    Mister Breakfast

This place was okay. It is close to the convention center and major hotels, which makes it an easy choice for breakfast. The food wasn't amazing. I got the mister breakfast and the avocado it came with was super hard. Everything else was good, as expected. Nothing exceeded expectations. Good soft boiled eggs and the sourdough was nice. The ambiance is conducive for studying or coming by alone. There is free water (self-serve) which is nice if you were coming here to work. The service was coffee-shop service. You order at the front and later people bring out your food with the number at your table.

A cafe that is attached to the 8th+Olive building. The vibe feels like you're dining in a west elm. This place gets busy, and there was a queue for ordering when I arrived. I ordered the large latte and a marionberry biscuit. Food and drink was okay, but the ambiance in the cafe is nice and the staff were friendly.

Still an amazing spot! They're offering lunch combos for $17! You get a choice of half a sandwich, half a salad or soup and a cookie/ beverage. Loved the Mr West sandwich! The people here are so friendly :)

The entrance invites you in. The patio kidders a relaxing space to enjoy your coffee.

Mr West Cafe is a delightful downtown Seattle corner cafe offering delicious cappuccino, a key start to the day. It has a pleasant tree lined outdoor patio space. Service was excellent. It's located right across the street from Hyatt Regency Downtown.

While in Seattle, we stumbled upon Mr. West, a cute little café. I ordered a grilled cheese and a cup of tomato soup. The grilled cheese was made to perfection the bread was fresh, thick, and delicious, and it was packed with cheese! The tomato soup was also delicious with a unique flavor. My only (very minor) complaint is that it was served in a cup, which made it hard to dip the grilled cheese. A bowl would've been much better for dipping! Overall, this café was a quiet, cozy spot with pleasant employees. I'd definitely visit again.

The grilled cheese and tomato soup were great. The latte was disappointing; it was supposed to be maple toffee flavored but it just tasted plain.

I absolutely love their root beer cream drink which is root beer + 2 shots of espresso and then cold foam on top. It wasn't on their printed menu display, but when I went over to the self-order kiosk, I was relieved to see it was available to order on there. They have that kiosk for people who just want to pick up a drink and leave, which was really convenient since there was definitely a small line for ordering with the barista. You can also preorder online as well. Plenty of seating, it was a cute space, and I think there's extra seating to the side of the main cafe as well, which is nice. I personally haven't tried their cocktails and other drinks, but some of my friends have and they loved those as well.

This case has a good variety of food and beverage options and is really centrally located to a lot of hotels. I had the Turkish Eggs and a Seattle Fog, both were good! The service was good too, all the staff was friendly. The ambiance is casual. I walked to it so I don't know if there were any parking options. Good for a good breakfast that doesn't feel too heavy and still feels filling!

I've been here twice and had wildly different experiences each time. The first time was a Saturday. A google review erroneously said dogs were allowed in the shop, so I stopped by on my pups morning walk, hoping to pop in quickly and continue on our walk with my drink. When I saw the sign on the door saying no dogs, I opted to do a mobile order and wait on the porch. The projected time for my drink was over 30 minutes (CRAZY) but there weren't a whole lot of people inside, so I figured there was no way a matcha latte could take that long. ...Boy was I wrong! I hovered outside on the porch for about 20/25 minutes, keeping close track of the comings and goings, who was arrived around the and time as me and was still waiting, who was still watching their phone intently. Eventually, I went back inside and just made sure my pup sat still while I waited. At 30 minutes, I checked in and was told my drink was coming up "soon". It ended up taking nearly 40 minutes to get my drink. It was good, but not good enough to wait that long again. The second time was on a Friday afternoon. I went to Arrowhead right across the street, but they were sadly out of matcha. I REALLY wanted one, so we went here. My partner and I walked right up to the counter, ordered our drinks and got them almost immediately. The barista was deep in conversation w another worker and I feel like she just threw the drinks together so she could get back to yapping. Needless to say, both were absolutely disgusting. 99% milk with 1% matcha. The drink was barely even green. I definitely won't be back.

We dined in on a Saturday morning around 10 AM and there was a line. It moved fairly quickly though. The inside is beautiful with plenty of seating and natural light from all the windows. The staff were super friendly and gave great suggestions. The food was delicious! Very fresh and not over seasoned. One of us got the salted honey lavender latte and didn't care too much for it. The lavender was very overpowering.

Large interior, beautiful space with plenty of seating. We came on a Sunday morning and it was practically empty. The Seattle Fog was PERFECT! The brioche sandwich was DELICIOUS. Would definitely recommend this spot if you're looking for a great meet up spot with a light, healthy breakfast.

