I love Indian food. The amount of people who are so ignorant about Indian food is appaling, and…read morethey need to be educated. Places like Tikka Shack are one of the places that can provide that education. Introducing Indian flavors in familiar dishes is a good way to transform picky eaters into true gormands. I wanted a quick, delicious dinner one evening before heading out on a road trip the next day. So I swung by to see what this recent move-in had to offer sleepy little Oviedo. Ambiance was very, well, Oviedo. A giant mural adorned the wall. Chickens, the Welcome sign, even a sandhill crane. It was very pretty. Service was superb. There was a nice cashier lady who gave off a owner or manager aura. We talked through the menu together and came up with a couple of delicious options for me to order. Option one was the Tikka Chicken Pizza (Tikka Sauce, garlic, fresh mozzarella, red onions, tomatoes on a Naan crust topped with cilantro). This thing was a lot of fun! A nice, thin, crispy crust, and mozz. But accompanied by a delicious tikka sauce. A little freshness from the onions and the tomatoes, and you have a very nice pie here. Something like that pizza is something a kid would try, or a subdued palate adult would try, and act as a gateway dish that would get them deeper and deeper into the rabbit hole that is the best cuisine on the planet. I love it. I also had a curry, which was nice. Very flavorful. I was expecting a little bland, but no, lots of good spice and flavor. Accompanied with a proper amount of basmati rice. Yummy. And I accented the whole meal with a cheesey, garlicky naan. Which is probably universally accepted as the best bread on the planet. Love that naan. Wash it all down with a mango lassi, and this place knocked my socks off. I don't know what brought them here to Oviedo, but I sure am glad they came. It's nice knowing that I have a fast-casual Indian place right down the road. Will definitely be back.

Loved the fusion of Indian flavors with more American accessible foods like pizza. Cons: No cons whatsoever. Tips: Get a pizza, get an extra side of rice for your curry, and get all the naan you can afford. So delicious.

They offer beef, chicken, Impossible, and veggie patties, along with a wide variety of cheeses and buns to choose from. My Impossible Burger was tasty, but I'm not sure it quite justified the price. On our first visit, I got a very impressive looking shake loaded with toppings, unfortunately it wasn't on the menu this time around. It's not my top pick for burgers, but it's definitely not a bad option either.

To my surprise, I was disappointed by the food. I got the loaded frings and a 5 x 5 burger. I believe the burger is relatively new, since it wasn't on any of the pictures of their menu on Google. Ambiance: The staff was friendly enough and I do like the fact that you can see them cooking the burgers in front of you. However, looking around at the restaurant, it looks like there was no upkeep. There were broken tiles, tables weren't cleaned, and I believe there might have been mold when I was filling my water cup at the ice machine, like visibly on the spout. Food: Loaded frings- I'm not sure how you mess this one up, but they somehow did it. The fries were overcooked and the bacon was fried to hell. I think you can actually see how burnt the bacon was in the pictures. It tasted like charcoal. Lastly, the fries were completely soaked in cheese sauce, which I'm guessing was from a can. It tasted like the cheese you'd have at state fairs, except more watery. There was more sauce than fries and onion rings! I should have taken a picture after eating half of the fries. I could not eat the bottom half of the frings because it was all soggy Burger- the same cooked-to-hell bacon was used on the burger. Not much else need to say about that. Looking at the picture of the burger, you'd think that the patties were way overcooked as well. That was not entirely the case. The patties weren't extra dry, but they weren't as juicy as I would have liked a burger to be. I'd say it was just okay. Maybe a half step below average. I really wanted to like this place, but I wasn't able to. I'm not sure if I came by on an odd day, because the reviews say otherwise. I really hope management can fix these issues.

I really liked that they have QR codes at every table so you can order everything right from your phone and they bring it out to you, which makes things super easy when you're in a group. The food was actually really good too. The buffalo chicken dip and nachos were both great, and the chicken tenders were solid. The blue cheese especially stood out, it tasted homemade and was really good. Beyond the mini golf, there's a ton to do. They have foosball, ping pong, cornhole, giant Connect 4, and other games, which makes it more than just a golf spot. The golf is the only thing you have to pay for, so it's nice that you can still hang out and play games without committing to that. Service was excellent, especially considering how busy it was. Overall, such a fun atmosphere and a great place to celebrate something or just hang out. I'd definitely go back
