They do a good job and love that they wash my car too. Run fast from here. I bought a 2010 Chevy Impala with just under 51k miles 10 months ago. I also purchased the extended service warranty. The same day I purchased my vehicle I referral a co-worker who also purchased a vehicle the same day. I brought my vehicle in yesterday because if was leaking some sort of fluid. I find out today its the radiator, thermostat and transmission cooler all need the be replaced for a whooping $1,500 and my extend service warranty doesn't cover any of it. My vehicle has been driven less than 12k miles since purchase and not outside of Riverside County. I called to speak with a Manager and was placed on hold for 15 minutes only to be hung up on. I advised anyone looking to purchase a used vehicle from here not too. There is no way I should have such expensive repairs within less than a year of purchase. Moss Bros refuse to account for any of the repair cost. This isn't normal wear and tear on a vehicle. I was sold a lemon. I've been waiting for the Service Manager to return my call since Monday the 5th of March. I called this morning at 8a and it 1:20 and nothing. read more

In the last 2 years we have purchased a Ram 3500 dually, a 1500 Ram truck and a Jeep JK WILLY'S. The Ram 3500 was purchased at Glen E. Thomas, Signal Hill. It was an excellent experience.Unfortunately, because of distance we changed to Moss Bros. The purchase and trade in of the 1500 went fairly well. We returned and bought the Jeep. During this time we also had the service dept. attempt to fix the air suspension on the truck. After a total of two weeks they claimed success. IT IS STILL MALFUNTIONING! They blamed it on lack of knowledge on a new system. Meanwhile, an incredible amount of mileage and a used up a tank of gas. There service manager is incredibly defensive, rude and obnoxious. While this was going on 11 days passed since I fully paid for the Jeep, the add on's promised in 3 or 4 days had not happened! The service manager blamed sales. The salesman blamed the service dept. They both blamed the parts dept. Each time blaming a different part! The "General Manager" Sergio told me he would absolutely call me back. Instead he had his defensive do nothing "Service Manager" call me. I guess the GM is incapable, or afraid of dealing with a woman who fights back. DO NOT BUY HERE. DO NOT USE THE SERVICE DEPT.! My brother and I kept saying that we had to go back and give the sale to Rolando because he was so laid back and personable. He answered all our questions and felt like a friend during the whole process, from test drive to signing the paperwork. Anything that came up he made it right and the buying process was made easy. The worst car dealership service I've ever experienced. I had a service appointment for routine maintenance and was waiting on the service lane and everybody was just passing me when there were only 2 cars in the lane, which includes me. I had to roll down the window and call someone for assistance. I told them my other car issue and they told me that I'm going to have to leave my car for the diagnosis. I left my car on a Tuesday morning and I had to call them to get an update on a Friday afternoon. They told me they will give me an update Monday but they never did. So I called and asked only to find out that they have not even touched the car at all. A whole week of nothing, not even the routine maintenance for my car which was the main purpose for my appointment. I ended up picking up the car because they did not do anything at all. So in summary, staff was rude, service is terrible, and a whole week was wasted when I could have just brought the car elsewhere! read more

I wanted to share this review with Moss Chrysler because they were very much a part of my transaction with MVP Cars. A used car dealer within the Moss Brothers family. Here goes: Sorry this is so over due but the review is worthy of posting. (Actual purchase April 2014). I finally found the 2012 Volkswagen Passat TDI I had been looking for for a long time. Reasonable miles and excellent price. I couldn't even haggle them down in good conscience because I knew this was a good deal. I had researched the car for two years. To start with I got myself pre-approved through a local credit union at what I felt was a very competitive rate. I felt confident going in and initially refused their financing then thought what the heck. They came back with a 1.9% apr on a used car loan. Deal! Everything looked good. We closed the deal that day. As I was about to drive off the lot I noticed the AC wasn't cold. I went back to meet with Hans the sales manager, he said leave it here we'll take care of it. Without going in to too much detail, they "took care of if"! After trying this, replacing that and after the GM's (Dave Oley) authorization to replace a very expensive item, the AC was fixed. All at no expense