So I am Giving this place a 5 star mainly because they have the BEST waffles I have ever had. Light and fluffy and made to perfection. It's has an older traditional design inside and they have extended patio outside. If you don't want to wait, make sure you go on a weekday as weekends get packed very quickly. Their prices are great and you get big portions of the best breakfast you can have. I highly recommend trying this place out if you are in the Encino area! read more

Little gem inside of a mall. Came early around 8-8:30 on a Sunday for breakfast. No wait for us but after us there was a wait. Got the Belgian waffle meal with two eggs and sausage. $18 The waffle was delicious and the sausage is Pattie's fyi. Which I don't mind, I enjoyed my meal and the coffee was also really good. Would I come back sure I would because the waffle was good. No complaints here. Would I be a regular if I lived nearby. Maybe? The price is a little steep IMO. But I did enjoy my meal, My niece ordered a chorizo and egg plate which was good too. Potatoes could be crunchier and the wheat toast was whole grain which I liked. Overall I enjoyed it. They have outdoor seating and they allow dogs as well. It was nice seeing all the well behaved pups. Service was good too! Everyone we encountered was nice and friendly. read more

This place deserves an extra star for their service and quality food. I mean it. I ordered the Big G with a half waffle instead of toast. Every bite was better than the last. I wasn't that hungry when I got her but believe I cleaned my plate. I also finished my wife's sausage patty. You get 2 oversized patties with your eggs. A heap full of potatoes and the half waffle definitely compliments the meal in the end. The ambience was casual with sounds of the water fall near by keeping the atmosphere feeling tranquil. Great place. Looking forward to coming back and trying to dine inside. The weather was great so we chose to eat outside. Keep up the great work folks. read more

The food was presented nicely, and every request our party of four had was met immediately! I ordered the protein waffle, which was amazing! I also ordered the bagels, lox, onions, and capers. This came with some fresh veggies & fruit. Everything was very tasty! 10/10 The iced coffee was great, and the bacon was thick but perfectly cooked. I was visiting a friend who lives in the area who suggested we come for the waffles. Since it was a weekday and we arrived before noon, there was no wait but it was still busy. We both ordered an omelet with waffle (Mediterranean for her, Popeye for me). The food came out quickly and was fresh, well seasoned and generous portions. I enjoyed their house salsa on my omelet...it's got a great kick to it! And the strawberry preserves were delicious! I ate the preserves with my waffle...some whipped cream would have made it amazing but I'm trying to watch my fat intake. I live in OC so I probably won't be back too often but I would definitely recommend the waffles here! And our omelets were very good too! The food is amazing!!! The service is so fast and doesn't make mistakes. It's so pretty inside, and you get such a wonderful view outside too! I'm definitely coming here again. You'll have an empty stomach when ur walking in, but when walk out, you'll be stuffed with such yummy food. I don't know the history and how long this restaurant has been around (we were passing through ) but OMGEE amazing food , great portions, everything was finger licking good but aside from that our server was super friendly super attentive and just all around great!! Shout out to Katarina We had a 1/2 order of the Lemon Lover Waffle, Greek Salad and The Meaty Scramble. Freshly made salsa was very flavorful and had good heat to it, homemade strawberry jam was amazing as well. read more

I haven't been here in a while, while. Today by accident I ended up here with my kids. The food is as delicious as I remember it specially the waffles. We all shared a breakfast burrito , turkey and bacon club sandwich and waffles with fresh strawberries. The portions are big so it's easily shareable. The place was packed as usual and it was almost closing time. Staff was amazing with taking care of the guests, refilling our drink as soon as our cups got empty. Very attentive and friendly waiters. The prices are on the higher side, I never paid $19.95 for a breakfast burrito. ‍ but at least it was big and we were able to share it. Same goes for the turkey club. Mostly lettuce and tomatoes with a slice of Turkey and bacon for $19.95 .... And the waffles 2 pieces $17.95 ... The price of food is going up daily and eating out is becoming a luxury. Over all my experience at the restaurant was good. It's really nice service was great but the food it wasn't of my liking I expected it to have more flavor. The crepe had no flavor and it was just too much crepe it's like I ordered a pancake breakfast sandwich so I would not recommend the crepe and we also ordered hash and eggs. We came over the holidays and appreciated the cute decorations. When my friend said you come here for the chilaquiles, he was not lying. I haven't had chilaquiles this good in a long time and regretted not ordering them for myself! Planning to return soon just for an order of those. I had the Mediterranean omelette as a scramble and added bacon and got it with goat cheese instead of cheddar cheese. A friend and I split that and the waffle that it came with on the side. We were seated within 5 minutes of checking in on a weekday around noon. You can choose to either sit inside the cute, quaint restaurant or choose outside with the fresh air and water fountain. We visited More Than Waffles during the AM on Memorial Day weekend. They were busy, with a wait of 46 minutes, but the service and food were outstanding. Our son ordered the Turtle Waffle. My wife and I each tried it and it was a chocolate & whip cream nirvana, bathed in caramel. She had an Eggs Benedict English Muffin & I had "Elevies", which are mushroom, onion & green olive crepes, served with melted mozzarella. Each entree was simply superb! The consistency of the hollandaise was perfect. Very well executed dish. The French toast was also delightful. Often times French toast comes out mushy and difficult to cut without completely squashing it, but this French toast had a lot of body to it. It was not overly saturated and held up quite well under the banana, peanut butter and Nutella. Quite enjoyable. Flavor was phenomenal and the sweetness wasn't overpowering. The Oreo waffle was a dessert haha. Definitely not something you should regularly have for breakfast due to the large scoop of ice-cream that it comes with and the generous portion of crushed Oreos. I can only think that people that rate this restaurant 4-5 stars -are not used to food that tastes good and care nothing for a relaxing and enjoyable eating environment . It was loud and the furthest thing from a relaxing eating environment. We came for an early Mother's Day brunch and lt couldn't have been much more of a disappointment My veggie omelette was extremely bland . While my server was very nice , I was 2/3 done with my omelette by the time my potatoes were delivered to me 12- 15 minutes later . I was invited to brunch by a friend who lives in the area. More Than Waffles turned out to be a new favorite for breakfast. Well since its a waffle based restaurant...obviously they focused on making a delicious waffle that could stand up under the many toppings they offer. Some examples are: Caramel Coconut Pecan, The Turtle Waffle, Ghiradelli Chocolate and strawberry waffle...many others. Crispy perfect waffles and many optional toppings sets this place apart.
