We both got the wedge salads. I got the Spaghetti and Meatballs and Meat Sauce and she got the Chicken Francese (an extra $5). We then shared Gigis Butter Cake. Everything came out hot, fresh and full of flavour. The service was impeccable and for a Monday night, the restaurant was pretty quiet. This is the 4th time we have eaten at Maggiano's, and it never disappoints. To save you time, if you want delicious pasta, go to Brio. If you want pasta that you can expect to be consistent every single time, and tastes good with great ambiance, come to Maggiano's. Make sure you always reserve before you come in here, cause if you don't, expect a long wait. Otherwise, if you made that reservation, you usually get seated within 4-5 minutes of checking in. Lately, Maggiano's has been providing hard cover menus, which is much better than previous QR code menus. We were greeted by our server with some fresh bread and olive oil with balsamic vinegar, which is always superb. We placed our orders and received our appetizer approximately 20 minutes later. It was quite busy when we arrived and we noticed that people sitting around us before we arrived barely got their food before we got our appetizer. This is uncommon as previous times we visited, food came out in about 10-15 minutes. The appetizer we had was the Fresh Tomato Bruschetta, which was not amazing, yet not terrible. There's just something about a mixture of balsamic vinegar, olive oil, and tomatoes with some salt that tastes pretty nice. The thing about that combination is the few ingredients better be of good quality, otherwise, it will just taste mediocre. This visit, the mediocre happened and it was just okay. The pieces of toasted baguette that came with the Bruschetta is not too consistent in either being too hard, or soft in the middle. My main entree was the Linguine De Mare, which contained had a decent amount of shrimp, about 6 pieces, and a bit of lobster, probably at most 2oz of lobster. It does come with a good amount of clams and mussels, which is good if you love shellfish. The spicy lobster tomato soup that all the seafood and linguine rests in doesn't really have a pronounced lobster flavor as the description would suggest. The lobster tomato soup does the job of providing some flavors but seafood-ish with the tiniest hint of spiciness is the extent I would describe the flavor profile. Value-wise, the Bruschetta is not worth it, unless you want to risk whether or not the tomatoes are especially fresh and in-season. The Linguine De Mare feels like it is worth it due to the sheer volume of mussels and clams you get, and they are cleaned pretty well. If you like shellfish you will love this. If you decide to come to Maggiano's, I would suggest their classic pasta's such as their fettuccini alfredo or their spaghetti and meat sauce. You get a good amount of pasta and a good amount of flavor for a reasonable price. I can say for sure that Maggiano's fettuccini alfredo is amazing and tastes as an alfredo should. Creamy but not overpowering with a hint of parmesan umami flavor. Add some black pepper and you got yourself something amazing. read more

This is the first time we have had a negative experience and we are debating not returning due to the poor service and clear discrimination shown towards me being handicapped. Our last visit, on Jan 26th, we received amazing service and felt accommodated. We were walk ins and were appreciative that at first, we thought we were being seated on a spot to accommodate my wheelchair but we did not realize that this would be actually be the worst place to seat us. The reason being, we were segregated away from any other eating patrons and put behind a wall, behind the bar. This would not have been a problem if the service had been professional. When our waitress came to our table we did not receive a welcoming and she never offered her name. She did although let us know that she had been there since 10:30 and wouldn't leave until 9 or 10 that night. We sympathized although it was clear from that moment on, she was not interested in smiling or in general being attentive. The only reason we received 1 refill of water and tea was due to waving another employee down. The food itself was ok and likely would have been better if the overall mood at our table had been better but it's hard to enjoy a meal when you have a waitress making it obvious they're annoyed serving you and compound that with sitting alone in the dining area while the other half of restaurant keeps receiving patrons. Upon leaving, the male host (not host with glasses) asked how our experience was and I voiced it was disappointing on the lack of service, especially considering we have had great experiences in past visits. He brushed my comment off with "you sat in the area behind the bar and she had other tables so of course she can't take care of you guys more often". If this was the case, why would they sit us in a spot knowing we would receive poor service. We ordered several food items: Appetizer: Bombalina - this was a sampler plate, it had crispy zucchini, mozzarella balls, garlic bread and calamari fritte. The zucchini was fairly salty for me, I had to scrape some of the seasoning from the top. The mozzarella balls were good, it was my go to. Be careful - it was hot! The garlic bread was really hard...I had to rip it apart to in order to eat it properly. And the