Could not have had Better service she made the Vegas girls look like turtles. The bottle locks kept us on point and we're never an issue because she treated us like Kings. The website threw me an error when I first tired to but a ticket but it actually charged me TWICE and they refused to pay me back which I did not like. I feel bad for the reviewers who had terrible experiences here, but when I went this month we didn't have any issues. Bouncers, bartenders, and other staff were actually friendlier at Maya than at some other places in Scottsdale. Maybe we were there on a good day, maybe we benefitted from our white privilege, or maybe management has made some improvements. We were a group of nine girls in town for a bachelorette trip. The vibe here is kind of grungy, but that was okay with us. We just wanted to get drunk and dance to good music in our swimsuits, and Maya delivered. We considered paying for a table but ended up just getting general admission tickets in advance, and that worked out really well. read more

This is probably the only place on this whole strip of bars I don't absolutely loathe and it's because of the pool, especially on a day it's not super busy. As I've written in prior reviews, virtually every place in this area of Scottsdale has really similar and mediocre food offerings, similar drink offerings, and plays the same loud music with mega bass and flashing lights, but again, this place has a pool. My buddies and I had a great time at Maya Dayclub on a sunny Saturday in Scottsdale. You have to reserve a table to get in, so I would recommend that. The pool wasn't open when we went, which would have been nice because it was so hot out. If they charge you the same rate for a table with the pool not being open - that sucks. But the drinks were cold and the vibes were great- so that's what really counts. I would recommend putting a credit card reader on the arcade game if you want more impulse game purchases. read more

The club is a really nice club with a pool and a Vegas-like feel...but the only difference is the place was pretty empty and the DJ was not good. It probably was due to the fact that when we went (Saturday night) on the big Pac vs Mayweather fight... all the good DJs were probably in Vegas. The DJ that night wasn't that great, he had too many breaks and didn't transition well. The venue itself is nice- one of the nicer clubs I've been too. I like the fact that they have drink stations outside so you don't have to ask the bartender for water. The crowd was a bit young...and rowdy. As there were many "bros" and "hoes". There were a lot of amazonish looking females, I almost gotten crushed by 3 of them while dancing, they were at least 5'10 with heels and huge. It was pretty empty...even when we left closer to 1. Maybe it's just a super big club? We didn't feel the club that night...and to exit was confusing! We had to walk through another bar to get out and that bar was small and jammed pack. It was hard to get through the rowdy bros to leave. At least that night we didn't have to pay cover. The drinks were pretty cheap (comparing to SD). Great new set-up during COVID. Much more spacious and fun games to play. However, last night, we stopped by for a few drinks for my friend's birthday. We all ordered bottom shelf/well drinks for all our mixed drinks. We got charged for Ketel One and Maker's Mark for our vodka and whiskey drinks, as well as a "top-shelf Long Island" when we all clearly said bottom shelf when she came around. The first round of drinks, we ordered an IPA... she came back with kiltlifters because she said they were out. She said she'd take it off the bill. Instead, we got charged for them AND the higher shelf alcohol that we did not order. It was very empty and it was clear that were being cheated to try to get more money out of us. A fun time/atmosphere becomes negated by dishonesty. read more

Worst experience and worst day club I have ever been to. The security guards kick out whoever they want and make up false accusations in order to do so. When you ask them to further explain their reasoning, four other guards came up and surrounded my group of all Asian girls. Upon reading the other reviews it appears this is a normal thing for this place. Not only is their hospitality and customer service terrible, but everything in this place is extremely overpriced. Wow oh wow, just I really don't know what to say! Ok, if I was 25 years younger then this place would have been the place to be!! Young people party place, more geared for the 21 through 30 ages! Everything is just the way you would think it would be like at Spring Break in Florida at the age of 18 to 29! But it costs to get in, even on a Sunday night, and don't expect to be there at 8pm, this place does not get busy until after 11pm or maybe even later! And the drinks are so so expensive, I would have never been able to afford to drink more than 2 drinks at a young age! I went here 5/13/18 with 2 other friends. It was my friend and I's first time clubbing here and it seemed promising. Nice people, good music, a few weirdos but for the most part good time. My experience with this place was good up to today when I had to pay my monthly bill. As I double checked my charges I noticed that the club decided to withdraw more than what I agreed to pay for. I made two transactions that night and both my transactions were over charged Everytime I tip with my card I write the amount I paid including tip down. I usually dont check my statements but I decided to this time and I was not happy. I am not sure if I want to look over my shoulder everytime I buy a drink. I know we the customers are trying to have a good time but this is theft. Club @ Maya at your own risk fellow yelpers just double check if they charged you more than you gave if you paid with card I attached photos of my bill statement charge and my reciepts. Came here for my brothers Bachelor party.... Was here two weeks prior for his wife's bachelorette. BOTH weekends we got ripped off. Our minimum at Maya was $4,000... our total at the end came out to around $4,100.... We were told our server would get a portion of the total so we left an additional $400 for her... our total SHOULD have been $4,500... the card we provided was charged $5,600.... That's A THOUSAND AND ONE HUNDRED dollar difference... either our server Faith did us dirty and changed the tip, or there was an error... either way, we've reached out to Maya and have heard NOTHING BACK... so here we are.... I've given this club a few chances.. The security are rude for no reason and will up-charge you. The first time I went I was charged only 20 dollars and the last time a group of my girlfriends and I tried to go they said it was 100 dollars to get in each. Update 2 weeks after our visit and response from Kevin with Riot House. Kevin reached out to me and we had a conversation about what had happened; he reached out to Bruno (manager on shift when we were there), and they were going to issue a refund since they did not provide what we paid for. Kevin did add that they will be charging us $50 for the $6 bottle of champagne. This bottle of champagne was something they had comped for us since we had been waiting so long and staring at people sanding stairs. It was a $6 bottle... no where near $50. They still have not issued my refund, even though I have an email from Kevin stating they would refund us. This place continues to be a total ripoff. Came on Saturday when Lil Jon was performing. We originally inquired about bottle service before we came to town but the reviews on yelp deterred us from taking the risk. I saw there were tickets available for purchase on eventbrite but it wasn't necessary. There was $20 cover but since we were a group of girls we didn't have to wait in line. We came in around 12:45am and Lil Jon was already on. I thought it would be more concert like with him performing his songs but it was actually him dj'ing for the night. Maya is a huge venue and has separate areas to hang out. The main dance floor, pool area, and a side bar area on its own. I'm kind of glad we didn't drop over $1k for bottle service to see him dj but overall no huge hiccups as other reviews have stated. read more

The pool party scene is amazing! The hospitality is the worst in the business. If they were in Miami or Vegas they would never survive. Sat us directly behind a big palm tree with no view. Texted our promotor and his response was you're out of luck that it is our fault for spending 4k on a table for 6 people that we should have upgraded and he would never spend that $. Terrible attitude. It was my bachelor party, $ wasn't an issue. Told him we want to upgrade. Wouldn't upgrade us to the 6k tables because the minimum was too much alcohol for us. Already a ridiculous minimum that does not include food. Got upgraded at 3:30 by our bottle girl at the end of the day. Wasn't worth it but the only nice person in the whole place along with security. Fun day - WORST hospitality by promoter and management. read more
