I had a good experience with the ordering process and the person who helped me explained that the kiosk didn't accommodate turkey as an option to enter so he had to put bacon. I did see after that that he was able to enter turkey as well. I tipped 15% and appreciated that he brought my items to me while I was sitting at a booth waiting for my takeout order as the cafe was pretty empty this morning. When I opened my items at home, there was no turkey at all, and it was bacon. The eggs on the benedicts were SOUR and I tried this several times because I was shocked and worried about the safety of this food item. The English muffin was tough and chewy and the crab cakes were mushy. The hash browns were okay. The croissant bread tasted like it was from Costco. The lemon blended drink was tasteless and I liked the peach soda but it was overfilled so it kept spilling everywhere. I really hope that the restaurant reaches out to me for a full refund given that I did not receive my order as promised and I also have concerns about the safety of the food. read more

In $26, we got: - cappuccino coffee $5.50- 5/5 yummy n frothy in a gorgeous looking mug. I do believe that "it matters what mug you have your coffee from" and i had a lovely day :) - veggie scramble 5/5 - 3 eggs scrambled with veggies and topped with sliced avacado. It comes with a side of toast (wheat, white, sourdough) and potatoes (hashbrown/ house potatoes). Big portion size. I choose the wheat toast and house potatoes and they were delicious :) happy in my tummy!! Deducting 1 star for it being super expensive for a regular weekday breakfast. Everything was tasty, except that they overcooked a couple of the poached eggs and I'm not a huge fan of their english muffins. The hashbrowns were fine but the tater tots were better. The beef patty was angus but very lean, so the garlic aioli helped replace missing moisture. But I think I'd prefer their Hollandaise over the garlic flavored aioli, because... garlic and egg? That said, their crab cakes are very good. And I really liked the spicy Hollandaise that came with them. I have to say, we did enjoy our meals, and our mimosas. The service was great and no one left hungry. We had tried to get into a different brunch spot but backed our when we learned that we had a 1:15 wait ahead of us for a table. This was my friend and mines first time and we had high hopes coming here. The coffee was good and had cute cups and pancakes were great but went downhill from there. our food was undercooked and eggs basically raw, with a nice $4 charge for 3 slices of tomato lol and then being gaslit that the egg was supposed to be cooked like that when addressing the issue. The number one reason for writing a review was the customer service. Our server, a young lady, was very rude and dismissive throughout our time. When asking simple questions we were dismissed and given attitude. She denied any simple modifications and was unfriendly at each time at the table. Hope that this gets better! Decent food, good ambience, alright service. I ordered a Breakfast wrap Supreme with sausage and my friend ordered the Veggie Skillet. I feel like the sausage, potato and cheese in the wrap was good but the pieces of pepper and onion were quite large compared to the other ingredients. If they maintained a better consistency of size for all ingredients it would elevate the wrap's texture to the next level. Also, the best wraps have a sauce that compliments the ingredients well and brings the flavors together - this was missing for this wrap. Maybe the other dishes are better. My parents were referred to this restaurant from our hotel host. It is located in a small shopping center, thankfully it was not packed as they do not have much parking. As soon as you walk in the restaurant it was clean and everyone was so friendly. We waited less than 5 minutes for our table to be seated. The service was excellent, our waitress was constantly checking on us and very friendly. Beware they do charge a service fee. It was 5 of us total and they charged us 18% as seen on receipt. There is nothing on the menu stipulating they are going to charge the service fee. Usually restaurants have it on the menu when it's 6 people or more. Arrived Labor Day, 9:35 am. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Parking full, but clean.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Inside, one server on the other side of the room, and one guy fidgeting with the coffee machine behind the counter. No greeting, no host/hostess, nobody watching the door, in or out. [[HIGHLIGHT]]After 10 minutes, we seated ourselves at the counter--maybe quicker? Big mistake: the often-used blender was just across from us, and it was LOUD.