to me. The service writer Jason was very patient and courteous through the whole process. I've been nothing but pleased with the service and car received from MVP. An additional bonus, because MVP is part of the Moss Brothers Group, I also receive free oil changes for the life of the car performed by Moss Brothers Volkswagen at the same auto center. I had come here previously having a relatively good experience but after my last visit, I will most definetly not bring my vehicle to this location. Went to get a simple oil change which should have taken about an hour at the most. They told me it was running late so I asked for a shuttle. After 5-7 hours, I called back to no reply with MULTIPLE attempts at reaching the service department. I went and got a taxi to pick up my vehicle done but with 20 miles more then i had had on it when i had turned it in to them. Paid roughly 40 dollars for crummy service and for my vehicle to be used. Upon arrival Fred informed us that it could be done this evening along with the factory recall. An hour later we got a call that it was ready to be picked up. Now that's quick customer service. My wife and I were shopping cars when a friend sent us here on a referral, to say this was the best car buying experience I had would be and understatement. We picked the car from the site and when we finally arrived the car was washed and ready for us to test drive. The manager Joe greeted us and made sure he was available for any questions or concerns we had. After the test drive we sat down to discuss numbers. I gave them mine and 10 min later they returned, done deal. We looked at each other like " That seemed too easy". I wouldn't hesitate to go back or refer everyone to this dealer. We have a 2011 Dodge Durango that we had towed in. The vehicle was not starting but was turning over. We had done some research and knew that the parts needed were under recall. Fuel pump relay and alternator. After having the vehicle diagnosed they recommended a new battery. We purchased the battery at Sears and was still under warranty so we refused one. The vehicle according to them was fixed and we drove the vehicle home. As soon as we arrived we parked and turned the vehicle off. 10 minutes later we tried starting the vehicle and it wouldn't even turn over. So I went to take the battery out and the posts were loose, I then took the battery out and took it to Sears. The battery tested great and was told nothing was wrong with it. We called Moss brothers and tried explaining that the vehicle was not starting nor turning over. The Service manager in a loud and rude voice stated " sounds like you are trying to place the blame on someone". we responded with no all we wanted was the vehicle fixed. During our visit they indicated that the #2 spark plug was miss firing and charged us $300 to change them out. The spark plugs cost is less than $50, they also tried telling us that one of the parts under recall needed to be wired into the harness and charged us $130 to do so although it was under recall. After all of this and not trusting this place anymore turns out that Moss Brothers burnt out our Starter. so we paid $625 to Moss brothers for nothing and had to pay an additional $480 to have the starter changed at some other place and this doesn't include the tow fee's of $150...Not cool i definitely do not recommend any type of service at this location worst experience ever. read more

What a waste of time. When you buy a car they give you life time oil change. This is a joke first you can never get an oil change useless they have room for you. Then when you do get in they end up charging you over $100.00. Now this is where you need to read the fine print if you go in for what you thought was a free oil change if they recommend any service and you refuse twice you loose that free so you trying to get free oil changes end up costing. read more

I wish I had read these reviews before driving to Moss over 1 1/2 hours this morning and another 1 1/2 hours back home. I've had 3 Lincoln SUV's in a row and decided that I wanted to experience some other type of vehicle. I heard that Jeep owners were loyal to their Jeeps and usually never change so I decided to try a Jeep for myself. I sent an inquiry via the website for a 2021 Black Jeep Cherokee 80th anniversary edition. Moss was the only one who had this particular car in a 150 mile radius with the 4WD and the 2.0 turbo engine. I was contacted by a sales person who emailed what the price would be after the $37,155 MSRP. Not only did the bottom line price include the Jeep rebates but to my surprise it included an additional $2,000 dealer discount. I arrived early at 10:20 AM this morning. The salesperson I was scheduled to see Gio, didn't come in today and another salesperson I believe his name is Freddie but not a 100% sure, he was a heavier Hispanic man who told me he was 51 yrs old. He greeted