Place is really cool inside and the bar is set up nicely with all the screens you could want to watch your favorite game. Went in on Sunday 6:00 pm asked for a beer that took easily 10 minutes to sip on. I was in full view of two bartenders, who made a drink and chatted, poured a beer then chatted.... Next came the food order, burger nice and big and juicy, liked it. Fries decent but greasy. The onion rings were nice and crunchy, but extremely greasy. My cement mixer is generally good at tolerating grease, but this was bad, needed tums all the way home... BTW, the burger, fries and rings were split by my wife and I. She couldn't eat the breading on the rings due to the... yep grease. I don't send food back so we just ate what we could and left. I will likely not return or at least the onion rings and fries will not be in the order and I'll have already had a beer before I go back :-) read more

First time here and the place is nice - clean, bright and big. The menu is massive, so I was skeptical that the food would be good. I had the sriracha burger and steak skewers (sorry no pic) and both were better than expected. The steak skewers were very tender. The burger was large and the toppings seemed fresh. Only complaint is that the bun was really dry. It sort of crumbled when I picked it up. Service was odd. The place is big as I mentioned, so there were loads of servers. The wait staff and manager traded off service apparently as a normal process. So I interacted with 4, maybe 5 staff members. Order a refill from one and five minutes later someone else shows up with the drink. Asked for the check and five minutes later a new person shows up with the check. Not bad, but definitely didn't feel a "friendly" vibe. Very close to 4 stars. I will try again. Worth a visit for lunch. read more

After having a bad experience 2 months ago I swore I would not go back here but my daughter wanted to go, and this time was worse than the last. The service and food has gone down hill big time. My wife ordered a salad with grilled chicken and dressing on the side. Of course it came out drenched in dressing. They said they would get her a new one which took 25 minutes, my daughter and I finished our meals before her salad came back and this time it had cheese on it which my wife asked the first time cause she can't eat dairy. Came on a Sunday for a friends birthday. No waiting for a table which is nice, as you can't make reservations. The menu is huge and very reminiscent of a Cheesecake Factory. I like that they locally source a lot of their items. We had some egg rolls to start (Tex mex I believe), as well as Spinach and artichoke dip. Both had good flavor. I also had a lavender hibiscus punch cocktail which was really tasty. For dinner I had the Louisiana chicken which was really good. Portions were huge and prices were reasonable. I had a good experience at Maggie's. They did a great job with their renovations and it looks a lot nicer. I sat in the patio and felt like there was good space between customers. There was a lot of food items to pick from in their giant menu which was nice. I ordered the bang bang shrimp and chicken which came out pretty good and was a huge portion. The best part about my visit was the margarita and mule flights I did. I've never had such an experience and every single drink in the flight tasted very good! Maggie Mcflys is a pub style restaurant with bar style food. The menu is massive and about 20 pages long of food which makes it kinda hard to choose something. I respect a nice menu but with 200 items it seems like on the menu it takes a half a hour to see what you want. The table ordered apps and got the Mac n cheese bites and the spinach dip - both where decent but neither blew my mind. I ordered the wagyu beef burger with truffle fries. I ordered it medium rare and came just above medium and it also had mustard on it which it dident state in the description. I've had wagyu burgers from many places and here must be low quality since it was very bland and sadly the most expensive burger there. I want to give kudos to Matt at Maggie Mcflys at Brookfield, CT. I have ordered from them a number of times through Doordash. The last 2 orders were delivered incomplete. Only 1 of 2 orders was delivered. The first time they were out of order on one of the dinner selection. They sent me an email.... an EMAIL! 1 order was delivered. We are two people. Who thinks that's okay? Who monitors their email 24/7? NO ONE. I complained but Doordash did nothing. I ate it and reordered for my partner and my food was cold before it was redelivered. The second time I refused the order due to them not contacting me. We called Maggies and Matt handled our issue. He not only resent the whole order, but comped us. We ordered again, tonight. They were sold out of one of the menu items on our order. Matt called us directly to tell us they were Out Of Stock and offered us other options. THAT is customer service. THAT is Guest Service!!! Don't just eleminate the item, call the customer and offer them options. I am a rooms division manager for a local resort. I have to deal with all of the departments in my resort. I own my mistakes. This Maggie McFly's is in hometown of my friend Francis - Brookfield CT. The restaurant seems very recently renovated or very well cleaned - it was so spotless and hip. They have a great atmosphere, fantastic service, and a HUMUNGOUS menu! They have a drink menu alone that is like a phone book if you remember those? My wife and I went this past weekend for lunch. It wasn't very busy (but who is right now). Service was great, the waitress frequently stopped by to check in on how we were doing. They also provided complementary breadsticks (which were great). Our food was served extremely quickly and tasted fantastic. We'll definitely be going back again! COVID specifics: all of the servers and hosts were wearing masks. The tables are reasonably spaced apart, but given how it wasn't busy I'm not sure why we were placed relatively close to two other groups. Maggie's has quickly become one of our favorite go-tos! They have such a huge and diverse menu, there's always something to try, no matter what you're in the mood for! Good selection of apps, we love the Buffalo chicken egg rolls. We've tried several different entrees, all have been great! My current favorite is the Tuna poke Bowl, great flavor! Our party of four was celebrating a birthday and I was disappointed in the time it took to get out food and the lack of attention to detail from the staff. I'd say never order the Lamb Gyro and never expect the honey mustard to actually contain honey or mustard. The manager was inattentive and left the wait staff out to dry. When our food was delayed the poor waitress was unaware and when we brought it to her attention she rushed to the kitchen and still nothing. You'd think that the manager would come out and offer apologies instead he avoided our table like the plague. Recent lunch with my daughter and grandsons found us at Maggie's. The restaurant feels comfortable with plenty of booths and a large well appointed bar situated nicely in the surroundings . We were seated quickly and our waiter was attentive and efficient in getting our drink and food order . I had a 6 ounce glass of Cabernet which went perfectly with the Short Rib Grilled Cheese sandwich and a Caesar side salad. The three cheeses they used melted/ melded tastefully with the short rib pieces. So yummy! The dressing on the salad was a creamy and peppery balance - soo good! I snitched a bite of my grandson's chicken parmigiana which was an abundant serving .What a tasty bite it was! The chicken was cooked perfectly and the sauce was light and fresh . The menu itself holds quite an array of choices and everything we saw leave the kitchen looked just as tempting as what we chose . Food is good. Service could improve. I think the young bartenders could benefit significantly from bartending training. The bartender doing the training needs training. Pouring a beer the correct way is a good start, we watched all 3 bartenders pour beer the wrong way resulting in beer get dumped out. We also were slowly surrounded by dirty glasses seen in the photo attached. 5-6 employees were contributing the dirty glasses and the bartenders were just conversing as you can also see in the photo. We stopped in for a few drinks on a Friday night and had an okay experience! Despite not being very full, the wait was longer than I'd like for a cocktail and a few beers.
