Had a lovely weekend brunch date here! The dining area is modern and refreshingly green. Almost feels like a different world from the surrounding area, in a good way! Our service was prompt and friendly. Both our drinks were very good; I had the red velvet, which offers a fresh raspberry flavor and goes down as easily as fruit juice! They even include a prosecco shot on the side. Drink it on its own or mix it in for a nice sparkling touch :) My steak and eggs were also well-prepared and hit the spot. Will definitely swing by again if I'm looking for brunch in the area!

Love the atmosphere here and it's always packed! The food is a hit or miss though. I would recommend getting a couple plates and sharing all of them. Mango dragonade- it was yummy!! Mango, dragonfruit and a splash of orange juice Orange juice - freshly squeezed, classic Baba ganoush- it was sooooo good: kind of on the sweeter side. Wish they gave more bread with this though. Syrini with mango custard- I was trying to decide between this or the crepes with ricotta and passion fruit custard. It was really good for the first couple bites and I got tired of it and wanted to eat something else. Def better to share this. Tuna salad sandwich - so good! It wasn't too cold and I say that because typically I don't like salad sandwiches because they're cold. My friends really enjoyed the Humshaka here so I'll try that next time.

My friend recommended we check it out as it was on our way to The Grove. The aesthetics were cool. After a 30min wait the staff was able to get us in with no reservation. We didn't expect this as there was a line going out the door and it was a hour and a half before closing time. Hats off to the staff as they were clearly juggling a lot yet remained friendly and attentive throughout the whole experience. Dishes were decently priced but taste wise they didn't really stand out. Cappuccino on the other hand was great.

I came across Mood on Third after seeing a ton of great reviews, and I totally get why people talk about it. The vibe is real. It feels lively, multicultural, and honestly kind of fun just sitting there and hearing different languages all around you. It makes the whole experience feel a little more elevated and interesting, like you're part of something happening. We didn't have reservations and still got seated right away, which was a huge plus, but MAKE RESERVATIONS because that's literally the first thing they ask and it just makes everything smoother. Service is where this place really shines. I'm not exaggerating when I say it felt like there were multiple people taking care of our table at all times. The staff is incredibly attentive, constantly checking in, asking what you need next, making sure everything is moving. The food came out fast too, which I appreciated. You can tell they're really on top of their operation, and the energy from the team is genuinely warm and welcoming. Now, the reason I can't give it a full five stars is the seating situation. It's tight. Like, really tight. You are basically side by side with strangers, close enough to hear their entire conversation while they hear yours. You can actually feel how slightly uncomfortable people are when they first sit down, including us. I get that they're trying to maximize space, but it definitely takes away from the overall comfort. As for the food, it was good, just not something I'd personally come back for. It didn't wow me flavor-wise, even though everything looked great and came out quickly. Also, I always find it a little funny when they immediately ask "sparkling or tap," because you already know they're trying to nudge that bill up. Not a dealbreaker, just something I notice every time. Overall, I'd give it about a 4.5. It's absolutely worth coming at least once for the vibe and the service alone, but I do think the food could use a little more flavor to match everything else they're doing right.

The place was great. It looks modern and fresh, I really like the stylish design. We came around 11 am on Sunday and it was pretty busy, so I'd recommend booking a table in advance. We didn't wait long though, just like 5 minutes. Service was quick, everyone was super nice, and everything looked clean. Food was really good. I got the ricotta crepes with passion fruit curd. It was a perfect mix of sweetness. Crepes were fresh and my cappuccino was also really good. We tried baba ganoush too, it was interesting and nice to try. My boyfriend got the hash brown plate and added 2 eggs and bacon. He really liked everything. We would definitely come back again, just next time with a reservation.

My friend and I went for brunch on Monday morning. There was plenty of street parking (pay by text) on 3rd street. It was a great space, open, cute/trendy, and plenty of seats. The host asked if we had a reservation but luckily it wasn't super busy and they were able to seat us. Server was nice and friendly. We wanted to share the pancakes or waffles but the server recommended the passionfruit crepes, which were delicious. The ricotta was very light and sweet and the heavy passionfruit sauce complemented it perfectly. We ordered the following: - Mooood latte- there was a dragon berry cold foam on this iced latte. It was very good. - Mimosas - Eggs Benedict- the eggs on this benedict was cooked perfectly. I really enjoyed this dish and it was also a very big portion. They gave me the option of putting a protein on it but I just had it as it was. - Tartufo Scramble Sandwich- open sandwich with mushrooms and eggs with a perfect balance of truffle. I enjoyed this dish too. With 2 mimosas, crepes and everything above, came out to about $100. I would definitely return as I would like to try the other items. Both my friend and I enjoyed our brunch at mood.

