Really great coffee, conveniently with a drive-thru! I love how many options you have on the menu. This is definitely catering to coffee-lovers with a sweeter palette. The coffee isn't as bitter and is definitely smoother, but masked heavily by the syrups and flavor add-ins. Not sure if you'd like all the options if you don't like sweet, weaker coffee though. The inside is super clean and works are friendly! Definitely gonna return if I want a sweet coffee/something convenient. Good amount of seating and plugs available inside.

Love the vibe and the many choices!! Lots of workers there to help make ordering a seamless experience. My first time here and I was recommended the first 5 lattes on the supreme section of the menu. I ordered the Cabo San Lucas which is surprisingly the perfect balance of sweet and cinnamon coffee. Also whatever heavy cream they used on top, is seriously amazing!!

Got the Maui latte and Irish cream cold brew and they were both delicious! Definitely on the sweeter side, like if you wanted a dessert coffee drink. The maui latte was sweet, slightly nutty, and the perfect amount of creaminess. The cream on the Irish cream cold brew was divine! It tastes like vanilla marshmallow fluff, and the coffee had a nice fruitiness to it!

I went to visit my parents and on my way home I decided to visit Makenna Koffee. They are located in a busy little strip mall off Tustin Street. The parking lot was busy, i went in the middle of the afternoon. Since it was my first time trying their drinks, I opted to go inside and look at their menu. I was greeted right away and the employee was very helpful, I asked her opinion on two different drinks. I ended up getting the Pistachio Cold Brew. My drink was good, and I was happy with the flavor. Ambiance 4/5 Service 5/5 Drink 4.5/5

Have been wanted to try their coffee since they opened a few months ago, but the drive thru line was always too long, until today! Their menu is expansive with cold brew, espresso, coffee, smoothies and more. Ordered The Legend iced -- it was cold, flavorful, with lots of caramel drizzle. The staff was very friendly and helpful with my selection -- will definitely be back to try one of the other menu items.

If you like your coffee drinks sweet and not taste like coffee, this is the spot for you. Similar to Dutch Bros or Better Buzz. Not my cup of coffee since I prefer to taste the coffee or espresso in my drink. Not a Hawaiian owned coffee shop, but Hawaiian themed which means Hawaiian themed drink names and beachy vibes? I never did find out if they used Hawaiian/Kona coffee or what exactly was their "Maui Milk". Service was friendly and wait time was longer than expected, but they were busy both inside and the drive thru. They have a parking lot and you might want to consider parking a little further in the lot or you might get stuck if the drive thru line gets long, which it does!

VERY SWEET COFFEE - very similar style to Dutch Bros. If I came back, I'd definitely do 1/2 sweet and I'm typically someone who already likes their coffee sweet and I already had an extra espresso shot added to my drink! I got the NORTH SHORE iced latte with a 3rd shot (they offer the 3rd shot for free - which is nice)! The drink was still yummy end enjoyable just way too sweet for my liking. I also ordered an ALMOND CROISSANT which was delicious, flaky, and a good sized serving. NO INDOOR BATHROOMS. But there is a good amount of indoor and outdoor seating at this location as well as a SMALL DRIVE THRU. They do have a LOYALTY program here which is nice to earn points towards eventually redeeming a free drink. Overall a great experience but I'd still rate 4 out of 5 stars because there's no restroom and because of the drink quality. Something to also note: this is a high volume location on the weekends.

The shop has a cute ocean and beach theme throughout, which gives it a fun atmosphere. The space was smaller than it looked online, and it seemed like most people preferred using the drive-thru over ordering inside. Even with several baristas working, the wait was a little longer than expected and took close to 20 minutes for our drinks. Overall, it was a good first visit although the drinks were slightly sweeter than I would have liked.

