This is a great space with a very cool style and layout. Read a book in a swinging chair or relax on a comfy chair. The only issue is their music selection (Welcome to the Jungle by GnR and other metal bands) is interesting and very loud. People were trying to talk over the loud music which made it nearly impossible for me to enjoy the place. I love metal music, but not when I want to chill with a coffee. Such a lively vibe and their coffee is authentic, unpretentious along with people who work there. Not exactly a place young families hang out as it's mostly young hipster like patrons but I love bringing my young kids (2 and 4) here because there's always room in their outdoor patio and the patrons never makes me feel out of place. I wanted to like this place... but it was a big let down. I had their white bean soup which was pretty good and their matcha latte with oat milk and honey. The matcha latte... something was wrong. It tasted like the latte was made with water. I tasted the matcha, but did not taste any traces of oat milk or honey. It was a big disappointment. I liked this place a lot but then I came in for breakfast a few days after the mask mandate was lifted and find an employee continually wiping her nose with the hand she's making coffee with. An easy 5 star review. The deluxe avocado toast was amazing as well as the French toast with both homemade bread. The matcha is apparently sourced from Japan so it's authentic and I ordered the hulk with some sweetener--to die for! My brother enjoyed his coffee too and he's very picky. I was recommended by a friend that comes often to work. Seems like a very vibey atmosphere and I'd be interested to see what it's like in a weekday as well. The staff was also very friendly. Came by with my cousin for a quick morning coffee a few weekends ago. The space is really cool and spacious. The hours are good for mornings or late nights which is a nice option sometimes. Our drinks were made well and they had some interesting options. I will have to try Hulk juice next time (has juice from the coffee pods) While we were waiting for our drinks and looking at the beans one of the baristas, David, started to talk about the available beans and I was impressed with his knowledge of their stock and flavor profiles. This place was alright. To start, the parking was crazy. I had a hard time finding. Shoot for a minute. Then I found one and went inside and they were packed. We didn't know where to order. Eventually an employee knew the friend I was with and told us he could take our order also. Then the people behind us asked if they could order too and he told them, of course they could and that he was confused why everyone was standing in the other line and not coming up to him... he did not look like he was open before we ordered with him. He was cleaning and doing other stuff and only called us over because like I said, he knows my friend. The coffee and food were pretty good though. Might be my new favorite OC coffee shop! Great ambiance, good amount of seating, friendly staff, and great coffee. Got some work done here on a Saturday and it was a bit crowded when I got in but some spots cleared up at the bar around the roasting equipment. WiFi was free, just have to get the password from the staff. My one negative about this place would be that there are very few outlets so come with a full battery if you plan on staying a while. I ordered a latte which was silky and delicious. This spot really is in the running for my favorite coffee shop in the area, I just gotta come back and try more drinks! read more

They make their own oat milk, caramel and other items and each one is phenomenal. The MoonGoat food menu is much larger than most coffee shops, making it possible to hangout a little bit longer than I usually would. There are many many seating areas here, both outdoor and indoor. It's always pretty full from what I can tell. Sometimes there are quiet dogs around. The noise level inside is moderate speaking around the room and normal volumed music. The space has great natural lighting and feels comfortable/happy. Finding MoonGoat when you drive up is super easy, they have huge signs. Parking is a little tough but not too bad. Great coffee, I love the coldbrew. The shop has an open coworking space vibe to it which is a good place to meet, work or study (with headphones). And the menu has all the modern options - avo toast, baked goods, vegan options, assortment of nice herbal tea blends. I've had their chia and fruit overnight oats and also brie toast - both were very good. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because my personal preferences, no shade on the business or the quality - the issues are all because of it's popular!. Parking can be tough. Service is just ok - not great. And it's relatively pricey. The space has value, but I am in continued disbelief that coffee should ever cost more than $4 since I'm old enough to remember $0.30 coffee with free refills. read more
