I came here on a weekend and there was almost no line at this location compared to the one in SF which was good. Immediately, the restaurant is very cute with a friendly, diner atmosphere and the staff was nice. The caesar wrap was also good, and I liked the crispy croutons and dressing to salad ratio, but honestly it was nothing special. It was just another chicken caesar salad wrap. If you're just in the area, then it's worth a try but if there's a long line, I would skip this place

I love a good chicken Caesar wrap, and Mama's Luncheonette is my favorite to date. The chicken-to-lettuce ratio is just right, the croutons add the perfect amount of crunch without being overpowering, and the chips were a flavorful addition.

This place had a lot of hype on social media, and I was excited to try, but I didn't feel it was worth it. There was too much dressing in the wrap and the lettuce was welted. The presentation and flavor were good and I liked the chips on the side. Portion size was average. Mama's Luncheonette is a little gem I first heard about from an influencer. My mom loves a good, simple wrap, so we decided to give it a try. We ordered the Caesar wrap with the smoky paprika chips, and it was delicious--simple, fresh, and flavorful. And I'm a sucker for a good homemade kettle chip! At the end of our 3 night Mill Valley trip, I asked my mom what her favorite meal had been, and without hesitation, she said, "Mama's Luncheonette!"

I don't get the hype. My best friend and her daughter ordered the lamb wrap before me while I reserved one of the two tables outside. We sat together for awhile before I went in to order at the makeshift table with ready to go lemonades. I ordered next and my food came immediately in a to go box. My friend's food came on a plate freshly made. $30 for a salad wrapped in a cold tortilla and a strawberry lemonade with tip is criminal. So expensive for lettuce wrapped in a tortilla. Chicken was nonexistent, what fancy croutons?, bland. A buffalo inspired hot sauce that comes on the side saved the sandwich. Chips were fine. The lamb wrap doesn't come with chips but I had no problem sharing mine.

I ordered the tikka masala wrap and my daughter ordered the Caesar wrap. Both were good. I thought the tikka masala wrap was better. I liked the mix of contrasting flavors and unusual ingredients (slaw and pickles). I would return. I'd like to try one of the breakfast options.

The service is really great and this location is a huge difference from sf because you can actually sit and enjoy your food. I enjoyed the matcha lemonade which was so good! Breakfast burrito I was nice but didn't enjoy the huge slabs of brisket that weren't cut up like they usually are. Overall great experience and friendly staff.

Strolled in here last week after seeing their new tuna sandwich on Instagram. It looked so good, I had to try it. It did not disappoint! If you like tuna sandos, you need to try it. It was truly perfect. Plus, it was a good sized sandwich, I ate half for lunch and half for a snack later in the day. Could see this being fire after a hike in Mount Tam. Yum! Recommend!

I like the name. That was the hook. "Mama's" makes me think of either Southern comfort/hospitality or a recipe brought down across generations haha. I had their Egg McLovin for breakfast. I like how it's not quite a normal "burger/sandwich". Think burger, but patty is chicken sausage, bun is a flaky English muffin, and onions are grilled (like In n Out), and sauce is harissa aioli! Also, they offer some hot sauce if you want. I heard this place is known for its wraps though, so I will try that next time. Good thing they opened a location closer to where I am!

We were in the area and noticed that they opened a Mama's Luncheonette here! We live in SF but there's always a huge line in the Marina location - there wasn't any here, so we decided to take advantage so we (read: I) could try the viral chicken Caesar salad wrap. I've seen mixed reviews but decided to save judgement for when I actually had it. Quick affair to order, sit down, and receive the food. It's on the pricier side (got up to $18 ish after I was done paying) but the wrap is huge. I ended up only eating half and saving the rest for later. If I ignore the price, it's a really really good wrap. The salad was dressed well and there's a lot of flavor in the chicken bits (which are really large by the way!). If the line wasn't always so long in SF, I would get this a lot more often. My friends got the breakfast burrito with bacon included, and they said it was also really good. Lives up to the hype, but it's not a regular lunch option for me due to price and accessibility. Worth a try though if you've got time or you're swinging by/live in Mill Valley.

