This establishments theme is the most adorable thing I've ever seen. I couldn't help taking a bunch of pictures because it literally teleports you into a retro and nostalgic environment. The decor is wholesome and the food is better than what you'd find in a lunchbox. The people who served and assisted me were super welcoming and helpful so definitely give them a visit!

This place is a GEM! I used to work around the corner from here and the industrial park and absolutely fell in love with this place. Now I live a little bit over two hours away and every time I come to St. Louis I make sure I scheduled my trip where I can at least have one lunch at Maggie's. My former coworkers and friends have tried all of the sandwiches, lots of specials here, but I can't stop myself from ordering the Cobb salad with green goddess dressing. I nicknamed it years ago as "crack salad "because I am absolutely addicted to it.

Maggie's was so delicious! The staff was super helpful and nice and the decor is cute. Everything was clean. I would definitely recommend!

A+ potato salad and chicken sandwich. Bites were taken before I took this pic

This place makes a perfect grilled chicken sandwich. It comes with lettuce, tomato, bacon, provolone and a tasty mayo. You can also get it fried. The chicken was fresh off the grill and the toppings were fresh. The sandwich comes with a side and I chose their potato salad - it was an excellent creamy potato salad without being too rich. I got my order to go and the service was kind and efficient. Everyone was wearing masks :) I'll be back to try their daily specials which are all posted on their website. Maggie's is a great, affordable lunch spot.

When the arrived at 5pm, the place was already getting busy and by 5:15, every inside table was packed. Mondays are something here, with $2 domestic bottled beers and $10 for ten wings. The kitchen was struggling to keep up! When the wings arrived, they were hot and delicious. FBAG is big on "trashed wings" which apparently means that they are fried, sauced, fried AGAIN and sauced again. It makes for a different flavor and they were terrific. The wings were meaty and quite enjoyable, not smothered in sauce. A really neat hangout and I very much enjoyed the time. Well worth a return visit! We arrived on a Sunday afternoon and it was packed. Sports fans watching football on the many screens provided and people just gathering for trashed wings and beer. Sometimes simplicity equals comfort. That's how you'll feel, especially if Chuck the owner is checking in with everyone to make sure the food is good and they are having a good time. The menu is huge with a lot of options, but they are known for their trashed wings (be patient they take a little time to prepare). The fried green beans are so good and salads are huge and delicious. Everyone can find a favorite here. The vibe is local fun. Nothing fancy, nor needed. With a great staff you feel welcome to sit in the various areas inside at the bar, on the enclosed patio, or the outside seating weather permitting. Live bands in the summer- check the website. Great for families! Be prepared to be patient with the service. They do their best, but sometimes the food takes a while to come out of the kitchen.

Tables and resturant was clean and our server was very attentive. I was disappointed that a few menu items were no longer available but what we ordered was still good. Hubby loved their street corn on the cob. While they removed the cob, they still have street corn but nibbles in a bowl. He said it was still good but not as good as the cob. One of my favorite was the tostada nachos. Instead they have the Chicken bacon nachos. I ordered not expecting much but wow, they exceeded my expectations. Not your typical nacho. The cheese is bold and different. There was a lot of bacon which was a bit much but overall, pretty good. I would order again for sure. The star is their monthly $6 margaritas. I'm typically not a sweet cocktail person but something about chilis margaritas, I can't resist. They are made just right. I can never have just 1. Also, the best guacamole from a non Mexican resturant. Would definitely dine again.

For starters, the Nashville hot mozz was again and as always, the single best fried mozzarella appetizer I've ever eaten. Period, Full Stop. There simply is no comparison. Other places may have an "Italian" garlic buttery lemon type twist to fried Provel or provolone which is fantastic in a different way, but Chilis absolutely knocks this spicy, stretchy one, out of the park! Next up the chips and salsa. This too was fantastic as always! Love the warmth and saltiness of the chips paired with a well blended thin salsa. My entree however was a bit of a let down. The steak was cooked to the correct temp (mid-rare) but it just had an oddly artificial taste and texture to it. That's really the best way I can describe it. The shrimp too were cooked correctly (not rubbery or under done) but just strange tasting, and finally the loaded mashed potatoes tasted like they had been held in a fridge with raw sliced onions nearby. None of this was particularly "bad" or inedible and I honestly ate every bite, but it just doesn't compare to a steakhouse for example. Its pretty clear that the correct move is to stick with burgers, chicken tenders, and appetizers. Service was fast and attentive, and price was fair for what we got. Bottom line: I'll continue to come back but as mentionen above, I'll be sticking to what I know they do well.

She ordered a GF cheese stick appetizer that they shared and she said it's great, I didn't try it but I'm not GF. For dinner I got a hand tossed pizza, she had GF chicken strips and he had a wrap. All items were hot and the servers were on the refills usually without us asking. If you're looking for reasonable food, nothing fancy I recommend the place. It is a family type place so it's noisy and all but one of their TVs were tuned in to soccer but I imagine if we had asked for something else they might have changed the TV in our area. For three with sodas & entrees and one appetizer the pre til base was $80 if that helps you consider pricing. Very casual with shorts and flip flops to biz casual.

We hand a bit of a wait, but that was to be expected since it was a nice (but very hot) day out. The patio was busy but not packed. The hostess was aware that we had a large dog, but still placed us in a very odd spot on the patio - with high rise tables squished together. We also had a decent amount of sun, so we couldn't stay long as it was just too hot and we didn't have a lot of space. They did also seat an elderly woman at the high top table behind us, who came in with a walker. I found that odd too - to make her try ti climb up in the chairs. Thankfully we were there to help her. Service was ok. Our waitress visited our table a few times at first but then disappeared for a long time before we could get another drink or eventually our check. Aside from the seating and most of the service, our visit was fine. Food was good. My drink was very strong but still fine. It was definitely a different experience than i remember from the past, so I was a tad disappointed. I should have asked to be moved, but we had waited so long already, I didn't want to wait more.

There was live music on the patio and a great crowd, which gave the whole place such a lively, fun atmosphere. Our server was knowledgeable, attentive, and made sure we were well taken care of throughout the night. We ordered a margarita and a glass of Prosecco, and both came out pretty quickly. Our food followed shortly after and everything arrived hot and fresh! The sausage and peppers pasta was fresh and absolutely delicious. The pork steak was MASSIVE, bone-in, and incredibly tender--it literally broke in half when I picked it up to box the leftovers! The cornbread that came with it was moist and savory rather than overly sweet, which I really enjoyed. We also tried the garlic shrimp appetizer. The shrimp themselves were clearly good quality and cooked perfectly, but the sauce was a little underwhelming and could have used more flavor. It definitely wasn't a complete miss, though, because the shrimp weren't overcooked and still had a great flavor on their own. Between the lively atmosphere, great service, quick food, and generous portions, we had a really enjoyable experience. We will definitely be back!