me and led me to an office and without even sitting down he says "So lets run your credit and some numbers and do this deal". I said to him "Aren't I suppose to see the vehicle and test drive it before we start completing applications to purchase?" He then looked at me and said "Let me get the keys". When he arrived with the key he said "Come on"...this is a direct quote, he actually said "Come on". I was completely thrown off by this unprofessional behavior. I was so offended that I asked if it's too much trouble to show me the vehicle you can have someone else do it. He said "No I'll show it to you." During the 3 minute drive he didn't volunteer anything about the vehicle other than that it had heated seats. All other information about the vehicle was only responses to my questions. Normally the sales person is the person who volunteers the information about the car, I thought that was the core function of being a salesperson. When I headed back to the dealership his only comment was "So lets do this deal." I stated to him "I would like to stop and take a look at the car to get familiar with the options that it has, like does it have a power liftgate?" He then said "No it doesn't". At this point his tone changed and he didn't care if I bought it or not. I asked if I would get it at the price that I was emailed. He said that I would get it at that price plus the dealer add-ons. I said what dealer add-ons. He said there's $3100 of add-ons that buyers are required to purchase on all of our cars. Really?? You say you were giving me a $2,000 dealer discount but then tell me I'm forced to buy $3,100 of add-ons? I told him that I was never told this and he said it's in the fine print but the fine print doesn't tell you the cost. I can't believe I wasted 3 hours on the road to find out in 10 minutes that it was all a trick. Car buying and buying a home is a most arduous experience and with both you never feel good about the purchase until after you get the keys in hand. I expected that this would be a tedious day and I prepared myself for the long hall. I released my credit reports, I brought my W2, my paystubs and even water. I never suspected that I would spend 10 minutes there and leave upset because I had such a rude unprofessional salesperson and find out that the sales price was a scam. I even have a sour taste in my mouth about the Jeep brand. I know it's not reasonable to discount an entire manufacturer however that's how it feels. I manage a group of 7 employees which I know compared to the salespeople at this dealership is probably considered a small group but I feel that no matter the size of your staff they all should be held at the same standard of providing quality service. I would have reprimanded anyone on my staff if they were as unprofessional as the person I dealt with today. Will never go there again. My complaint will not stop with Yelp. Hello I purchased a 2018 Dodge Durango from you guys last Saturday on 2/1/20. I have never been so unhappy with a vehicle purchase. I expressed some areas of concern I had with Frank before purchasing the vehicle, such as the scratches in the leather and the permanent marker ink in the leather seats and he told me no worries, it will be fixed! He gave me his cell phone number so that I could reach him during the week because he has a mysterious detailer at your guys dealership that wasn't working that day. He said to bring the car back during the week and the car would get brought up to expectations. As I took the car home I realized the interior was not cleaned at all. My two year old son picked up a used bloody band aid from the previous owner! As I tried numerous times to get ahold of Frank I realized he blocked my phone number from his phone. How unprofessional is that!? Is that what you guys are about? Making empty promises to your customers and then you block them as soon as they leave the dealership so you guys can't be reached. Since I couldn't get ahold of Frank I decided to detail the car myself. As I begin, I realized the car is filled every where with sand. If I just tap the seats, sand flies out of the perforated holes in the leather. I spent 8 hours alone trying to get the sand out and it made no difference at all. I then had to use my wife's phone to call Frank since he blocked my number. I asked him if can I take the car to get cleaned up like he promised and he said "his guy was off" to bring it in the next day. I called again the next day as he suggested and he said "his guy called off" again. He insisted for me to just bring it in if I really wanted it clean!? and someone will take care of it. Once again I drive 45 minutes to get my car cleaned as it should have been at the time of purchase! As I'm waiting there for two hours my car was finally ready. I proceed to see the work that was done to my vehicle. At this point, just as I expected to go along with the poor customer