calamari was okay - it was small, but felt a little on the oily side for me. The appetizer was probably the downside for me, because I didn't want to eat anymore after a few tries. So hubby ate what he could. For our entrees: Husband: he got the traditional spaghetti and meatball - it was a large meatball. The portion size was huge! It was seasoned well and you can't go wrong with it. My husband couldn't finish it all - so it took to go. I got the linguine del mare: This dish has lobster, shrimp, clams and mussels. I am a huge fan of seafood - so when I saw my plate, it was piled with mussels. The tomato sauce had a nice kick and was refreshing. The shrimp and clams were sweet and plump. The mussels were yummy too, but there was a lot to dig through with the shells. But totally worth it! Maggiano's is always a winner. It's a good place to go for both casual and formal occasions. The food is always well-cooked and delicious. The complimentary bread is never stale. I usually order the spaghetti with meat sauce, ravioli, or Fettuccine Alfredo. I recommend anyone thinking of getting the Spaghetti with Meatball to instead get the Spaghetti with Meat Sauce as the meatball can be a little too much meat in a bite. The meat sauce allows for a better ratio of pasta and meat in a bite in my opinion. I ordered Fettuccine Alfredo during this visit. As always, it was made really well and I was highly satisfied. The waiter was very friendly and welcoming. He gave me free lemon cookies at the end of my meal to wish me a happy birthday. I haven't tried very many of the desserts offered at Maggiano's but the lemon cookies are always good. I have been a Maggiano's fan for almost couple decades. I have been going from when I lived in Nor Cal (San Jose) location, So Cal, and when I moved to Vegas, the one near fashion show. This is by far the worst Maggiano's I have ever eaten at. I had come here when the first opened this location and found the place dirty and service not what I am used to at Maggiano's. I revisited on April 29, 2022 despite my husband reminding me I did not care for this location. I wanted to give a second chance. Still dirty inside, still horrible service, & still chaotic. Though we had reservations it took at least 20 mins to get us seated (understandable), weekend dinner rush. And that's where my understanding stopped. Waiter was barely present. We got one child's order (1/3) and my husbands side salad, before the appetizer. Eventually received our drinks (adult drinks not water) my wine glass had crusted on food. And interior was dirty as well. Eventually they brought out rest of the orders at least 45 mins after my son got his order. Then they got my daughters order incorrect, that had to be remade. My favourite dish for last almost two decades has been Our Famous Rigatoni "D" which has Marsala cream sauce, I thought my husband is the only person who could screw up this dish but no, I can hand the award to this location, my sauce tasted like cream, herbs, and chicken broth only, it's like they forgot it needs Marsala wine. Chicken piccata (my husband order) did not have lemon in the sauce....seems like that's standard across most restaurants that serve this dish. They brought wrong sides to our table (which we did not order) The broccoli is just steamed broccoli may or may not have butter, but apparently this location is terrified of using spices of any sort. No salt, pepper, garlic, nothing, just soggy broccoli. We were so disappointed in service, and trying to get our waiters attention, we did not even stay for dessert, my favourite cookies I always always get where not ordered because we couldn't stand being in the restaurant. 2hrs from when we sat down to get all our meals. And within 25 mins of receiving we were all just wanted to leave. At the end we get our bill, and we were charged for two sides and childs meal we did not order, I brought to waiters attention and he apologized and said thanks for noticing.....okay of course I will notice. My family and I like coming here. I was bummed they changed the menu and don't have gnocchi anymore. We got the family meal for 4. The Caesar salad was a normal caesar. We had calamari and meatball appetizers. Calamari is always good. Lightly breaded with a touch of salt and marinara sauce on the side. The calamari is tender. Meatball appetizer has 2 good size meatballs in marinara sauce. We had double chicken fettuccine alfredo, lasagna, and chicken piccata. The fettuccine was hard and under cooked but that's ok because we didn't eat it all so when we ate it for leftovers it was prefect. Lasagna was average. Not like a homemade lasagna. Chicken piccata was tasty and not too oily. It would be nice with a side of angel hair pasta but we had enough food so didn't order the side pasta. The dessert sampler. Tiramisu, creme brulee, cheesecake, apple turnover with ice cream, and the mini gigi's butter cake with strawberries. The creme brulee wasn't good. The sugar top tasted like burnt gas so it was unedible. Good thing we ate it last because it left a burnt gas taste in our mouth. The gigi's was really sweet since it's a mini there's not enough cake ratio for the sweetness which was disappointing because the regular size gigi's is awesome! The cheesecake, apple turnover with ice cream, and tiramisu were good. Service was average. We had to ask him to refill drinks, remind him to bring