The employees are so friendly and efficient. My husband had salmon and eggs Benedict. They were delicious. I ordered scramble eggs potatoes and a pumpkin muffin. One item listed is Turkey, then dressing sweet candied mashed potatoes... with mash potatoes and gravy orange cranberry sauce. Be aware before you order if the waitress says, "Just so you know there is no dark meat, Turkey left. Just white meat". What she should have said, being real, the Turkey is pressed meat, that folks is why there is no dark turkey meat. Two slices of it laid on top of salty dressing. Make sure you ask for extra gravy. Ya gonna need it if you are game to continue eating. Oh yes, there is desert pumpkin pie or pecan pie. Your choice... after getting one of each between two people, pumpkin pie looked off green, pecan pie you had to look for it. Took it home and needless to say found a great place for it and that being the trash. Ok, it's our fault for not just cooking soup at home and calling it a day. Just wanted Thanksgiving dinner, not the resemblance of Thanksgiving dinner or a wish it away meal. I've been to Mimies in the past, but this experience is a done deal breaker. Never again. Went to Mimi's Cafe with my family today, it was a very depressing place. There were only a few customers. The server did his best to serve us but the food took so long to the point that we started getting bored waiting for the food. The food also tasted mediocre. I hate to give this kind of review to a business but this was probably the last time we're going to this restaurant. There was a little wait to get in here so I thought maybe it would be good. I was mistaken. The waitress was great and very tentative but the food was sad. I got the cornbeef hash benedict. The cornbeef was blah and it consistented of mostly diced potatoes. The sauce was broken and watery. They eggs we so small as well. Definitely not worth the price you are paying. Well 1st and last time coming here. The artichoke dip was served with stale bread. So we then ordered a breakfast burrito that swam in grease. The plate was greasy on the outside as well. I had a shrimp and pineapple salad that was delicious . The potatoes that came with the burrito were over cooked dried out like they had been cooked 2 days ago. The waiter was great.
