[[HIGHLIGHT]]McKendrick's is a solid, classic steakhouse with a traditional fine dining atmosphere.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The service was amazing and our server made great suggestions. We started off with the tempura lobster. It was fried perfectly. We ordered the salmon and the sea bass, both served with sauces on the side. The fish was flavorful enough on its own though. The sides were also tasty, with the creamed spinach being my favorite. The mac and cheese had a few red pepper flakes that added a nice touch. That said, while everything was prepared correctly and tasted good, nothing really stood out as memorable.

While experience was amazing. As a large group of 12+ the service did not slip at all. The food was amazing from the ribeye to the lamb chops, the chicken kabobs, wine service, the desserts. Everything.

Amazing service from our server Mark, everything he suggested was delicious. The 3 of us had the seafood tower (shrimp cocktail, crab cakes and tempura lobster), 1/2 dozen raw oysters, filet, au gratin potatoes and ended with the turtle gelato pie.

I came to McKendrick's for a date night and had an excellent dining experience. The service was wonderful and the staff was very attentive, making sure everything was to our liking. The restaurant ambiance was dimly lit and sultry. We had the crab cake appetizer, which is honestly small for the cost but the taste was splendid. I had the lemon drop martini with sugar rim and it was well-crafted. For the main course, we each had the 8oz. Center cut filet with a side of asparagus. The steak cuts were perfect and flavorful with a side of bearnaise. 10/10 highly recommend!

The service is fantastic. Very upscale and nice atmosphere. I started with the lobster bisque. It had a nice flavor but it wasn't as thick as bisque should be. My parents split the side baked potato, fully loaded, however it came out like warm, if that. I ordered the side brussel sprouts and they were fair. They had parmesan and bacon on them, so they had great flavor, however, they were not fully cooked and definitely nowhere near crispy, as advertised. All three of our steaks were under cooked and had to be sent back. They also discharged the amount of the full bottle of wine from the menu advertised price. For the cost of the food, I expected slightly better. Service was top notch.

I've been here a few times for an impromptu drink and snack at the bar. The bartenders are always nice and provide well made drinks. Since I always sit at the bar, I've only been in casual clothes and no one says anything. However, I have seen other in the dining room far more dressed up. I've only tried seafood appetizers here. The seafood tower allows you to sample a few different items. So far the best thing I've eaten here has been the BBQ Shrimp. The sauce on the shrimp is really smoky and tasty. Everything else that I've tasted has been ok but not very memorable. I would recommend coming here for drinks. I will come back and try the full dining experience to see if the entrees are good.

The place is a little hidden, it's on the side, almost back ,of a strip mall we did two different gps and only found it by being persistent. Parking is self parking, lots of space available. Don't be put off by the menu only having a few steaks listed, the waiter has an equally long list of specials, which was so long we had to ask him to repeat his list. We started off with a seafood tower, was nice but pricy for what you got on the tower, for example we each got 1 chilled shrimp, 1 oysters and 1/2 a lobster tail. For my entree I had prime rib, was very good and large enough so I could not finish, my wife had a filet stuffed with fried shrimp, both item not on the printed menu. We also had the mushroom risotto, very good, and the Brussels sprouts not as good. Here is a tip, ask for a booth instead of a table, they look a lot more comfortable and roomy.

How is their happy hour? Good for a small group or mainly couples?

Couples. The only spaces for more than 2 or 4 people are actual sit down spaces. Overall, not a happy hour type place, it's not festive, it's more formal.

We were there celebrating our engagement, and they made it feel so special by decorating our table with rings and confetti to celebrate our love. Our server gave us so much attention and made the experience feel personal. Since it was our first time there, they took the time to walk us through some of the best items on and off the menu, and shared their favorite dishes. Everything was done with care. The restaurant was clean, the bathroom was amazing, and the food was worth every dollar. The short rib was so tender, and the New York strip was seasoned to perfection and cooked medium well just how we like it. The twice-baked potato loaded with bacon, sour cream, chives, and cheese was delicious, and the mac and cheese was so good. I also appreciated that they allowed me to order it without the roasted saltine crackers. I can't wait to visit again!

This is my second time here and both times have been so good. We came as a party of 3 and left so happy and full. I love Mexican food holy moly We got the queso and octopus shrimp ceviche as starters. The queso was 3 cheeses: American, cotija, and Oaxacan. They heated it up under a salamander so it was nice and crispy on top, while being gooey all throughout. Also came with a couple of nice salsas. The ceviche was not my favorite because I don't prefer raw(ish) octopus, but the squid ink sauce was very flavorful. For our mains the 3 of us shared the red snapper, tuetano with lamb, and the mixteco poblano pepper. Red snapper had a nice charred smoky flavor from being grilled. Was more meaty than flaky in texture. It was our second time getting the mixteco poblano pepper and it hits. Highly recommend eating with some of the salsa as well if you get queso. The duck carnitas in it wasn't particularly duck-y today, but still very good. Best dish is definitely the tuetano. The bone marrow is so incredibly flavorful with the blue corn tortillas. Add some of the pickled onions and it's hard to go wrong with that flavor combo of salt, fat, and acid. if you're going to order one thing, I'd order this and share with a friend and tbh it's enough to be filling. For dessert we got the volcan de chocolate (basically lava cake). The lava cake and coconut ice cream combo is fantastic. You get bits of coconut flakes as you eat! Fair warning it isn't the brownie texture you may be used to, it's a bit more cakey. Amazing service the whole night! Almost got our cars booted because we forgot to validate until 1.5 hours in but luckily we were fine. The staff let us know they have been booting cars though so be wary!

We kicked things off with a couple of incredible Mezcal cocktails that were perfectly balanced and full of flavor. For lunch, we ordered the ribeye tacos and the chicken with mole sauce, and both dishes were outstanding. The ribeye tacos were tender, flavorful, and cooked to perfection, while the mole sauce on the chicken was rich, authentic, and unforgettable. A huge shout-out to our server, Oscar, who made the entire experience even better. He was attentive, personable, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided the kind of service that keeps you coming back. The ambiance deserves just as much praise. The music, décor, and overall atmosphere created a sophisticated, grown-and-sexy vibe that made it perfect for a relaxed date lunch. It's one of those places where you can enjoy amazing food, great cocktails, and simply take your time. Casi Cielo has definitely earned a spot on our list of favorite restaurants. Our daughter spent the first few minutes waving at the staff, and they genuinely lit up every time -- such a warm, welcoming vibe right from the jump. Starters We kicked things off with the she‑crab soup, and that's when we knew the meal was going to be special. Tons of rich crab flavor and chunks of crab. The crispy shrimp toast was another hit -- crunchy, savory, and a great pairing with the soup. We also ordered the Baker's Dozen oysters, chef's selection. All 13 were fresh, clean, and briny in the best way. Next up: the Spanish octopus, and honestly... top five octopus dish we've had. Cooked perfectly -- tender, melt‑in‑your‑mouth texture. The salsa macha added just the right amount of heat, and the marcona almonds brought a great crunch with the cilantro, lime, and mint brightening everything up. What a beautifully composed dish. We finished with the Halibut and Lady peas. The Halibut was topped with lobster and served with a lobster butter sauce, chives, and capers. Rich, buttery, flaky, and perfectly cooked. The lady peas (fava beans, asparagus, and a generous mound of blue crab) were another standout. So much flavor, but everything complemented each other instead of competing. One of those sides you keep looking for more of when it's gone. --- Overall Every dish was thoughtful, balanced, and executed at a high level. Service was warm and genuinely kind -- especially with our little one. 10/10 would recommend
