The sandwiches here are always excellent and the club sandwich is among the best I've ever eaten. This sandwich is huge and you better be able to open your mouth extremely wide to fit the first bite. My wife often orders the pastrami and I have to tell you that it is excellent. The meat is not at all fatty and is extremely well seasoned. I'm a big eater with a huge appetite and often bring the second half of my club sandwich home for dinner. The service has always been prompt and extremely friendly. We stopped for lunch and initially weren't sure it would be worth the prices. We asked a couple people leaving and they assured it was. The sandwiches are humongous and very good quality. The combos with a half sandwiches with a salad or fries are easily plenty or two people can share a whole one. I highly recommend the fried zucchini. Went to this place at 2:30pm and got sat at 2:55 which was okay.Once seated we didn't get drinks until 3:15 when we ordered drinks and food at 3:05 and our food did not come out till 4.We waited 55 minutes for cold waffles and French toast to the point that our strawberries were warmer than our French toast and waffles and the "over easy" eggs had dried up from there heat lamp.By the time we got our food half the people in the restaurant were gone and three tables that ordered after us got their food including a table of six. Since my friends and I wanted to go to the grocery store anyway, we decided to head back to the far side of town for a bite to eat. I remembered that I enjoyed Mountain Munchies last time and I ended up ordering the same thing, a turkey and swiss melt. I still find it odd that their burgers come with a side but the sandwiches don't but I was able to share an order of beer battered fries with a friend. The side portion would be way too big to just add on to a single order but it's perfect for sharing. I loved the crunchy outside of the fries and would pick them over the curly fries, which I tried last time, any day. While the food was wonderful, what really won me over was that they immediately scooped up my gloves, which had fallen off my lap onto the floor, after I left the restaurant and kept them safe until I could return the next day to pick them up. Being in Big Bear in the winter, I definitely needed my gloves to keep my fingers from freezing. If you're looking for a-lot of food for your buck this is it, the burger did have a very thin patty on it and it was drowned by avocado. I asked for no lettuce it ended up on there anyway.
