This spot has some of the best drinks I've had -- especially their specialty yogurt milk teas. They're fresh, creamy, and so refreshing all at once -- like a mix between a froyo smoothie and a milk tea. We tried a few different drinks, but my favorite was the Strawberry Blizz. We also got the Sunset, Mango Blizz, and Thai Tea, all of which were tasty in their own ways. They're conveniently connected to Maru Ramen, so you can also grab small bites from while enjoying your drinks. Definitely worth checking out if you're in Elk Grove!
I got a drink here because it was next door to the ramen spot next door with connecting door. The drink was okay. I got the strawberry jammin which is basically a strawberry smoothie. Service was decent. There is a lot of seating in the boba shop. Good for small hang outs.
What stood out about this place is their chubby cup and cute cow mascot. My friends and I were having lunch next door so we decided to stop by here afterwards. This is a pretty cute boba shop. I felt their menu is kinda limited and they didn't really have unique drinks or something that caught my eyes. It was late afternoon so I wanted to get a drink with no caffeine. I got a coconut slushie. It was ok but nothing special. Services could be better. When the drinks were ready, they just placed the drinks on the ready table without announcing anything. Some customers had to ask them if the drinks were theirs.
I've been on a boba kick recently and Moo Moo did not disappoint! They have a specialized menu featuring food and snacks as well. They located in a fairly busy shopping center but there is plenty of parking available and it's easy to spot. Upon arrival I was helped quickly and the had the drink in hand within 5 minutes. Inside there was seating but it's a smaller grab and go spot. I got the Taro Milk Tea and it was great! It had a generous amount of boba pearls and perfect amount of sweetness (I didn't adjust anything).
Pretty good, I favor the chubby cup size. I think it's cute. Other than that, it tastes like any other ordinary boba spot. It's not outstanding but still enjoyable. Though, I do wish they had some sort of additional cream option like salted cream foam would be nice and also better menus. Upon arriving, their inside menus are kind of overwhelming to look at when you aren't sure what to order. Service: 4/5 Ambience: 3/5 Drink: 3/5
One of my favorite boba spots!!!! I love the theme of the boba shop it's adorable. I never knew they had a food menu but I'm so glad I was able to try these chicken wings. I was so surprised by how much flavor these wings had! I will definitely be coming back for my chicken wings and boba. The atmosphere of this place is so clean and they play good music. I love everything about this boba spot.
I have always wanted to try this place out because it is next to my favorite Ramen shop Maru Ramen. I was 100% happy with the service that I received here. The three people that were behind the register were extremely friendly, very attentive and happy to answer any of my questions that I had regarding the drinks. After my order comma I took look around the space and I will say the ambience was super chill. There were at least about six other people in the restaurant having their own conversation. The music was not too loud which allowed them to hear each other quite easily because I did not hear anyone shouting LOL. The drink itself was superb. I could really taste the freshness and quality of the tea. The amount of milk added was enough to make it creamy but not take away from the tea taste, and the boba made perfectly. I like boba that has a little bit of a bite and that is exactly what I got. Would definitely go back and enjoy another tea from here.
Stopped in randomly with my son after, as he said he'd been here before and that it was good. It's always hard to go to a new boba place as you never really know what to look for or try. So I tend to stick to the usual and go with a Thai Tea but decided to look around the menu this time for something new. My son wanted something simple this time and chose a Thai Tea with brown sugar Bobs, and I decided to go with a Strawberry Green Tea w/Strawberry popping Boba. Both drinks were really good, and now I have another Boba option to try when I'm in the area.
Their cow logo is very cute, staff are patient and friendly when I was trying to decide on a drink. I chose one of the black milk tea with boba, and for $7.60 it felt like it was missing something and or the price didn't quite match the drink and or quality. It's still worth the try with plenty indoor seating available, where you can work or study or even bring your own card games for example as the environment seemed relaxing with music on the louder side. I look forward to coming back and trying their savory food and or other drinks.
4 stars We've been here a handful of times later in the evening. It's located in the Dollar Tree parking lot east of Walmart near 99. If you're looking for eats & drinks past 8, or any eats in this area for that matter, you will see there isn't much open on that side besides Maru (ramen), Dennys (24 hour diner), and Moomoo. Moomoo offers the typical boba & snacks that you'd expect from a place like this, but the one thing that might set it apart than others is that they guarantee fresh brewed tea daily. For me, I prefer real tea, vs. powder, so it's a little more comforting to me to know that. Also, another thing is they actually take a while to make my items. But that's a good thing, cuz every time I get my fried chicken wings, it's actually very hot, scalding, steaming even, freshly cooked, and tasty. The matcha green tea was good, maybe a little too sweet, but it definitely was on the yummier side. Next time, I may try the roasted oolong or the Earl Grey, my two other go-tos. Most milk teas, slushies, & snow bubble drinks are $3.85. The signature drinks like the Coco Mocha & the Taro Lover which sound a little tasty but are a little more expensive are up to $4.85. The frappes like the Cow Bell & green tea caramel are $4.95. They also have coffees and I don't know if it's a typo but on Grubhub online, the MooMoos Latte is $55.25! Must be some drink! Other nice things is Moo Moo and the noodle place Maru and the same owners, I believe, so you can get food from Maru, which serves super yummy ramen and eat it at Moo Moo while you sip your boba. I like that there's somewhat privacy here in the sense that the corner tables feel like there's more quiet, and less hustle & bustle. This is gonna sound weird but I really love the smell of the floor cleaner when they mop. I don't know exactly what cleaner they use but it's both off-putting and yummy smelling at the same time. They typically mop from between 745-830, in case you're curious. We like coming here for after dinner studying, reading, conversation, and casual meetings. They also have wifi and I see people with lap tops here as well. I see kids & families come in here too. Come and try the freshly fried wings or fries. Super yummy, hot, and fresh.

