Exactly what you'd expect from a buffet, from the variety of foods, fruits, and desserts, right down to the selection of ice creams. I was surprised to find a sushi bar though. I enjoyed my meal, which was a great price for the amount of food you can get!

Great spot - nice variety of sushi - my fave- lots of choices at the buffet table - constantly refilled and fresh !!! Plenty of desserts too !!! Ice cream - cakes - banana cream pie- and lots of fresh fruit !! We love it here so much more than the other buffet !!! Mandarin is a smaller more intimate setting - staff is very accommodating and always polite cheerful- service is great !!! Everything is clean including the spotless bathrooms They servers work hard and although it's a buffet - you should definitely tip them !! They make sure your table is clean- drinks are full and all with a cheerful attitude !!! If you haven't been- def go !! You'll love it !

    Good Buffet fare.

Very fresh american chinese food buffet with a sushi bar included and some really good hot and sour soup my only complaint is the variety there is a very limited choice. So 3.5.

This was my first buffet visit in months and it was nice to see what new safety protocols the restaurant was taking. The waitresses were all wearing gloves and masks and there was tape and Do Not Sit signs at every other table. Instead of the customer serving themselves, a server would do it for us which made us feel better. A couple of our food items were really cold but overall good food and good service and great effort in keeping the customer safe !

I like 3 Stars, but dont like that 3 Stars is A-Ok, Im somwhere between Meh & Allright!!! I do agree with other people they are pretty much sitting at your table with you trying to rush you out, I had nearly put down my fork & they were there to grab the plate, like dude.. Maybe I wanted to lick up all the sauce... The food was what you would expect... Some looked like it had been sitting there all day & the more visited things were constantly replaced... The fruit didnt seem the freshest ever, the sushi selection was good... I hate that water is free but you give me the smallest possible glass on earth! Im gonna bring my own from now on... It was ok, now Im hungry so for some odd reason I want to go RIGHT NOW... But ugh!

This past Friday we had a hankering for a Chinese buffet, so we decided to stop in at this location. This isn't the first time we have eaten here, but this place has improved since we last stopped in. The restaurant itself has been updated and it was nice to have clean booths and clean bathrooms. The buffet itself is small, but it is well stocked with crawfish, crabs and other delicious items. The sushi here was also decent for a buffet. The staff here was incredible. I know this may sound crazy, but they were polite, they didn't rush us, and they thanked us once we had finished. Haven't had this type of service in a very long time. Overall, this was a great dining experience and we will keep it in mind for the future.

Nothing special. Cheap quality not fresh food. Sticky floors. There is a charge $1 dollar per person for hot tea.

Service was good but food was mediocre. It was later in the afternoon so might have been a factor but nothing really wowed us.

Be aware that if you're there on the weekend, then expect a wait of at least 45min to 1 hr or more. Needless to say though, it was worth the wait. We had a party of four and everyone raved about their meals. From the baked Haddock, to the baked Scrod, the grilled chicken salad and to my own lobster salad roll. I can only attest to the lobster roll but it was PACKED with meat. A lot of other places had half the amount of meat I got there for almost the same price. I expected much the same this time too but when it came I was pleasantly surprised at the sheer size of it. It came with some od the best fries I've ever had. Super hot, crunchy and full of flavor. The Cole slaw was somewhat disappointing though.. it had raisins in it?!?! Who does that?? The lobster roll could have used some more mayo on it but overall I was extremely satisfied with the meal and the service. We were seated next to the bathroom and kitchen towards the back but each of the tables in the back had window views to the water so that was nice. Bathrooms were clean and the service was excellent. I would highly recommend the place. It's a little on the pricier side but worth it for the big three (great food, great service and great location).

I was quickly greeted and informed that they were cash-only dining. But fret not, for just inside the doorway is a perfectly placed ATM. It took only a few seconds for me to pinpoint the exact item on the menu that my stomach was craving and my eyes fixed upon...Antipasto for an appetiser and chicken Marsala for the entree. The antipasto dish arrived very quickly and was a beautiful layout. Of course I desired to save some room for the entree but ended up eating about 3/4 of the appetiser before it arrived. The chicken marsala was absolutely perfect, still steaming on the plate as she placed it before me. I told myself I would only eat half the dish and take the rest back to my hotel for snacking later. However, my taste buds are not allow me to stop feasting on this Italian delicacy. If you're ever in the area, don't worry about the other Italian restaurants in the downtown, although I am sure that they are well and good, but Giacomo's is well worth your consideration. My only regret is that I only have one more night here to try another one of their delectable dishes.

I felt horrible for the chefs in the back and the staff who were working amidst the flames in that heat for hours, wow. However... given the circumstance and the appropriate weather, Giacomo's might just be one of the most scenic and atmospheric spots in all of Boston's Little Italy in the North End. I can promise you, if you're looking for good quality Italian food with no fillers in portioning or shortcuts in meal quality and preparation - Giacomo's is for you. Some of the best bites of food I've had in recent memory from any place I've been to period! The joint and the staff have such class and professionalism, it's an experience all to itself. I will be back next time to sample more of their delicious and famous seasonal menu items and wine pairings. Cash only spot as of right now and I'm unsure if they plan on changing it, so be mindful of that.

I can't get enough of their monkfish Marsala, usually ordered with the black squid ink pasta. There's always a line out front, and it's worth the wait. When I had the chance to bring a colleague at the end of the trip, he ordered the same dish and loved it. This is not a fancy place and it isn't trying to be. It's seriously good Italian seafood with epic portions. Go easy on the bread they bring with olive oil and spices because the plates are huge. I can rarely finish a full meal after an appetizer, so I usually just order the main. I'm excited they now have a location in Pasadena, California, which is convenient for my work travel. I can't wait to try it. PRO-TIP: there are a couple other locations nearby. Same good cooking. If you don't want to specifically eat in the original location, then it may be faster to pivot to Daily Catch Takeout Window at 331 Hanover Street, two doors from the original or the full service Waterfront site at 65 Atlantic Avenue which is an 8 to 12 minute walk from the original location through the North End streets.
