What impressed me about the Italian ice was that the mango flavor was well integrated into the ice, it didn't taste like ice with a bunch of overly sugary syrup thrown in. After a few bites, I mixed everything together and that combination was just as enjoyable. The location is also great. It's right on Golden Lantern and just a short walk from Dana Point Harbor, making it an easy stop before or after a stroll around the Wharf or waterfront area. On a sunny day, it's pretty much the ideal beach treat. Can't wait to return and try more flavors!

So we decided to just buy one raspberry cupcake. I had it for breakfast in the morning. It was super delicious. It was a very satisfying chocolate cupcake with a raspberry cream on top covered in fine chocolate. I regretted that we discovered it the night just before we departed. Also, our hotel was just crossing the street from this shop. We stayed at the hotel for four days and three nights. All in all, the pastries and the service quality were truly exceptional. The 3:16 Bakery Shop is around half a block from the Amtrak/Metrolink San Juan Capistrano station. Wednesday was a little different. Went to 3:16 Bakery Shop after getting off the train and got a honey bran muffin. I found a nice place to sit with a view of Verdugo Street. Every time I am at the 3:16 Bakery Shop everything looks very good but I always end up getting a honey bran muffin.
