I made a service appointment for a recall for my Jeep Compass. The appointment I made was approximately 2 weeks prior. I live in Beaumont, CA which is about a 20-25 minute drive. When I arrived for my 8am appointment they told me the parts for my recall were not in. Why didn't they call me before the appointment to let me know that before I made the drive and waste my gas! They certainly had plenty of time to figure that out! So, now they're going to call me when the parts get in....Duhh!!! They should have done that the first time!!! I'm giving them 1 star for now, and we'll see what kind of service I receive when I go back. ZERO STARS The worst Dodge dealer on the planet. They try to get over on you for anything. They will misdiagnose your car or truck to get the most money out of you as possible. I went in for a check engine light on a brake sensor which I already had diagnosed. They said I needed a thermostat which I didn't need because my truck was never getting hot. Then tried to charge me $700+ for parts and labor for $20 part that isn't that hard to put on. Where other shops only charging around $150. I done the repair myself with the help of Auto Zone. Sensor was $19 and took only 10 minutes to repair and everything works great. Do not go to this dealer period. read more

I asked several times for the sales manager to give me back my registration. I finally had to get angry and yelled out loud for them to give me my registration. I had warned him that I was going to do so after asking 4 times for it politely. He was trying to make me purchase a vehicle without a trade and would not return my registration. I have had my car serviced here a couple of times and every time I do they tell me 2-3 hours for an oil change which turns into an all day job and me not getting a call until close to closing every single time. This dealership overcharges for oil changes when they clearly have a coupon online for 34.95 for a basic oil change, and it states additional 20 for synthetic. Cool, I'm glad they offer coupons, but when you drop your car off they should automatically quote you that instead of saying oh it's 99.95 for full synthetic oil. I told the service advisor well online you have a coupon for 34.95 and he said that doesn't apply to your car since it only takes synthetic. Then I proceeded to tell him about how it says additional 20 for synthetic. He asked to see the coupon, which I showed him so he can honor the price. He got real quit afterwards. I'm not taking my car here again to get serviced. It's ridiculous that the staff try to rip you off unless you mention the coupon first. read more

If I could give the moss bros Chrysler jeep dodge Moreno Valley service department I definitely would. They are so rude and incapable of helping anyone. This is my second time here and I definitely do not recommend it to anyone. You literally wait around 15-30 minutes for someone to even acknowledge that you're there and then when you're explaining what you're there for then it's "go to that side" "go to the cars part" "go find a service personnel" like who am I talking to then if you're not a service personnel? I was told I have 50 dollars in gas because I did a survey after my recall appointment which was its own rudeass experience anyways I said great free gas why not so I show up and finally was told to go to a service personnel after 15 minutes of waiting to be acknowledged and then I go inside the service little office and I get a "what do you need" "go to the other office so they can see if they'll even do it for you today". They took my car waited 30 minutes then I go ask if they know how long it's going to take "yea you just gotta wait we don't know who took your car" I'm pretty sure if you ask me my information and actually put it in you'll see a name pop up with who had my car or is that not his service departments work? Anyways I honestly think if the entire service department of the Moreno Valley location gets an attitude adjustment things would be way better. read more

