    Andaman Seafood

Overall: 3.4/5 [take out] We ordered for pickup on Uber Eats, and it took about 20 to 30 minutes before our order was ready. Good thing they put the Andaman Seafood in a plastic bag, because it spilled and was messy to take out. When we picked up our food, the staff asked if we wanted any utensils or sauce which was nice Chu-Chi Salmon ($22): Not a lot of curry, which was a letdown. The salmon itself was a generous portion but didn't taste like anything special. I did like the carrot slices though. The salmon came with rice so I chose brown rice but it turned out to be purple rice. Son in Law Eggs ($9): Comes with 6 fried egg halves. The tamarind sauce and toppings were great, but I didn't like whatever the outer shell around the egg was. Andaman Seafood ($22): Cane with rice, so we got steamed white rice. This is a stir fry of scallop, squid, mussels, bell pepper, onion, mushroom, and basil in their special house sauce. The seafood was okay, but didn't seem to soak up the house sauce much. The sauce itself tasted like a mix between sweet and sour and tom yum soup.

Ordered through DoorDash. $23 for that small portion was not worth it and the fish was fried HARD and dry ASF!! But had a great flavor lol the sauce was delicious and the veggies were a plus, but I won't be wasting my money on that ever again. Didn't satisfy my fish craving. The Tom Yum was great. I love how they took the extra precaution with packing my order. I would try again, just different dish.

My mom and I went to get some soup. They had vegan options and the flavor was delicious! The server was friendly and service was fast. The place was nice in a strip of other establishments.

Ordered from here via Uber eats during a special and it was delicious!! I got 2 Tom yum soups and they were really good!! Nicely spiced and there were bits of lemongrass too so good quality. I got mine with shrimp and there was a decent amount in there!! I like that it comes with a good bit of veggies too!!

Service was prompt, courteous, and helpful - even amid SXSW week! Food was delicious - we got a ton of the appetizers - soft spring rolls, egg rolls, coconut shrimp, lettuce wraps and grilled pork. All were fantastic and enjoyed by our group. All the entrees were excellent - I had the Kao soi - which was enough to bring home for another meal! this place is conveniently located and the vibe is super chill. We were all full and had no room for dessert!

Food is really great. In two visits in four days it must be good. Only one dish was disappointing and all the others were excellent. First of all, we can't rave enough about the Tom Yum soup. It's excellent even this time with the chicken. Although I personally preferred it with shrimp Today we tried the spring rolls which were good filled with a lot of lettuce and veggies just the way we like it. Then my husband had the Pad Thai, which was excellent well made, sauced and seasoned. I had the Mai Thai noodles which we thought were dry, it needed sauce of some kind on the vermicelli noodles. But the chicken was good and the salad was good and the crispy veggie egg roll that came with it was excellent.

I did not order too much since I came by myself. Been to many Thai places and this one is very good. The ingredients are very fresh! And the Tom Yom Soup is also very delicious. They also have great service to check on you. The seating is also very clean and quiet. I'd recommend this Thai place!

The drunken noodles were also very tasty--great texture, well-seasoned, and satisfying without being overly heavy. It was a decent sized meal which I appreciated as we had a very busy day ahead of us with shopping and being tourists and this meal was one of virtually all of the meals in Austin to be great to outstanding!

It was made with a black rice that actually looked kind of blue, which made it really visually fun. The restaurant itself has a lot of indoor and outdoor seating, as well as a bar. It seems like a nice place to have a meal. As for the food, we ordered: Pad thai with chicken, mild spice - unfortunately this was a bit dry for me, though the taste was good. Pad see ew with chicken - I liked their version and would probably get it again. Pad woon sen with pork - typically my favorite noodle dish and I think they did a good job. Garden roll - good but not as packed as others I've had, and at a higher price point. Pineapple fried rice with pork - I liked this but was a bit on the oily side. Tom kha soup - I thought this was very good and had a decent amount of chicken and mushrooms Overall I liked everything but some items I felt I had better versions of elsewhere. It's also on the pricier side. Still, if in central Austin I think it's a solid choice for Thai food.

Got the #48 (crispy pork belly with Chinese broccoli). It was tasty as take-out and I'm sure it's even better on the spot. Chinese broccoli was cooked perfectly. That said, the food itself was underwhelming. The Tom Yum soup was just okay--it was much too lemony and had very little tofu or vegetables. The basil fried rice was decent, but when we ordered the exact same dish a second time, it was surprisingly sweet and tasted completely different. The biggest disappointment was our child's stir-fried noodles. We specifically requested no tofu and fewer vegetables, but the dish arrived with mostly tofu and vegetables and only about 5-6 strands of noodles. The portion sizes also felt quite small. We spent around $70 for a family of three, and the value just wasn't there. While the restaurant has a good selection of vegetarian dishes, the inconsistent food quality, incorrect order, and small portions make it difficult for us to return.