Honestly, if it wasn't for Maru Ramen Bar being next door, I don't know if I would come here willfully knowing there's so many boba places in Elk Grove/Sacramento, but I had a good drink that went with my dinner for the night. I opted for the Taro Coconut milk tea with egg pudding with 50% sweetness. I was told it's their most popular milk tea. The taro was subtle but enough to taste and the coconut was strong enough to balance out the entire flavor. It's a perfect combo. I didn't get boba since I wasn't craving it at the time, but from what I remember when I tried it years ago, it wasn't anything to write home about. Maybe I just need to give it another chance. They have an "off the menu" board sitting at the left of the register for specialty drinks that'd I'd be curious to try from next time. This place is not too shabby. Stopped by here for a drink since I was in the area waiting to kill time before my hair appointment. Walked in one late afternoon and this place was pretty vacant with two patrons hanging out at a table sipping on their drinks. I walked up to the counter and was a bit confused with their hard-to-read menu in SUPER tiny font. (I wear contacts and it was still hard to read!) Would be nice if they have a better menu that is more visible to read! Anyways, I opted for the taro snow bubble with added egg pudding and mixed jelly. The drink was a bit on the sweet side. The consistency was too thick; I was only able to sip on the melted liquid in the bottom of my cup. The mixed jelly and egg pudding threw off the drink flavor a tad bit. I ended up having to mix up the slush to get a better taste of it. The drink was overall good, but I definitely had better elsewhere. read more
Went to try their shaved snow today and it tasted pretty good! Got a large green tea with condensed milk, oreos, and mixed fruit jelly. The toppings somehow managed to overpower the shaved snow in flavor in the end, but I thought it tasted pretty good overall. It was the perfect size to share amongst three. However, a couple issues that made me feel a little iffy... 1. It's *still* cash only with a small sign saying that they're having issues with the phone line/ethernet cable. I think it has been about a month now? =/ At the moment, they're just using a written calculated sheet + calculator instead of an actual register. 2. My friends and I got charged more than what we ordered because the guy mistakenly thought we ordered 3 toppings instead of 2 toppings + 1 sauce that's included in the price of the large shaved snow. I really don't want to downrate Moo Moo since their products are pretty decent tasting. But again, do PAY ATTENTION to what you're paying for. Thank goodness my friend thought the pricing seemed off because I totally would have missed it myself. read more

This was my first ever experience at a Tea House. Unfortunately, they ran out of regular boba just before we got there. I just had no idea where to start so, I chickened out and got a hazelnut latte. It was DELICIOUS! Their little cups are so cute. The staff was friendly enough. It was a little quiet, but seemed clean. I wanna go back and actually try it but, we'd just tried the Brazilian place and I was done experimenting! read more

So on April 20, 2018 I decided to try their lavender milk tea because I have been obsessing over lavender drinks lately. I came in to order a lavender jasmine or green tea, I honestly forgot which one, with NO ICE, 75% sweetness and no toppings. The drink I received had a huge empty gap (okay might not be that huge to some ppl) but this is not ok. I should've went back in to complain but I had leave quickly due to my next plans. Not really sure how MooMoo does their no ice drink policy but this isnt worth my $4 something. read more

My second time to visit Moo Moo. This is such a cute shop! I love the grey metallic wall with the cherry blossom mural. First time was a Mango black tea with boba which was excellent. Today I got Mango Green tea with boba which I like better. It's sweet but a little more tart. The staff here are always very nice too. read more

I got the hot taro milk tea. It was good. Not too sweet, not too bland. Just right. The temperature was super hot but it was perfect for me bc by the time I got to drink it, it was perfect temperature. :) still kind of hot but drinkable where it doesn't burn your tongue and still warms you up inside. The decor is all white and clean. It looked kind of empty but a lot of people probably just stop in to pick up like I did. I came here because it was near hokee poke and wanted a drink and poke :) Sorry I can't share whether the boba texture is good or not. I'm not a big boba fan. Big plus is that they have almond and soy milk as an alternative! I prefer almond but they just ran out today. ALWAYS good to have alternatives... :) read more

