The BoBa milk tea is the best!! Love their location! Getting a little dirty however it is super yummy!!

I would say this is the best boba place I've tried in the Sacramento region. This tea always tastes fresh along with their boba. It isn't overly sweet like other places so you can actually taste the tea flavor. The staff is friendly. The service is fairly quick and I haven't come across any problems from the several visits I have made so far. I would recommend this place to anyone who is looking for quality boba drinks. I haven't tried their shaved snow yet, but it's next on my list of things to try here. read more

I ordered a lavender Milk tea as I normally do. Usually, it's delicious. Tonight, I don't know if it's a newbie that made my drink, because it tastes like hot milk. Totally no lavender taste at all. I was quite upset because i didn't taste it till we were already home. They make the teas boiling hot that you can singe your taste buds if you don't let it cool first, which I typically don't mind. Tea itself was alright, popping boba was really sour. Shaved snow had a weird texture unlike other shaved snow I've had. It's more dense and not as smooth. Mochi was super hard and not good at all. Service was pretty good, our drink and snow came quickly read more

I used to go to this place almost every day. However, ever since they opened the second location, it had not been the same. The other day, I lost my points and they said that they don't use my points. Well, I didn't use my points either so, what happened to my points? Thanks to am employee Sin, I was able to get my points back. Ever since the incident, I asked for the receipt so that I can keo track of my points. The employee was keep repeating how many points that I had. I explained how my points got lost and that I wanted to keep track of it. However, the employee kept on saying how many points that I had and refused to give me my receipt. My friend ordered a drink and she wanted to add the balance to the account, the employee ended up having her use the free drink that we were trying to save. Then, I order the sea salt caramel shaved snow the other day, and it was served without caramel. I didn't even bother to fix my order. The worst thing about it is that there is no manager on site so, if there is any issues, you can only talk to the employees who don't care. The service is not the same, the desserts dint taste the same, the desert is not served the same. I dint trust this place anymore. read more

Moo Moo's honeydew milk tea and strawberry snow bubble are pretty good. They are a limited on flavors and also dont carry food like other milk tea vendors. Hopefully they would be able to expand their menu items. read more

Personally I believe people go here for the good designing of the place and how adorable it is. It isn't bad, but I was expecting more. The Boba was hard and not fresh and the tea was bland. Some of my friends had better results than mine. Therefore moo moo is not consistent with its food. read more

Very trendy, but certainly not the cheapest, nor would I say the best. I would suggest trying Vampire Penguin (also trendy) or Snow Bites off of Elk Grove-Florin and Bond. Snow Bites is my family's favorite. They have couches and games so we can sit an enjoy family time. read more

This place has potential if they can work out the kinks. The decor is fantastic. The staff is sweet and helpful. We came for the shaved snow. We ordered four different flavors, all were lacking...flavor. I hate to mention a competitor, but if you've been to Vampire Penguin then you've had the best shaved snow ever. If Moo Moo can duplicate the flavor, this place will be a hit. Also, they need to come up with some menu combo shaved snow items for people who aren't quite sure what to get or what shaved snow is all about. It feels like they opened before they were quite ready. And they need to get their credit card system working pronto, who carries cash anymore?! I will try this place again in a couple months to see if it's on point. For now, nothing compares to Vampire Penguin. read more

Attention! Purple Kow copycat!!! Purple Kow is the notorious boba spot in San Francisco, so there is some obvious comparison here. Had a chance to stop by and see what the hype is about this place. The lines fill up quick, and they currently accept cash only. The setting reminds me a bit like Pinkberrys as the chairs are quite similar. The milk teas and speciality drinks are quite expensive $4-$5. I ordered the regular milk tea, and to my surprise, it was quite good. Not sure what the real ingredients are, but the drink has a good mixture of milk and tea. Most tea/boba places already come pre-mixed and they just pour it into a cup. I find that rather cheap and lazy. No crafting whatsoever or mixing at all. I would come back, but I wouldn't go out my way just to get it. Nice addition to Elk Grove. It's better than Boba Tea House, that's for sure. read more