Served me a burned wrap, of course I discovered it after I drove home. Guys, you saw you burned it, you still wrapped it up and let me have it, unacceptable! I don't have to come back and ask you to remake it. This is considered burned and not only anyone would want to eat it, it messes up the flavor even it the black parts are ripped off

Checked out Mama's Luncheonette in Mill Valley and it did not disappoint. Music and vibe were fun and upbeat finally some fresh energy in downtown MV. Tried the breakfast burrito with brisket, tater tots, and salsa... honestly, everything just worked. Super flavorful and satisfying. Also had the chopped chicken Caesar and was surprised by how every bite hit a little different so much texture and flavor. A fine addition to Mill Valley's options. Great and friendly service. The chicken caesar wrap is a very good thing indeed: not too stodgy, crisp and refreshing. Might consider dialling up the anchovy paste a little -- it didn't quite have the punch I had hoped for, but was still by a distance the best sandwich I've had in Mill Valley. read more

For starters, the staff was super helpful and the ambiance was very inviting. My wife and I orders the Cesar and Lamb wrap, I love lamb and eat it all the time but WOW, the lamb was amazing. I love Mama's! For breakfast, I always get the Mama's burrito with turkey bacon. The brisket tastes really good too, but I love the turkey bacon they use so that became my go-to. The chicken Caesar wrap is the most popular on their menu and I see why. Very filling wrap with juicy chicken and it pairs perfectly with the homemade chips that come along with it. I also love the za'atar fries, so good!! The staff is really friendly and create a nice, welcoming environment. I always look forward to coming here for a quick bite! read more

Came in today with my partner for a quick to-go bite. The young lady who helped us was absolutely amazing -- super friendly, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Unfortunately, while we were waiting for our food the manager started loudly yelling at staff right in front of us. It was beyond uncomfortable and unprofessional.The staff clearly cares, but the manager's behavior is unacceptable. It definitely affected the whole vibe.He shouldn't be in that role. The staff deserves better. We felt quite guilty even eating our food after knowing thats how he treats employees. read more

I have been seeing the Instagram reels for MONTHS and the Infatuation posts putting this place at the top of every list for caesar wraps. I can say with my whole heart that the food is just not very good. The paprika chips that come with the caesar wrap were cold and stale, the wrap itself was just whatever. The best part was the hot sauce that I smothered over everything to make it edible. This would be ~3 stars for an airport meal, but since I have free will in Mill Valley, next time I want a wrap, I'll go to Punjabi burritos. read more

Used tandoori chicken in our chicken Caesar wraps, not the lemon pepper, totally throwing off the flavor. Each wrap had maybe 5 small pieces of chicken in it entirely. Lettuce not chopped well either. For $18, this was a total ripoff. This place is way overhyped. You can find a better chicken Caesar at your local mini golf course. read more

I was excited to try the Caesar wrap but was disappointed. It comes with chips, which I felt needed salt, and hot sauce that did make the wrap a lot better. Also not a huge thing but it took around 15 min to get my food. It was not busy and two people who came in after me got their food before me and some one brought it to them. For me, my name was called to come to the counter which just felt a little weird. read more

Heard so many wonderful things about this restaurant and have had it on the top of our MUST TRY LIST. The first few times I've always been too late to experience the taste, but it was well worth the wait and anticipation. Had the Mama's breakfast burrito and in all my travels, I had no idea how wonderful a breakfast burrito can be. The eggs , fluffy and tasty. The tater tots are crispy and crunchy without any overcooking or burn taste . The cheese and avocado perfectly held everything together... and then the brisket. Definitely the juiciest and best tasting brisket on the west coast. The chips are fresh made and delicious. Everyone is super friendly and welcoming. The place got busy again in minutes. I'm looking forward to future visits to try more of their tasty options and I highly recommend that you treat yourself to such a wonderful eating experience. The ambiance is great. Chill vibes music and the perfect balance between old school nostalgia local neighborhood diners with a modern twist that's family friendly and even pets are amongst the satisfied customers whom we observed. The market itself is pretty low key, very dense and small. It has everything you need but it doesn't have the produce that I would normally get at a Whole Foods or Good Earth. The service was good and it was very convenient to go to. We will definitely come back to get sandwiches here whenever we have a picnic nearby. It was convenient. The redwood park nearby did not disappoint.

I ordered the taquitos, which were described as such: "pulled chicken in corn tortillas, dip-fried, with salsa roja, queso cotija, sour cream and guacamole." I was charged $17.98. This may have included a small tip. I received two taquitos which had been chopped up into six pieces and placed over a few ounces of shredded lettuce, topped with about a tablespoon of guacamole, a tablespoon of pico de gallo, a more ample tablespoon of cotija, and a ramekin of salsa roja. All of it was quite frankly bad. For the price, it was borderline offensive. I challenge the assertion that the taquitos are handmade or dip-fried. They taste exactly like the frozen taquitos from Sam's Club. For the amount I was charged, I expected five, or at least three, but two? Really? None of the produce was fresh. The lettuce was browning. The salsa was going acidic. The guacamole was browning. The cotija was okay. Customer service was okay, but no level of customer service could make up for this terrible of a value, as far as the price and quality of the food.

If it's only enforced during busy periods, that's exactly when customers should be clearly informed before they spend time waiting in line.