Sometimes, you walk into a place and roll your eyes and say: "That's so LA" Sometimes you walk into a place with a smile as you look at the food and go:"That's so LA!" It really shouldn't take you long to figure out which I did when I ate here. This is exactly the kind of food you SHOULD find in Beverly Hills, and all credit due there is quite a lot of joy to be had when you eat here for breakfast. Our server was patient while we very eagerly parked to sample their offerings, and I really have to talk about the way it felt like the way our food plated, it was if we plucked it straight from a gourmet cooking show. And the way everything tasted fresh was enough to make my taste buds beg for more, I'm very sure you'll be in a good mood after stopping by. While the prices initially made me raise my eyebrows, with the quality I'm getting, I completely understand the LA experience now. Cheers!

I was greeted by two very nice girls when I arrived. Just know that you need a reservation on Sundays--the place is packed and definitely more of a scene than I expected, which honestly makes me hesitant to come back. Parking is another challenge. There's no valet and it's very difficult to find parking, so plan extra time if you decide to go. One thing they mention quickly that you should really pay attention to: they limit your table to an hour and a half. I personally think that's a pretty frustrating policy. Going out to eat is expensive these days, so it's worth choosing places where you can relax and enjoy your time. That said, the food was spot on--fresh and very good. It's a family-owned restaurant run by a Ukrainian family, which is something I do appreciate and think is worth supporting. So now you know reader: great food and fresh ingredients, but tough parking and a strict 1 1/2-hour time limit. Up to you whether it's worth it.

MOOD was definitely a VIBE! I came here for brunch with some girlfriends while traveling out of town. We came on a Monday without reservations and were seated within 10 minutes. We ordered the Shakshuka ($19), Steak & Eggs ($28), and the Overnight Oats ($16). I always have to order an alcoholic beverage while I'm out at brunch, so I also ordered the Hugo Lavender ($14) - Prosecco, Elderflower, Lavender, Lime. Everything was beautifully presented and colorful. I had to snap some pictures/videos before everyone dug in. The table fell quiet quickly after we tasted the food because everything was delicious. I would definitely love to come back during better weather since we happened to be visiting during a rainstorm.

We came on a Saturday afternoon and do be warned as they seat you if you made a reservation and they work like clockwork. Luckily there was an opening and they had us seated fairly quickly. Interior was very well decorated, including the bathroom, and had even two floors with shade on the top floor ! We ordered the Red Velvet, Mood Latte, Eggs Benedict with smoked salmon, and the steak and eggs. The red velvet was really delicious and tasted like a lemonade ! They set the alcohol aside if you wanted as a shot or with the juice. The mood latte was your typical latte but the cream was a great addition; I would've just liked more espresso in it. The eggs Benedict was a pleasantly huge portion and I definitely recommend adding a protein for additional flavor! Would love to try again when I visit LA!

The avocado toast with the beet hummus is such an amazing pairing with the pistachios always so fresh and delicious. The Greek salad with chimchurri sauce also so good and the side of plain hummus. This place was great! We made a reservation about an hour before and were easily able to make it on Google. They only have outside seating, which we did not know, and it is a heat wave, but oh well. The outside is super cute and instagrammable. The bathrooms were clean and the staff was all so sweet and friendly. We loved both our lattes and our entrees! Yummy! We got the syrniki with mango custard and berries. I've never had syrniki. It is made of cheese, a cottage cheese texture. It was warm and the custard was good. What I would order again is the tartufo scramble sandwich with a side of salmon. It was so savory and rich of flavor. I could eat 3 of them. The matcha latte was also yummy!! 10/10 would recommend. Street parking is sparse. It can get busy, so I'd schedule. I'd only get the tartufo next time. read more

This food was amazing . Very filling. This is what my sister ordered. I ordered the sweet potatoes fries, did not disappoint. The egg sandwich was awesome. I love eggs that are cooked right. This place was so good I came back two weeks in a row! The shakshuka was incredible--perfectly spiced, rich tomato flavor, and the eggs were just right. It was my third time at this place and I tried to like it but the service disappoints every time.The workers lack basic communication skills and act like assholes when you point out the mistake in the order.Im not the person to confront a waiter at the table but the attitude needs to be fixed.Also the girl in yellow glasses made our table feel unwelcome the entire time we were there.The food is pretty decent but the vibes are off. read more

I came here for brunch with a friend and the food was good, but the experience with the host left me uncomfortable. I was the one who put our name down and even confirmed it was under mine when she asked, but each time she returned to check or call our table, she looked and spoke only to my friend and barely acknowledged me. It might not have been intentional, but being ignored repeatedly like that felt dismissive and awkward. In a city as diverse as LA, I hope staff can be more mindful about engaging with everyone at the table equally. read more

