I never spend over $7.00 for lunch. For patrons who are budget conscious especially in today's ailing economy, go to IHOP as one would have more value for your dollar on lunch. Mangia is my go to morning spot. I come for the perfect breakfast bite. I like that they have smaller options. You can get a regular sized bagel, cream cheese and lox and then there's a mini version. I also enjoy the breakfast burrito for $4.95. It has tons of eggs with veggies wrapped in a soft, grilled bread. I was really into the eggs over easy and then I figured out the roasted tomatoes i thought I was eating are actually prosciutto. And I'm pescatarian so that is a no go. The carrot, ginger muffin is only $2.50 and does the trick in the morning. Quiche is still on my breakfast to do list. The girl at the register could probably smile more but the guy making the coffee makes up for it with his smiles. The other side of the counter has a huge array of treats. I liked the traditional coconut macaroon. I also got a 4th of July sprinkled chai flavored French Macaroon for only $2.50 a piece. There are still so many treats to pick from. They have a huge fridge section where I get some Pellegrino. The salad bar here is expensive but absolutely beautiful selection of food to pick from. I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw octopus as an option. I got the smallest container to not over stuff my lunch. Fresh grain salad and green salads, fruit, lox and so much more. Our original caterer fell through at the last minute, and Mangia was able to accommodate with no issues, even with short notice. Due to COVID, we are currently only serving individually-packaged items for events. The snack boxes were a perfect option for hors d'oeuvres for our reception, everything was delicious and beautifully packaged. You could tell that everything was very fresh. The lunches were also very nicely packaged in very sturdy boxes with clear labeling. Mangia was able to accommodate a one-off request for a very picky guest, which we really appreciated. The caprese sandwich I tried from the boxes was very good. Delivery was right on time and the sales staff was very easy to work with. Disappointed in this place because the menu looked great and I was excited to try it. I ordered (for delivery) the Sopressata Panini which was supposed to have sopressata, smoked mozzarella, grilled eggplant, arugula and balsamic glaze on pizza bianca bread - sounds delish right?? What I received (as you can see in my picture) was a soggy, lukewarm panini with no grilled eggplant and tiny scraps of mozzarella and arugala. Aside not having half of the ingredients, the size of the panini was smaller than my hand - definitely not filling at all! My company ordered Mangia for an event and we were very impressed. Firstly, the food was on time, firstly. Salad - came with a creamy dressing (cherry toms and cucumbers in in) Pesto pasta salad - this was so good. Definitely my favorite. It had amazing flavor and wasn't too heavy. The pesto was great and it also had some cheese and pine nuts in it. Sandwich - I tried the chicken salad on sourdough and really enjoyed it. Dessert platter - I just had a strawberry and mini brownie, but the platter itself had a variety of cookies and small bites. The brownie was very good and chocolaty... and the strawberry was fresh. Mangia's salad bar is prettier than most. They have unique prepared salads and everything looks very fresh and clean. However, at $6.50 per half pound, they also charge more than most salad bars. If you're looking for a more economical lunch at Mangia, the pizza is delicious! My personal favorite is the vegetariana, although I sometimes ask for it to be made without the mushrooms (they have a smoky flavor I don't quite love). Plus, the price at the register is actually lower than what you see on the sign, so it really is a good deal for an individual pizza. read more

Spoke with Anthony who said his last name was don't worry about it and his behavior can be summed up simply as rude and condescending. When I called another phone number I spoke with a woman who was sitting right next to him and advised that the manager Elena Consta would be in next week but was aware of the matter. An order totaling $675 deserved more attention. We all have bad days but my issue is valid and his attitude was not. Will never place a corporate order with them again and will reach out to the Office Manager about removing them from our daily Seamless lunch order. Very disappointing. I ordered the filet mignon with a side of asparagus since it sounded very nice as I read it. I was thinking a steak would be nice for lunch but I in for a surprise. The whole steak was cooked well done so it was hard with bits of chewy pieces. The asparagus was fine. It's hard messing that up to be honest but I would be extremely disappointed if they messed that up too. It was however a $15 meal so I guess I really shouldn't have had much expectations from the start. I have previously had other things on the menu before and they were okay (nothing great but also nothing really to complain about either). Maybe it was just this instance, I don't know. Overall, if I were to base it solely off of this meal alone, it would get a 1 star. However since I've had other things before and they were decent, I'm going to give this place 2 stars. Don't get me wrong, the food is good. But this place is very inconsistent with discounts. Mangia