I've had many boba places in both Elk Grove and Sacramento, so Moo Moo was an ok place to go. It may not be the first place I would recommend a friend for boba. It's really close to my house which is a plus, but I honestly think their boba wasn't as great as I hoped it would've been. I ordered the matcha green milk tea with black tea and it was around $4.25 without boba or something. I thought it was a bit pricey so I decided to share with my sister. We both agreed that our drink tasted really bland and not sweet at all. Even though we shook our drink prior to putting the straw in, the texture of the drink was powdery. The boba was super soft which was interesting. It might have been that we came in a wrong time since it was extremely busy. My sisters bf ordered a Coconut Milk tea and he said it tasted good and would come back again. I would probably come back, but order a different drink. read more

This is my favorite boba shop in town. I love how cute the icon is. I usually get a moo moo milk tea with a crap load of add ons. And the yogurt bliss is so good during the hot weather. We have been regulars here for the last 6 years! Buuuuuut with that being said, in the last few months we have been very unhappy with the customer service...I have walked in more than a handful of times and stood at that counter without being acknowledged, on days when they aren't busy, not a "hi!" or "I'll be right with you!" We call in orders quite often and the workers have no proper phone etiquette. The customer service, or lack there of with the new employees is very frustrating. Went in the other day and they were out of boba. We were told it would take 40 minutes for the new batch to be ready so come back at 4:00, went back in at 4:30, Ordered our drinks, walked around outside for 15 min waiting for our 3 drinks, only to come back in and be told that they ran out of boba again!!! How frustrating!!!! Our drinks have always been so good but the lack of quality is enough to keep us from going. read more

I love that they open late on Fridays and weekends. It's really convenient to me for a boba run because of that. Their specialty milk tea is easily one of my favorite go to milk teas in EG. It's really refreshing and I love it with either grass jelly, egg pudding, or of course, boba. It comes in that chubby sized cup which I think is super cute and is a pretty good packaging. Their taro milk teas are tasty as well. I give it a 4 star because of the fact that they only fill the cups 3/4 if you request 'no ice' ): other than that, I love this place. read more

Moo Moo's milk tea is solid. I come from the Bay Area, and I've been drinking milk tea ever since I was in a stroller. It's not powdery like Quickly, or fake tasting like Tapioca Express. I thought it tasted a little bit like Verde, if anyone knows what that is. it's on the sweeter side, but it has nice employees and cute decor. You can't really taste the milk and tea separately, so it's not super authentic, but it'll satisfy your cravings. Also, the cow design is the cutest thing. read more

Me and my family love moo moo!! It's the best boba in town!! It's made fresh and it's not the normal powder drinks that you get at most of the other boba places. My norm is the mango snow with fresh fruit and boba ... My hubby loves the taro lover. I would of gave 5 stars except they totally messed up my order once, like they didn't understand and gave me a mixture of mango and strawberry flavored snow instead of mango with fresh mangos and strawberries. How they messed this up I'm not sure and unfortunately I didn't realize they messed up on all 3 of my drinks (I ordered 3 of them) until I got home it did not taste good at all ... so don't ever order that!! I've only been to this place two times but each visit has been a delightful experience. The ambiance is quiet and chill while the drinks are extremely tasty and come in the cutest darn cups you've ever received boba in. The difference is definitely quality. I've been to quite a number of boba places and this one is definitely up there with some of the best. Also pretty neat that you get to choose your tea base! This place doesn't really have the glitz and glam as the other places, especially the shaved ice. But the portions are extremely amazing, they don't really care how decorative it is, and I don't really mind, as long as I am getting the quality and portions worth paying for. We were very dissatisfied with our order. We ordered a munchkin sized taro shaved ice with condensed milk, egg pudding, and mochi to go. What we got was barely any condensed milk with taro shaved ice and mochi. No egg pudding anywhere to be found. Here comes the climax...our order was 1/3 full!! I love love their yogurt bliss! (I think that's what it is called lol) it's not too sweet n tart like tapioca express. I believe there was only one size which was pretty big enough for 2 people! Their drinks are not consistent. My first two drinks here were good. The most recent order -- last Sunday-- was not good. I ordered jasmine green milk tea with Boba, and the Boba was hard as if they were not cooked well or they were old. The drink had a very odd taste for a jasmine green milk tea.
