We reached out to several carpet companies for quotes, but most of them gave us prices over the phone without ever seeing the house. Sam was the only one who insisted on coming out in person to inspect everything first--and thank goodness he did. He arrived with a black light and immediately discovered that the existing carpet throughout our home was saturated with pet urine from the previous owners. He even pulled the carpet back to show us that the urine had soaked through the pad and into the baseboards. He was completely honest and told us that even if we paid him $1,000, he wouldn't clean the carpet because it simply wasn't salvageable. That level of honesty is hard to find these days. Instead of trying to sell us a service that wouldn't work, Sam helped us make the right decision by replacing the carpet. His pricing was very fair, and there was never any pressure. We chose our carpet on a Friday, met with Sam the following Tuesday to sign the contract and pay the deposit, and his crew was already at our house demoing the old carpet that same day. The project was expected to be completed by Sunday, but they finished an entire day early on Saturday. The installation came out beautifully. The carpet is incredibly soft and plush--it honestly feels like we're walking on clouds. The craftsmanship is excellent, from the seamless installation throughout the rooms to the beautifully finished stairs. Everything looks clean, professional, and was completed with great attention to detail. Communication throughout the entire process was outstanding. Whenever we called or texted Sam, he responded promptly and kept us informed every step of the way. To top it all off, Sam stands behind his work. He provides a one-year warranty, and if the carpet stretches or anything needs adjusting, they'll come back and make it right at no charge. It's rare to find a contractor who is this honest, responsive, and committed to doing quality work. Even though it looked like a mess in there. I bought a washer and dryer set for about $745, since I was trying to be frugal and it was cheap. The dryer was fine. The washer however shook like an earthquake and didn't spin correctly, leaving the clothes dripping wet! I immediately called Appliance warehouse and they sent a repairman out in a week, they stated it was the soonest someone can come out to check it out. Mind you, I just had a baby and is recovering from a c-section. Having two kids under 2, I need to do laundry and can't wait a week. I was so frustrated! Repairman finally came out and ran a few cycles and stated we have to run it only on "normal" cycle. Ok....I should be able to run it on whatever cycle suits my needs, that's why there are different options on the washer. Days after he came out, same thing the washer was loud and shook again (on normal setting). I called Appliance warehouse again and it's the same story, I had to wait for days for a repairman to come out. I asked if we can get a replacement, and the lady who is tan and has long nails stated "no" the repairman has to try and fix it at least "6" times...EXCUSE ME?? Finally, after one last attempt, repairman came out again, and they washer now does not shake anymore but I am only able to run it on "normal" cycle, not "heavy or light cycle". I found out that all of their washer and dryers are all torn apart and rebuilt with reburnished parts (junky parts). Long story short, go somewhere else! You're better spending an extra $100-200 for a brand new set at Costco. I AM NEVER COMING BACK HERE! Oh yeah, and they tell you to leave as "good review" to get a free month of warranty.

Aside, after retrieving my two tote bags, I immediately began using the black tote bag for carrying purchased shopping items while the Gianni Versace shopping tote carried my personal items. Preface: Slavik, the owner of RSR, i.e., Roseville Shoe Repair replaced the main zipper for the Gianni Versace tote bag, re-sewed/reinforced the exterior seams, reinforced the interior silk compartment's lining seams, and replaced the interior tote's compartment zipper. In addition, Slavik replaced the black tote's warped, old zipper--replaced tote with a new zipper and sewed via attaching two new black leather tote handles due to the original handles were literally disintegrating. FYI and BTW: What are the reasons the inability throwing or recycling either tote bag away? Why waste money, energy, and time repairing two "worthless" tote bags, eh, Shirley? WELP . . . Because the Lancôme black tote bag was the tote bag my Mom gave me along with the largest Lancôme skin care and make-up collection in production for my birthday present seven years before she passed away, i.e., the black tote bag possesses tremendously endearing, sentimental value. Moreover, the Gianni Versace tote bag was a sample tote created from the Gianni Versace's Future Shopping Tote Bag Collection before Gianni passed away. Backstory: Samonnim was designing the shopping tote bag on behalf of Gianni Versace's Future Designer Of The Shopping Tote Bag Collection. Therefore, the Gianni Versace shopping tote bag also possesses an extremely high, sentimental, historical value as well as an awesome birthday gift from Samonnim's heart. Finally, Slavik: Thank you so very much for repairing the main compartment zipper for my Sven Leather Backpack Purse, the Lancôme black tote bag my deceased Mother gave me, and also, the Gianni Versace's Shopping Tote Bag which will never be designed nor replicated!!!! Our pet yorkie decided to dig in one portion of our room, and the carpet was ruined! I called up two companies before calling Michael's Carpet Care. The first one cannot send a repair person for a couple of weeks (would you believe), and the second one has not returned my call to this time of writing. I called Michael's Carpet Care at 8:47am, left a message- and in less than one hour, I got a call back from Michael. I explained the problem to him, he checked his schedule- and to my amazement, he can come TODAY! In a few hours, Michael arrived punctually, went to work so quickly, and in less than 30 minutes- problem solved!!!! The quality of his work is topnotch! I had hired a company to stretch my carpets.... To make a long story short,after he cut along the 5 ft. entrance of the first room & stretched the carpet,it wasn't possible to bring both ends together. One side had a gap aprox.2-3 inches short & the other end aprox. 1 inch. I didnt have any left over carpet from the installer for him to use. As hard as he tried, no salution was found.I it became a very frustrating & complicating matter. This is where Michael came in. He found a salution & amazingly completed the task ! We rearranged all the furniture the night before and made arrangements for our dog to be gone during the day of the cleaning appointment. I had a doctor appointment that morning but my partner was home waiting for Eric to arrive. I received several texts from two different phone numbers stating it was Eric and he had a flat tire. I received these texts while I was at my dr. appointment so I did not see them right away. When I was done with the doctor and saw the texts and replied (within the 8:15am to 9:25am appointment window) he said that he moved onto the next appointment and wouldn't be coming. This was at 9:20 am! I called him several times then and left voicemails but he never answered or called back. There was somebody waiting at the house for him to clean our carpets and he never showed up, wasting our entire morning and having to rearrange all the heavy furniture for nothing. When I tried to contact Groupon to file a complaint and get my money back, he lied and said we called him names like trash and that he refused to refund our money. We told him his customer service was trash, not him personally, which is true! I had to file many complaints and waste so much time with Groupon trying to get my money back from this guy. Do not do business with Pure Clean!!

Take our suggestion or not, just trying to be helpful. P.S. Adding a surcharge to a credit card purchase -must be done AT THE POINT OF SALE - I.e. when I bought the Groupon not after the carpet was cleaned AND btw - Businesses MUST notify the card network and acquirer (processor) in advance of adding a surcharge (Visa/Mastercard requires 30 days' notice). Hope this helps and thanks for mentioning that you usually charge your customers 3% and not charging us. Carpet looks cleaner but we could still see the outline of my furniture (we had to move) when you left and we did have to wash our tile from your footprints.

Very uncomfortable walking on dried up glue the carpet every time going in and out of our bedroom. The seams were not fully together and the carpet was not fastened down in the corners. The cuts in the seams are uneven and the areas near the walls are uneven. The carpet in my closet wasn't even stapled down all the way. There are areas in the house that still have folds. Also they left quite a mess when they left with carpet pieces everywhere. I sent an email to them and no response. I would have rather taken the $2k and put it down on new carpet!
