    Chicken Marsala

OUTSTANDING! EXCEPTIONAL!! FANTASTIC!! FABULOUS!! From making the reservation to leaving the restaurant, Maggiano's made us feel like the most important people in the world. We were greeted with a smile and willingness to serve immediately upon entering the restaurant. Since we had a reservation they knew exactly how many seats and high chairs were needed. We were seated within 1 minute. The service was the BEST we've had in such a long time. Anthony was our server. He gave us his recommendations and served us in such a way that actually made him seem as if he was part of our family. He was AWESOME! The ambiance was amazing. It was such a large space and set up with such elegance. The food was OUTSTANDING!! Kudos to the chef!! My husband ordered the Chicken Marsala. He cleaned his plate and said they were the BEST he's had in a long time. I ordered whatever Anthony recommended(I don't think it's even on the menu). It was a Seabass with Brazino Crab Imperial on top with mashed potatoes and asparagus. It was AMAZING!! My son in law told our server(Anthony) to surprise him with whatever dish he thinks is best. I wish I had a picture, but it was a pasta dish with red sauce, shrimp, spinach and I'm not even sure what else but my son in law LOVED it an that speaks volume because he is really picky about his food. The overall experience was FANTASTIC! We will definitely be back again. This place is doing everything PERFECTLY. The customer service is the absolute BEST! You will walk out feeling fully satisfied and important. If you haven't been to Maggiano's, you are definitely missing out. At least try it once, it's soooooooooo worth it.

First time to this location in Downtown Summerlin. It's a very big and pretty restaurant inside with a nice entry and water feature outside. I met three friends for lunch. Service was excellent and we all enjoyed our meals. The side salad would be plenty for lunch but I also ordered the spaghetti with meatballs in marinara sauce so I could bring some of both home. Bread there is also delicious. On the sweet side with a buttered top and salt. Yummy creamy butter. Delicious. I had water. Mine was $46 with tip. About three meals for me. Nice quality and expected prices.

The best place to celebrate any special occasion and dine. The place is elegant and clean. We came here wanting to order à la carte until our server explained the $50-per-person menu. You will get 2 salads, 2 appetizers, 4 to choose from the main dish, and 3 desserts. You don't have to finish all of them. You can bring it home as your to-go. We enjoyed and it was worth the money for $50. Shout out for our server. I complete his name but he is Filipino. He deserves recognition.

We come here once a year for my sister birthday, we spent around $170 for our party of 5, it was amazing as per usual. The service is always super friendly, our server Richard got or orders perfectly and was super accommodating. We all loved our individual dishes. I got the lasagna dish and it was great, big enough for leftovers. We were sat in a corner booth so it was very quiet and we had plenty of room. The ambiance of the restaurant is great. The water is also extremely pure and tastes great. 10/10

First time eating here we have been going around looking for a place that has a private section for a party event. We found that maggianos had a decently big room that can accommodate up to 70 people, our party is about 50 so perfect. The family loved the ambiance of the place, a very old school style American Italian cuisine restaurant. Ambiance 8/10. Their menu had a very good range of dishes so it was able to satisfy our families needs. The wife had the salmon with shrimp and that was nice and delicious, the kiddos had pasta from the kids menu which was quite big portion so happy about that, and I had the fried zucchini and calamari. Food was a 8/10. Service is what made things extra good. Our waiter Johnny P was extremely helpful and made the family enjoy the time there. Very prompt with drink refills and with anything else we needed. Service 9/10. Overall great family restaurant and even though the restaurant was on the pricier end I would most definitely return and recommend to others this place!!

Every single time we have been here has been fantastic. We enjoy this location especially, because parking is easy and we like to walk around the downtown Summerlin mall afterwards to shop and walk off a little of our amazing dinner. Our most recent visit was last night, where we had Tyler as our server. He was THE BEST. It was my mom's birthday and he helped make it very special. The entire staff was attentive and friendly. We did the family style dinner which is $50 per person (beverage not included) and it is worth every penny. They bring out two types of salad, you get your choice of two appetizers, you get a choice of four entrees, and then they bring out the best desserts. If you run low on anything that you'd like more of, just ask for a refill and they will bring it. We went home with so many leftovers! I also have to say...they changed the complimentary bread and it is SO GOOD. They are warm, soft, sweet rolls with a little sea salt on top and WOW! Honestly this was one of my favorite parts of the whole meal. I don't miss the old bread at all. A year and a half ago, we had a reception for my parents 40th wedding anniversary in their private banquet rooms. They accommodated 40 of our closest friends and family, and the entire process of booking the venue, choosing our menu, and the reception itself was flawless. All in all, we love Maggiano's and we will continue coming back!

A Peach Bellini with a red wine swirl started my lunch off with a bang! Met up with a friend for our annual holiday meet up. I was really surprised as I thought the restaurant would be busier than it was but we were seated quickly and the place was pretty quiet. Maggiano's is conveniently located at Downtown Summerlin with plenty of parking both self and valet. We shared their house salad with homemade house dressing. I was not aware that they make all their own sauces and dressing in house. I absolutely loved the salad dressing. Next I enjoyed their Famous Fettuccine Alfredo with shrimp and my friend loved her Chicken Piccata. Pricing is fair and we had really great service!