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] After another few minutes, a young lady appeared from the kitchen walk-through, and eventually took our order at 9:50. (We had gotten our own menus and set-ups.) That blender was let to go sometimes for more than a minute while the operator went off to do something else. It was 9:50 by the time we got our order taken: Santa Clara Scramble and a bowl of fruit with two eggs "up". Coffee appeared soon, and refills were pretty much on time. When the food arrived at 10:15 (25 minutes later??), my order looked and tasted good, and the fruit looked fresh enough, but the eggs were scrambled, dumped on a plate with not even a little garnish for cheer. My platter had two little-fingernail-sized chips off the edge, and my coffee cup had one small one on the drinking edge. Chips are a big no-no because they can absorb bacteria--think germs? Between my friend and me, we share over 50+ years of restaurant, catering, concession, fast-food, and fine-dining experience from washing pots and pans up to and through corporate management. I gave one star for the food and so that I could leave a review. Mikayla's has a ton of potential given its location in a mostly industrial area. Three things bring people in and back: a clean place to eat, good food, and good service. Yeah, it's hard to get people to work on a national holiday, but that comes with this business. Think about hiring more part-timers--they always want more hours. One last comment: just after we sat ourselves, a guy came in and ID'd himself as a Santa Clara County food and facility inspector. Not a good look at all for him to show up on a national holiday. There had to have been an urgent complaint or other infraction for him to be there this morning. Good luck Mikayla's! They have a really good menu with a wide variety of breakfast ans brunch options and their service is always so quick! We ordered the chorizo omelette and veggie skillet. Given that it was Sunday, there were a ton of people eating, working, and serving tables, so it was pretty noisy and I had to raise my voice a little to the employees so they could hear me tell them that I was here for my pickup order. The employees were super friendly and kind both over the phone and in-person, but the biscuits and gravy just lacked a lot. The biscuits were too soft all over. I like a soft interior and a crunch exterior, but the biscuits had the same consistency as sponge cake, which was a huge bummer. The gravy was decent, and you could really taste the nutmeg, but I wish there was more pepper in the gravy. This place could be a lot better, and I hope they make the steps to elevate their biscuits and gravy. read more

I ordered the spicy crab cake benedict and my friend ordered the hot mama scramble and garlic fries. The spicy crab cake benedict was okay, I would give it 3 star outs of 5. It was particularly spicy at all and the crab cake doesn't seem to taste like it was made with real crab. It looks and tastes like it is made with imitation crab, so I was a bit disappointed. The hollandaise sauce wasn't the standard sauce and it wasn't spicy either, so I'm not quite sure what makes this "spicy". The hash browns that came with it was just a little golden brown, so it was super crispy, which I was also a little disappointed in as well. Overall it was okay. I can't speak for the hot mama scramble, but it looked super healthy and smaller portion. The garlic fries were decent, but it came really late; we were practically done with our entrees by the time it came. The fries were perfectly crispy, but it didn't taste like there was fresh garlic on it - it was garlicky enough. We also didn't see very much of the garlic pieces on the dish either. Most of them liked their food, though one of them thought the lox and capers benedict wasn't amazing. I ordered the spicy crab benedict with hashbrowns. I've tried crab cakes in Boston before, and these weren't comparable. They were good and spicy though. Breaded nicely, but lacked a little oomph. I just wanted to try it because I've never seen a crab cake benedict on a menu! The strawberry mimosa was good, but the fruit was too big to fit through the opening. Would be nice if they either chopped the fruit smaller or got a pitcher with a wider opening. The fruit was get stuck in the opening and pouring the mimosa out led to splashing. It's a cute spot though and I'd probably come back and try something else. Maybe it'd be better to go earlier, when they're not so busy though. Ordered from here through a delivery app. I had seen a Vegan Tofu wrap in some pictures which was not on the