I have been debating about doing this review because I don't typically do bad reviews and the ONLY reason this is getting 2 stars is because of one of the sales managers, Mo who has recently made things right. I recently bought a Dodge Challenger and traded in a Jeep. My credit has never been an issue when I've purchased vehicles and although I am upside down with my Jeep- I was buying a vehicle that was fairly cheap so "NO BIG DEAL"-- SO I THOUGHT. The process of getting the vehicle was no issue, very quick, obviously didn't leave with the monthly payments I wanted but I figured since I was upside down on my Jeep- I needed to work with the financial aspect of it... so I did. Fast forward to 8 days later- the part where I am EXTREAMLY furious about and have never dealt with anything like this with any other dealership in my life. So I get a random call from a "HANS" or something along those lines, telling me that I needed to come in because they didn't have the payoff amount to the jeep, HOWEVER, I had JUST had a phone conversation with Karina a day prior and gave her all of the information regarding the payoff so I called BS on this- he then stated "Oh, well, you need to come in to re-sign the papers because you never signed the trade in document..Again,,,I called BS and asked what the real reason was...he then told me he didn't have any answers because my file wasn't in front of him but again, that I needed to come in. I am going to skip over the unnecessary BULLSHIT within the last few days of getting nothing but a run-around and get right to the point of this review....Lets just say they pulled the whole YO-YO Financing scam and stated that the real reason I needed to come in was because they couldn't get me financed and my contract was cancelled. WHICH IS VERY funny because it took me all of 24 hours to get a bank to finance this loan with NO issues and the APR that was on the original contract with Moss Bros. As of Right now, this issue is ongoing and will be meeting with MO today to hopefully sign this new contract with all of the promises that was made VIA phone conversation and never deal with this place again!!!!! I brought my truck in at 8:35. Appointment at 8:40. I didn't get the paperwork part done till 9. Then I waited 45 minutes for the shuttle which they told me 20 minutes. But the driver was awesome. No complaints there. Going back to my truck. Was told 2-3 hours. 6 1/2 hours later I had to call to find out where my truck is. And they tell me it's still ten minutes out. Called and Don said car was still available and would have it brought from another lot while we were in route for an hour's drive. When we arrived we were dished off to an assistant and the car was not on site. Assistant had to drive us to 2 other affiliate lots. We found the car and wanted to buy it. We were told it was a cash price only. Surprise! But we were willing to pay cash. Then manager Cesar insisted we would have to pay for "additional equipment" like LoJack that had been installed by dealer totaling an additional $3000! We had to walk out. Thanks for the false advertising! Thanks for costing us $30 in gas, 4 hours of our time and the credit ding on our credit report for your credit check. Great experience from over 300 miles away! I had been looking for a Ram 1500 with certain equipment. I had looked all over CA for several weeks when I found THE truck at Moss. I got a hold of Adam who said the truck was not ready for sale as it had just been traded in. We kept in contact for a few days until the truck was ready. Adam drove to their other store to get the truck and set it aside for me. We made an appointment for 3 days later. All this was done via phone and text. I flew into Ontario where Adam picked me up at the airport and drove me to the Moreno Valley store. We checked out the truck, which was exactly as described. We took a short test drive and I was sold! I went into the finance office with Amparo who had me out in 10 minutes! Adam did an orientation with me and I was off on a 6 hour drive home. Bought a brand new car from Moss Dodge over a year ago. Have only 15,000 miles on it now and had a flat tire. Thank goodness I did as the very observant technician (not at Moss) saw that the tires were splitting. He said he could not repair the tire as they tires were in unsafe condition. He noticed the dates were very old on the tires. I did the math and determined that the NEW tires on the NEW car were almost 5 years old when I bought the car. What kind of practice is this?????? The service advisor did not know what he was talking about regarding any if the services my car was supposed to receive. He was for from professional. I made an appointment today expecting the same mediocre service. I was pleasantly surprised they have hired a new service advisor named Will Cooper he was beyond excellent. Very professional and knowledgeable. He had great customer service skills I really appreciated that. DO NOT GO HERE. My husband bought had been researching for six months the truck he wanted to buy. Once he found it at this dealership looking online, he contacted them to see. If was not on the lot yet and could not be sold even though advertised differently, so he was advised he would have to wait. No problem. Shortly there after he was contacted to come look at the truck as they had moved it to the lot. He liked it, it was "certified" allegedly. So he was going to go forward with the sale once they had done the safety inspection as they advised would need to be done in order to sell it. My husband had our 4 year old son with him so he said he would come back to finish the purchase upon the inspection completion. The sales person said if you leave we cannot guarantee you the truck and thus pressured him into buying it without the inspection complete. Then made him wait 9 hours with our son so they could to the inspection. They were too busy that day was there excuse when the inspection took hours longer than promised. Because of how busy there were they could not detail the car as promised and part of the contract nor did they do the smog check. Granted we found out about the smog after he left the dealership and was advised he would have to bring the truck back (mind you we live an hour away). Husband took the car back and was promised it would only take an hour, it took way longer and he was late to work and they did not even do the work, after waiting he was advise there was not a tech certified to do the smog check at work that day. This happened numerous times, once it was finally smog check (allegedly) he again got a call to come back because they neglected to weigh it... they said for a convenience he could take it to get weighed himself and pay for it. We did not take this option as we at this point no longer trusted anything they said. The truck was sold, with the promised oil change that was brought to our attention by our mechanic, the safety inspection did not occur as the wrong fluids were in the truck and now it is at another dealership to get EVERYTHING fixed that was affected by the fluid. There were SO many other things that transpired, but I could not possibly include it all on here. Even during one of the many visits my husband took, another customer was overcharged for warranty work. My husband advised him to be cautious so the customer was extra careful and notice they billed him incorrectly and tried sneak other charges onto his bill. Please save yourself the heartache, headache and time and purchase and get maintenance from another dealer. These dealership is the definition of fraudulent. If I could have given negative stars I would have as we are still living this nightmare and may have a broken vehicle on our hands. read more