Great place in downtown. Always has a pleasant vibe to the shop. Food is a bit pricey, but they make it up with good coffee and quick service. Highly recommend going there with coworkers during the day or whenever you're near by

I visited Mr. West 3 times during a work trip- the coffee was that good! The line can get pretty long, so best to order online ahead if you're in a time crunch. My fave drink was the seasonal harvest oatchatta , which is an oatmilk latte with seasonal flavors. The current flavor was pear & cinnamon and I found it to be so very delicious when paired with espresso. A friend ordered the maple toffee latte and it was delicious as well. Neither drink was too sweet or tasted artificially flavored. 10/10 phenomenal coffee! In addition to coffee, Mr. West serves a variety of sandwiches, soup, salad, pastries, and breakfast items. The interior is roomy with a lot of seating space. They also have wine and beer for those wanting alcohol, and a nice happy hour. There are gluten-free and vegan options on the menu, and nondairy milk for coffee drinks. Overall, lots of options and high quality food and drink. I wish I had a spot like this close to me!

As soon as you walk in, you're immersed in a cute café filled with greenery and plants everywhere, which adds to the fun, cozy vibe. It does get pretty packed on the weekends. You order at the counter, and they have a good selection of pastries, sandwiches, and other brunch items. I ordered a vanilla latte, the raspberry cloud matcha, a quiche, and the croque monsieur. The coffee was perfectly creamy and smooth without being too sweet. The food was good, nothing that particularly stood out but I'd still come back. Next time I'd probably try the breakfast board since that seems to be a favorite. Overall, it's a nice spot to study or grab a bite or drink with friends, but just keep in mind it can get pretty noisy when it's crowded.

Thankfully they are open today on the Fourth of July (they will just close a little earlier for the holiday), and I was happy to see that not much has changed since my last visit. Without even realizing it, I ended up ordering the exact same drink I got the first time: a Matcha Float with mochi. I guess you really can't go wrong with it because it's still just as creamy and satisfying as I remembered. The only tiny downside is that it only comes with three small mochi balls, so for almost $9 I wish there were a few more. However, the quality of the matcha is consistently excellent, sooo I don't regret coming back. They have wonderful customer service too! The employee helping me at the register was incredibly patient while I stood there trying to decide what to order. As an awkward introvert, I always feel a little flustered when ordering, but she never made me feel rushed or uncomfortable. She asked my sweetness preference for the Matcha Float, whether I wanted to dine in or take everything to go, and even carefully packed up my yuzu green tea packet with the rest of my order. She was very kind and thoughtful so just wanna say I really appreciate how welcoming she was. Even from my last Seattle visit two years ago, I still remember the employees being helpful and friendly here. I also have to recommend their desserts from my previous visit. (I skipped the sweets this time due to my budget but I still suggest picking up some of their sweets!). The Matcha Basque Cheesecake and the Matcha Tiramisu were both absolutely delicious, and I still remember how amazing they tasted even two years later. The tiramisu is only around $7 and is definitely worth trying if you're a matcha lover. This visit, I picked up their yuzu green tea packet to take home (last time, I got the hojicha). Each packet contains 15 individual tea bags and costs about $10 (not bad for how much tea is in each tea bag). They also sell matcha powder and other tea goodies. I'm looking forward to brewing the yuzu green tea at home since a good cup of hot tea is always comforting, especially when I'm sick (I've been recovering from a cold so tea has been a lifesaver to warm me up!). I actually stopped by for lunch since I didn't eat breakfast, and ordered the Sukiyaki Don (it was much more satisfying than I expected). I was craving a beef bowl and Nana's was one of the few places in the area within walking distance from my work, that was actually open for the holiday today, lucky me! It came with miso soup and a soft-boiled egg, and I was pleasantly surprised to find tofu and mushrooms in the bowl alongside the beef. It left me FULL, my tummy happy, heck yeah. Costs almost $20 but worth satisfying a craving. I won't lie.. I somehow managed to spend about $40 today between my meal, drink, and tea to take home. More than I intended to spend but no regrets, because everything was delicious and the quality has remained consistently high over the years. The only thing that made my visit a little uncomfortable wasn't the café itself. There were quite a few homeless individuals lingering around the front of the building, so I decided against dining out front like I had originally planned since I wanted to enjoy the nice weather, but one of them was panhandling me so I promptly left (thankfully I asked for my order to be packaged for takeout). That's obviously outside of the café's control, and it didn't affect the food or service at all. They still had many seats available inside but probably because it's the holiday. If I recall, the place was packed during the afternoon when I last visited on a weekday. I will still say that Nana's Green Tea continues to be one of my favorite matcha spots whenever I'm in Seattle. Between the consistently high-quality matcha, delicious meals and desserts, excellent selection of teas to bring home, and genuinely exemplary customer service, it's a place I'll happily keep returning to whenever I'm back in town and have the time to visit.

