They give excellent service and warranties and their prices are decent - look for groupons or coupons online, and try to make an appointment before you go. As I am sure many people living in the Vegas area are aware, it is extremely difficult to find an honest, knowledgeable, efficient and customer service oriented facility to fix your car at its time of need. I took my old conversion van to have it's AC serviced along with an issue with the vents not working properly. I honestly was a bit skeptical at first since I was being charged $99 for just reviewing the problem but never the less was called by Pete less than an hour later informing me the issue was fixed and the cost would be only $49 not the $99 originally quoted since it was not a difficult fix. How easy could it have been for him to just go along with the $99 dollar charge or charge an additional amount, yet he was honest, efficient, knowledgeable and now has a customer for life. Was told it would be an hour and a half wait over 2 hours still waiting. Come to find out they did not have the oil filter or oil for my car so they had to order it. Got the Groupon for the A/C system service, and Peter was able to fit my vehicle in right away. After having my vehicle was serviced, I then had my husband's A/C system serviced. Peter was personable, knowledgeable, and courteous. I appreciated his ability to fit both of our vehicles in on the same day without an appointment. I have had my oil changed here and they are always so nice and efficient. I received a free oil change from my car's dealership plus I had a recall on the car that had to be taken care of. After changing the oil and fixing the issue with the recall, the guy at the dealership said that my brakes were so bad that it was dangerous to drive, also, the rotor was in really bad shape and needed replacing. He then said that my car was gushing oil and that the engine mantel was broken. He gave me a huge number to replace everything. My brakes weren't even squeaking and I have a small oil leak which I have had for years. Never have I seen a huge puddle of oil. I left the dealership and went straight to Midas. I talked with Eric and explained what I was just told at the dealership. Eric is super nice and said that they would change my brakes and rotor and give me a quote on the rest. I left my car there with complete confidence in the team. Eric called me a couple of hours later and said that there was nothing wrong with my car! He would love to change the brakes but I still have approximately ten thousand miles on them and nothing is wrong with my rotor. I picked up my car and thanked him for his honesty. If you are looking for some place where they are honest and do good work, this is the place for you. I highly recommend them. read more

My car was squealing and shaking so I had to get my brakes fixed. I went online to schedule an appointment. That process was easy, I was able to choose the service and provide details in regards to my problem. Although I submitted my appointment request after business hours, the next day within an hour or two of the store opening, I received an email that stated my appointment was set. On my appointment day, I was greeted by James, he went out to look at my car and within a matter of a few minutes they had taken it back to start the service. He warned me that it was going to take two hours and that was no problem because when cars are being worked on, you have to give it some time. After about 2 1/2 hours, I returned and my car was pretty much ready so I paid and drove off without the car squealing and vibrating. The reason why I'm giving this Midas five stars is the after care that they showed me. On the Monday after service, I received a text message from James asking if everything was OK and that's what makes the difference between good service and great service. Great service is when care is shown even after the customer is no longer physically in front of the business. So I will return to this Midas for anything else that my car needs in the future. read more

Since moving to Henderson I have been loyal to this Midas. Pete is always working.. I wonder if he ever gets a day off! They are usually booked a week out for oil changes but I never pay full price - there are always wonderful coupons online or I get them in the mail. I typically always wait for my service to be done so I sit in their waiting area which is nice. They have coffee, a candy machine, and a TV with nice couches. Pete always works the front counter and is very helpful especially to those who just walk in and need a speciality part, etc. read more

Either, you're being told to fix things that don't need fixing, being overcharged, or the person (though they may be a great mechanic) has abrasive customer service skills. At this Midas on St. Rose The guy up front (think his name is Paul) knows cars and conducts every transaction fairly and honestly at competitive pricing. I was getting quoted 750+ to get my brakes done at various places, including Pepboys. Got them done here with lifetime warranty on brake pads for 350. If you're scouring yelp to find an affordable repair shop, give this place a shot. read more

I had to get by groupon cancelled because the mechanic at Midas flat out wouldn't put the synthetic oil blend in my car even though the dealership confirmed that's what I came with from the factory. He claimed it would damage my engine but Acura advised that's bogus. What a bunch of lying crooks trying to upsell me. read more

