Where to start !!!! The rudest McDonald's I've ever been to !! They don't want to help at counter and I ordered on kiosk . I ordered a unsweet tea and was given a lemonade tea so proceeded to ask them to switch it out for a unsweet tea and they acted like I had asked for the world and refused me stating the lemonade tea costs a lot to make and they won't swap it out for me ! I asked for manager who then tried to talk down to me and use her authority to belittle me and treat me as a child and it was only after I had insisted they give me an iced tea that she said she'll refund me and I can reorder ! Just another way to have the last say ! Any other McDonald's give refills but they do not here even tho they charge almost $4.00 for a large drink ! They are absolutely the rudest encounter I've had in a long time! Based on so many recent reviews I'd think corporate needs an intervention! I'm sure they take advantage of the fact this is a stop through destination and don't care about customer service due to most people aren't coming back here ! Where to start !!!! Waited in the Drive thru for 20 min last night. Did not move. I have never seen a line not move for that long. Probably under-staffed and over-worked. The franchisee of this location needs to shape up, but I imagine it's not unique to this location. So, we canceled the in app order, weaved out of that parking lot of a line and grabbed it down in Lone Pine. read more

I don't know that anyone looks on Yelp for fast food reviews, but I feel the need to warn people that when I stopped at this location (4/19/26), there was no soap in the women's restroom. And it wasn't like they just ran out, the soap dispensers were missing. My friend even asked an employee if they had soap and she said no. This is shocking to me and a public health hazard. Do the employees have a place to wash their hands??? I don't know. I've never even been to a restaurant that didn't have soap. I think it's actually illegal in CA. I didn't order anything, even coffee, but amazingly my friends still did. The food took a very long time to come out. They also never called the order number, so we didn't even realize the food had been ready for a while. (We saw the bag but figured they were still working on the order because they didn't say anything.) It was truly a horrible experience. I feel really bad for people going through the drive-thru who don't know that the bathrooms don't have soap. Holy smokes this place blows. Not only were we waiting FOREVER for someone to take our order via drive thru but once ordered we continued to sit in line like it was a parking lot. Let me start with most of the reviews are not positive for this location. I pulled in at 9:22 pm Sunday, 4/5/26 and it was closed. The sign on the door says 10:00pm was closing time. Corporate should consider a new operator cuz this one is working hard to get the award for the worst. Even Yelp indicates that they were open, I attached a pic with current time. I was staying about a 3 minute walk away so ordered a chicken sandwich meal from the app and walked on over. Waited about another 5 minutes when I got there and picked up my meal. The one person who handed me the meal was polite. Inside was clean and updated. It was empty at 5 PM on a Friday. Sandwich was good. No complaints here. read more

I kinda of wouldn't recommend this McDonalds. Except it is the only McDonalds in the Bishop area. A stark constrast to other McDonalds I have been to. This McDonalds does not offer table service. You can pick up a table sign from the kiosk and place it on your table like other McDonalds but they just clal off the ticket and make you go to the front to pick up your own order. was therre at 2pm and saw some of the tables had the chairs up on the table as if they were closing. The first thing I saw entering this McDonald's was a sign up that was warning customers not to abuse employees verbally while they were in the restaurant. That may be good advice, but I don't ever remember seeing it before in any other fast food restaurant. Than I started to ask myself "Why would a customer verbally abuse an employee?" Hmmm...maybe its because of the treatment they got while they were there? In my case, I was there twice. The first time I was there I was informed that I had to use the kiosk to order that they would not take my order at the counter. Most McDonalds' will allow you to order at the counter if they are not busy. This one certainly was not busy. The next morning I stopped by and went through the drive through line to order a diet coke. I told the server that I wanted my diet coke without ice. Because of some background noise they did not here that I wanted it without ice. When I pointed out the problem, they refused to get me a diet coke without ice. This would have been a minor cost at most. Especially, considering a diet coke is $3.40 at this McDonalds'. I will never go back. I hope someday the corporate office takes a good look at how many angry customers this McDonalds' has. This location sucks. We waited in line for 35 minutes from the time we entered to the time we got our food. The line just wasn't moving. 15 of those minutes were just waiting for the cashier to take our order. ALWAYS take the right lane in the drive thru. Nobody knows it's there. You will skip the left lane. This isn't the first time this long wait has happened either. The previous time I arrived at the window to be told they were out of the one item I wanted. There was a girl named Yanet or Janet or something like that (slim brunette girl). She was incompetent, didn't make much sense. We placed two orders on the app to pick up through drive thru. One coffee for me and one sausage burrito for my passenger. At the drive thru she told us she could only do one order. I'd never heard anything that ridiculous but she told us 'just pull forward'. In the drive thru window she gave us the wrong order (two sausage McMuffins) then told us we'd have to drive around for the second order (a literal coffee) or pull up front because she could only do one car. This girl really concluded it made more sense to carry a coffee out to a parked car outside (blocking drive thru cars now since they're doing road construction) instead of just giving me the coffee through the drive thru window. The people were nice the food is, well it's McDonalds. The system for ordering and paying, using a kiosk that doesn't even have all the items on the menu, is HORRIBLE. I've virtually stopped using McDonalds because of the automation and lack of human positive interaction. The one person who was customer facing worked her ass off and tried to be helpful but even she could navigate the kiosk successfully to complete our order. McDonalds has lost my entire families business, I have six adult children with families, as we all agree it's not worth the work for small portions of average food. read more

The food is decent. It is typical McDonald's food. The food wasn't the problem. Always consistent and reliable, but I needed to use the restroom. It had a "being cleaned" sign on the door. I finally tried to go in after waiting 15 minutes and seeing someone else go in. The cleaning girl seemed to be chatting with a friend. I had to wait 40 minutes to pee. That puts a person in a bad mood. But there were maybe 3 other groups inside and a short drive through line, yet it took more than 30 minutes to get our food. The order was correct. It seemed the manager was the person bunging things up in back when my husband went to find out why our food was not ready. They said they didn't have the frozen coke, but wouldn't just refund. They did get it made, but I didn't get my drink, a frozen coke, till after I was finally able to use the restroom, 40 minutes after we had ordered. They had prepared it, after we had gotten our other food, but not brought it out or informed us that it was ready. It was melting on the counter out of line of sight of the dining room. I live in this community, and so I frequent this place and it is frustrating to be there trying to be to catch a quick bite and finding quick isn't quick at all.
