I have been looking for some delicious Pho in the greater Seattle area and I am so glad that I was able to find Miss Pho which definitely fit the bill. We went on a Saturday around 7PM and had a brief 5 minute wait before we were able to get seated at the bar. Miss Pho is located in the shopping plaza with a QFC nearby, so there should be ample parking in the area. The restaurant did seem very busy when we went, as there was a constant stream of people coming in and out of the restaurant - there like 3 parties of people ahead of us. Seating as other reviewers have mentioned is limited, I would estimate about 20-25 at most can be seated at a time. Luckily for us, we moved faster in the wait list the parties were 3-4 people we were able to get bar seating with 2. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice! There are decorations that are Vietnamese inspired and I am a fan of the open kitchen, there is a nice liveliness seeing bowls of pho being transported and the big stockpot brewing the aromatic broth! Service is good, we ordered and were able to get our food about 10-15 minutes after ordering. We got a couple of items, which I'll review down below: Miss Pho Special ($26): This is a novel bowl of pho! A large beef rib with decent amount of meat on the bone. The meat was tender and there was a good amount of onion to diversify the texture in the bowl. You can taste some of the aromatics such as cinnamon in the broth, which is pleasing. As nice of a bowl of pho as this was, I think I also do agree with some of the other reviewers mentioning that it does feel a bit more style over substance - like the egg yolk was nice, but this was the first time seeing (at least for me) presented in a bowl of pho. Price-wise, $26 for a bowl of pho does lean expensive for sure - I think I wanted to try it out to gauge the flavor, but I don't think I will order it again next time. Fresh Vermicelli Bowl with Pork ($18): The pork had a delicious smokey barbecue with a pleasant lemongrass flavor, and the pork was sliced in a way that allowed for maximum barbecue flavor. The herbs were refreshing and I am a big fan of the basil and mint, as it gave the bowl a pop of aromatic flavor between the flavorful pork. Miss Mango Coco ($8): Wanted to try out the Miss Mango Coco as it is a seasonal item. It is a big heaping drink as you can see in the photo! It is nice and refreshing as you basically have a mango slushie ice tower with a cool coconut mixture at the bottom. Crispy Taro Rolls ($8): The crispy taro rolls were decent - they were fried well and the filling was definitely packed with taro. I do think that the rolls on their own don't have a lot of flavor, as they are mostly taro packed, but taste better with the dipping sauce options that it comes with. I think as good as this appetizer was, I might go with a different option in the future. The food served at Miss Pho was scrumptious and is a very solid place if you are looking to get your Vietnamese food fill. Though it does lean pricier in terms of price per bowl of pho that I have personally experienced ($19 - $26 seems to be average in greater Seattle), I do think you get a higher quality in comparison to comparable Vietnamese restaurants with the quality of the broth, meat, service, etc. One thing that I wished that Miss Pho offered was additional option to customize the pho, like the best Pho restaurants that I have been to have had all the combinations of meat possible listed in the menu (Like if I wanted just rare steak and tendon, and brisket, and I could get just that). The preset bowls are nice and all, but the extra customization would make this place better in my opinion. This spot might be my new favorite photo place in Seattle, and unfortunately sucks for me being farther away. The parking lot is a crowded strip next to QFC, while the restaurant is small internally. The beef pho broth here is tremendously flavorful (and aromatic where your face and clothes retain the smell too) while the portion of noodles and meat is rewarding and proportionate to the size and price. The pho Hanoi special beef shank was just a bit different with its garlic taste, otherwise the chin (brisket) was plentiful and thicker giving it a good bite, rather than other places that do it paper thin. It can be crowded on weekends, but they take your orders as you're next on the waitlist to snag a table, which makes the turnover more efficient. The pho is very good. It's one of the top pho places in Seattle. I honestly don't understand why I slept on it for so long, while this is one of the closer pho shops from my home. I recommend coming in at off hours because this place gets crazy packed. Everyone seem to know about this place. I went around 5 pm on a weekday and the seats filled very quickly then. I went another time on Sunday night, thinking people would be chilling at home, but the place was even more packed than the last time I was there. People were waiting in their car in the parking lot. I took the bus to the shop so I was waiting outside, but the staff realized I was the only one waiting in the cold and she let me sit in the little chair by the counter. I thought that was so nice of her. Fortunately, since I was there by myself, I got seated very quickly at the counter. So far, I tried the classic pho with rare rib eye steak and pho with beef on the bone, as pictured. I actually preferred the pho with the beef on the bone because you can take it out immediately before the fat from the meat makes the soup very heavy. They use tender meat which I appreciate, but the meat is also quite fatty - I prefer lighter broth so I think I need to find the kind of meat that's not too heavy next time. Nut allergy friendly: I would be careful of the special "Pho Bo Sa Te", which comes with peanuts on top; I ordered the "Miss Pho Special" which is the beef rib pho and had no issues. They get bowls out FAST and the main wait time would be just waiting for people to eat them. I ordered the "Miss Pho Special" and the first thing you see is the huge beef rib sticking out of the bowl. Unfortunately... I will say, it doesn't