We bought caramel cold brew, sandy blonde, and strawberry smoothie. I came in and placed the order on the counter. Less than 10 minutes of waiting and the drinks were ready to go. I forgot to take pictures of the drinks but I did take a picture of the inside counter. It's well-lit inside, plenty of seats, and they have merchs available for purchase. The place has a very casual and laid back vibe! The drinks were great! Coffee was refreshing and a nice pick me up for the afternoon.

I really love latte with macadamia milk and although this is my first time trying at this place, I tried their signature, which is Maui latte and Maui milk is their signature milk even though I'm not sure if it's using macadamia milk or not but let's pretend it is. I think the sweetness is OK. It could be a little less sweet. Maybe next time I would ask for a less sweet like 75% but other than that it's perfect. I can't wait to come back to try their other drinks because they have a pretty big menu for a coffee shop. Hopefully, they will expand their food menus because I love Hawaiian pastries too. All the stuff who worked there are very friendly and smiley. They have a pretty cool set up inside and they offer drive thru too!

I had seen a viral video of this place from when it first opened. I bookmarked the location and was excited to come try it when I'm in the area. If you don't want to read more of my review, this place is basically a Hawaiian Dutch Bros. If that place is your cup of tea, you'd like it here. I mean, I understand the hype: cute interior, cute drink names, cute logos and designs, and a nicely lit interior. If I had to choose between Starbucks, Dutch Bros, and this place, I'd come here. If I could choose a coffee shop with real brews, I would go there and wouldn't come here. The coffee is subpar and full of milk and sugar like the other reviews have said. I couldn't taste any coffee beans. I had ordered the Cabo San Lucas after being recommended it. I'd love it if I wasn't a coffee fanatic. I'm really disappointed with how much sugar and syrups were put into it. My fiancé got the shaken espresso and even he was off out by it. We also tried their sausage burrito, which was not worth it. The service is also okay. I liked the cashier the most, but the workers here don't smile at you even when you excuse yourself for being in their way. Again, I'd rather get coffee elsewhere or brew my own coffee at home with my Breville.

Makenna Koffee is a great addition it OC! This coffee shop is so cute inside, has a quick drive thru, and the sweetest baristas. It is super similar to Dutch Bros in my opinion, as they have coffee, blended drinks, energy drinks, teas, and more. On this trip I tried their banana chocolate macadamia nut latte with Maui milk (basically a creamer that tastes like vanilla ice cream). I found that drinks here are pretty sweet so if that is what you are in the mood for, I definitely recommend!

Came across this Hawaiian styled coffee spot as it is in the same plaza as poke district. My friend got the cookie butter, and I got the surfer girl. The cookie butter was really good, it has a strong flavor profile. It tasted like biscoff while also having strong coffee notes. The surfer girl tasted like a grown-up Starbucks pink drink, pretty strong on the coconut but would probably not get it again. Overall, cute coffee spot, very spacious inside, and it reminds me of Dutch bros with their cups/drive thru. read more

The coffee was amazing. Someone said it was like Dutch Bros, but honestly, waaaaaaaaaaayy better. Dutch Bros sells milku sugar water that is coffee flavor. Makenna Koffee is selling coffee, no mistake. My espresso drink was full flavored and very tasty. Definitely going back. The service was great and even qith a long line the drI ks were coming out fast. Anyone who needs a coffee fix needs to try this place. Also, I didnt personally try but they also have Red Bull drinks with more kick. read more

I got the Sandy Kisses Chiller hoping for more of a frappe/smoothie consistency, but it was pretty liquidy. The coffee flavor was actually really good, but it was way too sweet for my liking. I ordered a small and was surprised by how much syrup was in it, it tasted like there was more syrup than coffee. read more

As someone who loves Dutch Bros, I was very excited for this addition to Orange and also set high expectations. Those expectations were surpassed. I had the Butter Beer dirty soda and it was so good! Better than Universal Studios. I'll be back tomorrow morning to try another drink. I highly recommend McKenna Koffee! UPDATE: Since writing the review I have gone multiple times since, and every time I went I had a great time. The customer service is some of the best. I only have 2 nit picks: 1) i wish they would have more dirty soda options (currently only 2) and 2) they need to figure out a better drive thru system as the current one blocks most of the parking spots. But none the less still worthy of a 5 star! read more