more bread after we had requested more bread, and we asked for the lasagna to go but he brought it to the table. He was pretty busy and I felt like the server was really trying but he was over his capacity. I been to this place twice one with my three kids and once with my best friend Laura and our kids which is a big family out together. Both visits have been a great experience and the food is amazing Chef Gary is top notch and and out waiter Johnny on top of it the minute we walk in to the minute walk out. This was a very expensive place to go and not enjoy the meal. We had reservations and arrived early. We still waited ten minutes. After getting seated we ordered sodas and waited almost ten minutes for them. We ordered family style. There pace of service was so slow. I am not sure if it was our server or the kitchen, since there were empty tables. I was excited to order gluten free, since my sister and friends raved about the food here. The gluten free pasta options we choose were DRY AND UNDER COOKED. I requested extra sauce but it didn't help. We ordered two different ones!! Both were dry and under cooked. No welcome to maggiano's , no smiles, no nothing. I've been in the restaurant business and front of the house makes dining out more welcoming. Never been here before but heard a lot about the spot. We went to the summerlin location during lunch time and it was quite packed until we started eating then the crowd came in. The host could've been more friendly but looks like she wasn't having it that day. The server that we had was extra nice so that made up for the host. Food was fulfilling, we got the Marco meal for two which was worth it. We was full from our main and appetizer but still had the butter cake which was worth trying. What happened?! Maggianos wasn't the most amazing Italian food but it always was dependable. I see maggianos as a more upgraded version of Olive Garden. However, my recent experience was very mediocre. Got sat and the table was still super wet. My booth had bread crumbs everywhere still on the seat. Had crab cakes as appetizers, the crab tasted like tuna, just seemed like it was a tv dinner type crab cake. Our server was the hardest person to get a hold of, and just took forever to get simple things like a straw for our drinks. They have to step it up big time at this location. read more

It had been about 2 years since I was here and the change is astonishingly. Sort of like seeing an acquaintance you haven't seen in a few years who has been ravaged by a terminal illness in the interim; like wow, sad, that escalated quickly, can't linger much longer. Nice hostess reception and we were seated promptly and then the triage began. Service was at times fair, at best, but largely inadequate. Oil poured for bread, but no bread; we were intermittently rushed and ignored, languished for water, check delivered while my dinner companion was still eating were some of our service or lack thereof highlights. Our pitcher of sangria tasted like it was made from a premade mix and not even one iota of fruit to distract from its barely passible mediocrity. Then came my overly chilled Maggiano's salad, so cold that even the bacon on top wanted a coat, but at least it was keeping the enormous lettuce core warm underneath. Fortunately our entrees hedged up into the adequate zone, both the CHICKEN FRANCESE and MOM'S LASAGNA were Syscoish ok. What later followed was my dining buddy getting sick, he said the tiramisu tasted off and labeled that as the culprit. Usually with meals like that I'm always filled with gratitude that I don't have to live with it, except I made the egregious mistake of taking home a portion of the Fettuccine Alfredo with Herb-Roasted Chicken. # 1799 Banquet Room - small room but there was a separate entrance too - seven tables for guests - there were two tables, one in the corner, was for gifts - and a photo booth for two hours (printed out copies)- I think this was a paid feature, though (separate from the restaurant). The ambiance was nice. It was very dim, though. Excellent service - the staff was attentive, refilling my iced tea, as needed. Glasses of water were on each table before guests arrived. Appetizers: stuffed mushrooms (very good), bruschetta (the tomatoes were chunky, the seasoning was good), and bread basket (I skipped this but it looked very rustic and was cut very thick). Sides: mashed potatoes (good), steamed broccoli (no seasoning, but I added pepper), macaroni and cheese (very cheesy, very good, and I added pepper). Entrees: I had the salmon which was excellent and paired with a very creamy arugula salad. Others at my table had the 16 oz. ribeye (medium), and chicken (light crust, two pieces). My nephews had the chicken (which they said was good) to the surprise of my sister and brother-in-law who had the ribeye (a tad too red for my liking). Dessert: lemon cookies (shaped like a half moon) and cheesecake (very light) This was my niece's wedding reception on friday afternoon. It was a nice event. Thank You to the staff, again. We were not hungry. Everything was delicious. I was curious about the other entrees like the eggplant parmesan. I didn't really notice what the other guests were having because I was eating my salmon (I don't have it enough). I have heard good things in the past, about the other location. Went there last night to celebrate my friends birthday.