live up to the hype. The beef rib is surprisingly tough as if it's overcooked, but maybe I'm spoiled from other beef rib from Texas. You definitely have to bite into the rib and it won't just fall off with chopsticks. The lean beef in the dish was also a bit overcooked and tough. However! The rest of the beef pho is very good. Broth is hearty with the beef flavor and just enough salt and spice. The noodles had great chewiness. There was a good balance of protein and the size of the dish was enough to actually leave me full, which I almost never am with a regular Pho bowl. I wasn't really sure what the point of the egg yolk was other than aesthetics.. I didn't really think it did anything with the dish, but maybe I was supposed to down it in one bite instead of mixing it in. The hype is real. This place is 1000% legit. It was hands down the best pho I have had in Seattle or maybe ever. I took a sip of my broth and was so impressed that I just kept eating. I never even stopped to add basil or freshly squeezed lime or bean sprouts. I was hooked from first sip. I did go with the Miss Pho special which is a big bowl and I wasn't able to finish. I normally share my leftovers but I greedily hid my leftovers bc I didn't want to share the goodness with anybody. The fried tofu was delicious too. With so many pho choices, Miss Pho stands out to me because of their offerings and their team. The first time I came here was on a busy mothers day afternoon and the place was packed. Since I was dining alone, I was able to get a seat at the bar. It took about 15 minutes for me to be seated. What I will say about the bar is that the wait for a seat is worth it. The stools at the bar are small and pretty small and uncomfortable to sit in. They also swivel, so be careful. The restaurant is clean and there is a yellow moped bike in there for decorative purposes. The bike is a nice touch for aesthetics, but it's also a bit of an albatross for me. Instead of the bike, they could put another table there instead to serve more customers. Just my opinion.... The popularity of this place had outpaced the available space. I was surprised at how small the restaurant is. There aren't tons of seats, which is what contributes to the long wait times in peak hours. Ok so the food, the food! I've been here twice and both times have been happy with my choices. I've had the beef rib pho and their special pho (can't remember the name). Both were great. The beef rib pho yields a lot of beef, and even though the meat is tender, you will still need the help of some scissors to get the meat off the bone. Their special pho, the one with the rich red broth, is unique in it's flavor and I really like how the broth hangs on to the noodles. Its a total flavor bomb and you won't need to add any additional sauces if you don't want to. The fried tofu was a nice yummy touch as well. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the salt and pepper shrimp. It has a thick coating of batter which when cold, was unpleasant to eat. I've been here twice now and there will certainly be more visits. If you haven't tried the garlic butter wings, it's an absolute must. If I were to ever visit alone or order takeout for just myself, I might even skip the pho and go for just an order of wings. I've had their Miss Pho Special and I believe it was well worth the price. I won't be getting it every time but if you want to treat yourself out or want to treat someone else to the best of the best, this is the bowl to get. The second time I visited, I had a regular bowl of pho which was also very good. Parking is a bit tough if you want to get a spot near the shop but the larger lot offers more spots the further away you venture. My bf and I ordered the pho sa te, pho Ha Noi, and shared the garlic butter crispy chicken wings. Food came out piping hot. We started our meal with the chicken wings and the texture was amazing. Super crispy on the outside and moist and juicy on the inside. For the two phos, I was really impressed with their broths. Between the two phos, I liked the pho sa te better. This cozy little restaurant is hands down my favorite place to get pho in Seattle! Generous portions and the most consistent quality you could ask for. This time around, I got the Salt & Pepper Calamari, a regular Brisket and Tripe Pho, and the Pho Ha Noi. The calamari is super flavorful and perfectly crispy, with huge pieces of squid. Both pho broths were just right and they give you a lot of noodles and meat in my opinion! Upon arriving there were many groups of people waiting outside of the establishment- making it hard to walk inside. My cousin and I were given harsh glares from both customers and employees upon walking in to sign our names on the wait list- We were not** welcomed. Once we got in line to put our names on the list we were told to stand outside and wait for our orders, we tried to make it clear that we hadn't even gotten to speak to anyone yet and we were disregarded and told to stand next to the fish tank while they moved a table, then they boxed us in at the entry. We had to watch other people go past us and sign up for the wait list before us- when the table was finally moved I went to sign my name on the wait list whilst the woman who initially told us to leave interrogated my cousin about having an order, then told him it would be a thirty minute wait to eat. Customers also chattered about us looking "sketchy". We ultimately felt uncomfortable by that experience and decided to eat elsewhere. read more

I tried the pho sa te (spicy one of the three specials) and fresh spring rolls with shrimp. The fresh rolls came with peanut sauce and were good/standard! Pho sa te definitely felt fusion-y to me with the tomato slices and creamy and sweet flavors. I asked for spicy level 5 (their highest) and didn't think it was spicy at all. I tasted more of the sweet flavor than the spicy. There are a lot of flavors going on, so I didn't add any oyster sauce or sriracha (I typically do). Special/fun to try, but it doesn't give you the "I had a solid bowl of hot pho!" feeling, so I wouldn't return. read more