She had wanted to visit for a long time after hearing so many good things about it, so this was the perfect opportunity. The café itself is bright, modern, and absolutely adorable. It has a cozy, inviting atmosphere that makes it a great place to relax over dessert with family or friends. The menu is a dream for matcha and hojicha lovers. They offer an impressive variety of parfaits, floats, frappes, and lattes, with optional additions like mochi and red beans. It took us a while to decide because everything looked tempting. My daughter and I shared the Hojicha Mochi Parfait, while my son ordered the Hojicha Float with mochi. The parfait had a rich, authentic hojicha flavor and was generously layered with chewy mochi, crunchy cereal flakes, and creamy soft serve, giving it a wonderful mix of textures. The float was equally enjoyable, with a bold roasted hojicha flavor that wasn't overly sweet, and the mochi was a fun addition. The quality of the desserts was excellent, and while the prices are on the higher side, they reflect the quality of the ingredients and presentation. If you're a fan of matcha or hojicha, this is definitely a place worth visiting.

Key Points: - Iconic khachapuri "bread boats"…read more- minor drawback: limited coffee customization options and only forks available The Fam and I stopped by Skalka for some breakfast/brunch before perusing the rest of Seattle during my birthday week. I saw it on a few YouTube food influencer videos and was really impressed by what I saw. The their staple is their Georgian khachapuri. They're the iconic bread "boats" filled with cheese, butter, egg, and whatever comes along the variety you ordered. TBH, I actually thought they looked like little volcanoes, which is something I figured The Little One would enjoy. What we ordered: - Stroganoff: one of the popular items listed on the yelp page. The beef was rich, succulent and comforting, with a creamy, savory filling. The pickles added a bit of bright, tangy contrast to balance the richness. - Adjaruli, the classic version with cheese, butter, and egg. To me, this seemed like the plainest version, but I figured The little One would be more likely eat this because she hates anything that resembles a sauce or toppings. Both dishes were fantastic. The bread boat sort of reminded me of a pizza crust: crispy on the outside, soft and chewy inside, and perfect for tearing off and dipping into the cheesy center. The Little one did especially like the crust since she's a big pizza-crust fan. Surprisingly, getting her to eat the cheese and egg was tougher, as she usually likes those. I guess that's just being a kid? Inconsistent fluctuations of opinions and likings? The Mrs. and I happily finished everything she left behind. The restaurant itself is a small, casual spot with self-service kiosks for ordering and open seating. Nothing fancy, but it's efficient. We also appreciated that they had high chairs available, making it easy to visit with a child. We did see other families with kids there too. My only gripes: - once you've submitted your kiosk order, making changes isn't really possible. The staff is so busy going in and out of the kitchen, that you really don't have any opportunity to flag them down. We actually wanted to make one minor change to our order, but by the time I managed to talk to someone about it, she informed me that the order was already being made. - If you order coffee, you need to decide on cream, half-and-half, and sugar ahead of time, seemingly preset amounts. It's entirely prepared in the kitchen, not self serve, and you can't exactly customize to your liking. - Only forks were available. No spoons, no knives. Knives would have been helpful for cutting through the thicker bread crust. Those are very minor complaints, though. The food was excellent, the concept is unique, and the meal was memorable. Won't dock any points off there.

They serve only one type of dish, which is like a bread boat with cheese inside and or other filling. I got the one with spinach and cheese - it is enough for 2 ppl but I finished it on my own as a very hungry pregnant lady. We also got 2 more to go - one with beans and bacon (Lobiani) and the other with beef stroganoff. Both were delicious, although the beans & bacon one has a bit of spice. I would 100% recommend eating in person though, because everything is perfect and melty when it's fresh.

It was a fairly…read morequiet lunch rush after 11 am, and there were a couple of people working from their laptops. As soon as I walked in, I noticed the selection of pastries, hot brunch items, and coffee drinks. The coffee tasting menu looked enticing. If I had more time to leisurely work or talk with company here, I would have opted to go this more adventurous route. However, I did end up trying one of their seasonal menu items - the Sakura Blossom Cloud Latte. I customized this drink with oat milk, even though the foam has to stay as dairy. The oat milk added a nutty creaminess that I particularly enjoyed. There were notes of the sweet Sakura syrup with a slight saltiness from the cream foam that gives the drink its perfect balance. It was a refreshing drink for a pick-me-up and they only had it for a limited time! My only thing is that I felt some coffee beans at the bottom that may not have been grinded as finely but other than that, the drink was amazing and I would recommend as a good backdrop for a spring walk!

They offer plenty of indoor and outdoor seating (note that pets are not allowed indoors). They have a great selection of hot brunch items, plus pastries and cakes. The whole place is modern and bright. The coffee tasting menu is unique, offering latte and espresso flights, and pour-overs. We tried the latte flight, which comes with four adventurous, creative flavors--including a miso latte! Overall, they were a bit on the sweet side for my taste, but very fun to try. The pour-over, however, was phenomenal: deep, rich, and full of berry notes. For food, we had: * Almond Croissant: Perfectly crispy on the outside. I loved that the filling was distributed all the way to the edges, so you get some in every single bite. * Chicken Avocado Salad: A wonderfully light meal featuring grilled chicken breast and a light dressing.
