Wilson Coffee is located behind Eller Bakery with marked parking stalls. It's cozy spot that has your essential coffee and espresso drinks and coffee beans! The beans and roaster are stored behind the counter. I told the barista my preferred notes and how I brew my coffee. I trusted his recommendation and purchased the beans from Guatemala. I believe it was $21 for one pound. Other places sell 10/12oz beans for the same price! After brewing the beans a couple times with my aeropress, I definitely enjoy the balanced notes. I will definitely come back to try more beans!

Take it from a self-professed coffee snob...Wilson Coffee Roasting is the BEST! I love dark, flavorful coffees and I dislike the lighter, fruitier blends I find far too frequently. Tried Wilson's Timor Coffee and was blown away. I thought that I had found my forever brew in Joshua Tree Roasters' "The First Roast" beans... ...then that was supplanted by Twiga Coffee's Guatemala beans... ...now my beloved Twiga has been supplanted by Wilson's Timor beans! Wilson, long live your reign!

Small hidden gem behind Eller bakery (thumbs down) but this place is a bean roaster and I was excited to try them for my new Breville. The guy was super helpful and directed me to an espresso blend. Excited to have a fresh roaster right near me.

    Wilson Coffee experience...

Some coffee shops just slide into your life without trying too hard, and Wilson Coffee is that place for me. It's a genuine alternative to the big chains. Easy, friendly, familiar in the best way. I don't come in often enough, but every time I do it feels like I belong here. Jim, the proprietor, is a big reason why, welcoming from my first visit. Matt, pictured here, I see more often on my Saturday runs. He's present minded and clearly cares about his customers and his craft. That energy carries through the whole space. Great coffee is one thing, but great music seals the deal. Today Matt's playlist was from 1946, and it somehow fit perfectly. Relaxed, cool, curious. Also the latte he brewed was on point - rich, smooth, and the just-right temp. And he refilled my own three jars with whole beans, to help with my goal of sustainability. I originally found Wilson Coffee through my connection to Chris and Jessica, the former owners of Amis de la Terre, a zero waste shop that I (and their many followers) still miss. There's a shared spirit here. Community minded and intentional. I'm really glad this place exists. Pro tip: pull around to the parking lot behind Eller Bakery for the Wilson Coffee VIP parking spot shown in my photo.rdu

Great little spot! I had heard wonderful things about this place and their large selection of quality beans so I had to check it out! Hidden in the parking lot behind Eller Bakery, this place is such a find. I wanted to try their coffee before committing to purchasing beans, but I got the vanilla maple latte and it was DELICIOUS! Many people don't understand, but the way coffee is crafted is an art and can make or break your drink entirely. This place was spot on and they know exactly what they're doing. On top of that, you can literally taste the quality in your drink. I can't wait to come back!

Quaint little coffee company that's been around for 21 years! I don't know how we never stumbled upon this place. Owner is easy going and served us up some lattes. Nothing frilly but just good ol' lattes. Yum! Coffee is roasted in house and you can expect that it tastes as good as it smells. Definitely check out this local spot! *It's a hidden gem located in the plaza behind Eller bakery.

the owner was rude to me and my friend when we asked questions on the menu. i asked if there was sugar free syrups. he condescending says there are no syrups at all. my friend then asked how he got the vanilla flavor in her latte, he responded that he used maple syrup and vanilla extract. upon tasting her drink my friend said the espresso tasted burnt. she said she didn't taste vanilla but did taste maple. my cold brew did not have a pleasant flavor. it was one of the worst ones i've had. I carry flavor drops with me for instances like this where the coffee is almost unredeemable. this was one of those times. i actually felt the flavor drops helped. the interior was small. not a good place to stay and sit or get work done. there were minimal decorations but they all were coffee related. i only saw men in there. i think the owner may have been the only one working. overall i didn't have a very good experience. i do appreciate how many distinct blends of coffee they offer. I would love to try more if I was to be invited back.

A super neat find I don't want anyone to know about-- even though I wasn't the one who found it. I don't want to share. Great freshly roasted coffee beans for all those who're caffeine-with-taste addicts. This workshop is so fun and rustic while also completely functional by all accounts-- I want to setup a work area here and slowly take over at least half the shop. Whoever it is that works there are always super nice and Knowledgeable with what we all crave. Taste and jitters.

When you enter, the location is huge! Tons of tables and seating. Nice! People are working, hanging out, and enjoying their food and drinks. I ordered a churro latte half sweet and a deluxe avocado toast. The latte was delicious. Sweetness level was just right for me. I don't like super sweet drinks. The avocado toast was also great. There was so much flavor from the egg and bacon and seasonings. It was a little hard to eat out of the to go container, but I made it work. It could easily be shared depending how hungry you are. I love that I didn't feel rushed here. It seems they expect people to come and hang out for awhile. Can't wait to return! I'm eyeing the biscuit and a matcha next time.

Inside is a café inspired by natural accents with an industrial flair giving a rustic character with modern style. The vibe inside is chill with plenty of seating for groups or singles. They also have an outdoor area with covered seating surrounded by plants. The menu delivers just as much appeal as the setting. They have an expansive list of coffee, tea, and lattes with several modifiers to choose from. To accompany your drink the menu provides options of sandwiches, bagels, and a variety of pastries. I had the smoked salmon bagel, featuring delicate slices of salmon layered over cream cheese spread, topped with capers and fresh chives. This is my go to for coffee houses that offer it. The bagel exceeded my expectations and I believe the chive's subtle flavor complemented the smoked salmon really well. For drinks we tried the chai and hot chocolate. The iced chai latte was smooth and not too sweet with a dusting of cinnamon on top, but I would rate it average in taste. The hot chocolate was deliciously velvety and detailed beautifully. I would rate it a five out of five! The difference at this coffee shop is that you can choose from a range of seating arrangements and have an opportunity to support the business by picking up clothing, a bag of coffee or other merchandise. The con for this coffee shop is that the beverages are somewhat undersized relative to the price point. In addition, the customer service experience fell short. We were greeted upon entering, but it was unclear where customers should retrieve their order or whether orders numbers were called out. With that said, those looking for a quiet morning coffee or a cozy place to catch up with friends, this spot can accommodate.

Unfortunately, this visit was one disappointment after another. We arrived at 8:30 a.m. hoping for a peaceful coffee-and-breakfast morning. Instead, we accidentally wandered into what felt like a Janis Joplin tribute concert. The music was blasting at nightclub volume--not exactly the relaxing start to the day we had in mind. But surprisingly... that wasn't even the worst part. The food was incredibly disappointing. I ordered the breakfast burrito, and the potatoes were still raw--hard enough to remind me they were once part of the ground.. My husband ordered the French toast, which looked suspiciously like it took a quick detour from Trader Joe's frozen aisle before landing on our table. There's nothing wrong with frozen French toast... unless you're charging $14 and calling it brunch. Another friend ordered the granola with berries. After a few bites, he gave it a skeptical look, pushed the bowl away, and decided breakfast simply wasn't worth the gamble. The coffee was decent , but honestly wasn't worth fighting the neighbors for a parking spot!