I've had two occasions to go to this facility, and the manager was awesome. Both times I used a Groupon for oil changes. The fact that I used a Groupon was of no concern and I was treated as a full paying customer. Furthermore both he and the mechanic that worked on my cars did not try to up charge me for additional work, although they did rightfully notify me of issues that might arise. These men were a LIFESAVER! I couldn't have been more blessed to bring my car in to this shop. Seriously THE BEST service in town. My car was on it's last leg and broke down right when I pulled into the parking lot of the hotel we were staying at (thank God I made it to Vegas and it didn't break down on the way). I called AAA to have it towed to Midas on a Sunday. They were one of the few shops that were open on a Sunday. Although they didn't have a mechanic on hand to work on the car they were very upfront and honest with what they thought the issue was, how long it would take, etc. They were very professional. I was able to catch a ride back to Los Angeles leaving my car at the shop. Monday morning I received a call with the evaluation mentioning it cost more to repair the car then the value of it. I decided it would be best to sell it at this point. I had the car at Midas for two weeks there after and they were a HUGE help allowing people come see the car, etc. I couldn't have done it without them.... When I had someone interested in purchasing I sent the title to Midas and the Midas staff - Pete, Patrick, Remy - worked with the buyer handing him the title, keys, etc. It was such a relief knowing this was a team of people I could rely on and trust every step of the way. Although I didn't even provide them business since I didn't decide to do the repairs, they were still so giving with their time and energy. Such great service. Thursday I stop by to have a look over of my car for a noise on start up. The manager and the mechanic talked to me and advised to bring my car in the following day for a Compression / Diagnostic test. I drove my Saturn Vue into this location Friday 9/14 @ 8:30 am. The manager Pete sent me 4 different estimates ranging from $1362 - $2065 for Upper Timing Chain Guide is broken off and recommends changing the Balance Timing kit. After some deliberation and calling around (to other shops) I decided not to do the work with them. The manager advised that he would need 2 hours to put my car back together. I told him to call me when my car was ready. I decided to just go over there and wait being that I had a ride, to my surprise my car was just sitting there (about an hour later 3:00pm). When I arrived the manager advised me not to drive the car home because it sounds worse. I told him that I live less than a mile away, he offered to have me leave the car there until I can come up with the money. I told him no, he then tell me "I know with economic times it might be hard but you should tow it". I told him I want my car. He went to start my car and it sounds beyond horrible and would not turn over. After a few words... I was forced to "TOW" my car to another shop that qoted me $1000 for the same work. To get my car on the tow truck, they had to push my car out of their shop. This shop completed the same work and to their and my surprise my Head Gasket is blown!!! Now I am forced to also fix this and have no way to prove that Midas messed up my car. It was a bit surprising to me that when I took my car into Midas the Check Engine light was not on, but now it it (which was brought to my attention by the manager at Midas)and the very talkative mechanic from the day before did not show his face at alland did not speak to me, he had the manager do all of the talking. I don't know where to go from here, but I know I would NEVER return to a Midas. read more

In March I took my 2001 Toyota Avalon to Midas for new rear and front struts and strut mounts, as well as new front lower control arms. When I picked up my car from Midas the skid control and ABS lights were on (which were NOT on when I left my car at Midas). The problem could not be solved while I was at the store due to closing. So I took my car to the Toyota dealership and they found the rear speed sensor had been damaged and also found a zip tie holding a bolt in place on the rear suspension! Cost me $611 to fix (minus $99 for alignment)! I have since filed a complaint with Midas and BBB and Midas has done NOTHING but drag their heels. The consumer relations rep never calls back when he says he will and keeps giving me some excuse about being in California! I will NEVER take my car to Midas again. I expect a refund for the DAMAGE they caused to my car that Toyota had to fix! Terrible Service. Take your car to Midas at your own risk! Oh and Midas didn't even correctly put the back seat back in my car after installing the struts. Only one of the three seat belt buckles were reinserted into the seat cushion. I had to remove the seat and fix the buckles myself! Apparently they aren't concerned whether their customers can wear seatbelts after they're done with the car! Edit: The 3-stars are for Pete and the work he did on my struts. The situation has since been resolved in conjunction with Midas owner. read more

Went today for an oil change. Was greeted by Phil the manager. Very nice, knowledgeable manager. I used a coupon that included a free inspection with the oil change for $17.99. I wanted to know how my brakes were since I've had my car for 8 years and never replaced brake pads. He said it would be completed in an hour, so I went shopping at Home Goods and had lunch at Jimmy Johns. I like this Midas location because it is in walking distance to these shops. I came back in an hour and Phil updated me on everything. He was very honest and said my brakes were at 50%. I mentioned I was told by Meineke my struts were leaking and if he could check those while the car was on the lift. He brought me out and showed me where they were leaking. I like the fact that he didn't give me the runaround because I'm a woman. He understood I'm interested in how my car is working and took the time to explain and show me the struts. He typed up a very reasonable quote for a brake fluid flush and strut replacement. Their prices are cheaper than Meineke. Because of Phil's wonderful customer service, this is my new go-to place to take my car. The waiting area is very comfortable, unlike Jiffy Lube where I usually go, and end up paying double the amount for an oil change. read more

Do not bring your car here for repairs. I decided to have my check engine light taken care of at this location because it was less expensive than Meineke- big mistake. I took the day off from work, Pete (the manager) assured me that everything would be taken care of, I spent $500, and the light was still on. I brought it to Meineke, and they showed me the old part (which was put back on), hoses were not attached, and they just basically screwed me over to help make their quota. One of the best car repair experiences I've had. My brakes were replaced without any pushing for additional work. I was shown the worn parts and was given a complete explanation of the work that would be done. They did their best to keep the costs down and even gave me a discount that I had forgotten to ask for. Newer location located next to Home Goods and Lowes I bought a Groupon for 3 Oil changes with tire rotation etc. i think it was like 40 bucks which is a good deal due to the fact a regular oil change is forty bucks. I highly recommend making an appointment and it will go longer than an hour. I think the waiting area is nice and clean and seems like they only got two guys working. The only problem is they need to expediate an oil change doesnt take an hour++. Remind them to put the oil change sticker on window Also I have noticed when getting oil changes places do not want to rotate persist on doing this!! They dont try to over kill it on selling stuff to you like some other places do. They seem fair and a good place I would go back when I want to take at least an hour to shop at Home Goods! read more