First of all, wow --they have so many options to choose from! There's a huge variety of drinks, and I decided to try the Oreo chiller. It was absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. When I go to most coffee shops, the drinks are usually just okay, but this one was easily a 10/10. I also loved the décor. it really reminded me of Hawaii. The staff were super friendly and gave great suggestions on what to order. the lemon pastry was also 10 / 10. I really enjoyed both items very much. again both of them has pack of flavors. I'm going back there again and try different drinks. it's hard to choose because all drinks are in the front side and the back side too. #Bussin , I'm a coffee connoisseur I know what drinks is the best. read more

So happy to have this coffee spot near me. Fantastic menu; all the drinks that I have had so far were delicious. Ambience is spot on. Casual and comfortable. First tried Makenna in Semi Valley and was blown away from the choices and the flavor of their coffee. Was very excited to try it near home for once and been here twice before leaving a review. I have fallen in love with their Maui Latte and gotten it twice and each time it tasted different. Either the first time was not sweet enough or the second time it was overly sweet. Consistency is key and it fell short. Will give it a try again in the near future as I cannot give up and will give it to them as the baristas might still be learning. read more

After about 20 minutes, someone came out and said the drive-through was actually closed. waited another 20 minutes as they help the car in front of me. Trapped in the drive-through, even though the cones were not blocking the driveway like they claimed.. No offer to take my order. Won't be coming back here. read more

Their drinks are good but customer service sucks. They are not efficient and takes forever to complete my order. Their drive through is an absolute mess they have people waiting far away while many people just cut the drive through. I waited 30 minutes in the drive through line to get 1 drink. I will be sticking to Starbucks. read more

Stopped into this coffee spot in Orange and had such a great experience. The vibe is super welcoming, it's the kind of place you actually want to hang out for a bit instead of just grabbing and going. What really stood out was the service. The employee with black hair and bangs, I believe she was the manager, was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. I wasn't totally sure what I was in the mood for, and she took the time to walk me through a few options and made a recommendation that ended up being perfect. You can tell she really knows the menu and cares about people enjoying what they order. The drink itself was excellent. Flavorful, and made with attention to detail. Overall, just a really solid experience from start to finish. Definitely a spot I'll be coming back to when I'm on the area. read more

Drinks are good, service is slow and unorganized. I placed a mobile order and it still took 24 minutes to get my drink. Employees don't call out names when your order is ready, so you have to look for it on the counter with everyone else who is waiting. Might as well of went through the drive thru. The vibes are immaculate here!!! I have been her 3 other times and everyone is so nice and gives great customer service! Really liked the Waikiki and chorizo and egg sandwich on one of my visits. A big shoutout to Kehlani!!! She has such an uplifting personality and definitely makes great recommendations! Cookie butter 100/10 so good. Alright I know the place is new to the area love options. The flavor of the drinks are good we ordered 4 different coffees all taste more like a sweet milk so if you like your drinks to be strong or taste coffee this isn't the place for you we had 2 cold brews and 1 latte and all were super milky I came home and added some French press coffee to them. read more

Thankfully, I discovered this amazing bakery. Everything I've tried has been delicious, and it's hard to believe the baked goods are low-carb and low-sugar because they taste just as indulgent as traditional desserts. It's been such a relief to be able to satisfy my sweet tooth without the guilt or the glucose spike. The staff is always incredibly kind and welcoming, and there's truly something for everyone. I was hesitant at first because "keto" doesn't always have the best reputation when it comes to flavor, but this bakery completely changed my mind. Every visit has been a great experience in this cute shop, and I look forward to coming back week after week.