We've been going to this place for a very long time. Our average order is 6 drinks and few food every visit. That being said, I kept receiving emails from them saying that I have a free drink. When I tried to use the free drink coupon they sent, they don't honor it giving me excuses that they don't do Clover. They use Clover POS system and it's them who setup the promos and stuff that Clover system sends and they'll give you an excuse that they don't do it. Tonight will be the last time we're going here... there's too many Boba place in town who'll be glad to have your business and because of them failing to honor their own promotions, we're DONE! read more

One of my very favorite boba places of all time. They have the BEST Taro milk tea that I've had so far. I especially like the taro coconut green milk tea (very hard to find flavor, in my experience). It's always fun to try the different flavors. They have so much to choose from on the menu. We always have a big order (#bigfamprobs), but they've never once messed up. They only offer one size cup, but if you want/need a smaller size, you can order it split into two cups (a perfect mini-size for kiddos). Service is always great, and the atmosphere is very family-friendly. There may be a little bit of a wait sometimes, buts it's worth it. Of course, there are games and stuff to keep you occupied while waiting or while you enjoy your tea time. This location is also seemingly more spacious in comparison to the newer Nubo/MooMoo location off Calvine. read more

Wow!! Not only is this my family's favorite place for boba tea, but I think the amazing and quick response from the management team just earned them some major respect! Our family recently moved to Washington State and coming to MooMoos on our Cali trips is just a given! But the last few times they've been out of boba I get it, it happens, I mean the place is good! But when I sent a message to management about my disappointment, in less then 1 minute they responded with apologies and solutions! 5 stars for having great boba! And 5 stars for being a business who cares about its patrons! read more

Moo Moo is a cute, kitschy place perfect for a cool refreshing drink. My niece and I were both craving something cool and sweet, but also wanted to try something new, so we decided to give Moo Moo a try. She got a green tea shaved ice. I opted for a Strawberry Blizz. My sister wanted ice cream, which they didn't have. :( Both our our desserts were good. The green tea shaved ice had a really strong after taste which I didn't particularly care for, but my niece loved it. My drink was a great combination of fresh fruit (strawberry and mango) and juice blended to make a great icy treat. The quality, pricing and service were all satisfactory, but I was underwhelmed by the lack of items they offered. Compared to Snowbites, Quickly, Vampire Penguin and other asian dessert places, Moo Moo lacked variety and items you can really get excited about. If I was in the area, I would probably swing by, but if I had other options, I would choose them first. read more

I really love Moomoo so much. Best coconut milk tea in town! On another note, I have to commend their customer service as well. Early in January we had purchased 2 coconut milk tea and got home to drink it. It tasted off. I kept trying to take sips and it just tasted bad. My daughter said the same thing. So we called Moomoo and let them know. They said we get 2 free drinks next time due to the bad drinks. Honestly, it scared me to go back and made me sad because no other place really had a good coconut milk tea. However, flash forward months, I decided to give it a try again. They remembered me and I decided to order 1 (of 2 on the house). It tasted good! They said the milk may have spoiled at that time and apologized. Understanding of course! It happens. The next day I went back to order 3 more... And the guy said it was on the house since I had such a bad experience last time. I wasn't expecting that at all. Needless to say, that is really good customer service and how you keep customers happy! I will be returning for more today lol. read more

I love milk tea. My go to believe it or not us Matcha/tarro mixed together with boba. Sooo much greatness... I'll start if by saying the cashier was nice but when ordering I asked for no ice because I never ever get ice. Sooooo with that being said I was very disappointed when getting my drink and it wasn't a full glass. I'm sure they measure but no other milk tea business has ever robbed me of a drink. So I wasn't to satisfied that they couldn't just add some more milk. It's about customer service, if someone says no ice you should still give them a full glass of the drink they paid for.. read more

Moo Moo is a unique boba shop. It neighbors (it's actually connected to) Maru Ramen. So it's an automatic boba stop after your Ramen fix. This place has one of the cutest boba cups. It defaults to the wider chubby ones, which I think are cute. But the one downside is that they don't always fit in cup holders. The shop is cow themed which is great for those that like to take pictures of their drinks. They have the basic flavored milk teas & drinks. But they also offer other clever named specialty drinks. I think prices are fair. I don't think their actual boba is anything special, but it is decent. For the most part, customer service is mostly good. I did have one instance where it seemed like they took forever to make drinks. They have also had multiple instances when they would run out of boba. But that was in the early months of them opening. The drinks here are pretty good. I do believe that their tea is strong. I always have a hard time falling asleep after haha. read more

Today I got a moo moo dirty milk tea with boba and my husband got a taro coconut green tea and mint mojito. To our surprise, the restaurant next door is adjoined to it. Sweet! Too bad we came when it was closing. Anyways, my drink is delicious. The atmosphere is always nice and clean in store makes this place a plus. read more

Moo Moo is a very cute little boba spot. About 10 tables or so, lots of sitting room. The lines are kind of long. (Good sign for the business) drinks are reasonably priced. I got the mojito mint coffee- it was 4.90. Really good not overwhelmingly minty. Which I like. Overall 5/5 will be back again to try the other drinks. read more
