    Banana coconut pancake - huge!
    Tery L.

If you're looking for a great breakfast or brunch spot while you're in Honolulu, be sure to check out Moena Cafe at Koko Marina Center. The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable for the amount of food you get, and the coffee is absolutely delicious. Definitely a must-try!

The short rib loco moco was amazing and definitely my favorite. The sauce was great and it's a generous portion for one. The pancake, forgetting what the sauce was, was really satisfying too. The pineapple sausage was also quite nice. Overall the food was delicious. Maybe we were just especially hungry after doing the Koko Crater Railway hike, but I highly recommend this place anyways!

Really good comfort food. Just fyi..their pancakes are HUGE! We actually thought we hadn't been there when we picked it out this time but we were there 2 trips ago haha. Service is always top notch. So now we've been there twice and still the same...great food and great service... We had their banana Chantilly pancake, suuuuuuper delicious Their Kailua pig Benedict And their sausage hash. All very good.

This place is good, but I feel like the portions could be bigger. They sat us really fast and the service is good. The place is clean and a cute little café perfect for after a hike at koko head.

4.5 stars for a solid brunch spot! The short rib fried rice loco moco was a standout, featuring perfectly meaty and tender short ribs--a welcome change from the fatty or tough cuts you often find elsewhere. The veggie omelette was good, though it met expectations without any surprises. Pancakes were as wonderfully fluffy as remembered. While the cinnamon roll was overly sweet for my taste, the mochi lilikoi was delicious, particularly the yummy, sweet jam, even if the "mochi" aspect wasn't very prominent. I'd definitely order the lilikoi again, but skip the cinnamon roll. My matcha latte was too sweet, but the staff kindly allowed me to swap it for their strong coffee, which comes with a complimentary refill!

The New KAWIKA! Banana Chantilly pancake with fresh Fruit

This has become my favorite Breakfast Spot!! The food is amazing (I plan yo experience Everything on their menu)!! The service is incredible! And it's has a very friendly and casual ambiance!! Today I had their Loco Moco w/ fried rice and 3 eggs with Cheese! Plus their Banana Chantilly Pancake! Now, because I always would get the Fruity French Toast I decided to do something different, so I ordered the Banana Chantilly Pancake and added a Bowl of Fruit!! Creating a totally NEW DISH called the KAWIKA!

Second weekend in a row. Living for the pancake! Went on a Saturday around 1030. Not as busy as last Sunday when I went but totally worth the wait and the staff was nice and helpful.

Short Rib Loco Moco and Kalua Pig Benedict

Awesome cafe with so many options! I had Short Rib Loco Moco. I would say the portion was enough for 2 people I had no stomach space for yummy looking sweets I had a cup of coffee (come with one refill). I was surprised by warmed milk in a warmed pitcher for my coffee! They warned up every plates and cups. I can tell they really take care of what they serve. Their food was excellent and service was awesome Although they won't take a reservation, but it worth the wait!

Went to celebrate my birthday with 6 of my girlfriends and was disappointed that they keep increasing their service charge to 4% for their wait staff despite new rulings! P!us 20% gratuity was added! I didn't notice it on the menu plus they "nickel and dime" you for everything! $1.50 if you want more gravy! Don't offer if there is a charge! Service did not warrant 20% when she spilled water on my section of the table and said she would be back to wipe it up! Nada, never came back and the restaurant was not full! Used to come every 3rd Saturday when there was a plant exchange nearby....not anymore! My $14 crepe ended up $18.02! $4 more!

Cute cafe with absolutely delicious food! Yes, we did have to wait close to 30 minutes but the food and service made up for it. Everyone was lovely and the service was very quick. The pancakes were soft and perfectly sweet. The sausage hash was also delicious!

The omelette here was so unique I started trying this at home! Be sure to order the kalua pig which is shredded roasted pig inside of an omelette. Back home, I eat pernil all the time but never tried to put it inside of an omelette, game-changer! The omelette game with a piece of toast and a small slice of pineapple and strawberry. Paired it with a latte and a perfect breakfast. There are tons of juice, coffee, and matcha options as well (if you're cup of tea is matcha). Located inside of a strip mall (seeing a common theme here in Hawaii), there is ample parking if you have a rental car here. Servers and locals here are friendly which has been my experience traveling the entire island.

Top: Avocado Toast w/ bacon, Middle: Short Rib Loco Moco, Bottom: Fresh Corned Beef Hash

My party and I shared the Avocado Toast with bacon, Short Rib Loco Moco, and Corned Beef Hash for lunch. The Short Rib Loco Moco was my favorite! We ordered it with fried rice which was a tasty combination with the tender meat and gravy. The Avocado Toast and the Corned Beef Hash were both okay but there wasn't anything special that stood out. We visited on a Saturday around 1pm and luckily we only had to wait 5 minutes for a table! You do have to sign your name on the wait list when you get there. The restaurant was bright, service was friendly, and there's a good number of seating. It's located in the Koko Marina Shopping Center which shares a lot with other stores so there's always parking!

A very clean place with cheerful folks driving it. I had the veggie omelette that was filling but not heavy. Will definitely visit it again!

Don't get the ham and veggie crepe. It's super bland with zero flavor. And their coffee tastes like chemicals.

Their menu has a list larger than Denny's and the food quality was over the moon! Service style is very diner style, with an aloha twist. Server was very personal and had a very sweet and charming smile. Definitely what I want first thing in the morning. The cafe is very cute, personally I find it a little tight and a lot of background noise but makes it very festive. They are quite pack yet they are very efficient and the food comes out quick. For the food, Eggs Benedict was good egg was nice and yolky. The Canadian bacon is crispy and provides the perfect saltiness that balances the yolk of the egg. The French toast is sweet, both heavy and light. The heaviness of the croissant paired with the syrup creates a nice heavy punch with the whip cream and berries creating a fluffy light texture.

Hit the brunch spot for sure!

There was no notice on Instagram, and we had driven all the way out to Koko Marina (during normal business hours) for nothing.