online menu though. I called and asked and they said they would be able to make a vegan wrap if I ordered the Veggie / Herbivore and just mentioned it in the instructions. I was excited to try the Vegan wrap when it arrived, because it is quite rare to find good / interesting vegan options at breakfast restaurants in the south bay area I feel. However I was disappointed , since the tofu had an overpowering turmeric flavor and no other flavors and also needed more salt I think. This is my first time here and for those that have followed me for some time know I can't, in good conscience, give 5 stars from my first visit and definitely if I had not visited the facilities. After checking out of our room at the Hyatt Regency down the street, my friend and I decided we should grab some breakfast. We found Mikayla's and chose IT as my daughter's name is Makaila...lol! We pulled into the quaint parking lot at about 12:15, on a Sunday. Place was on and poppin but thankfully for our party of 2 there was no wait. There was ample parking but I don't know if that would be the case on a regular business day as there were other store fronts that were closed. The place is easy to find, just a short way from Levi stadium. The restaurant is small but because of the decor and table placement doesn't feel cramped. We were greeted right away and seated just as expeditiously. We ordered a thai tea and an arnold palmer. Both were delicious. My friend and I typically order stuff and then just share. I decided I would order a few sides. She chose the Caramel Crumble French Toast. Our Order: 1. Caramel Crumble French Toast. Comes with 2 texas toast sized slices of french toast of course cut in half. Drizzled in caramel, topped with cinnamon coffee cake crumbles, pecans and a nice huge dollop of whipped cream. It was YUM!!!!! I'd order that again! 2. Biscuits and Sausage Gravy: comes with 2 whole biscuits split in half and smothered in a sausage gravy. Gravy was well seasoned and included large pieces of sausage. 3. 2 eggs over hard and a side of bacon: I sometimes forget not everyone knows what "eggs over hard is". The plate came to the table and eggs were over medium. So I asked the waitress just to have the chef cook it unside down some. She apologized and took the plate. Then a few minutes later another waiter came and asked how I wanted my eggs and so I explained. Then a fw moments later my plate came and eggs were perfect. Bacon was a decent thickness and it came 4 to an order. All in all we paid $38 which was not bad for the portion size. We had leftovers to take to-go. read more

I came here with with my friend to grab some breakfast before heading to the Amtrak train station. We were looking for breakfast/brunch spots nearby and we found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try! We both ordered a mikayla's iced coffee which is just coffee, condensed milk, and soy milk on top. It was the perfect balance between coffee flavor and sweetness! I'm not a huge fan of sugary coffee but this was incredible. I would come back for the coffee alone if I'm ever in the area. I also tried out the Lox Lover sandwich, which is your typical smoked salmon sandwich but on a croissant. This was also amazing!!!! If you like smoked salmon bagels, this is definitely something you should try. The staff was very friendly and our food/drinks came out fairly quickly. The waffle was so dry and hard to eat, the chicken was a fried chicken breast.........i guess it was my mistake for not consulting Yelp before I ordered this. I got a bite of the crab cake benedict and it was a lot better than my chicken and waffles for sure but it didn't wow me for me to want to order myself. I'm pretty sure it was imitation crab, not worth $17. The first time they brought it out, the poached was pretty much hard boiled, after they remade it, the egg came out perfectly. This is a small shop in a strip mall (on Tasman). There's a few spots to park but since there's a bunch of eateries, it can be a bit messy trying to find parking here. We were here on a Wednesday afternoon and it was not busy. The servers were quick with taking our orders and bringing out food. To start with, we got an Arnold Palmer and a freshly squeezed OJ. The drinks were top notch and we ordered seconds even before our food arrived. We got some benedicts for brunch, the veggie, and the lox and capers. The english muffins were toasted tender, the eggs had a good texture and were the right amount of runny, the toppings were alright although a bit hard to find and taste, and the hollandaise sauce was quite good. Roasted potatoes on the side had a nice crunch and complimented the entree pretty well.
