I went to Moon Donuts last night and even though it was 9 'o clock at night the donuts were soft and fresh. I picked out a dozen and a half and these were delicious. The assortment was overwhelming and it was difficult to choose, but they had my favorites. Fresh donuts abd hot coffee t might are a good thing. This place is in a mini strips mall with minimal parking. The lady was very friendly and helped me figure out a future visit for their special "Birthday Donuts". Came here on Father's Day. Ordered half dozen and 2 iced coffee and it was 30$ that alone is ridiculous. Then before I had the chance to give any kind of directions on my order she goes into the back and gives us two iced coffe with milk and a crap ton of sweetener in it. We both don't drink milk or use any sweetener. I ask if they can make it again with just iced coffee. She says no, that I have to tell her before hand and to drink some so that she can pour more coffee. I declined as again I don't drink milk or sweetener so drinking a little bit to make room wouldn't be an option. I took the drinks and left. My dad was extremly disappointed. The coffees turned out to be over priced and not consumable. As for the donuts they look mediocre. But not excited to try them after that interaction. How much could it have cost to pour 2 new iced coffees? Or even to stop to ask us if we want milk or sugar included. Oh well won't be back. read more

DONT COME HERE! Or at least dont come here after hours. The lady who works overnight around 3-4 am had a really bad attitude. I dont know if she owns the place but she needs to be trained on customer service . Service really was horrible and I tried asking questions about ham and cheese pricing and she kept giving me answers with a very bad attitude. Very rude lady with wierd looking ears. I kept my cool and just asked if maybe she was having a bad day because she was coming off mean nd while leaving I left a 2 dollars in change as tip in the jar to help make her feel better but she kept screaming "Take it I don't want it" anyways I left it but I WILL NEVER GO BACK! Some of the best donuts in the area! Parking is great and the workers are very friendly and fast with service. This location is always busy in the morning. My personal favorite is the Denver Omelette Croissant which comes with a choice of micro greens and jalapeños (BOMB)! My friends have been telling me about Moon Donuts but since I usually buy donuts for work I have never been this way because it's the opposite direction from work. This week I'm on staycation so why not enjoy it with yummy fried foods high in calories? Moon donuts is really close to my house in a small plaza. There's plenty of parking and since most of the stores aren't dine in, people come and go. We were lucky when we arrived there were only two customers in front of us because soon it was totally packed to overflowing. The donuts there are so pretty. My LO wanted the pick donut with gummy bears on top. My friend recommended the Apple fritter which is my favorite donut. I also ordered the croissant #1 which has bacon, cheese and eggs. I also ordered the hot tarp milk latte. Service is quick. We didn't wait too long for our sandwich and latte. The Apple fritter is solid and a good size to feed five people or for one person to eat for two days. I really enjoyed the croissant sandwich. How do they get the egg so fluffy? Cute, old-school donut shop located in a strip mall, same plaza as Chicken Maison and Taishi Hainan Chicken. They have your usual glazed donuts, powder donuts, sugar twists, etc but what makes them stand apart from other shops is that they also have very cute donuts with creative designs on display like a unicorn donut, princess donut, cookie monster donut, etc. My daughter got a mini chocolate donut with pastel rainbow sprinkles and a strawberry Pocky donut. The good: I'm over the moon for Moon Donuts! I ordered customized letter donuts that read "Here Comes the Son" for my baby shower. It was easy to order through Instagram and was around $53. They were very flexible and asked for my design ideas and inspo. The donuts were tasty and not overly sweet. They were light and not heavy in oil nor did they have too much frosting. I look forward to ordering from them again. The bad: They weren't always the most responsive thru IG. I wish they had an online ordering form. I was hoping they'd incorporate "Sun" shapes or theme a little more than just the color scheme but I think next time I'll just be more specific. I saw the Thai tea donut and asked where they are from. They do try to update their menu to include new things like cronuts, UBE and such. They did not have a lot of fancy cronuts left but I liked the Nutella cronut. I am a Danish fan so I probably preferred a regular Danish as it is lighter but I would love to try their fancy cronuts next time I'd they have any left! Blueberry cheesecake one or the strawberry with whipped cream looked pretty but a gentleman waiting behind me really wanted them and I kind of felt bad and let him order those. Apple fritter is in a generous portion and the hint of cinnamon is nice but I would prefer other kinds here. They have many different kinds so pick your favorite! Overal quality was good but the pricing on Yelp seems much lower than what the menu is. If you preorder, you could get letter donuts like HAPPY BIRTHDAY ie shape of an H. I bought donuts on New Years Eve for my family and my sister's family who were visiting from a different state and the donuts tasted old and hard. I called the store and spoke to TY who was very nice and apologized and said we are closed on New Year's Day and to bring them on Friday so he could give me fresh ones. I went in today and there is a lady by the name Lisa working and she went against what TY had told me and was extremely extremely rude and was yelling at TY and said that he is new and doesn't know anything. I am very disappointed because I have been going to this donut shop for years and she said told me "I don't care if you don't come back here." 37-year resident here. I've been going to Moon Donuts for over three decades and have always found them to be close to outstanding in nearly every way. It's been my go-to place--especially when I want to pick up a box or two to take to the police or fire department as a gesture of appreciation for their service. Unfortunately, today's experience was very different. The frosting on all the cake donuts looked carelessly applied--none of that glossy, precise finish we've come to expect over the years. I ordered a jelly donut and a cake donut. The cake donut had frosting haphazardly splattered on it. The jelly donut's glaze looked uneven, with patchy sugar blotches. But the real shock came when I took a bite of the jelly donut: inside was a black spider, swimming in the red jelly. I immediately returned it to the cashier, who politely asked if I'd like a replacement. Of course, I did--but I left feeling unsettled. Sadly, it seems the quality at Moon Donuts has changed.
