarella sticks stole the show! Our server was very nice and attentive for it being a busy day. The first time we went the food was so good and the atmosphere/customer service was excellent. They had a meal for 2 for $70, it came with starter salads, entree and a dessert. With this deal we were out the door for about $85 with drinks and tips. It was really good for the price and portions were incredible. Now 2nd time around, they have revamped their menu, prices and portions. There's no longer that deal and the food was quite literally not worth our bill of almost $100 for 2. We ordered 2 fountain drinks and the antipasto ($20 for 2) which was actually the only good thing because of the truffle and honey whipped ricotta. Then we had the wagyu stuffed shells ($30) and the "finest" fettuccine Alfredo with Parmesan crusted chicken ($29). The Alfredo used to be so good and cheesy now it's this watery sauce that is bland and lacks creaminess. The wagyu shells were just good but nothing to write home about. Also I have to point out that our server the first time offered freshly grated Parmesan on our pastas and this time around looks like they got rid of that option. This Maggiano's location offers Italian food that always satisfies, however for the price there are many other options around Summerlin. Typically we would come earlier weeknights, around 5:30 pm and the service is great and not very crowded. This time we came Saturday at 4:45 and it was a compelte madhouse. Tables were positioned directly next to each other, we felt like sardines. We all had our chairs continually bumped throughout the night. The food again was fine-the service was lacking. We were asking multiple times to pass around drinks, plates, etc-the tables were too tight for the servers to move around easily to give drinks to each person. We ordered one round of drinks and were not offered more after the empty glasses were taken away about 30 minutes after arriving and finishing them. We typically are offered the $5 take home meals which we always say yes to and order 4-5, but this time they were not mentioned at all. We really just wanted to get out of the restaurant and away from the uncomfortable seating arrangement. The prices are more fine dining but the experience unfortunately is not. If you come here, I would advise coming weeknights only. Even the bread that was brought to the table was hard, not soft as it usually is when we come. Some of our favorite things to order are the mushroom ravioli (my personal favorite!), chicken parm, & linguini clams. We typically like the shrimp fra diavolo but this time the shrimp were over cooked and there wasn't enough pasta in the dish. For desert, I would recommend the sampler since everything is delicious! The butter cake and cheesecake are my absolute faves. I wish I could give more stars but the experience we had on Saturday was so underwhelming. The space is just not big enough for the amount of people they cram in there and it's extremely uncomfortable. If I'm spending $30 for a pasta dish I expect a little more from the service and atmosphere. read more
