This is the fast food, stripped down version of Indo-Chinese food. It's quick, convenient, reasonably affordable, has plenty of parking, and they definitely cover vegan options nicely. I love that they offer a plant-based hot and sour soup, as one of the only places in this city that does, but it's really not worth getting excited about. Seasonings are a bit lacking overall so your best bet is to order your food to go, and dress it up more at home. So, I really like masala wok. My select items taste good, and have been consistent. That's what matters to me, not whether it's "authentic" or not. My favs are Hakka Noodles (get without the cabbage otherwise that overpowers the entire dish). Tikka Masala and Butter Chicken with your protein of choice and spice level. Comes with rice and naan. They revamped their menu at some point so now they have Indian spiced wings which I have to try. I had the biryani about a decade ago and didn't like it too much. Ordered through Uber Eats. The food was absolutely delicious, and arrived fast and piping hot. We ordered the lamb tikka masala X 2 (yum). Came with rice and garlic naan. Ordered both the chicken kabob and spicy chicken kabob meals. They came with rice, naan, salad (delicious!) a samosa and a mango lassi. I always worry about drinks with delivery because there's no way to know if somebody did something to them (I know I am crazy sometimes) but this came in a sealed container like a single serving milk carton. Score! Their samosas are perfect. The exterior crust and filling are exactly how they should be and the chutney is perfectly balanced and not spicy. Most subpar Indian food I have ever had. The butter chicken was not like any of the butter chicken I have had at any other establishments. If it weren't for the BOGO deal, I would not have ordered from here and I will not be ordering from them again. The meal came in one container of butter chicken with rice. With that being said, I have frequented the tech Ridge and the Arbor walk locations and they're both the same. The food is great. The ladies at the register are the worst. You can't get your food. You have to stand there and wait for them to finish their phone conversations on their cell phones and their text messages to their friends before they can take an order let alone look up and give you your food and then when you want to get your food, you have to almost provide your blood type to get it. I literally have to give my first name my last name what I ordered and that's if I can get their attention after standing there waiting for them to finish whatever personal business they need to take care of and this is at both locations and I will no longer be eating here. I am not the only one that feels this way this is why I'm leaving the review because I've had several conversations about this and I'm upset. Great fast casual place. I'd go for lunch or takeout. Food was very tasty and had some spice to it. I started with the pizza and had paneer as chicken would fill me up too much. It was on naan so it's thick but very tasty especially with the sauce. The wrap was too good and best part was it does not fall apart easily like other wraps. It was packed right with chicken and cheese and broken in two so can easily share if you wanted to try one chicken and one paneer. Masala fries were good but I mostly liked the sauce. Came here with my coworkers for lunch since it was nearby and had vegetarian options! Take it in as a fast food Indian / Chinese fusion. So for what you pay for plus the speed it's not bad. But don't come comparing it to other sit down Indian or Chinese restaurants. I ordered the goan vindaloo (chicken - hot spicy level) and it's heat was up there. I'm usually able to eat the highest spicy level but always start with "hot" for new places. This hot wasn't overwhelming but definitely made me feel it in my stomach lol. The bowls come with two pieces of naan as well with the rice! Their Indian bowls are $11, pretty worth it for what you pay for. My recommendations: Manchau soup and Chicken fried rice. Really yum! This place is open somewhat late (till 10 pm) and is definitely a good fix if you are craving some late night Indo-chinese munchies. So far I have been twice and it has been ok thus far. The last time we went, we arrived at 9:35pm and I do not think the staff was happy to see a family of 4 coming in so close to 10pm. I ordered butter chicken , malai kofta, samosa and naan. First of all for the price I think they are really giving out less food. For example the butter chicken had a good amount of sauce but less chicken. I think the taste was ok maybe needed more spice otherwise good. The malai kofta was pretty much the same sauce but with kofta I think it was ok they they give you like three pieces for 10.99. They got roaches!!! I came in today to order food. Ordered the Tikka chicken Masala. I loved this place, been coming for about 3 years. Not any more!!!! I ordered my food and was sitting in a chair along the wall waiting for my to go order. Suddenly a German Roach caught my eye crawling on the floor...I myself work in the pest control industry and let me tell you, where there is one roach, there are hundreds you don't see. German roaches are not a bug that comes from outside, they exist based off of sanitation. When I saw this roach I causally walked to the guy I ordered my food from and told him there was a roach on the floor, I pointed to it and he walked over to it and stepped on it, wiped his shoe on the ground and walked back over to the order area, told the guy employee standing next to him something and then they both looked back over at me and then looked away. I loved this place, the only place I would get Indian food at but never again. Nope. That man didn't even apologize or anything just squished it and was so casual about it like that's the normal. I know way too much about pest control to ever return here again especially with the disregard of the issue in the first place. Masala Wok is great for a quick and tasty meal. We ordered take out tonight and it didn't disappoint. Yes, yes, I realize there are a zillion Indian restaurants that are better, but not for fast and friendly take out service. Our meals were packaged nicely, but not marked. The malai kofta and curry lamb were the same color! Since the koftas weren't balls and I'm not sure what lamb looks like, I was afraid to try it. Matt quickly figured out which was the lamb so I didn't have to accidentally eat a cute nursery rhyme animal. The koftas were strangely shaped, like thumbs not balls, but were flavorful. I ordered the malai kofta extra spicy and it definitely had a kick. The gravy was little oily, but yummy. This has long been my go to comfort meal and boy did it comfort. I'm so glad I have half the meal left for breakfast tomorrow. The rice was okay. Not outstanding on its own, but great to mix with the spicy gravy. The nan was blah. It was a little tough rather than soft and pillowy. Samosas were crunchy in the outside and bursting with flavor on the inside. Paired with the chutney, it's always a winner. Matt had no complaints. My family introduced me to this place as I've never heard of it before. I was excited I love both Indian and Chinese food so I really wanted to try it out. They have a vegan menu which I thought was very cool and was happy about. I have to say beware of any allergies. Especially if you have a serious one. A member in my family has one and when we asked if there was any dairy in a particular dish. No one could give us a straight forward answer. And the cashiers asked everyone for us. Cooks, senior cashiers, everyone in the restaurant and no one could answer the question. So we got them something from the vegan menu and hoped for the best honestly. If you like going somewhere that knows what's going on this isn't the place. While I loved the samosas and masala fries. I was pretty disappointed in my meal. I ordered the Thailand fried rice and it was too oily for me to eat. I eat relatively healthy and my food does not contain too much oil. Though other fried rice haven't been an issue for me. I was surprised by how much oil was in this. I even tried eating it later and couldn't. Tried again the next day and still couldn't. Everyone else enjoyed their meals though! Paired with the buttery long grain rice, and your choice of naan or roti, they are fantastic dishes! Their samosas are huge and a wonderful explosion of flavor . It's a perfect blend of textures- crunchy, soft and hot potato filling, and the spicy cold sauce to dip it in. The mango lassi drink ain't bad either! This is a great option for a stay-at-home meal.
