Happy Valentine Day! We started our favorite Appetizer, fried Zucchini Fritte. I think we dreamed about them. I had the Crabcake Appetizer with came with two. One comes home with me. The garnish salad was just enough. Hubs had Blackened Salmon with Spinach and Mashed Potatoes. He loved it. The Dinner Rolls were wonderful. Course Salted tops and bottoms. Service was great as always and ambience is wonderful because we married here and had our reception afterwards in the upstairs area. We will be back.

The portions are definitely generous and the pastas are rich and filling. That said, the dishes felt more heavy than memorable. Everything was good, but not quite at the level that makes you immediately want to come back. A little more freshness and balance would have elevated the experience. Service was attentive. Pricing is fair for the portion sizes, but the overall experience feels more about comfort and consistency than standout Italian cuisine. Overall, Maggiano's does the job when you're craving a hearty, no-fuss meal -- just don't expect anything particularly remarkable.

From the moment we walked in, we received a warm welcome from the super friendly staff. They even did us the huge favor of charging my phone, which we deeply appreciated since my husband and I are on a road trip from San Diego, California to Florida! So far, this has been the absolute best restaurant we've eaten at during our trip. Our waitress, Gabi, was incredibly friendly and walked us through their great menu variety. The portions were so generous and absolutely delicious that we were too full to try dessert! We will definitely be back. Thank you so much to everyone, everything here is excellent!!!

Went for lunch with my 1 year old and it was a good experience. As always, portions were quite large which meant leftovers. The crab cakes were delicious; the appetizer meatballs were also solid and loved by my baby! The kid's ravioli was also pretty good. Side Caesar salad was just okay.

Came for an event and decided to stay for dinner after. I have been to this location a couple times and I always have the best service and the food is pretty good too! Our server tonight was Christian and he was fantastic! Very helpful with the menu, checked in on us to make sure we were enjoying our meal and just overall very kind and warm. The bread was a table favorite, its light and fluffy with thick flaky salt and perfectly complimented by the butter. I really enjoyed the chicken piccata, it had a perfect lemony, buttery sauce with a great acidic kick from capers. The portions are pretty big so we did take food to-go and they were nice enough to bring us some fresh bread to take home too. A good meal with great company and service!

I recently dined at Maggiano's Little Italy, and it was such a comforting and delicious experience. We started with the Wagyu meatball appetizer, and it was absolutely worth it -- tender, flavorful, and rich without being overwhelming. You could really taste the quality of the meat, and the sauce paired beautifully with it. For my entrée, I ordered their famous Chicken Rigatoni, and I now understand why it's a favorite. The pasta was perfectly cooked, the sauce was creamy and savory, and the chicken was seasoned just right. Every bite felt indulgent yet balanced. My friend had the Chicken Fettuccini, and it was just as satisfying -- creamy, hearty, and full of flavor. It's the kind of dish that feels like classic Italian comfort food done right. And I cannot forget the sweet bread -- heavenly delicious. Soft, warm, and slightly sweet, it was the perfect start to the meal and honestly hard to stop eating. Let's not forget the outstanding service and attentiveness of our waitress! Thank you! Overall, the atmosphere, the flavors, and the generous portions made it such a wonderful dining experience. I would definitely come back again.

Staff is friendly. The food is good. This was my first time dining in at this location. The vibe is nice and just like other maggianos. We came to celebrate an anniversary. The waitress was friendly but we felt rushed and weren't able to really just sit and enjoy our meal. There was also a bunch of kids screaming loudly so we ended up just getting our food to go.

Ambiance: Nice-casual Italian eatery in The Galleria area with a large menu and ample seating options. Great spot for a date night, family lunch, or solo dinner at the bar. Perfect for celebrating any occasion given their expansive menu. Highly recommend their crab cakes and house salad! Great portion size for the price. Nicely decorated and good service. Maggiano's is one of the better chain Italian restaurants IMO. Decent wine list and drink options. Parking onsite. Close to many other shops/restaurants.

Calamari Fritte was delicious as usual !

