I like this place - by far the best crust of any pizza joint. To me, it's worth the extra money you pay here just for the crust. My only complaint is I usually get the calzones and the toppings are rather skimpy in them. We have eaten in a few times and service is usually mediocre. read more

I took my four year old niece here for dinner. They offer a decent amount of options on the kids menu. She had the kids macaroni and cheese, which comes with a choice of apples or broccoli and a drink. She ate every last bite of the pasta. It looked like it was homemade - not the box kind. I had a delicious Greek salad that was very fresh and contained a lot of feta cheese. The Greek dressing was creamy and very tasty. I also ordered a small Holy Shiitake Pie, which has mushrooms, cheese, garlic aioli and fresh chives. It was very good but they were a little skimpy on the mushrooms. I love mushrooms and I wanted more of them on my pizza. I felt like the ratio of toppings to crust was a bit off. Too much crust for me. My family loves pizza and yet we have never eaten at a Mellow Mushroom until tonight. The food was delicious and everything looked so fresh. My husband loved the huge beer selection. Never had a bad pizza, just some are better than others. Kosmic Karma or Magical Mystery Tour with sausage and chicken very recommended. Great beer selection and full bar. My favorite pizza in Roswell. Wife likes it, but and likes Johnny's plain cheese a little more. I like the MM crust much better. read more

Love the crust, never soggy. The salads are excellent, especially the salad dressings (Esperanza - love it). The only thing that keeps me from going as often as I would like is the wait staff, they appear to be wishing they were anywhere else but working. Service can be very slow if they are in the mood to chat with one another so I never go when I am real hungry. read more

I brought 17-18 high school age young men to the woodstock rd. location for an end of the year soccer party and wound up spending almost 150.00 dollars for five large pies, drinks, and a tip. When I phoned in my order, I asked that the pizzas would be ready when we arrived. The manager told me that the cokes I had ordered to go (I never said my order was for pick up) could not be consumed and there would be a "slight adjustment" to my bill. So the "adjustment" changed my bill from 96 dollars to over 130.00. Hey, I get that soda is a big money maker for the restaurant, but I just felt completely price gouged. I should have paid and taken the food to go. The pizza was average at best. I will not make the mistake of eating "in" the restaurant again after ordering the gallon coke sizes. read more

Pizza and service were great. Unfortunately I couldn't enjoy either one due to the COLD air in the dining room. After asking them to turn up the heat or turn off the a/c we were told that a few days ago someone bumped the thermostat and it doesn't work anymore. The repair man can't get here until after Christmas!!! This is no way to run a business. Guests should not freeze during dinner. I really did like the pizza but after my first slice the rest was cold. Sorry but this has put a bad taste in my mouth for any Mellow Mushroom. Too bad for them. read more

Although I've dined in maybe a couple times throughout the last few years, the majority of my experiences with this location have been through take-out service. We tend to order around 2-4 large pies for my family to split. They've always finished the pies on time as quoted, and the quality has been consistently great, especially the Magical Mystery Tour. Although it's a bit on the expensive side for pizza, you definitely get your money's worth here. I only wish I had the opportunity to come by here more often. read more

I have had a few good experience with this location however it is the one bad experience that makes me write this review. If not for that experience I would give this place 4 stars just like any other Mellow to me the food is always the same no matter which one you go to. On the night from hell with this location I arrived and was told it would be 15 mins to sit outside no biggie I waited. We sat down in about 20 mins still no big deal. It seemed as though there was only one waiter in a packed house this was not the case! And nobody had even taken our drink orders after almost 30 mins. He made eye contact with us but never even brought a water. Needless to say we left. Could I have gotten up and done something about getting drinks sure I could have but it's not fast food... I was annoyed and on a side note most of the employees looked like dirty hippy's! This was my best attempt to make a long story short. read more

Great, great pizza. Service is awesome, atmosphere is interesting, and there are plenty of mamu options. Service is about as speedy as a non fast food pizza place can get. I have known this particular location to host events regularly (there was a bithday party tonight, and there used to be special events like Video Game Night weekly, but I'm not sure if they still do that). Not really a date night kind of place, but if you want to take the kids or if you're just looking for some good pizza, then this is the place. Might I recommend the Mighty Meaty? They are certainly generous with the toppings. As a final note, Mellow Mushrooms in general tend to be a bit pricey, so be prepared to drop around $30 for a small family. read more

I usually love this place but after today, no way! My son and I came in about 2:50 PM for lunch today. The slice of cheese pizza they served him was an old slice with extra cheese sprinkled on top and reheated! The waiter told me that they were just ending lunch, as if that justifies it!(I'm not even going to post the picture to ruin your business) I ordered the spinach and artichoke dip which came in a way smaller dish than it normally does. Very bad experience at this location. Friday night, we put our name on the list and waited in the designated waiting area. 20 minutes later, we see a party that came in after us get seated. I go to the hostess stand and the response I received, was "Oh - I can still seat you". Excuse me? Hostess said she went to the bar and called us, but never came to the front lobby. Said again, "I can still seat you though", as this was our fault. Order pizza, takes 30 minutes. Restaurant was not busy, lots of empty tables. My husband goes and asks the manager about the status. Manager comes back to the table and proceeds to give excuses in a defensive manner. Our waitress was great by the way. Anyway, as we are leaving the restaurant, I hear an employee yell, "Good- They're gone". I will tell you this, we will never be coming back to this restaurant. The employees, including the manager, were disrespectful, rude, and trite. We used to come here all the time, never again. We like to patronize businesses that care about their business. Well, what was turning into a very bad dining experience turned out great because of the terrific customer service I ended up receiving. I was there tonight, a Sunday, with my husband and 2 teenage kids. Our waiter was Daniel. He was very attentive and very nice and kept our drinks filled. I ordered a BLT hoagie and the others ordered a calzone EACH! We ordered the bruchetta for an appetizer and it was the best you'll get anywhere!! YUM! Loved the balsamic vinaigrette drizzled over it!! So,after an average amount of time that it would take to bake 3 calzones, they were brought to the table...... no BLT sandwich...it was coming I was told. 5 minutes later everyone is stuffing their face with calzone and still no BLT. Seriously????? 3 calzones are done before a sandwich?? Half way through the rest of my family's meal, the waiter comes out with my sandwich. I sat there with my arms crossed and gave him an icy thank you. He did apologize profusely for the hold up in the kitchen but he could see that I was very upset that I was sitting there for so long with no food while everyone else was eating (okay, to be honest, I was stealing some of my daughters calzone). Apparently the kitchen wrapped the hoagie to go. Don't know why it took so long to unwrap it and dump it in a basket, but whatever.......I think they lost it. So, the nice and very smart waiter sent the manager over who was equally very nice and apologetic and comped the sandwich because of the screw up. Very nice! There will be times that not everything runs smoothly in a restaurant but this Mellow Mushroom knows how to make their customers happy and wanting to come back. Our waiter Daniel and the manager (didn't get her name, but she was very sweet and pretty) have made sure that Mellow Mushroom will continue to be our "go to" place for pizza/calzones and subs. Well done! BTW, the sandwich had been sitting around somewhere for a while before I got it, but it was still darn delicious. I ate every bite! read more