I went to Moss Bros. Dodge to get my Durango 2016 air conditioner check. I was told by the extended warranty company that the Moreno Valley branch couldn't do the work on it and I had to take it back to the Riverside branch where I purchased it at after it had been diagnosed there and sitting there a whole day. The Riverside Branch is far from my house and the shuttle wouldn't bring me home from there. Also I would of had to find someone to get me. But thanks to Will Cooper for talking to the warranty company for me again. I was able to have the work done at the Moreno Valley Branch. If I was able to write a zero star or negative I would. This dealership is a joke! Their warranties on vehicles mean nothing! My daughter brought her jeep in less than a year old and under warranty as well. She was having a problem starting her vehicle. We brought the vehicle in and we had to pay for a rental out of pocket until they diagnosed the vehicle. She never got a reimbursement for her rental vehicle. And when they finally diagnosed it it took them two days to "fix" they told her to come get the vehicle. The very next day the vehicle had a problem starting again.Again my husband had to handle the situation and bring the vehicle back in again and was told by the repair department that they had to diagnose it again!! After two days of a run around they said oh sorry we can't fix it we don't know what's wrong with it come get your car. My daughter is 25 going through a divorce and has a young child. When she went to drop off her rental car and pick up her jeep she was told by the repair department but they didn't know what to tell her they don't know what it is and I can't fix it. Then it was sent to a salesman to buy a new car. They actually wanted her to trade and her piece of crap car which is 25,000 on to a new loan! When I had finally had enough I called the GM Julian. Who actually told me not to speak to him as I was speaking to him and my daughter was in talking about a new car. Are you kidding me Julian?! How dare you tell me a woman how to speak and talk a young single mother going through divorce into new car because you can't follow up on a warranty and your repair department can't fix it because they don't know what it is!!!!!! Sold me a car that had a shit battery, wasn't even running for 1 week before it went completely dead. The breaks are squeaky and on top of that the car jerks and jumps when driving it. When I called to let them know what was going on I kept getting transferred and transferred and transferred and eventually I kept getting hung up on. They couldn't do anything for me because apparently they don't have towing services and they told me that I'd have to pay for that out of pocket. So instead I had to buy a whole used battery to get my car down there. Once I get it there they tell me it might take a couple days to replace the battery and breaks which should only take max 2-3 hours considering other appointments. So they offer me a ride for up to 14 miles and I give them a location within 12. Somehow it comes back as 20 and by this time I've been sitting in the waiting room for 2 hours and they failed to inform me when they received the email that they couldn't take me to my location so I was sitting in the lobby for an extra hour for no reason . (No regard for my time). So I had to pay for a $50 Uber home. And I'm sure they're not reimbursing me. So take that as you will but if you're looking for a used vehicle I wouldn't even waste your time here bc it could cost you so much more money than you think and a headache read more

I'm not sure how this place is still open. The manger here is rude and should not be in charge. Seems like he only cares about the money and not the employees or customers. We're in 2020 and they still don't offer direct deposit. The inside of the dealer is outdated. And doesn't seem like a place to visit during Covid-19. I went to go look at the 2020 Jeep unlimited sport and the manager tried to charge me 46,000 for a Jeep that is stock and the most basic car for the Jeep Wranglers. Along with this, the manger rudely refused to remove his add ons after telling him I didn't want them. This location should be closed and change the person in charge. He tried to take advantage me because I was a first time buyer. I'm sure this isn't the first person he took advantage of.