Decent brunch spot! Showed up without a reservation (pro-tip: make a reservation), but was able to be seated fairly quickly at around 9:30am on a Saturday. Had the Shakshouka, the mini pancakes, and my friend had the overnight oats. Everything was good, the Shakshouka was especially flavorful; I just wish there was extra bread but maybe I could have asked. Overall, a pleasant place to meet a friend for brunch. read more

If it wasn't for the pancakes I would have given this place 3 stars. I was not a fan of the scrambled eggs, they looked like mac and cheese, and very watery. They were kind enough to substitute the bacon for grilled chicken, free of charge, so I appreciated the service. The food took over 40 minutes to arrive, but the staff was very apologetic and made the experience enjoyable. Back to the pancakes. Delicious and just the right kind of softness that I love, so I would definitely come back to this place just for the pancakes. One of my first brunch places I've tried in LA and they definitely didn't disappoint! Food was so delicious, the hummus must try I should've gotten more! I got the steak and eggs to share with my partner and it was perfectly cooked! (Side note: the yolks were beautifully orange and that's a sign of a healthy chicken) Our server was so kind and always checked up on us! We stop-by here randomly for a quick breakfast before a Ferrari show at the museum nearby, after looking through on yelp. The building and surrounding grounds looks nice and there's a nice outside patio. There's a parking lot but not sure why it's locked but fortunately on early sun there's plenty of street parking available. We first checked in and were asked if we have a reservation, which I find odd initially because the place was 2/3 empty. She then proceeded to say it could get busy, which i totally get but they just opened. So not the most friendly and inviting welcome right off the bat. The patio dining area is quite nice with surrounding landscape, partial shade and good ambiance. The tables are set a bit close to one another IMO. There's a decent variety of food as well. I was recently diagnosed with IBD so I asked the waiter to avoid dairy on the eggs benedict which I plan to order. He said we can remove the cream cheese and there would be no diary. My wife looked closer at the menu and asked if they the brioche bun in house without diary, but he replied no we buy them elsewhere. So we said ok most brioche buns have milk in them and he agreed. The guy sounded pretty indifferent. He then suggested that we can sub it with hash browns and I said yes that would be good I am fine with that. And we ordered coffees with oat milk instead of half and half as well. The food was pretty good and all was well. Good presentation also. However, we werent really satisfied with the service. They werent overly busy and we werent offered additional coffee at all until we asked for it before paying the bill. No one offered water to our dog as well. When the bill came, the hash brown sub was $3 extra, and the oat milk was $2 extra. I am fine with it but a little heads up upon ordering would have been nice as a common courtesy. I am a bit regretful for tipping 18% after leaving for having had such a service. One thing which is a bit odd is that the customers all around us speak foreign languages between one another and even to the waiters and waitresses as well...perhaps a coincidence read more

First time patron. Super friendly service, and after ordering, the drinks appeared instantaneously. Loved my strawberry matcha and my daughter's chai latte was good too. Three out of our four entrees arrived shortly thereafter--great presentation on each. The simple breakfast was hearty and the pancakes were very distinct being crispy on all the edges. My wife's bowl look better perhaps than on tasted but still was good. My Cesar Salad with chicken was superb, specifically the chicken. The issues was my son's steak sandwich. It never came. My wife and I finished our meals and then opted to cancel the sandwich instead. At that point there was no point really. We paid, and I ordered him some takeout from another spot near by. The eggs are well scrambled and the whipped cream cheese is nice. The truffles are nice as well. My boyfriend got the steaks and eggs with a $2 side of a kimchi sauce. I come here at least three times a week, and I absolutely love their food! I've been meaning to go to this cafe for a long time, I really liked not only the food but also the service of the staff. The waiters helped me with the menu and were guided by what could be added to this or that dish, for example, I was offered shrimp in my tomato soup. I really liked the cheesecakes in mango puree, the signature tea for my child was recommended lemonade from mango and Dragon Fruit which turned out to be very tasty. Several tables, a small bar with a few seats, and a large round bench offer a decent amount of seating. I got free parking on the road after 7, but otherwise the neighborhood proves a struggle. The strawberry matcha duo- impeccable top to bottom. They use a very thick matcha cream on top, the matcha drink is rich and not watery; the almond milk didn't overpower; the strawberry puree was delicious with small chunks & tasted fresh, not artificial. I currently live in Japan- Rok knows how to do this right. (Don't tell anyone I think Roc does them better) Will absolutely come back many times.

Last night my friend and I visited MOOD for dinner, and honestly, this was one of the best dining experiences I've had in Los Angeles. We ordered the duck, miso salmon, tres ceviche, and blue cheese stuffed olives - and every dish was genuinely impressive. The food tasted incredibly fresh, flavorful, and well thought out.