gives my employer 10% off. There were many times in the past where the staff would ask for ID as proof of employment but I work retail, retail employees doesn't get ID, only corporate employees does. I explained it to them but they would say "no ID no discount". But there are times the staff would see I'm in full company uniform so they give me the 10% off. If you're going to give a company discount, don't discriminate between corporate and retail, make it consistent. Decided to try Mangia by way of recommendation from a coworker. The food is pretty good, but the prices are very high. The first time I went, I tried the cold food bar, in which you pay by weight. Everything was tasty, from the curry chicken salad to the flank steak with veggies, to the sweet potatoes. I got a scoop of about 5 different dishes and it came to $14, which isn't extremely bogus when I compare the price to say, Blake & Todd where I do the same thing. However, today I tried the kale Caesar salad. I will say I enjoyed it, but $14 for a bowl of kale, a scoop of chicken and cheese and a squirt of dressing seems a bit much, no? One of my favorite lunch options in the area for sure. Can pick from a fresh salad bar, make your own salad bar, hot bar, hot pasta and pizza bar. The make your own options range from $12-16 depending on choice of protein, and ready cold and hot bar are $13/pound. I enjoyed pesto zoodles, butternut squash parm & arugula salad, brussel sprouts, and lemon zest salmon all for under $10. Food was extremely fresh and flavorful with plenty of variety- could come here practically every day and find something new. Only downside (as with all other lunch options in the area) can get pretty $$ and busy during 12-2, but your money goes a lot farther here. This place is a mirage. From the store itself to the presentation of the food, it looks like a nice place to grab a quick bite and deserving of its priciness. Unfortunately there is no substance behind that. The coffee is AWFUL. Multiple times I have thrown a new cup out because it was completely undrinkable. The breakfast buffet is way overpriced for the quantity and quality of food you get. Today I got a quarter of a bowl of eggs (probably made mostly with milk rather than eggs) and literally 2 sausage links. They are completely incompetent at making salads. I have probably gotten a salad 5 times and 2 times they forgot the chicken I ordered, and today they messed up 3 of the ingredients on a 5-ingredient salad. They literally forgot cheese and chicken until I reminded them. Then she put slabs of cheese instead of crumbled cheese and chicken on top of the salad and didn't toss it. I came here with a few friends for the sit town brunch, and the prices are the best you can find in this neighborhood. They were most around $11-15. My friend and I split two brunch dishes - the steak and eggs ($15) and the eggs florentine ($12). Both dishes came with potatoes and the steak came with three eggs. We got the steak medium rare and it was cooked perfectly. Also, the food was served promptly and the second floor seating space is nice but just the right amount of casual. The reason I'm taking off one star is because while the eggs florentine were good and perfectly cooked, but the spinach was slightly too bitter when combined with the capers. The tuna wasn't very fresh, so I probably wouldn't be getting that again. My favorites were probably the mushrooms, green beans, and the fresh mozzarella balls (yum!). My little bowl of randomness came out to just under $10 - however, I find that I'm okay with paying more if the food is quite good and I get to eat different things as I get bored with food easily. However, it is more like a "snack" than a "lunch" as I was hungry a few hours later and started snacking on all kinds of bad things. I blame the industry we're in. My favorite thing to get here in the ENTIRE place is the roasted turkey breast signature sandwich that they make for you at the sandwich counter... It has a huge dose of succulent turkey breast with cucumber, freshly plucked watercress and a heavenly herb (dill) mayonnaise on black bread. So delicious and refreshing! When I eat it I imagine I am eating tea sandwiches with the queen of England on my lunch break! I have not gotten around to ordering any other kind of their signature sandwiches because I love this one so much but I will get to it... eventually... maybe in 6 months... check back with me in a year... Great tasting food at a premium. This place has been my some-what-frequent lunch spot for a while - but not everyday, because food here is actually pretty expensive. However, I'm willing to pay the price for the flavor and freshness, just once in a while. I usually go for their buffet style salad bar, especially those seafood mixed salads - so delicious and so easy to just grab and go. They also have pesto zucchini noodles, which is great as an alternative from the pasta since I am on a low carb diet. Tossed salads are also very delicious, I have ordered deliveries from them all the time and if you go to the store, the line usually is not crazy at all. However, lately I've noticed the meats are not as fresh - I had the sesame seared tuna and pesto chicken at the salad bar a few times and it tasted funny. When fresh: I get the baby kale salad with peppers, raw mushrooms, tuna, mozzarella balls (these are delicious), onions, and scallions with olive oil, salt and pepper.
