Mother Dough was cozy and adorably decorated in Art Deco vibes on a crisp Monday before our flight. We had a croissant, latte, americano and cookie. Food was tasty and drinks were hot & strong. I appreciated their accessibility measures to allow all to enjoy their upstairs space, too.

Stopped by for lunch on a hot day. Loved the outdoor seating and selection of baked goods. Ended up trying the Greek yogurt and fresh granola. The granola was delicious and I also enjoyed the chocolate chip cookie, though it was a little under cooked in the very center.

I tried their half sandwich half soup combo for $12.50. My chicken baguette was five stars. The chicken was super tender. The baguette was soft and tasty. It had a ton of stuff in it including mozzarella. I need to add mozzarella to all my sandwiches from now on! The wild rice soup was good. I also tried their matcha latte, which just didn't wow me as much with their matcha power. Service was friendly. We enjoyed their outdoor seating and overall ambiance. I would come back just for that chicken baguette sandwich.

Cute bakery! The atmosphere drew me in and I like the location in the Mill District. The space is really big and there's a cozy fireplace upstairs. Service was solid, too. I tried a lemon loaf and a miel; the miel was good, but I wouldn't order that lemon loaf again, since it was tiny and fairly dry. Everything else about Mother Dough encourages me to come back and try different treats, though! Metered street parking in the area.

I took my friends on a field trip down the street from the hotel. They wanted to go check out some bakeries and I said there's one down the street. The glass is decorated with colors of gold like writings, which was very cool. Once inside was beautiful. Look at the ceiling! They offer pastries, desserts, coffee, tea, and wine. Anything to get your morning started. The dining area is upstairs just some ways down from the pastry counter.

Charming French bakery café with a relaxed atmosphere. Extensive variety of breakfast pastries and beverages. The server was incredibly kind and courteous.

I was excited to walk down to this new location for lunch! It did not disappoint! I had the daily quiche with olives, cheese, ham, and other veggies - amazing!!! It came with a side of greens that I loved! I also had a Chai. It was perfectly sweet and spiced, but WAY too hot haha. I didn't get a sweet treat this time but they all looked amazing. My co-worker said the vegan chocolate cake was the best she'd ever ever had. The staff was friendly and fairly quick. The vibes were so cute and great for breakfast or lunch. Seating for 20 or so. Prices were reasonable but not low by any means. That's probably the only thing that will keep me from going weekly haha. But definitely worth the visit!

It's very cute inside, French Parisian vibe. There is outdoor seating as well with heaters. It is a walk up and order so easy grab and go options. The chocolates and truffles looked tasty so we will probably try that next time. The Miel was excellent, not too sweet and good coffee flavor. We loved the chocolate croissant which tasted fresh. The down side was the chicken baguette sandwich. The chicken was dry, not a lot of flavor, and the baguette was very chewy. We ordered it along with our other food items and were given a table number, assuming that the sandwich would be brought to us. But the baguette was just from the display counter and seemed like it had been sitting out for a while.

I attended solo but luckily really liked the group I was assigned to. We wanted everyone to work on things they enjoy and allowed everyone to try some parts of the important tasks (making pasta and pastry dough). Your enjoyment might really depend on what your group is like. You can buy wine and beer to drink while you take the class, and those were reasonably priced I thought! $9 for a glass of wine and I think $8 for beer. The class was chaotic since we were making three courses and things needed to be done at different times, but the chaos felt like how it really is in a kitchen making multi course menus, so that didn't bother me! The assistants were great and helped us stay on track and helped if we were struggling with anything. I can't say I learned much from the class (which is why I only gave 4 stars), but I sure had a lot of fun!

The hostess was extremely unfriendly and seemed very unhappy. She played the game and greeted us, but never once made eye contact, said "welcome in", "thank you for coming in" or anything else that would make a customer feel like they were appreciated for coming in. From the time we walked in to the time she showed us to our table, I said "thank you so much" three times and not once was even acknowledged or replied back with a "you're welcome". She should really find something else to do if she's not going to be a "host". Serving people should be the greatest pleasure we have when engaging with those we don't know. Patrick on the other hand was truly awesome. Friendly, smiling, engaged in conversation prior to taking our order and just seemed happy to talk to us. We told him we were from Nevada and were only there because of a recommendation from a couple in an elevator! He thought that was just awesome. Food arrived and everything was really good. The hash browns were WAY overcooked, almost burnt, but that was the only negative thing to say about the food. It was otherwise delicious! I would strongly suggest this place for breakfast. The menu is really good, with a decent variety of good options to choose from. Cost wasn't bad, but not a deal either. If I was part of the management team, I'd have a serious conversation with the young lady who was hosting today (8/12/26. This place was practically across the street, so we decided to take a breather from the hectic festivites and come here. Immediately we were greeted with cooling A/C and much-needed silence. Cool and quiet... the perfect escape. The place was decked out for pride with lots of colorful flags representing many of the wonderful ways to be queer. Definitely get bonus points for their allyship. I got a bottled Coca-Cola and my hubbie got a simple cup of brewed coffee. They had a reasonably-sized menu with even some smoothies and such listed, as well as a display of bakery items. A chalkboard showed their three seasonal beverages, which looked fun (though not my cup of tea). One of the employees was very helpful when I requested a cup of ice to go with my Coke; I needed the extra cool down after all the time we'd spent in the sun in the heat! We sat at one of the tables and appreciated leaning back into the chairs with back support for several minutes. Whew! Perked us back up nicely. There isn't a ton of space/lots of places to sit and I was kind of shocked the place wasn't flooded with queers, lol. There was quite the line for the bathroom though, according to my husband. The decor is nice and neat. I think I spotted a small selection of board games you could break out if desired too, which is fun.

The staff was very friendly and welcoming, which made for a great first impression. The menu is a little limited, but what I had was excellent. I ordered the light roast coffee and it was super good. I was also happy to see they carry Cardigan Donuts. If you have not had one before, they are absolutely worth trying! The biggest drawback for me was the WiFi. It was so unreliable that it made getting work done almost impossible, which is a pretty significant downside for a coffee shop. Overall, I enjoyed the coffee, the atmosphere, and the friendly staff, but the limited menu, somewhat uncomfortable seating, and especially the poor WiFi kept this from becoming one of my go to coffee shops.