service mike had given me, nothing was done to my car! Literally nothing at all! I drive 45 minutes to take my car to simply get cleaned and literally nothing at all was done to my car. I approached the front desk clerk so he can come to see the work that was clearly not done. He came and looked at the vehicle, apologizing for the fact that they did nothing to my car. He called them to take vehicle back and do it over again. After another hour wait they bring my car back and inform me i'll have to bring it back to be serviced, so that they can remove my leather seat covers from the seats, to get the sand removed. At this point I'm so confused? I thought buying a certified used vehicle meant that it went through a certified process to get the vehicle "Certified" up to expectations? Im just curious did that process skip this vehicle!? On top of that we didn't even get the courtesy of having the gas tank filled up! Frank said "They should fill up the tank when they're done detailing the car, but if not then bring it back to me." They still didn't put any gas. How many times do we have to keep bringing back the car? Not to mention I purchased a 37,000 vehicle from you guys that doesn't come with floor Matts! I asked an employee about floor mats, and he told me I would have to work out a deal with my sales man who blocked me and his manger thats supposed to have reached out to me but I've yet to hear from him. Not to mention the vehicle needs an oil change and I've had it for only a week and as am I'm driving the plastic cover on the rear view mirror flies off and smacks me in the face as I'm driving. How unsafe is this vehicle! I've also yet to hear back from you you guys about when my car is actually going to get serviced to get the sand removed? read more

He is trustworthy, sticks to his word, does not pull a fast one on you (I'm sure everyone who has shopped for a car knows what I mean) and has followed up to make sure I'm happy. Finance guy came in and vibe totally changed at first he said dealers don't negotiate when I told him the price we were looking to get it at.. so he left for a minute came back went down 1000 on the overall and 1000 up for our trade in well you just negotiated didn't you lol... Anyways thank you finance guy 1 for not introducing yourself and 2 not coming down in price we were able to find a dealer to sell us a brand-new 2019 Chrysler Pacifica for 27000 otd compared to your almost $30000 for a 1000+ mile vehicle. I'm the owner of a brand-new minivan with NO miles from a different dealer thanks to you lol but what really cemented me not wanting to buy from moss was when the bald finance man in the office shooed us away oh moss you're hilarious. I am extremely disappointed in the customer service I received at Moss Bro's in Moreno Valley. I went in with a list of items I needed to purchase my car - we test drove a Dodge Crossover which we loved - the power the gas mileage as well as the features such as blue tooth, sun roof, navigation and they were even going to install DVD players for us because that was important with 3 children that we had. We ended up being told we couldn't get that car and had to get a brand new model - was told they would discuss the DVD player with us - no sunroof - but that it had all other features - when we went to test drive we couldn't because the battery was dead - but was promised it had all we wanted and it drove the same as the crossover. So paperwork was signed. When I went to leave in the car it turns out there is no navigation and no blue tooth - and then was told they can not help with the DVD players. I feel as though I was lied to - I have gone in multiple times to complain and told each time "sorry its water under the bridge now" I even have had 2 salesmen agree that the situation was not fair to me and I was taken advantage of - but they cant not help me - I am leaving a bad review on every social media site I can - and will continue to do so until this is made right!!! Today i had an issue with my car i had to take it in for a consumption test a couple weeks ago and today when i finally took it in check how it came out because my car literally stops in the middle of the rkad and it takes till the 2nd or third time to start up again they ended up telling me it needs a whole new engine! My car is brand new ive only had it for 2 yrs 11 months i shouldn't have this issues on a new car . JT was very helpful with me and guided me with what to do next i tried a trade in and it didnt work out but what really got me upset is that the dealer couldnt even give me a rental ! Its not my fault my car engine doesnt work and needs to be replaced they shouldve given me atleast a rental since its gonna take about a month or 2 to fix it ! Im currently pregnant and i was there for hours dealing with this whole situation i had to call my husband to leave his work to come get me. Im so upset !