We got two drinks: the white peach oolong and the passion orange green tea. They both tasted great! I especially enjoyed the passion orange green tea, it was super refreshing. The interior was really clean, spacious, and quiet. If I wanted to find a place to study, this is the place to be! The size of the drinks were generous too; definitely will be back to try some other flavors and cram for some future exams. Shared parking lot means plenty of parking, too! Inside is a cute little seating area and adorable bear decals on the walls. There is also a little claw game near the restroom. Both times I have been here I was helped by the same man who works at the counter and makes the drinks. From other pictures and reviews, I think he may be the owner? I'm not sure, but he is really nice and helpful and helped me pick my first thing to try when I came in. I ordered the Phoenix oolong with boba; a deliciously roasty iced drink with perfect boba! Admittedly, on my 2nd visit, I got it adjusted to 75% sweetness and did not love it as much but that is all on me. This one is best as it comes, full sweetness! I need to try other drinks but I really like the Phoenix Oolong. It's like a classic milk tea but better. Give it a try!

I dont mind the price if its called for but this isn't quality tea or fresh fruit puree drinks. The boba was hard and chewy (additional $1.30). Most expensive add on fee ive experienced. Even at more known places known for their boba charges max 0.90 Only positive is the texture of the drink is good. They've lost me.

I would've ordered more, but was flying back to sac in a few hours so had to limit what I ordered to bring back. This location is the original and it is crowded inside since they sell goods also. I believe they have a few tables for dining in outside, bit I've never dined in so cannot speak to that. I'll continue to go here, or one of their other locations when I'm in So-Cal.

They make the absolute best bread and cakes! My mom also ordered a coffee--a hot Americano--but that was a bit on the sour side, so it wasn't really our thing. Aside from that, the interior is cute and pretty, the shop is spotless, all of the staffs are super friendly, and above all, every single pastry and cake is just so delicious. I love it. One thing, though: since people said it's located in Fullerton, I thought it would be close to the Fullerton Hannam Chain or H Mart that we always go to. But turns out, we had to drive another 20 minutes to get there.

It was served with a half avocado and rye toast the others in our party ordered pancakes, bacon, a chicken sandwich and a Yuzu drink. Everything came out in a timely manner and beautifully plated. I absolutely loved the soft scramble on Rye. It was a perfect serving size as well as hitting the spot for a not so traditional breakfast. As we're sitting there, I noticed everybody was ordering the lemon ricotta pancakes, so I could not resist and ordered some as well. I will say the most underwhelming part of that was the lemon ricotta pancakes due to the ratios for the pancake pancakes and lemon ricotta. Overall, my experience was spectacular. The guy working said to the people in front of me that they sold out. It was my turn I asked if they had it and the guy said that they had a line since 3pm and that they sold out of the keg. We ended up getting two beers since we went anyways but that's when things didn't add up. He kept telling all the other people that started to show up the same thing. These are reasons why it didn't add up 1) empty seats inside but had a line since 3pm and beer was released at 4pm 2) I don't think the people going for younger would just order one beer and not try other RR beers? 3) only one guy working beer counter and having to clean the tables and make sandwiches? 4) 12 oz pours of beer and keg with about 1984 oz would make it 166 beers. No way they sold 166 beers in an hour with one person working the bar and shop empty in an hour. They could have posted on their instagram or socials that they sold out but failed to do so. I'm sure a lot of people all night were disappointed to see that they didn't have it or post anything about it.

Whatever they may be make sure they are the same to avoid this. As a result they left their staff in a very vulnerable position. The staff did not handle it well. Update the hours to match. It is a simple fix to avoid this confusion and future situations.

Went the other day and the drive thru takes forever. Workers are a bunch of teenagers who stand around and talk. The guy at the register took forever to hand me my drink, WHICH WAS READY AND RIGHT NEXT TO HIM. Because he was busy flirting with one of his coworkers. The kids are really friendly just not the best of workers. The drinks are good but the service needs to be improved. I didn't see a single adult over 21 all the times I've been. I would say that you get your drinks faster if you go inside and order. But overall not terrible. Love the vibe of the place. But plenty of room for improvement. read more