Galantine Luncheon for large group at Maggiano's Little Italy at Galleria Uptown was a hit! Hosted by financial and architectural groups Calamari Fritte was one of the appetizers we liked best, but all were outstanding. Roasted salmon on a bed of tender spinach Was superb along with rigatoni and chicken Marsala! We tried everything. The sumptuous chocolate cake and tiramisu put the finishing touches on a delicious and informative luncheon- The waiters were carefully orchestrated and efficient in both serving and getting dishes on and off the table speedily and effortlessly! We never waited to be served or for dishes to be cleared, since all worked beautifully and in harmony!! Amazing . Well done, Maggiano's Little Italy and JLK Financial and RD Archtecture! Your Galantine luncheon for clients was a huge success from beginning to end! !! Thank you!

We hosted our Christmas office staff party here of around 150 people. We have had many events here in the past. We are never disappointed with the food and excellent service at Maggianos! Such a beautiful restaurant and in a gorgeous location! As always, the family style entrees are perfect for the large tables. And the desserts were over the top this year! Butter cake with strawberries (the table went crazy) and how can you go wrong with a rich chocolate cake? (Picture below) Keep on keeping on Maggianos! We love you!

Everything was delicious: G+T, Tiramisu Martini, Veal Parmesan, Lobster Carbonara. The presentation of the veal was fire. The bacon in the carbonara is smokey, and they load you up on lobster.

Fantastic Bolognese Pasta awhile back !!!

The origami ceiling, lively bar, friendly staff, unique cocktails, fun bathroom, and photo booth in the corner made for an unforgettable experience. My friend said it was the busiest he had ever seen the place, and it was loud. But we got some awesome drinks that I swore I could've taken pics of -- the lighting was a little crazy, so I think I ultimately changed my mind with that. One was the periscope which was a refreshing and summery gin drink... And I think I tried the naked and famous too because I like mezcal. I had already eaten so I skipped the restaurant the speakeasy's connected to, but I cannot wait to return to Houston outside of a Con so I can really go all out on exploring. It was an amazing way to end my first night!

I didn't have a car and this place is conveniently across the street, so it became the default option. I remembered my first experience wasn't great, but I couldn't recall exactly why--this second visit quickly reminded me. When I ordered over the phone, I was a little taken aback to learn they don't use traditional Mexican white cheeses like Oaxaca or queso fresco--only mozzarella. That honestly stumped me, and the woman on the phone could probably tell by my pause. The tacos themselves were good, but very small. They also came with only one corn tortilla instead of the usual double tortilla you'd expect from street tacos. On top of that, the order was five tacos instead of the more common six for around the same price point ($14.99), which seems to be a growing trend but still feels disappointing. There were no complimentary chips and salsa, so I had to order those separately. The upside is that the salsa selection was actually pretty good. I also ordered fries, not realizing they were $7. While the portion was decent, they definitely didn't feel like a $7 side--more in the $4-$5 range. Overall, the tacos did satisfy my craving, but not enough to make this a go-to spot. Paparucho will likely remain a last-resort option for me when I'm craving Mexican food and don't have many other choices nearby.

I stopped in on a Friday evening for a night cap. The bar is a pretty decent size and they have their own parking lot. They have a large patio out front and there was plenty of seating indoors as well. It's a sports bar so there were a lot of TVs throughout. They also have arcade games including Skee Ball and Pop-A-Shot. The menu had beer, wine, and cider, but they do have a full bar. I didn't see any specialty cocktails on the menu so I just asked the bartender, Marc to make me a gin based cocktail. Marc came up with his version of a Corpse Reviver. It had a tart, yet fruity twist to it. I can't recall all of the ingredients he used, but I liked it. I also had a Gimlet which was really good. Marc informed me about The Railyard shot special. Any time a train rolls by, you can purchase a vodka based shot for $2. I'm not much of a shot person, but I went ahead and ordered a White Tea shot. It was really good. Everyone in the bar was friendly and I appreciated the diversity of the clientele. Super chill place, just as a dive should be.