Have been to the Maggiano's in Santana Row in San Jose, CA numerous times, and decided to give this downtown Summerlin location a try. The restaurant is spacious, open, and up-scale looking. Since we came on a weekday night, it wasn't very crowded and wasn't noisy. The two of us ate family style and shared the Italian Chopped Salad, Chicken Piccata, and Lasagna. For dessert, we had their New York Style Cheesecake. Service was excellent, warm bread and butter were brought to us promptly. Our water was filled without asking. Loved the bread, nice and warm and soft. Food came out at a good pace. The Italian Chopped Salad was very good, it came with a variety of fresh ingredients: lettuce, red onions, tomatoes, Kalamata olives, pepperoncini, house made croutons, Mozzarella cheese, and Vinaigrette. The olives were very salty and the croutons were not crunchy. Otherwise it was a very enjoyable salad. The Lasagna was huge! It came with beef and Italian sausage, and it was delicious. The Chicken Piccata was also very substantial, and it was served with Spaghetti. The chicken was cooked with capers, spinach, and lemon butter. It was very tasty, only a little bit dry. The spaghetti was very yummy. The Nee York Style Cheesecake was pretty good and filling. Overall, it was a very good value. Prices are very reasonable for such a nicely decorated place, and portions are very generous. We had lots of leftover to take home.

We decided to give Maggiano's a try after a long absence. It's easy to make a reservation on their website, and we were seated right away. The server was very attentive, friendly, and professional. They are definitely going for an upscale ambience inside with dark woods and black leather booths. Very classy with many pictures of the "rat pack" and other celebrities of the past on the walls. I had the pomegranate martini cocktail which was fresh, ice cold, and delicious and was poured table side. We had the fried mozzarella starter which had a crispy coating and gooey cheese, but it was actually quite salty. I had the chicken francese entree. The chicken was tender and tasty with a light sauce. The accompanying potatoes were good, but because they were on the same plate as the entree and absorbed the sauce, they were not at all crispy as promised. I would suggest serving these on a side plate to retain their crispness. For dessert we had the apple crostada which was perfect for two to share and was quite delicious. It was sort of like an apple pie and apple turnover combined with a caramel sauce. Indulgent but good! Overall we really enjoyed this dining experience!!

    Branzino Crab Imperial

Had an amazing experience for dinner! Anthony was our server and was impeccable. Did a great job, gave us great recommendations. We started with the zucchini frites, sausage flatbread, mozzarellas. All were fantastic!! Everything was well executed. We ordered 2 bottles of Napa cab wine. We ordered the following Baked ziti : WOW! They outdid themselves, serving was HUGE and flavor was fantastic and super cheesy. Chicken Marsala: the wine reduction sauce was fantastic, 2 pieces of chicken and mash potatoes! Highly recommend Chicken parm: was delicious, perfectly breaded and the red sauce was spectacular! Branzino: it was really good was topped with crab and had a lobster sauce on a bed of mash potatoes. Italian chop salad : amazing and highly recommend. Very flavorful! The kids got Mac and cheese / chicken fettuccine and it was sooo cheesy and delicious. Huge portions as well. Ambiance was a vibe, hectic atmosphere amaizng service all around. Will definitely be back.

We stopped into Maggiano's at Downtown Summerlin on a Saturday evening before heading to an Aviators game. Since we didn't have a reservation, we were seated on the patio, which actually worked out nicely given how great the weather has been lately. For future reference, though, I'd say the patio is best if you're in no rush or don't expect frequent check-ins from the staff--it felt like servers don't come through the outside area as often, and it seemed a bit inconvenient for them to bring items like water or silverware out. Because of that, we had a tough time getting water refilled, placing orders quickly, or replacing silverware after plates were cleared. Service overall just moved slower than inside. As for the food, while it's still enjoyable, we both felt like it's not quite as good as it was a few years ago. The flavors and quality have changed a bit. That said, it was still solid enough for us to enjoy, and since we weren't in a rush, we didn't mind the slower pace this time. In the end, it's not a perfect experience, but we'd still come back--especially because the food is satisfying enough and the location is convenient before catching a game or walking around downtown summerlin.

A resounding YES was the reply when we asked if it was still happy hour (at 536pm). Happy Hour (Daily) is 3 PM - 6 PM with $7 fancy margaritas and snacks including ceviche, guac, queso, empanadas and chicken or carnitas street tacos. We were hungry and thirsty. She asked if we wanted to start with (thick warm) chips and salsa. YES, PLEASE! Wished the chips were saltier, but too lazy to ask for salt (which just causes water retention anyway). Salsa thin and almost smooth, with clear pieces of roasted red jalapeno pepper yes chipotle baby! Busy solo, our bartender eventually came around for our drink orders, and we both chose fancy margaritas. My Black (Berry) and Basil may have been the perfect cocktail ever. Sugar rimmer made sticky hands, but OMG I loved this sweet boozy concoction. Hubs ordered a Spicy Piña with pineapple and jalapeno slices. When he was about half done the bartender came around with extra and filled his glass again. Leftovers from the shaker, OH Yeah! While munching on the chips and salsa we decided on the chicken street tacos and the shrimp ceviche. The ceviche came in a small bowl with a huge pile of more chips. We probably could have eaten two orders of the shrimp part though! Rough chopped shrimp, peppers, onions tomatoes and a light broth were perfect on this hot day. The tacos were small on very soft fresh corn tortillas with a good portion of shredded chicken tinga. I was able to add the avocado that my husband removed from his ceviche and round out these tacos, which were only topped with cheese and sauce. Maybe some cabbage would be good here? These were just ok but I was hungry. Alas, the potent concoctions were enough that I only required one. I really wanted to get the spicy mango margarita too. When I corrected her, it was clear she realized the assumption backfired, but there was no acknowledgment or apology, which made the interaction feel even more uncomfortable. The chili was especially disappointing honestly inedible.
